1Pan-African and early Paleozoic tectonothermal events in the Nyainrong microcontinent:Constraints from geochronology and geochemistry显示文摘To better understand the Pan-African-early Paleozoic tectonothermal events of the Nyainrong microcontinent and the constraints on its tectonic evolution,here we report the results of zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating and geochemical features of Amdo gneiss in the Nyainrong microcontinent.The outcrops of Amdo gneiss is about 30 km south of Amdo County in northern Tibet.The field occurrence,mineral composition,textural characteristics,and whole-rock geochemical features of the four gneiss samples indicate the protolith of the gneisses is intermediate-acid intrusive rock.Gneiss zircon trace element tracing and genetic analysis shows that zircon has typical characteristics of magmatic zircon.The206Pb/238U concordant age of zircon is505–517 Ma,corresponding to the Middle-Late Cambrian,which is the formation age of the protolith.The samples have characteristics of high silicon,alkali-rich,alkalic rate AR=1.73–3.7,the differentiation index DI=70.78–90.28;rock aluminum saturation index ranges from 1.02 to 1.05,FeO/MgO ranges from 2.63 to 4.50,10000×Ga/Al ranges from 2.12 to 2.41,and P2O5and Al2O3content decreased with SiO2increasing.Th and Y contents have a good positive correlation with Rb content;the genetic type of protolith of the gneiss is the differentiation of subalkaline over aluminum I-type granite.Combined with regional data,the tectonic setting of the Amdo gneiss protolith is closely related to the collision orogenic process.The preliminary view is that the Middle-Late Cambrian magmatic events developed on the microcontinent could be the result of Andeantype orogeny along the Gondwana super-continental margin after the end of the Pan-African orogeny.XIE ChaoMing LI Cai SU Li WU YanWang XIE YaoWu 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12:11
2Low-carbon Operation of Combined Heat and Power Integrated Plants Based on Solar-assisted Carbon Capture显示文摘Accelerating the development of renewable energy and reducing CO_(2)emissions have become a general consensus and concerted action of all countries in the world. The electric power industry, especially thermal power industry, is the main source for fossil energy consumption and CO_(2)emissions. Since solvent-based post-combustion carbon capture technology would bring massive extra energy consumption, the application of solar-assisted carbon capture technology has attracted extensive attention. Due to the important role of coal-fired combined heat and power plants for serving residential and industrial heating districts, in this paper, the low-carbon operation benefits of combined heat and power integrated plants based on solar-assisted carbon capture(CHPIP-SACC) are fully evaluated in heat and power integrated energy system with a high proportion of wind power. Based on the selected integration scheme, a linear operation model of CHPIP-SACC is developed considering energy flow characteristics and thermal coupling interaction of its internal modules. From the perspective of system-level operation optimization, the day-ahead economic dispatch problem based on a mix-integer linear programming model is presented to evaluate the low-carbon benefits of CHPIP-SACC during annual operation simulation. The numerical simulations on a modified IEEE 39-bus system demonstrate the effectiveness of CHPIP-SACC for reducing CO_(2)emissions as well as increasing the downward flexibility. 4The subsistence patterns of the Shengedaliang site(-4,000 yr BP)revealed by stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes in northern Shaanxi,China显示文摘In order to explore subsistence patterns in northern Shaanxi Province around 4,000 yr BP,28 human and 24 animal bones from the Shengedaliang site were sampled for stable carbon and nitrogen isotope ratio analysis.The results show that most people primarily subsisted on C_4 resources,e.g.millet and millet-related animal products,despite the fact that there was some intake of C_3 plants by some individuals.Stable nitrogen isotope values indicate that there were differences in meat consumption between individuals at the site.Pigs were mainly foddered with millet and millet byproducts,as well as some cattle,according to their highδ^(13)C values.However,most cattle and the sheep/goats consumed wild C_3 plants at Shengedaliang.Our above findings indicates that subsistence patterns in northern Shaanxi around 4,000 yr BP were characterized by millet farming,while the grassland animal husbandry,e.g.cattle and sheep/goats raising,displayed very little contribution to local economy.The intensive millet farming in northern Shaanxi provided enough food for population growth,ensured the accumulation of wealth,and consequently accelerated social differentiation and complexity.CHEN XiangLong GUO XiaoNing WANG WeiLin HU SongMei YANG MiaoMiao WU Yan HU YaoWu 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,2:2

13Liquid chemical looping gasification of biomass:Thermodynamic analysis on cellulose显示文摘Liquid chemical looping technology is an innovation of chemical looping conversion technology.Using liquid metal oxide as the oxygen carrier during gasification process could prolong the service life of oxygen carrier and improve the process efficiency.In this paper,based on Gibbs minimum free energy method,the thermodynamic characteristics of biomass liquid chemical looping gasification were studied.Cellulose and lignin,the main components of biomass,were taken as the research objects.Bismuth oxide and antimony oxide were selected as liquid oxygen carriers.The results showed that when the temperature increased from 600℃to 900℃,the output of H_(2)and CO in the products of cellulose gasification increased from 0.5 and 0.3 kmol to 1.3 and 2.6 kmol respectively.Different ratios of oxygen carriers to gasification raw materials had the best molar ratio.The addition of steam in the system was beneficial to the increase of H_(2)content and the increase of H_(2)/CO molar ratio.Bi_(2)O_(3)and Sb_(2)O_(3)with different mass ratios were used as mixed oxygen carriers.The simulation results showed that the gasification temperature of biomass with different mixed oxygen carriers had the same equilibrium trend products.It could be seen from the results of product distribution that the influence of the mixing ratio of Bi_(2)O_(3)and Sb_(2)O_(3)on gas product distribution could be neglected.These results could provide simulation reference and data basis for subsequent research on liquid chemical looping gasification.Wei Guo Bo Zhang Jie Zhang Zhiqiang Wu Yaowu Li Bolun Yang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,9:0
14Coordinated Optimization of Multi-energy Generation Systems Considering the Health Damages of Coal-fired Pollutant Dispersion显示文摘Pollutants emitted from coal-fired power plants lead to the deterioration of air quality in developing countries,and contribute to both mortality and morbidity.To improve air quality from power generation,new dispatch strategies incorporated with air pollution dispersion models should be considered.This paper takes into account the impact of meteorological variations on spatio-temporal dispersion of pollutants.Depending on the coal-fired pollutant concentration estimated by the Gaussian plume dispersion model,exposure-response functions are used to quantify the resulting health effects.Furthermore,the corresponding economic costs of health damages are incorporated to penalize the power dispatch.Considering generation costs and economic costs of health damages,this paper formulates a twostage stochastic optimization model of a multi-energy generation system including coal units,gas units,and photovoltaic stations.Finally,numerical studies based on a modified IEEE 14-node system are performed for illustration and validation.Suhua Lou Yinhao Yang Yanjie Liang Yaowu Wu 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,6:0
