2Immunotherapeutical Potential of Mycobacterium Vaccae on M. Tuberculosis Infection in Mice显示文摘Tuberculosis remains the worldwide infectious disease. To identify the therapeutic potential of M. vaccae in treating tuberculosis,M. vaccae was injected into Mycobacterium tuberculosis(M. tuberculosis) infected mice. The optimal dose of M. vaccae(22.5 μg/mouse) treated mice showed lower pathological change index,spleen weight index,lung weight index and vital M. tuberculosis count than those of the untreated group. Treatment with M. vaccae enhanced the percentages of CD3+ and CD4+ T cells,IFN-γ+CD4+ T cells,innate immune cells including NK cells,NK1.1+ T cells and γδ T cells,and reduced the percentage of IL-4+CD4+ T cells. 3Plant HP1 protein ADCP1 links multivalent H3K9 methylation readout to heterochromatin formation显示文摘Heterochromatin Protein 1 (HP1) recognizes histone H3 lysine 9 methylation (H3K9me) through its conserved chromodomain and maintains heterochromatin from fission yeast to mammals. However, in Arabidopsis, Like Heterochromatin Protein 1 (LHP1) recognizes and colocalizes genome-wide with H3K27me3, and is the functional homolog of Polycomb protein. This raises the question whether genuine HP1 homologs exist in plants. Here, we report on the discovery of ADCP1, a plant-specific triple tandem Agenet protein, as a multivalent H3K9me reader in Arabidopsis, and establish that ADCP1 is essential for heterochromatin formation and transposon silencing through modulating H3K9 and DNA methylation levels. Structural studies revealed the molecular basis underlying H3K9me-specific recognition by tandem Agenet of ADCP1. Similar to human HP1α and fly HP1a, ADCP1 mediates heterochromatin phase separation. 4Comparative Genome Analysis of Scutellaria baicalensis and Scutellaria barbata Reveals the Evolution of Active Flavonoid Biosynthesis显示文摘Scutellaria baicalensis(S.baicalensis)and Scutellaria barbata(S.barbata)are common medicinal plants of the Lamiaceae family.Both produce specific flavonoid compounds,including baicalein,scutellarein,norwogonin,and wogonin,as well as their glycosides,which exhibit antioxidant and antitumor activities.Here,we report chromosome-level genome assemblies of S.baicalensis and S.barbata with quantitative chromosomal variation(2 n=18 and 2 n=26,respectively).The divergence of S.baicalensis and S.barbata occurred far earlier than previously reported,and a whole-genome duplication(WGD)event was identified.The insertion of long terminal repeat elements after speciation might be responsible for the observed chromosomal expansion and rearrangement.Comparative genome analysis of the congeneric species revealed the species-specific evolution of chrysin and apigenin biosynthetic genes,such as the S.baicalensis-specific tandem duplication of genes encoding phenylalanine ammonia lyase and chalcone synthase,and the S.barbata-specific duplication of genes encoding 4-Co A ligase.In addition,the paralogous duplication,colinearity,and expression diversity of CYP82 D subfamily members revealed the functional divergence of genes encoding flavone hydroxylase between S.baicalensis and S.barbata.Analyzing these Scutellaria genomes reveals the common and species-specific evolution of flavone biosynthetic genes.Thus,these findings would facilitate the development of molecular breeding and studies of biosynthesis and regulation of bioactive compounds.Zhichao Xu Ranran Gao Xiangdong Pu Rong Xu Jiyong Wang Sihao Zheng Yan Zeng Jun Chen Chunnian He Jingyuan Song 2020Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,3:10
5Surface ozone monitoring and background characteristics at Zhongshan Station over Antarctica显示文摘Seasonal variation in surface ozone and the relationship between the background ozone concentration and wind were evaluated at Zhongshan Station,Antarctica using 2008 data.The wind frequency from the station area was only 2%,while the prevailing wind frequency was much larger (79.2%).This indicates that the surface ozone observations were not affected by the human activities at the station,and therefore could be counted as background concentrations of surface ozone along Antarctic coast.The concentration of surface ozone shows a distinct annual variation with the yearly mean of 25.0 nmol mol-1 and the maximum in