3Effect of naringenin in Qianggu capsule on population pharmacokinetics in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To characterize naringenin(NAR) population pharmacokinetics(PPK) in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis.METHODS:Ninety-eight female patients with primary osteoporosis from the Jingshan,Beixinqiao,Jiaodaokou,Chaoyangmen,and Donghuamen communities in Beijing,China,aged 40 to 80 years,received oral Qianggu capsules(250 mg).Blood samples were collected before and at 0.5,1,2,3,4,6,8,10,12,and 24 h after administration.The concentration of NAR in the blood samples was measured using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.PPK analyses were performed with nonlinear mixed-effect modeling software(version 7.1.2,PsN3.2.12).The clearance(C1),central distribution volume(V),absorption rate constant(Ka1),peripheral distribution volume(VII),and inter-compartmental clearance(CLII) were set as parameters and estimated by the base model,covariate model,and final model.Kidney-Yang deficiency[Shenyangxu(SYAX)]and liver-kidney-Yin deficiency(Ganshenyinxu) are patterns of symptoms in Traditional Chinese Medicine that were set as covariates,along with age,height,blood urea nitrogen,serum creatinine,alanine transaminase,aspartate transaminase,and hyperlipidemia.Both stepwise forward and backward procedures were accomplished to build models.The final model was evaluated by internal and external validation,visual predictive check,bootstrap,and leverage analysis.RESULTS:A one compartment open model with first order degradation was the best fitted to the concentration-time profiles following oral administration of NAR.The mean of population parameters of the final model,C1,SYAX on C1,V,Ka1,CLII,and VII,were measured to be 37.6 L/h,0.427 L,123 L/h,0.12/h,0.3056,and 1.446,respectively.Inter-individual variability was estimated and SYAX was identified as a significant covariate.CONCLUSION:The population pharmacokinetic model described in this study could effectively characterize the pharmacokinetic profile of NAR following administration of a single dose of oral Qianggu capsules in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis.Among the tested covariates,only SYAX was a significant factor.Wang Jiannong Jiang Junjie Xie Yanming Wei Xu Li Jianpeng Duan Jingli Xiong Xin 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2:9
4PIV measurements of turbulent jets issuing from triangular and circular orifice plates显示文摘The present study experimentally investigated the near-field flow mixing characteristics of two turbulent jets issuing from equilateral triangular and circular orifice plates into effectively unbounded surroundings,respectively.Planar particle image velocimetry(PIV) was applied to measure the velocity field at the same Reynolds number of Re=50,000,where Re = UeDe /with Ue being the exit bulk velocity and the kinematic viscosity of fluid,D e the equivalent diameters.The instantaneous velocity,mean velocity,Reynolds stresses were obtained.From the mean velocity field,the centreline velocity decay rate and half-velocity width were derived.Comparing the mixing characteristics of the two jets,it is found that the triangular jet has a faster mixing rate than the circular counterpart.The triangular jet entrainments with the ambient fluid at a higher rate in the near field.This is evidenced by a shorter unmixed core,faster Reynolds stress and centreline turbulence intensity growth.The primary coherent structures in the near field are found to break down more rapidly in the triangular jet as compared to the circular jet.Over the entire measurement region,the triangular jet maintained a higher rate of decay and spread.Moreover,all components of Reynolds stress of the triangular jet appear to reach their peaks earlier,and then decay more rapidly than those of the circular jet.In addition,the axis-switching phenomenon is observed in the triangular jet.XU MinYi ZHANG JianPeng MI JianChun NATHAN G J KALT P A M 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,6:7

