1Simultaneous in-situ determination of U-Pb age and trace elements in zircon by LA-ICP-MS in 20 μm spot size显示文摘Simultaneous in-situ determination of U-Pb ages and 20 trace elements of three international zircon standards(91500,GJ1 and TEMORA 1) and one laboratory zircon standard(SK10-2) separated from Cenozoic fine-grained gabbro was carried out on quadrupole ICP-MS equipped with 193 nm excimer laser in 20 μm spot size. The weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages of 91500,GJ1 and TEMORA 1 are 1064.4±4.8 Ma(2σ ),603.2±2.4 Ma(2σ ) and 418.2±2.4 Ma(2σ ),respectively. The relative standard de-viations(RSDs) of 206Pb/238U ages(2σ ) are less than 2.2% for single measurements and 0.6% for weighted means. The obtained weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages of three standard zircons agree with the recommended values within 2σ error. The weighted mean 206Pb/238U age of SK10-2 is 31.42±0.25 Ma(2σ ) and the RSDs of 206Pb/238U ages(2σ ) are between 2.4% and 5.7% for single measurements and less than 0.8% for weighted mean. The obtained weighted mean 206Pb/238U age is in good agreement with the age obtained by Yuan(2004). Trace element concentrations of NIST612 and NIST614 obtained under the same LA-ICP-MS operating conditions agree with the recommended values within analytical error. 2Reappraisement and refinement of zircon U-Pb isotope and trace element analyses by LA-ICP-MS显示文摘A protocol was established for simultaneous measurements of zircon U-Pb ages and trace elements by LA-ICP-MS at spot sizes of 16 32 μm.This was accomplished by introducing N 2 into ICP to increase the sensitivity.The obtained U-Pb ages for zircon standards GJ-1,TEMORA and SK10-2 are consistent with the preferred values within about 1% uncertainty (2σ) by simple external calibration against zircon standard 91500.Different data reduction softwares could yield different uncertainties for calculation of U-Pb ages.The commercially available program GLITTER4.4 could apply an improper uncertainty calculation strategy,but it may yield artificial high precisions for single analyses.Our trace element analyses indicate that Si is not an ideal internal standard for zircon when calibrated against the NIST glasses.Calibration against the NIST glasses using Si as an internal standard,a systematic deviation of 10% 30% was found for most trace elements including Zr.However,the trace element compositions of zircon can be accurately measured by calibration against multiple reference materials with natural compositions (e.g.,BCR-2G,BHVO-2G and BIR-1G),or calibration against NIST SRM 610 and using Zr as an internal standard.Analyses of two pieces of GJ-1 demonstrate that it is relatively homogenous for most trace elements (except for Ti).LIU YongSheng HU ZhaoChu ZONG KeQing GAO ChangGui GAO Shan XU Juan CHEN HaiHong 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,15:1011

4Determination of U-Pb age and rare earth element concentrations of zircons from Cenozoic intrusions in northeastern China by laser ablation ICP-MS显示文摘Using the in situ zircon U-Pb dating method of LA-ICPMS, we analyzed the 31 Ma old SHRIMP U-Pb age of the Yongsheng nepheline syenite from southern Jilin Province under different spot sizes. The obtained ages are comparable with that of SHRIMP in both accuracy and precision. The age is also identical to that of the Yinmawanshan gabbro from the Liaodong Peninsula within error. Both the Yongsheng nepheline syenite and the Yinmawanshan gabbro represent the youngest known exposed intrusions in northeastern and even eastern China. The results indicate the Eocene mantle-derived magmatic underplating, and the rapid crustal uplifting of this region since 30 Ma. 6Delamination and destruction of the North China Craton显示文摘This article presents an overview on recent developments in studies of chemical and physical processes of lithospheric delamination with respect to destruction of the North China Craton. It is emphasized that the pyroxenite source resulting from interaction between eclogite-derived melt and peridotite is a direct consequence of delamination. The pyroxenite source thus formed has unique mineralogical and geochemical features, which characterize Mesozoic basalts of the North China Craton. Melt-peridotite interaction played an important role in refertilization of cratonic lithospheric mantle, leading to density increase, weakening and final destabilization of the North China Craton. 7Panax notogiseng saponin inhibits ischemia-induced apoptosis by activating PI3K/Akt signal pathway in cardiomyocytes显示文摘The panax notoginseng saponin(PNS) had been clinically used for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and stroke in China.It had been demonstrated that PNS could protect cardiomyocytes from injury induced by ischemi- a,but the underlying molecular mechanisms of this protective effect were still unclear.This study was aimed to investigate the protective effect and molecular mechanisms of PNS on apoptosis in H9c2 cells in vitro and rat myocardial ischemia injury model in vivo.Annexin-V/PI assay shew that PNS could protect H9c2 cells from apoptosis induced by serum, glucose and oxygen deprivation(SGOD) in a dose-dependent manner.However,the anti-apoptotic effect of PNS was reversed by LY294002,a specific PI3K inhibitor.This antiapoptotic effect of PNS was confirmed by JC-1,a specific probe of mitochondrial membrane potential staining.PNS could significantly increase phos-Akt in H9c2 cells by Western blot assays and its effect could be inhibited by LY294002.Furthermore,PNS could improve