1The seasonal variations of δ^(18)O , Cl^- , Na^+ ,NO_3^- and Ca^(2+) in the snow and firn recovered from Princess Elizabeth Land, Antarctica显示文摘Snow and firn samples recovered from two snow pits (2.5 and 4.5m deep) and one 50-m firn core along the route of the 1996/1997 Chinese First Antarctic Inland Traverse Expedition in Princess Elizabeth Land, East Antarctica, have been measured for chemical composition and oxygen isotope ratio. 2Effects of Sampling Conditions on Composition and Emission Characteristics of Volatile Organic Compounds in Process Units from Different Refineries显示文摘This study investigates the effects of sampling conditions on volatile organic compound(VOC)compositions including different flow restrictors,SUMMA volumes,sampling heights,and wind speeds.Results show that at the six sampling heights the concentrations of main VOC species were slightly different,while the wind speed had a greater impact on the VOC composition of source profiles.With the increase of wind speed,the weighted percentage of high-carbon aromatic hydrocarbons was higher.Besides,there was an extremely different profile between the normal production and shutdown conditions of the delayed coking unit.To compare the emission characteristics of VOCs in various process units of the S and the C refineries,the samples were collected from the catalytic cracking unit,the continuous catalytic reforming unit,and the delayed coking unit.In the continuous catalytic reforming unit,C3-C5 alkanes and low-carbon aromatic hydrocarbons were the main components collected from the S and the C refineries,accounting for 67.1%and 34.9%,respectively.For the delayed coking unit,the total weighted percentage of high carbon C6-C12 alkanes was significantly higher than other units in the S and the C refineries,accounting for 30.5%and 24.4%,respectively.In the catalytic cracking unit,the low-carbon C2-C5 alkanes were abundant,and the weighted percentage of propylene was higher.The emission characteristics obtained were consistent with the processing technology of production units.The results indicate that the VOC emission characteristics from the same production unit in different refineries have similarities and significant differences which are related to the technological process.The emission characteristics of VOCs could provide the data support for source apportionment work in the production units.Feng Yunxia Xiao Anshan Li Bo Dong Rui Jia Runzhong Li Mingjun 2020China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,3:3
3Theoretical and Experimental Research on Error Analysis and Optimization of Tool Path in Fabricating Aspheric Compound Eyes by Precision Micro Milling显示文摘Structure design and fabricating methods of three-dimensional(3D)artificial spherical compound eyes have been researched by many scholars.Micro-nano optical manufacturing is mostly used to process 3D artificial compound eyes.However,spherical optical compound eyes are less at optical performance than the eyes of insects,and it is difficult to further improve the imaging quality of compound eyes by means of micro-nano optical manufacturing.In this research,nonhomogeneous aspheric compound eyes(ACEs)are designed and fabricated.The nonhomogeneous aspheric structure is applied to calibrate the spherical aberration.Micro milling with advantages in processing three-dimensional micro structures is adopted to manufacture ACEs.In order to obtain ACEs with high imaging quality,the tool paths are optimized by analyzing the influence factors consisting of interpolation allowable error,scallop height and tool path pattern.In the experiments,two kinds of ACEs are manufactured by micro-milling with different too path patterns and cutting parameter on the miniature precision five-axis milling machine tool.The experimental results indicate that the ACEs of high surface quality can be achieved by circularly milling small micro-lens individually with changeable cutting depth.A prototype of the aspheric compound eye(ACE)with surface roughness(Ra)below 0.12?m is obtained with good imaging performance.This research ameliorates the imaging quality of 3D artificial compound eyes,and the proposed method of micro-milling can improve surface processing quality of compound eyes.CHEN Mingjun XIAO Yong TIAN Wenlan WU Chunya CHU Xin 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,3:3