6Tissue Expression and Stock Variation of Isozymes of Stone Flounder(Kareius bicoloratus)显示文摘Tissue expression and stock variation of isozymes of stone flounder (Kareius bicoloratus) were analyzed with horizontal starch gel electrophoresis. For the fourteen enzymes assayed, 31 loci were recorded. The results indicated that all the isozymes ex- amined were obviously tissue-specific. The expressions of SOD*, GDH*, G3PDH-2* and ADH-2* were detected only in liver, SDH-1*, MDH-1* and ADH-1* only in muscle, and LDH-B* and LDH-C* only in eyes. In comparison, MDH-2*, GPI-3* and SDH-2* were detected in all tissues examined. Other loci examined were detected in a variety of tissues. Muscle and liver were se- lected to detect the isozyme variation of the two geographic stocks of Qingdao and Weihai, Shandong Province, China. The percent- ages of polymorphic loci (P0.99) were 29.17% and 25.00%, the observed heterozygosities (H0) were 0.028 ± 0.014 and 0.040 ± 0.019, and the expected heterozygosities (He) were 0.039 ± 0.017 and 0.052 ± 0.022 in Qingdao and Weihai stock, respectively. The coeffi- cient of gene differentiation (Fst) and genetic distance (D) between the two stocks was 0.012 and 0.0011, respectively, indicating that the genetic differentiation is low between them. 7Dynamics of Anchor Last Deployment of Submersible Buoy System显示文摘Submersible buoy systems are widely used for oceanographic research,ocean engineering and coastal defense.Severe sea environment has obvious effects on the dynamics of submersible buoy systems.Huge tension can occur and may cause the snap of cables,especially during the deployment period.This paper studies the deployment dynamics of submersible buoy systems with numerical and experimental methods.By applying the lumped mass approach,a three-dimensional multi-body model of submersible buoy system is developed considering the hydrodynamic force,tension force and impact force between components of submersible buoy system and seabed.Numerical integration method is used to solve the differential equations.The simulation output includes tension force,trajectory,profile and dropping location and impact force of submersible buoys.In addition,the deployment experiment of a simplified submersible buoy model was carried out.The profile and different nodes' velocities of the submersible buoy are obtained.By comparing the results of the two methods,it is found that the numerical model well simulates the actual process and conditions of the experiment.The simulation results agree well with the results of the experiment such as gravity anchor's location and velocities of different nodes of the submersible buoy.The study results will help to understand the conditions of submersible buoy's deployment,operation and recovery,and can be used to guide the design and optimization of the system.ZHENG Zhongqiang XU Jianpeng HUANG Peng WANG Lei YANG Xiaoguang CHANG Zongyu 2016Journal of Ocean University of China2016,15,1:1

9Flexible and breathable 3D porous SSE/MXene foam towards impact/electromagnetic interference/bacteria multiple protection performance for intelligent wearable devices显示文摘As intelligent wearable devices,they will inevitably be subjected to various damages and disturbances from the external environment during daily use.Therefore,it is urgent to develop safeguarding materials with multiple protective properties.Herein,this work developed a flexible and breathable three-dimensional(3D)porous shear stiffening elastomer(SSE)/MXene(M-SSE)foam with impact/electromagnetic interference(EMI)/bacteria multiple protection performance for intelligent wearable devices.The continuous conductive MXene network in the 3D SSE porous structure made M-SSE foam exhibit excellent electromagnetic interference shielding property with a high shielding effectiveness of 34 dB.Attributed to the shear stiffening effect of porous SSE matrix,M-SSE foam possessed unique anti-impact and protection properties.The energy dissipation rate reached up to more than 85%,illustrating M-SSE foam could effectively attenuate the external impact force and absorb the impact energy.Inherited from the excellent photothermal performance of MXene,M-SSE foam achieved a considerable saturated temperature of 98℃ under 0.57 W/cm^(2) laser power.Therefore,M-SSE foam showed extraordinary antimicrobial property for Staphylococcus aureus according to the principle of photothermal sterilization.Finally,for the development of intelligent wearable devices,conductive MSSE foam could be used as an intelligent sensor to monitor various human movements owing to the highly sensitive property.This work greatly expanded the application prospect of multifunctional protective materials in various complex environments and promoted the development of multifunctional smart wearable devices in protection field.Min Sang Shuai Liu Jianpeng Wu Xinyi Wang Junshuo Zhang Yunqi Xu Yu Wang Jun Li Ji Li Shouhu Xuan Xinglong Gong 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:1