ischemic-induced left ventricular function as reflected by EF,LVDd and LVDs.PNS could also inhibited cellular apoptosis in myocardial tissues in ischemic rats by TUNEL assay.PNS administration also increased the expression of phos-Akt in rat ischemic myocardial tissues.These results suggested that PNS could protect myocardial cells from apoptosis induced by ischemia in vitro model and in vivo model through activating-PI3K/Akt signal pathway which may be meaningful for further understanding the molecular mechanisms of cardiac protection of PNS.And the results might be useful in treatment of myocardial ischemia in future.YANG Min,CHEN Shao-Xian,LIU Ju-Li,LIU Xiao-Ying,FU Yong-Heng,ZHANGMeng-zhen,LIN Qiu-Xiong,ZHU Jie-Ning, SHAN Zhi-Xin,YU Xi-yong (Medical Research Center,Guangdong General Hospital, Guangdong Academy of Medical Sciences,Guangzhou 510100,China) 2011岭南心血管病杂志2011,17,S1:47
8Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon in urban soil from Beijing, China显示文摘Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (EPA-PAHs) in the urban surface soils from Beijing were determined using gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC-MS). It is significantly complementary for understanding the PAHs pollution in soil of integrated Beijing city on the basis of the information known in the outskirts. The total concentration of 16 EPA-PAH was from 0.467 to 5.470 ?滋g/g and was described by the contour map. Compound profiles presented that the 4-, 5- and 6-ring PAHs were major compositions. The correlation analysis showed that PAHs have the similar source in the most sampling sites and BaP might be considered as the indicator of PAHs. Characteristic ratios of anthracene (An)/(An+ phenanthrene (Phe)), fluoranthene (Flu)/(Flu+ pyrene (Pyr)) and benzo[a]pyrene (BaP)/benzo[g,h,i]perylene (BghiP) indicated that the PAHs pollutants probably mainly originated from the coal combustion and it was not negligible from vehicular emission. 10Stress changes on major faults caused by 2013 Lushan earthquake and its relationship with 2008 Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘On April 20, 2013, an Ms7.0 earthquake occurred in Ya'an-Lushan region, Sichuan Province, China, killing and injuring morethan one thousand people. Therefore, it is critical to outline the areas with potential aftershocks before reconstruction andre-settlement as to avoid future disasters. Based on the elastic dislocation theory and multi-layered lithospheric model, we calculate the co-and post-seismic stress changes caused by the Wenchuan and Lushan earthquakes to discuss the relationshipbetween Mw7.9 Wenchuan earthquake and Ms7.0 Lushan earthquake, the influences on the distribution of aftershock caused bythe Lushan earthquake, and the stress changes on major faults in this region. It is shown that the Coulomb failure stress increment on the hypocenter of Lushan earthquake caused by the Wenchuan earthquake is about 0.0037-0.0113 MPa. And the possible maximum value (0.0113 MPa) is larger than the threshold of stress triggering. Therefore, the occurrence of Lushanearthquake is probably effectively promoted by the Wenchuan earthquake. The aftershock distribution is well explained by theco-seismic stress changes of Lushan earthquake. By the two ends of the rupture of Lushan earthquake with increased Coulombfailure stress, a lack of aftershock recordings indicates the high seismic hazard. 11Applications of LA-ICP-MS in the elemental analyses of geological samples显示文摘Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(LA-ICP-MS),which is a rapidly developing analytical technique for the analyses of trace elements and isotopes,plays an important role in advancing the study of Earth science,especially with respect to micro-geochemistry.This article reviews the application of LA-ICP-MS in the elemental analysis of solid geological samples.Although LA-ICP-MS has been widely used in the spatial resolution analysis of element compositions and rapid bulk analysis of whole-rock and soil samples,the analysis accuracy is restricted by numerous factors,including the instrumental conditions,the elemental fractionation and matrix effects,the lack of sufficient matrix-matched reference materials,and the strategies for quantitative calibration and sensitivity drift correction.According to the type of samples and the analyte elements,the analysis accuracy can be improved through the optimization of instrument conditions and the adoption of suitable correction strategies and reference materials.LIU YongSheng HU ZhaoChu LI Ming GAO Shan 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,32:42

14AXL is a candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 that promotes infection of pulmonary and bronchial epithelial cells显示文摘The current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic presents a global public health challenge.The viral pathogen responsible,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),binds to the host receptor ACE2 through its spike(S)glycoprotein,which mediates membrane fusion and viral entry.Although the role of ACE2 as a receptor for SARS-CoV-2 is clear,studies have shown that ACE2 expression is extremely low in various human tissues,especially in the respiratory tract.Thus,other host receptors and/or co-receptors that promote the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into cells of the respiratory system may exist.In this study,we found that the tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO(AXL)specifically interacts with the N-terminal domain of SARS-CoV-2 S.Using both a