4Research on the influence of machining introduced sub-surface defects and residue stress upon the mechanical properties of single crystal copper显示文摘Large scale molecular dynamics simulations of nanomachining and stretching of single crystal copper are performed to analyze the machining process’ influence on the material’s mechanical properties. The simulation results show that the machining process will introduce interfacial defects inside the specimen and enhance the compressive stress beneath the surface. Gener- ally speaking, interfacial defects lead to the decrease of the strength limit, while residue compressive stress can enhance the elastic limit and even the strength limit. Various machining parameters are adopted to investigate their influence on the me- chanical behavior of machined specimen. Lower cutting speed and smaller cutting depth lead to less defects and greater residue compressive stress, which brings about better mechanical properties. The elastic limit increases by 36.8% under the cutting depth of 0.73 nm and decreases by 21.1% under the cutting depth of 1.46 nm. 5All-optical controlled-NOT logic gate achieving directional asymmetric transmission based on metasurface doublet显示文摘Optical logic gates play important roles in all-optical logic circuits,which lie at the heart of the next-generation optical computing technology.However,the intrinsic contradiction between compactness and robustness hinders the development in this field.Here,we propose a simple design principle that can possess multiple-input-output states according to the incident circular polarization and direction based on the metasurface doublet,which enables controlled-NOT logic gates in infrared region.Therefore,the directional asymmetric electromagnetic transmission can be achieved.As a proof of concept,a spin-dependent Janus metasurface is designed and experimentally verified that four distinct images corresponding to four input states can be captured in the far-field.In addition,since the design method is derived from geometric optics,it can be easily applied to other spectra.We believe that the proposed metasurface doublet may empower many potential applications in chiral imaging,chiroptical spectroscopy and optical computing.Yijia Huang Tianxiao Xiao Shuai Chen Zhengwei Xie Jie Zheng Jianqi Zhu Yarong Su Weidong Chen Ke Liu Mingjun Tang Peter Müller-Buschbaum Ling Li 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,7:2

13250 years of accumulation, oxygen isotope and chemical records in a firn core from Princess Elizabeth Land, East Antarctica显示文摘A 51.85-m firn core collected from site DT001 (accumulation rate 127 kgm-2a-1, mean annual temperature -33.1 oC) on Princess Elizabeth Land, East Antarctica, during the 1996-97 Chinese First Antarctic Inland Expedition has been analyzed for chemical composition and oxygen isotope ratio. A comparison between the seasonal variations of major ions was carried out in order to reduce the dating uncertainty, using the volcanic markers as time constrains. A deposition period of 251 years was determined. The calculated accumulation rates display an increasing trend before 1820, while after 1820, the trend of the accumulation is not obvious. Overall, temperature change in the region shows a slight increasing trend over the past 250 years. But, notably, a temperature decline of -2 oC is observed from 1860 to the present. This feature, at odds with the warming trend over the past century recorded in both hemispheres, likely reflects a regional characteristic related to the lack of a high latitude/low latitude link in the Southern Hemisphere circulation patterns. The results of the glaciochemical records of the firn core show that the mean concentrations of Cl-, Na+ and Mg2+ are similar to those reported from other sites in East Antarctica. However, the mean concentration of Ca2+ is much higher than that reported from other regions, suggesting the influence of the strong local terrestrial sources in Princess Elizabeth Land. 15Solvent transport dynamics and its effect on evolution of mechanical properties of nitrocellulose(NC)-based propellants under hot-air drying process显示文摘Appropriate drying process with optimized controlling of drying parameters plays a vital role in the improvement of the quality and performance of propellant products.However,few research on solvent transport dynamics within NC-based propellants was reported,and its effect on the evolution of mechanical properties was not interpreted yet.This study is conducted to gain a comprehensive understanding of hot-air drying for NC-based propellants and clarify the effect of temperature on solvent transport behavior and further the change of mechanical properties during drying.The drying kinetic curves show the drying time required is decreased but the steady solvent content is increased and the drying rate is obviously increased with the increase of hot-air temperatures,indicating hot-air temperatures have a significant effect on drying kinetics.A modified drying model was established,and results show it is more appropriate to describe solvent transport behavior within NC-based propellants.Moreover,two linear equations were established to exhibit the relationship between solvent content and its effect on the change of tensile properties,and the decrease of residual solvent content causes an obvious increase of tensile strength and tensile modulus of propellant products,indicating its mechanical properties can be partly improved by adjustment of residual solvent content.The outcomes can be used to clarify solvent transport mechanisms and optimize drying process parameters of double-based gun propellants.Enfa Fu Mingjun Yi Qianling Liu Zhenggang Xiao 2024Defence Technology(防务技术)2024,32,2:0
