1Variations of mitochondrial D-loop region plus downstream gene 1 2S rRNA-tRNA^(phe) and gastric carcinomas显示文摘AIM: To explore the instabilities, polymorphisms and other variations of mitochondrial D-loop region and downstream gene 12S rRNA-tRNAPhe in gastric cancers, and to study their relationship with gastric cancer.METHODS: Three adjacent regions (D-loop, tRNAphe and 12S rRNA) were detected for instabilities, polymorphisms and other variations via PCR amplification followed by direct DNA sequencing in 22 matched gastric cancerous tissues and para-cancerous normal tissues.RESULTS: PolyC or (CA)n instabilities were detected in 13/22(59.1%) gastric cancers and 9/22(40.9 %) in the control (P>0.05). There existed 2/12(16.7%) and 6/10(60%)alterations of 12S rR NA-tRNAphe in well differentiated gastric cancers and poorly differentiated ones, respectively(P0.05).Some new variations were found, among which np 318 and np 321 C-T transitions in D-loop region were two of the five bases for H-strand replication primer. Np 523 AC-deletion and np 527 C-T transition occurred at mtTF1 binding site (mtTFBS), which were associated with the transcription of downstream mitochondrial genome. Seven samples showed the np 16 182 polyC instabilities, five of which simultaneously showed np 16 189 T-C transitions.CONCLUSION: There is no statistic significance of instabilities and polymorphisms in mitochondrial D-loop region between gastric cancerous and para-cancerous normal tissues, which suggests that the instability might relate to heredity or be dependent on aging. There is asignificant correlation between differentiation degree of gastric cancer and variant frequencies of 12S rRNA-tRNAphe. The poorly differentiated gastric cancers are more prone to 12S rRNAtRNAphe variations, or gastric cancers with 12S rRNA-tRNAphe variations are more likely to be poorly differentiated, np 16189 T-C transition may be one of the important reasons for polyC instability in gastric cancer.Cheng-BoHan FanLi Yu-JieZhao Jia-MingMa Dong-YingWu Yu-KuiZhang YanXin 2003World Journal of Gastroenterology2003,9,9:20
2Cloud model-based analysis of regional sustainable water resource utilization schemes显示文摘Given the adverse effects of current water shortages,low utilization and imbalance between the supply and demand,and other status quo problems relating to social economic development,the construction industry and agriculture,a cloud model was applied to a water resource system using five sustainable water resource utilization schemes for Kiamusze,Heilongjiang Province,as an example.This research changes the qualitative description of the concept language into a quantitative analysis of an evaluation indicator.A cloud model-based analytical method for regional sustainable water resource utilization schemes was proposed,and the sustainable grades of the water resources were calculated.The research results showed that,in addition to the natural continuation of such schemes,the development trends of four new schemes achieved the sustainable utilization of water resources,and thus,the sustainable water resource utilization was optimized.However,when the open-source,throttle,comprehensive and coordination schemes were subjected to the optimum applicability analysis,based on the limiting factors in different periods,resource availability and long-term development,decision-making regarding the best solution in different periods better ensures sustainable development in Kiamusze.The research results provide a significant theoretical basis for the formulation of scientific and reasonable sustainable water resource utilization strategies in Kiamusze.Fu Qiang Meng Fanxiang Li Tianxiao Liu Dong Gong Fanli Amgad Osman Li Yutong 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5:4
3The Syntax, Semantics and Pragmatics of 'lian…dou'显示文摘This article treats the chunk‘lian…dou’an a complex conjunction on the ground that the sentence that follows the sentence in which the chunk ‘lian…dou’occurs is often incomplete.The interpretation of the incomplete sentence,or the sentence fragment,calls for the restoration of the elided constituents by reconstruction.Moreover,the proposition expressed by the sentence fragment is entailed by the proposition expressed by the sentence in which the chunk‘lian…dou’occurs.Following Montague’s rule-to-rule hypothesis,we can take the entailment inherent in the whole construction as the syntactic reflex in its semantics.Since the entailment is obviously induced by the chunk‘lian…dou’,we treat it as a complex conjunction.Section 1 demonstrates that the sentence that follows the sentence in which the chunk‘lian…dou’occurs is not independent and in many ways is similar to the ‘ruguo…(name)’construction.Section 2 develops a scalar model based on Fillmore et al (1988)for the semantic interpretation of the construction,and gives an account of a variety of ‘lian…dou’sentences.Section 3 addresses the pragmatic aspect of the construction.It also argues that the first proposition conjoined by ‘lian…dou’itself has the function of simultaneously meeting the Gricean Maxims of Relevance,Quality and Quantity,thus making the verbalization of the second proposition unnecessary.方立 FanLi 2002暨南大学华文学院学报2002,,4:2
4Research and development of a novel subunit vaccine for the currently circulating pseudorabies virus variant in China显示文摘Pseudorabies(PR)is a devastating viral disease which leads to fatal encephalitis and respiratory disorders in pigs.Commercial gE-deleted live pseudorabies virus(PRV)vaccine has been widely used to control this disease in China.However,the new-emerging variants of PRV compromises the protection provided by current vaccines and lead to the outbreak of PR in vaccinated pig herds.Several killed and live vaccine candidates based on current PRV variants have been reported to be effective to control the disease.A subunit vaccine based on gB protein,one major PRV glycoprotein which elicits strong humoral and cellular immune responses,however,was never evaluated for protection against the current circulating PRV variants.In this study,full-length PRV gB protein was successfully expressed in baculovirus/insect cells in the soluble format and was tested on 3-week-old piglets as a subunit vaccine.Compared with unvaccinated pigs,the gB-vaccinated pigs developed specific antibody-mediated responses and were protected from the virulent PRV HN1201 challenge.All vaccinated pigs survived without showing any PRV-specific respiratory and neurological signs,but all unvaccinated pigs died within 7 days after HN1201 challenge.Hence,this novel gB-based vaccine could be applied as an effective subunit vaccine to control PRV variant in China.Yuzhou WANG Tongyan WANG He YAN Fanli YANG Linghua GUO Qingyuan YANG Xule HU Feifei TAN Yan XIAO Xiangdong LI Kegong TIAN 2015Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2015,2,3:2

16Study on resonance frequency of thermoacoustic resonance pipes显示文摘For calculating the resonance frequency of practical resonance pipes more precisely, two methods are presented, which are the method of acoustic pressure simulation and the method of minimum point of standing wave. Both methods are based on the theoretical simulation of the acoustic pressure distribution in the pipe and the relation between the minimum point position of the standing wave and the acoustic impedances of the pipe terminations. It is demonstrated that both methods can calculate the resonance frequency of a pipe more precisely by considering the effect of the acoustic resistances of both terminations of the pipe. Therefore both methods presented are more useful in acoustic research fields in which the resonance frequency of a pipe must be controlled strictly. In addition, both methods can get the same calculation results despite of their different ways.