11Automatic modulation classification based on Alex Net with data augmentation显示文摘Deep learning(DL) requires massive volume of data to train the network. Insufficient training data will cause serious overfitting problem and degrade the classification accuracy. In order to solve this problem, a method for automatic modulation classification(AMC) using AlexNet with data augmentation was proposed. Three data augmentation methods is considered, i.e., random erasing, CutMix, and rotation. Firstly, modulated signals are converted into constellation representations. And all constellation representations are divided into training dataset and test dataset. Then, training dataset are augmented by three methods. Secondly, the optimal value of execution probability for random erasing and CutMix are determined. Simulation results show that both of them perform optimally when execution probability is 0.5. Thirdly, the performance of three data augmentation methods are evaluated. Simulation results demonstrate that all augmentation methods can improve the classification accuracy. Rotation improves the classification accuracy by 13.04% when signal noise ratio(SNR) is 2 dB. Among three methods, rotation outperforms random erasing and CutMix when SNR is greater than-6 dB. Finally, compared with other classification algorithms, random erasing, CutMix, and rotation used in this paper achieved the performance significantly improved. 13Point-cloud segmentation of individual trees in complex natural forest scenes based on a trunk-growth method显示文摘Forest resource management and ecological assessment have been recently supported by emerging technologies.Terrestrial laser scanning(TLS)is one that can be quickly and accurately used to obtain three-dimensional forest information,and create good representations of forest vertical structure.TLS data can be exploited for highly significant tasks,particularly the segmentation and information extraction for individual trees.However,the existing single-tree segmentation methods suffer from low segmentation accuracy and poor robustness,and hence do not lead to satisfactory results for natural forests in complex environments.In this paper,we propose a trunk-growth(TG)method for single-tree point-cloud segmentation,and apply this method to the natural forest scenes of Shangri-La City in Northwest Yunnan,China.First,the point normal vector and its Z-axis component are used as trunk-growth constraints.Then,the points surrounding the trunk are searched to account for regrowth.Finally,the nearest distributed branch and leaf points are used to complete the individual tree segmentation.The results show that the TG method can effectively segment individual trees with an average F-score of 0.96.The proposed method applies to many types of trees with various growth shapes,and can effectively identify shrubs and herbs in complex scenes of natural forests.The promising outcomes of the TG method demonstrate the key advantages of combining plant morphology theory and LiDAR technology for advancing and optimizing forestry systems.Qianwei Liu Weifeng Ma Jianpeng Zhang Yicheng Liu Dongfan Xu Jinliang Wang 2021Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,6:1
14Ambient Temperature and Years of Life Lost:A National Study in China显示文摘Although numerous studies have investigated premature deaths attributable to temperature,effects of temperature on years of life lost(YLL)remain unclear.We estimated the relationship between temperatures and YLL,and quantified the YLL per death caused by temperature in China.We collected daily meteorological and mortality data,and calculated the daily YLL values for 364 locations(2013–2017 in Yunnan,Guangdong,Hunan,Zhejiang,and Jilin provinces,and 2006–2011 in other locations)in China.A time-series design with a distributed lag nonlinear model was first employed to estimate the location-specific associations between temperature and YLL rates(YLL/100,000 population),and a multivariate meta-analysis model was used to pool location-specific