winter,the minimum in summer.The surface ozone concentration had a strong negative correlation with ultraviolet radiation,and the mean values during polar night were one to two times higher than those in summer.These results imply that photochemical destruction of ozone dominates over Antarctica.The ozone depletion events at Zhongshan Station were obviously related to lower temperatures and higher BrO concentrations.Backward trajectory analysis reveals that the ozone depletion events are predominately caused by the high BrO concentrations.WANG YuTing BIAN LinGen MA YongFeng TANG Jie ZHANG DongQi ZHENG XiangDong 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,10:7
6Development and Preliminary Evaluation of a Double-cell Ozonesonde显示文摘Ozonesondes are widely used to obtain ozone concentration profiles from the surface to the upper atmosphere. A kind of double-cell ozonesonde has been developed at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics(IAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences(named the 'IAP ozonesonde') based on previous experience over the past 20 years of developing the singlecell GPSO3 ozonesonde. The IAP ozonesonde is of the Electrochemical Concentration Cell(ECC) type. A detailed description of the IAP ozonesonde is firstly provided in the present paper, followed by a presentation of results from a series of launches carried out to evaluate its performance. The analysis involved comparing its observations with measurements from the GPSO3 and ECC ozonesondes(Model type ENSCI-Z) as well as a Brewer spectrophotometer. The results showed that the IAP ozonesonde is a vast improvement over the GPSO3 ozonesonde, able to capture vertical ozone structures very well and in good agreement with ECC ozonesonde measurements. The average difference in the ozone partial pressure between the IAP and ECC ozonesondes was 0.3 mPa from the surface to 2.5 km, close to zero from 2.5 to 9 km and generally less than 1 mPa for layers higher than 9 km. The apparent deviation is likely caused by a decreasing pump flow rate in the IAP ozonesonde which needs further improvement. The total ozone amounts measured by the IAP ozonesonde profiles were highly comparable with the Brewer data with a relative difference of 6%. 7The vertical structure and seasonal changes of atmosphere ozone and temperature at Zhongshan Station over East Antarctica显示文摘The vertical structure of the atmospheric ozone and temperature as well as the seasonal variations is presented by using ozone sounding data at Zhongshan Station over East Antarctica from February, 2008 to February, 2009. The results show that the heights of thermal tropopause and ozone tropopause are mostly the same with yearly mean 7.9 and 7.4 km separately above the station. There is obvious seasonal variation in the pressure and temperature of the tropopause, manifested by the clear one-wave pattern with an opposite phase. As the turning point of the tropopause temperature is visible in autumn and faint in spring and winter, the tropopause height can be better confirmed by utilization of the changes of ozone. Seasonal variation of the tropospheric ozone of vertical distribution is not clear, relative to stratosphere. In the spring, ozone in the low level of stratosphere lost seriously. The minimum partial ozone in 14 km was 1.57 MPa only and the maximum partial ozone occurred in the up level stratosphere. In the rest of the season the ozone increases with height rising in the low level of stratosphere. The evidence shows that ozone lost in spring is closely related with low temperature of polar night and the process of PSC photochemical destruction ozone in the stratosphere. 8Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). 9^(10)Be/~7Be implies the contribution of stratosphere-troposphere transport to the winter-spring surface O_3 variation observed on the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘10Be/7Be is a stratospheric sensitive tracer.In this paper,measurements of 10Be/7Be and surface O3 from October 2005 to May 2006 at Mt.Waliguan (hereafter WLG,100.898°E,39.287°N,3810 m,a.s.l.),China global atmospheric watch (GAW) observatory,are introduced and used to investigate the stratosphere-troposphere transport (STT) and its impact on surface O3 on the Tibetan Plateau.The results show that the magnitude of STT is weak in winter,followed by strengthening from the end of winter to the middle of spring (from mid February to mid April) with large increases in 10Be,7Be,10Be/7Be and surface O3.At the end of spring (from the end of April to mid May in this paper),the STT weakened,and the continuous increase of surface O3 at WLG is produced by tropospheric photochemistry reactions.ZHENG XiangDong SHEN ChengDe WAN GuoJiang LIU KeXin TANG Jie XU XiaoBin 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,1:5
