| 1 | Defects and failure types of solid insulation in gas‐insulated switchgear:In situ study and case analysis显示文摘The gas‐insulated switchgear(GIS)has been widely used in modern ultra‐high voltage systems.However,once it fails,its fully enclosed feature brings challenges in its diagnosis and maintenance.As the failure rate of GIS due to insulator failure has been increasing in recent years,it is necessary and important to understand the commonly existing defects presented in the insulator.First,the manufacturing process of GIS insulators is intro-duced here.The defect types commonly existing in the insulator are categorised.The failure of GIS due to insulator defects that occurred in recent years are reviewed and discussed.The content in this study is useful for engineers and scientists to study on the GIS solid insulation defects and their failure mechanisms. | Yunqi Xing Zhiwen Wang Lin Liu Yuan Xu Yang Yang Shan Liu Fusheng Zhou Shun He Chuanyang Li | 2022 | High Voltage2022,7,1: | 4 |

| 3 | Comparison of Some Vegetation Indices in Seasonal Information显示文摘With the development of vegetation indices, the reflection capability of vegetation indices to the state of vegetation has been improved in various degrees. Especially, the vegetation index of Terra/MODIS-EVI is believed to have the highest sensitivity to the seasonality of vegetation. This study compares the reflection susceptibility of three vegetation indices (NOAA/AVHRR-NDVI, Terra/MODIS-NDVI and Terra/MODIS-EVI) to the seasonal variations of vegetation in the mid-south of Yunnan Province of China. It has been found that Terra/MODIS-EVI does best in the elimination of external disturbance. Firstly, it obviously improves the linear relationship with vegetation cover degree, especially in the high vegetation coverage area. Secondly, it avoids the emergence of vegetation index saturation. Thirdly, it reduces the environmental influence including both effects of atmosphere and soil. | 5 | Investigation of β-Ga2O3 films and β-Ga2O3/GaN heterostructures grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition显示文摘In this work,(-201)β-Ga2O3 films are grown on GaN substrate by metal organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD).It is revealed that theβ-Ga2O3 film grown on GaN possesses superior crystal quality,material homogeneity and surface morphology than the results of common heteroepitaxialβ-Ga2O3 film based on sapphire substrate.Further,the relevance between the crystal quality of epitaxialβ-Ga2O3 film and theβ-Ga2O3/GaN interface behavior is investigated.Transmission electron microscopy result indicates that the interface atom refactoring phenomenon is beneficial to relieve the mismatch strain and improve the crystal quality of subsequentβ-Ga2O3 film.Moreover,the energy band structure ofβ-Ga2O3/GaN heterostructure grown by MOCVD is investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and a large conduction band offset of 0.89 eV is obtained.The results in this work not only convincingly demonstrate the advantages ofβ-Ga2O3 films grown on GaN substrate,but also show the great application potential of MOCVDβ-Ga2O3/GaN heterostructures in microelectronic applications. | YaChao Zhang YiFan Li ZhiZhe Wang Rui Guo ShengRui Xu ChuanYang Liu ShengLei Zhao JinCheng Zhang Yue Hao | 2020 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,11: | 2 |
| 6 | Significant enhancement in the electrical conductance properties of ethylene propylene diene monomer using the nano‐SiO_(2) particles显示文摘To study the effect of nano‐silica particles on the conductivity characteristics of ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM)insulation,EPDM nanocomposites with different mass fractions of nano silica were prepared via the melt‐blending method.Scanning electron microscopy was used to analyze the dispersion of nanoparticles in EPDM.Based on the Fourier‐transform infrared spectrum,the bonding properties between the nanoparticles and EPDM were analyzed.The steady‐state current at 30-100°C and 1-20 kV/mm was measured.Moreover,the conductivity characteristic was analyzed.The experimental results show that as the content of nano‐silica increases,the electrical conductivity of EPDM nanocomposite as well as the threshold field strength gradually decreases.Samples with a small number of nanoparticles will increase the activation energy of the carrier conductivity,and the interface region effect introduced by nanoparticles will reduce the carrier mobility and concentration,resulting in a lower conductivity.Comparing the calculated value of the dielectric constant with the measured value can conclude that the high‐field conductance process is a combination of the electrode effect and the body effect,which in this case,Schottky effect dominates. | Chunyu Xu Ruixue Zhao Chuanyang Li Yuanyuan Li Guodong Zhang Tohid Shahsavarian Mengqiang Yuan Zhipeng Lei | 2021 | High Voltage2021,6,3: | 2 |