associations.Then,YLL per death caused by temperatures was calculated.The temperature and YLL rates consistently showed U-shaped associations.A mean of 1.02(95%confidence interval:0.67,1.37)YLL per death was attributable to temperature.Cold temperature caused 0.98 YLL per death with most from moderate cold(0.84).The mean YLL per death was higher in those with cardiovascular diseases(1.14),males(1.15),younger age categories(1.31 in people aged 65–74 years),and in central China(1.34)than in those with respiratory diseases(0.47),females(0.87),older people(0.85 in people R75 years old),and northern China(0.64)or southern China(1.19).The mortality burden was modified by annual temperature and temperature variability,relative humidity,latitude,longitude,altitude,education attainment,and central heating use.Temperatures caused substantial YLL per death in China,which was modified by demographic and regional characteristics.Tao Liu Chunliang Zhou Haoming Zhang Biao Huang Yanjun Xu Lifeng Lin Lijun Wang Ruying Hu Zhulin Hou Yize Xiao Junhua Li Xiaojun Xu Donghui Jin Mingfang Qin Qinglong Zhao Weiwei Gong Peng Yin Yiqing Xu Jianxiong Hu Jianpeng Xiao Weilin Zeng Xing Li Siqi Chen Lingchuan Guo Zuhua Rong Yonghui Zhang Cunrui Huang Yaodong Du Yuming Guo Shannon Rutherford Min Yu Maigeng Zhou Wenjun Ma 2021The Innovation2021,2,1:1
15On two distinct Reynolds number regimes of a turbulent square jet显示文摘The effects of Reynolds number on both large-scale and small-scale turbulence properties are investigated in a square jet issuing from a square pipe.The detailed velocity fields were measured at five different exit Reynolds numbers of 8 × 10~3 < Re < 5 × 10~4.It is found that both large-scale properties(e.g.,rates of mean velocity decay and spread) and small-scale properties(e.g.,the dimensionless dissipation rate constant A = εL/〈u^2)^(3/2)) are dependent on Re for Re < 3 × 10~4 or Re_λ < 190,but virtually become Re-independent with increasing Re or Re_λ In addition,for Re_λ > 190,the value of A = εL/〈u^2)^(3/2) in the present square jet converges to 0.5,which is consistent with the observation in direct numerical simulations of box turbulence,but lower than that in circular jet,plate wake flows,and grid turbulence.The discrepancies in critical Reynolds number and A = εL/〈u^2〉^(3/2) among different turbulent flows most likely result from the flow type and initial conditions.Minyi Xu Jianpeng Zhang Pengfei Li Jianchun Mi 2015Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters2015,5,3:0
16Characteristics and modeling of UAV-vehicle MIMO wideband channels显示文摘A geometry-based stochastic model(GBSM) for unmanned aerial vehicle to vehicle(UAV-V) multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) wideband channel is proposed to investigate the characteristics of UAV-V channel. Based on the proposed model, a three-dimensional(3D) wideband channel matrix regarding channel numbers, time and delay is constructed. And some important channel characteristics parameters, such as power delay profile(PDP), root mean square(RMS) delay spread, RMS Doppler spread, channel gain and Doppler power spectral density(PSD) are investigated with different vehicle velocities. It is much simpler and clearer compared with the complex analytical derivations. 17A Prediction Method for △f_0F_(2min) of a Single Station From Interplanetary Parameters Based on Statistical Study显示文摘Using 86 CME-interplanetary shock events,the correlation between the peak values of (a) the solar wind parameters(B_z,E_y,P_(dyn)) and the geomagnetic indices(SYM-H,ASY-H,Kp), (b) the coupling functions(Borovsky,Akasofu,Newell) and the geomagnetic indices,(c) the solar wind parameters/coupling functions/geomagnetic indices and the ionospheric parameter(Δf_0F_(2min)), are investigated.The statistical results show that in group(a),B_(z min) and SYM-H_(min) have the best correlation,that in group(b),the best correlation is between the peak values of Akasofu function (A_(min)) and SYM-H_(min),and that in group(c),the best correlation is between K_(pmax) andΔf_0F_(2min). Based on the statistical results,a method for predicting f_0F_2 of a single station is attempted to be set up.The input is modified B_(z min) and the outputs are SYM-H_(min) andΔf_0F_(2min).Then 25 CME-IPS events that caused geomagnetic storms in 1998 and 2009 are used to check the prediction method.