10Source characteristics of O_3 and CO_2 at Mt. Waliguan Observatory,Tibetan Plateau implied by using ~7Be and ^(210)Pb显示文摘The weekly averages of near-surface 7Be,210Pb,O 3,and CO2 concentrations at the Global Atmospheric Watch Observatory,Mt.Waliguan(101.98°E,36.287°N,3810 m a.s.l.) ,from October 2002 to January 2004 are presented.With the establishment of the new datasets of DCCW(Differential Concentrations in Contiguous Weeks) of 7Be,210Pb,and O 3,CO2(Δ7Be,Δ210Pb,ΔO3,ΔCO2,respectively,the impacts of upper-level downward transports and land-surface emissions on O3 and CO2 concentrations are implied by 7Be and 210Pb being as independent tracers.The relations amongΔ7Be,Δ210Pb,andΔO 3,ΔCO2 are examined statistically and compared.The results indicate that with the DCCWs,the interferences with the tracing significance of 7 Be and 210Pb from the seasonal wet scavenging of atmospheric aerosol are greatly reduced,and the weighting sources of O 3 or CO2 variations are more pronounced.Basically,the variability of surface O3 is controlled predominately by air mass transported from the upper atmosphere levels while the emission from the Continent Boundary Layer(CBL) has an obvious input for CO2.The relation betweenΔ210Pb andΔO3 reflects that influences of CBL emission are generally positive/negative for surface O3 budget in summer/winter,and the relation ofΔ7Be andΔCO2 also reveals that upper level downward transport has positive/negative inputs for CO2 in summer/winter.With the highly correlated relations between 7 Be and O3,a quantitative estimation is made of the stratospheric contributions to the budget of surface O3 at WLG:the monthly averages of stratospheric O3 range from 6×10 -9 to 8×10 -9(volume mixing ratio) in April and from June to August,and 2×10 -9 to 4×10 -9 in the remaining months.For the ultimate sources of the baseline concentration of surface O3,which consist of only stratospheric transport and tropospheric photochemistry production,the contribution from stratospheric transport is estimated to be about 20×10 -9 from May to July,and(12-15) ×10 -9 in the remaining months,and the total relative contribution rate is about 35%to 40%.ZHENG XiangDong WAN GuoJiang TANG Jie 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,4:4
11The Tibetan Plateau Surface–Atmosphere Coupling System and Its Weather and Climate Effects: The Third Tibetan Plateau Atmospheric Science Experiment显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau(TP) is a key area affecting forecasts of weather and climate in China and occurrences of extreme weather and climate events over the world. The China Meteorological Administration, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly initiated the Third Tibetan Plateau Atmospheric Science Experiment(TIPEX-Ⅲ) in 2013, with an 8–10-yr implementation plan. Since its preliminary field measurements conducted in 2013, routine automatic sounding systems have been deployed at Shiquanhe, Gaize, and Shenzha stations in western TP, where no routine sounding observations were available previously. The observational networks for soil temperature and soil moisture in the central and western TP have also been established. Meanwhile, the plateau-scale and regional-scale boundary layer observations, cloud–precipitation microphysical observations with multiple radars and aircraft campaigns, and tropospheric–stratospheric air composition observations at multiple sites, were performed. The results so far show that the turbulent heat exchange coefficient and sensible heat flux are remarkably lower than the earlier estimations at grassland, meadow, and bare soil surfaces of the central and western TP. Climatologically, cumulus clouds over the main body of