1Single small molecule-assembled nanoparticles mediate efficient oral drug delivery显示文摘Oral drug delivery,which requires surviving the harsh environment in the gastrointestinal(Gl)tract and penetrating the intestinal epithelium,has not bee n achieved using simple formulatio n nan oparticles(NPs).Medici nal natural products(MNPs)have bee n widely used in traditi onal medicine for disease management through oral consumption.However,most pharmacologically active compounds within MNPs do not have the properties suitable for oral applicatio ns.We hypothesize that some MNPs contain n atural nano materials that can convert those compounds into oral formulations by forming NPs.After screening 66 MNPs,we identified five classes of small molecules that form NPs,many of which are capable of efficient drug encapsulation and Gl penetration.We show that one of them,dehydrotrametenolic acid(DTA),is capable of mediating oral delivery for effective disease treatment.We determined that DTA NPs assemble through hydrogen bonding and penetra怕the Gl tract via apical sodium-depe ndent bile acid tran sporter.Our study reveals a no vel class of single comp orient,small molecule-assembled NPs for oral drug delivery,and suggests a n ovel approach to modernizi ng MNPs through nano material discovery.Xin Yang Chao Ma Zeming Chen Jun Liu Fuyao Liu Rongbin Xie Haitian Zhao Gang Deng Ann TChen Ningbo Gong Lei Yao Pengjian Zuo Kangkang Zhi Jiacheng Wang Xiaobin Gao Jing Wang Louzhen Fan Jiangbing Zhou 2019Nano Research2019,12,10:4

4All-fiber generation of arbitrary cylindrical vector beams on the first-order Poincare sphere显示文摘We propose a linear mapping relationship between the polarization of the fundamental mode and the cylindrical vector(CV)modes on the first-order Poincaresphere(FOPS)in fiber.The new method is based on the fourdimensional complex Jones matrices in terms of the linearly polarized mode bases.With our theoretical model,an all-fiber approach to generate arbitrary CV beams on the FOPS is proposed theoretically and verified experimentally.In the experiment,through the combination of a mode converter and a two-segment cascaded few-mode fiber with fixed stresses,it is possible to generate all CV modes on the FOPS by only adjusting the polarization of the fundamental mode.The Stokes parameters of the output light are measured to verify our scheme,which shows good agreement with the theoretical prediction.The method may provide a convenient way to generate CV beams and evolve the polarization states in any path on the FOPS,which is expected to have potential applications in encoding information and quantum computation.LIPENG FENG YAN LI SIHAN WU XUN GUAN CHEN YANG WEIJUN TONG WEI LI JIFANG QIU XIAOBIN HONG YONG ZUO HONGXIANG GUO ERHU CHEN JIAN WU 2020Photonics Research2020,8,8:1
5Application of informatics in cancer research and clinical practice:Opportunities and challenges显示文摘Cancer informatics has significantly progressed in the big data era.We summarize the application of informatics approaches to the cancer domain from both the informatics perspective(e.g.,data management and data science)and the clinical perspective(e.g.,cancer screening,risk assessment,diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis).We discuss various informatics methods and tools that are widely applied in cancer research and practices,such as cancer databases,data standards,terminologies,high‐throughput omics data mining,machine‐learning algorithms,artificial intelligence imaging,and intelligent radiation.We also address the informatics challenges within the cancer field that pursue better treatment decisions and patient outcomes,and focus on how informatics can provide opportunities for cancer research and practices.Finally,we conclude that the interdisciplinary nature of cancer informatics and collaborations are major drivers for future research and applications in clinical practices.It is hoped that this review is instrumental for cancer researchers and clinicians with its informatics‐specific insights.Na Hong Gang Sun Xiuran Zuo Meng Chen Li Liu Jiani Wang Xiaobin Feng Wenzhao Shi Mengchun Gong Pengcheng Ma 2022Cancer Innovation2022,1,1:0
6Efficient Mechanisms to Improve TCP Performance over OBS Networks显示文摘Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) performance over Optical Burst Switching (OBS) is experimentally investigated on an OBS network testbed, concluding that burst losses will lead to a significant drop in the available TCP bandwidth. 7Inhibiting octahedral tilting for stable CsPbI_(2)Br solar cells显示文摘The intrinsic phase instability of CsPbI_(2)Br perovskite hinders its development and application in solar cells.Herein,we adopt 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate(BMIMPF6),a hydrophobic ionic liquid(IL),to improve the phase stability of CsPbI_(2)Br.Density functional theory calculation reveals that the formation energy of CsPbI_(2)Br with BMIMPF6 is reduced,thereby restraining the[PbX_(6)]^(4-) octahedral tilting.The reduced structural distortion and relaxed lattice strain result in improved phase stability of CsPbI_(2)Br.In addition,the interfacial dipole moment increases after introducing BMIMPF6,which facilitates the charge transfer.Consequently,the CsPbI_(2)Br solar cells with BMIMPF6 deliver a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 16.2%along with excellent stability.The unencapsulated devices with BMIMPF6 maintain 98.9%,88.6%,and 99.5%of the initial PCEs after 1200 h storage in N_(2),1000 h storage in air(30%relative humidity),and 200 thermal cycles(25–100℃),respectively.Aili Wang Jianwei Wang Xiaobin Niu Chuantian Zuo Feng Hao Liming Ding 2022InfoMat2022,4,1:0
8Comparison of Three Methods for Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen in Surface Water显示文摘Nessler's reagent spectrophotometry,gas phase molecular absorption spectrometry and ion chromatography were respectively used to determine ammonia nitrogen in surface water.The detection limit,precision,accuracy and recovery rate of the three methods were compared,and the determination results of the actual water samples were analyzed by t test.The results showed that the three methods all could meet the requirement of the laboratory quality control,and there was no significant difference in the determination results.Compared with Nessler's reagent spectrophotometry,the operation of gas phase molecular absorption spectrometry and ion chromatography operation was more convenient and fast and has no pollution,which can be used for the determination of ammonia nitrogen content in a large quantity of surface water samples.Zuo Jia Dai Shuhao Wei Baomei Qiu Lan Tu Xiaobin 2019Meteorological and Environmental Research2019,10,3:0