16Effect of laser-discrete-quenching on bonding properties of electroplated grinding wheel with AISI 1045 steel substrate and nickel bond显示文摘To improve the bonding strength between the nickel bond and the hub of the electroplated diamond grinding wheel,a hybrid technique was proposed to combine laser prequenching steel substrate and post-electroplating nickel.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed technique,AISI 1045 substrate was nickel-coated.The bonding properties between the electroplated nickel coating and substrate with or without laser-discrete-quenching were discussed comparatively by scratch,indentation,and thermal shock tests.The results show that the prequenching treatment leads to phase transformation of AISI 1045 microstructure from the mixed pearlite and ferrite phases into the martensitic phase.Since the martensitic phase is characterized as a high corrosion resistance,the interface of substrate/coating is smooth and flat in the prequenched zone,and the coating is bonded well with the steel substrate.In contrast to the steel substrate without pre-quenching treatment,the proposed technique significantly enhanced the bonding strengths of the electroplated nickel-coating.On one hand,the average hardness of electroplated nickel-coating on the laser pre-quenched zone is increased by 18.7%,and the scratch depth with the same load become narrower and shallower.On the other hand,the coefficient of friction(CoF)and the vibration amplitude are reduced,and the coating is bonded effectively with the substrate to inhibit the crack initialization at the interface.This prevents effectively the coating from peeling off and improves significantly the thermal shock resistance property.Cong MAO Peihao CAI Yongle HU Yujie ZHONG Jishuang WEI Zhuming BI Yifeng JIANG Linfeng XIAO Mingjun ZHANG 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,6:0

18Privacy-Preserving Strategyproof Auction Mechanisms for Resource Allocation显示文摘In recent years, auction theory has been extensively studied and many state-of-the-art solutions have been proposed aiming at allocating scarce resources. However, most of these studies assume that the auctioneer is always trustworthy in the sealed-bid auctions, which is not always true in a more realistic scenario. Besides the privacy-preserving issue, the performance guarantee of social efficiency maximization is also crucial for auction mechanism design. In this paper, we study the auction mechanisms that consider the above two aspects. We discuss two multi-unit auction models: the identical multiple-items auction and the distinct multiple-items auction.Since the problem of determining a multi-unit auction mechanism that can maximize its social efficiency is NPhard, we design a series of nearly optimal multi-unit auction mechanisms for the proposed models. We prove that the proposed auction mechanisms are strategyproof. Moreover, we also prove that the privacy of bid value from each bidder can be preserved in the auction mechanisms. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work on the strategyproof multi-unit auction mechanisms that simultaneously consider privacy preservation and social efficiency maximization. 19Defect engineering of W^(6+)-doped NiO for high-performance black smart windows显示文摘In this report,W^(6+)doping as a defect engineering strategy has been proposed to improve the electrochromic properties of NiO film.Further research was conducted to explore the electrochromic properties and the modified mechanism of W-doped NiO film.Compared to the pure NiO,W-doped NiO film exhibits improved electrochromic properties with significant optical modulation(61.56%at 550 nm),fast switching speed(4.42 s/1.40 s for coloring/bleaching),high coloration efficiency(45.41 cm^(2)·C-1)and outstanding cycling stability(no significant attenuation after 2000 cycles)in Li-based electrolytes.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations combined with the experimental results indicate that the improved electrochromic properties were due to enhanced the electronic conductivity and ion conductivity after the introduction of W^(6+).The charge capacity of W-doped NiO has also been improved,and it can function with WO_(3) to achieve a high performance black electrochromic smart window(ECSW)by balancing charge.This work could advance the fundamental understanding of defect engineering as an effective strategy to boost the electrochromic properties of NiO anodic material,manifesting a significant development as a candidate counter electrode in high-performance black smart windows.Yingjun Xiao Xiang Zhang Dukang Yan Jianbo Deng Mingjun Chen Hulin Zhang Wenhai Sun Jiupeng Zhao Yao Li 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