the TP might develop locally instead of originating from the cumulus clouds that propagate northward from South Asia. The TIPEX-Ⅲ observations up to now also reveal diurnal variations, macro-and microphysical characteristics, and water-phase transition mechanisms, of cumulus clouds at Naqu station. Moreover, TIPEX-Ⅲ related studies have proposed a maintenance mechanism responsible for the Asian 'atmospheric water tower' and demonstrated the effects of the TP heating anomalies on African, Asian, and North American climates. Additionally, numerical modeling studies show that the Γ distribution of raindrop size is more suitable for depicting the TP raindrop characteristics compared to the M–P distribution, the overestimation of sensible heat flux can be reduced via modifying the heat transfer parameterization over the TP, and considering climatic signals in some key areas of the TP can improve the skill for rainfall forecast in the central and eastern parts of China. 12Validation of Aura Microwave Limb Sounder water vapor and ozone profiles over the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent region during boreal summer显示文摘We present validation studies of MLS V2.2 and V3.3 water vapor(WV) and ozone profiles over the Tibetan Plateau(Naqu and Lhasa) and its adjacent region(Tengchong) respectively by using the balloon-borne Cryogenic Frost point Hygrometer and Electrochemical Concentration Cell ozonesonde. Coincident in situ measurements were selected to compare the MLS V2.2 and V3.3 WV and ozone profiles for understanding the applicability of the two version MLS products over the region. MLS V2.2 and V3.3 WV profiles respectively show their differences within ?2.2±15.7%(n=74) and 0.3±14.9%(n=75) in the stratosphere at and above 82.5 h Pa. Accordingly, at 100 h Pa, the altitude approaching the tropopuase height, differences are within 9.8± 46.0%(n=18) and 23.0±45.8%(n=17), and they are within 21.5±90.6%(n=104) and 6.0±83.4%(n=99) in upper troposphere. The differences of MLS ozone are within ?11.7±16.3%(n=135, V2.2) and 15.6±24.2%(n=305, V3.3) at and above 82.5 h Pa. At 100 h Pa, they are within ?3.5±54.4%(n=27) and ?8.7±41.6%(n=38), and within 18.0±79.1%(n=47) and 34.2±76.6%(n=160) in the upper troposphere. The relative difference of MLS WV and ozone profile has significant oscillation and scatter at upper troposphere and lower stratosphere partly due to the stronger gradients of WV and ozone concentrations here as well the linear interpolation of sonde data for the intercomparison. At and below 70 h Pa, the relative differences of MLS ozone are significantly larger over Lhasa during the Tibetan Plateau 'ozone valley' season, which is also the Asian Summer Monsoon period. The MLS ozone differences over the three sites are similar in their vertical distributions during that period. A simple linear correlation analysis between MLS and sonde profiles indicates that the sensitivity of MLS profile products is related to concentrations at each pressure level. The MLS V3.3 product sensitivity is slightly improved for WV at and above 82.5 h Pa, whereas it is not obvious for ozone. 13Aligned fibrin/functionalized self-assembling peptide interpenetrating nanofiber hydrogel presenting multi-cues promotes peripheral nerve functional recovery显示文摘Nerve guidance conduits with hollow lumen fail to regenerate critical-sized peripheral nerve defects(15 mm in rats and 25 mm in humans),which can be improved by a beneficial intraluminal microenvironment.However,individual cues provided by intraluminal filling materials are inadequate to eliminate the functional gap between regenerated nerves and normal nerves.Herein,an aligned fibrin/functionalized self-assembling peptide(AFG/fSAP)interpenetrating nanofiber hydrogel that exerting synergistic topographical and biochemical cues for peripheral nerve regeneration is constructed via electrospinning and molecular self-assembly.The hydrogel possesses an aligned structure,high water content,appropriate mechanical properties and suitable biodegradation capabilities for nerve repair,which enhances the alignment and neurotrophin secretion of primary Schwann cells(SCs)in vitro,and successfully bridges a 15-mm sciatic nerve gap in rats in vivo.The rats transplanted with the AFG/fSAP hydrogel exhibit