SARS-CoV-2 virus pseudotype and authentic SARS-CoV-2,we found that overexpression of AXL in HEK293T cells promotes SARS-CoV-2 entry as efficiently as overexpression of ACE2,while knocking out AXL significantly reduces SARS-CoV-2 infection in HI 299 pulmonary cells and in human primary lung epithelial cells.Soluble human recombinant AXL blocks SARS-CoV-2 infection in cells expressing high levels of AXL.The AXL expression level is well correlated with SARS-CoV-2 S level in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid cells from COVID-19 patients.Taken together,our findings suggest that AXL is a novel candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 which may play an important role in promoting viral infection of the human respiratory system and indicate that it is a potential target for future clinical intervention strategies.Shuai Wang Zongyang Qiu Yingnan Hou Xiya Deng Wei Xu Tingting Zheng Peihan Wu Shaofang Xie Weixiang Bian Chong Zhang Zewei Sun Kunpeng Liu Chao Shan Aifu Lin Shibo Jiang Youhua Xie Qiang Zhou Lu Lu Jing Huang Xu Li 2021Cell Research2021,31,2:39

16Temporal and spatial variation of nitrogen and phosphorus and eutrophication assessment for a typical arid river - Fuyang River in northern China显示文摘Based on water quality surveys over 2 years(July to December,in 2014 and 2015) in a typical arid river in northern China the Xingtai segment of the Fuyang River basin — the variation of nitrogen(N) and phosphorus(P) was analyzed.The extent of water eutrophication of this segment was also assessed using a universal index formula for eutrophic evaluation and a logarithmic power function.The results showed that the average concentration of total N(TN) was 27.2 mg/L(NH_3-N,63.5%),total P(TP) was 2.0 mg/L(solution reactive phosphorus,68.8%).Temporal and spatial variations of N and P in this segment were observed.Concentrations of N and P in the arid season were higher than those in the rainy season.Spatially,the N and P concentrations followed the same trend;i.e.,higher in the city segment than in the suburbs,and decreasing along the river.The water eutrophication in the studied segment reached extremely high levels at all times(eutrophication index ≥76.3).Spatially,its trend was clearly linked with N and P.Water shortage,pollution accumulation and a weak self-purification function are the main reasons for the prominent eutrophication in this segment.Wenqiang Zhang Xin Jin Dong Liu Chao Lang Baoqing Shan 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,5:30
17QTL Analysis of Major Agronomic Traits in Soybean显示文摘Soybean is a main crop,and most agronomic traits of soybean are quantitative;therefore,there is very important studying and applying value to locating these traits.A F 2:10 RIL population containing 154 lines,derived from the cross between Charleston as female and Dongnong 594 as male parent,were used in this experiment.A genetic linkage map was constructed with 164 SSR primers,which were screened with the two parents and amplified on the 154 lines.12 agronomic traits different between the two parents were investigated,and QTLs of all the traits were analyzed using the software Windows QTL Cartographer V2.0.The agronomic traits included quality traits:protein content,oil content,and content of protein and oil;yield traits:pods per plant,seed weight per plant,and 100 seeds weight;and other agronomic traits: plant height,days to maturity,branches,nod number in main stem,average leaf length,and average leaf width.The results showed that 68 QTLs in total were found for the 12 agronomic traits.The number of QTLs per trait varied from 3 for the average leaf width to 11 for 100 seeds weight and plant height,and was 5.8 on average.Good accordance was seen in many QTLs between the results of this study and the results obtained by other similar studies;therefore,these QTLs may be valuable for molecular marker assistant selection in soybean.In this study,68 major QTLs of 12 important traits of soybean were analyzed.CHEN Qing-shan ZHANG Zhong-chen LIU Chun-yan XIN Da-wei QIU Hong-mei SHAN Da-peng SHAN Cai-yun HU Guo-hua 2007Agricultural Sciences in China2007,6,4:27
18Morphological study on colonic pathology in ulcerative colitis treated by moxibustion显示文摘AIM To observe the therapeutic effect ofmoxibustion on ulcerative colitis and itsinfluence on the colonic mucosal morphology.METHODS Forty-six patients with ulcerativecolitis were randomly divided into themoxibustion with herbal medicine underneathgroup and the western medicine group.Thirtypatients were treated with the abovemoxibustion and 16 patients with Salicylayefapyridine(SASP).The colonic mucosa of 13patients in the moxibustion group was observedby colonoscopy before and after the treatment.Mucin was also analyzed by H.E and AB-PASstaining.RESULTS Seventeen patients were clinicallycured,12 were improved and 1 unchanged in themoxibustion group.In the control group,5patients were clinically cured,7 improved and 4unchanged.Thirteen patients with active UCwere taken as the subjects for histopathologicanalysis in this study.The colonic mucosallesions were remarkably improved and thecharacteristic of the mucin also changed.Inmost sections,the chronic inflammation ofmucosa was geatly ameliorated(P<0.01).Theinflammatory cell infiltratation much decreased and neutrophils,disapeared in most sections(P<0.001).The goblet cells significantlyincreased(P<0.001);crypt paracrypt abscessor mucosal ulceration was seen(P<0.001).CONCLUSION The rate of cure of ulcerative colitis by moxibustion with herbal medicine beneath is superior to that by SASP.