satisfactory morphological and functional recovery in myelinated nerve fibers and innervated muscles.The motor function recovery facilitated by the AFG/fSAP hydrogel is comparable with that of autografts.Moreover,the AFG/fSAP hydrogel upregulates the regeneration-associated gene expression and activates the PI3K/Akt and MAPK signaling pathways in the regenerated nerve.Altogether,the AFG/fSAP hydrogel represents a promising approach for peripheral nerve repair through an integration of structural guidance and biochemical stimulation.Shuhui Yang Jinjin Zhu Changfeng Lu Yi Chai Zheng Cao Jiaju Lu Zhe Zhang He Zhao Yin-Yuan Huang Shenglian Yao Xiangdong Kong Peixun Zhang Xiumei Wang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,2:3

15Mechanism of inversion metallogeny of quartz vein type gold deposits in the Xiaoqinling region显示文摘There are a lot of important gold_bearing quartz veins in the Xiaoqinling metamorphic core complex. The quartz veins are strictly controlled by shear zones. Stress analysis indicates that the metallizing process of the Xiaoqinling gold deposits of quartz vein type can be divided into two stages. At the first stage, the shear zones were formed in an extensional environment, and the temperature was higher and the buried depth was greater; at the second stage, the brittle thrusts were superimposed in ductile shear zones after the tectonic stress field turned from the extension to compression. 16Two-year measurements of surface ozone at Dangxiong,a remote highland site in the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Measurements of surface O3 and carbon monoxide(CO) were made from September 2009 to August 2011 at Dangxiong(30.48°N, 91.10°E, 4187 m a.s.l.), a remote highland site in a southern valley of the Nyainqêntanglha Mountains in the Tibetan Plateau, China. The monthly mean O3 mixing ratio ranged from 29.1 to 51.4 ppb, with an average of 38.5 ppb, and the maximum value was observed in May. The average diurnal cycle of O3 concentration showed a minimum in early morning and a maximum in the afternoon, with a broader 'high platform' from the late morning to the late afternoon, and resembled that of surface wind speed. The concentration of surface O3 was highly significantly correlated with tropospheric column O3 over the regions surrounding Dangxiong and with that of surface O3 observed at a site north of the Nyainqêntanglha Mountains, suggesting a good regional representativeness of surface O3 at Dangxiong. In the afternoon when stronger winds blew, surface air showed distinct features of free-atmospheric air, with higher O3, lower CO, and lower relative humidity(RH). The negative O3–CO and O3–RH correlations in most months indicate a significant influence of air masses from the free troposphere. 17Enhance the activity of multi-carbon products for Cu via P doping towards CO_(2) reduction显示文摘Electronic structure engineering is a powerful method to tailor the behavior of adsorbed intermediates on the surface of catalysts,thus regulating catalytic activity towards CO_(2)electroreduction.Herein,we prepared a series of P-doped Cu catalysts for CO_(2)electroreduction into multi-carbon(C_(2+))products by regulating the surface electronic structure of Cu.The introduction of P could stabilize the surface Cu^(δ+)species,enhancing the activity for C_(2+)products via adjusting the adsorbed strength of the CO intermediates(~*CO).When the molar ratio of P to Cu was 8.3%,the catalyst exhibited a Faradaic efficiency of 64%for C_(2+)products,which was 1.9 times as high as that(33%)for Cu catalysts at the applied current density of 210 m A cm^(-2).Notably,at the applied current density of 300 mA cm^(-2),the P-doped Cu catalyst with the molar ratio of P to Cu of 8.3%exhibited the highest partial current density for C_(2+)products of 176 mA cm^(-2),whereas the partial current density for C_(2+)products over the Cu catalyst was only 84 mA cm^(-2).Mechanistic studies revealed that modulating the molar ratios of P to Cu regulated the adsorbed strength of~*CO.A moderate adsorbed strength of *CO induced by appropriate P doping was responsible for the facilitated C–C coupling process.Xiangdong Kong Cheng Wang Han Zheng Zhigang Geng Jun Bao Jie Zeng 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,7:1
