| 1 | Antiviral activity of Jinchai capsule against influenza virus显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect on influenza virus of Jinchai,a capsule made of Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS:Madin-darby canine kidney(MDCK) cells were infected with the FM1 strain of influenza virus A(subtype H1N1) in vitro.They were used to explore how Jinchai affected cell adsorption,cell membrane fusion,transcription and replication of the influenza virus.Hemagglutinin(HA) protein,intracellular pH,and influenza virus protein acid(PA) polymerase subunit were detected with confocal microscopy and real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS:Jinchai significantly reduced the expression of HA and PA polymerase subunit mRNA in infected MDCK cells.Jinchai also significantly decreased intracellular pH in infected cells.CONCLUSIONS:Jinchai had strong anti-influenza activity against the influenza virus.It weakened the ability of the influenza virus to adsorb to cell wall and fuse with cell membranes in the early infection stage,and inhibited the transcription and replication of the virus. | Juying Zhong Xiaolan Cui Yujing Shi Yingjie Gao Hongxin Cao | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,2: | 4 |
| 2 | Polymer electrolytes for Li-S batteries:Polymeric fundamentals and performance optimization显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S) batteries have been considered as one of the most promising candidates to traditional lithium ion batteries due to its low cost,high theoretical specific capacity(1675 mAh g^(-1)) and energy density(2600 Wh kg^(-1)) of sulfur.Compared with traditional liquid electrolytes,polymer electrolytes(PEs) are ever-increasingly preferred due to their higher safety,superior compatibility,long cycling stability and so on.Despite some progresses on PEs,however,there remain lots of hurdles to be addressed prior to commercial applications.This review begins with native advantages for PEs to replace LEs,and then proposes the ideal requirements for PEs.Furthermore,a brief development history of typical PEs for Li-S batteries is presented to systematically summarize the recent achievements in Li-S batteries with PEs.Noted that the structure-performance relationships of polymer matrixes for PEs are highlighted.Finally,the challenges and opportunities on the future development of PEs are presented.We hold the view that composite polymer electrolytes in virtue of the high ionic conductivity and the compatible interfacial property will be promising solution for high performance Li-S batteries. | Meifang Jiang Zengqi Zhang Ben Tang Tiantian Dong Hantao Xu Huanri Zhang Xiaolan Lu Guanglei Cui | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7: | 3 |
| 3 | Optimization of Process Parameters for in High-Energy Ball Milling of CNTs/Al2024 Composites Through Response Surface Methodology显示文摘The mathematical models are developed to evaluate the ultimate tensile strength( UTS) and hardness of CNTs / Al2024 composites fabricated by high-energy ball milling. The effects of the preparation variables which are milling time,rotational speed,mass fraction of CNTs and ball to powder ratio on UST and hardness of CNTs / Al2024 composites are investigated. Based on the central composite design( CCD),a quadratic model is developed to correlate the fabrication variables to the UST and hardness. From the analysis of variance( ANOVA),the most influential factor on each experimental design response is identified. The optimum conditions for preparing CNTs / Al2024 composites are found as follows: 1. 53 h milling time,900 r / min rotational speed,mass fraction of CNTs 2. 87% and Ball to powder ratio 25 ∶ 1. The predicted maximum UST and hardness are 273.30 MPa and 261.36 HV,respectively. And the experimental values are 283.25 MPa and256.8 HV,respectively. | 4 | CsTRM5 regulates fruit shape via mediating cell division direction and cell expansion in cucumber显示文摘Fruit shape and size are important appearance and yield traits in cucumber,but the underlying genes and their regulatory mechanisms remain poorly understood.Here we identified a mutant with spherical fruits from an Ethyl Methane Sulfonate(EMS)-mutagenized library,named the qiu mutant.Compared with the cylindrical fruit shape in 32X(wild type),the fruit shape in qiu was round due to reduced fruit length and increased fruit diameter.MutMap analysis narrowed the candidate gene in the 6.47 MB range on Chr2,harboring the FS2.1 locus reported previously.A single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)(11359603)causing a truncated protein of CsaV3_2G013800,the homolog of tomato fruit shape gene SlTRM5,may underlie the fruit shape variation in the qiu mutant.Knockout of CsTRM5 by the CRISPR-Cas9 system confirmed that CsaV3_2G013800/CsTRM5 was the causal gene responsible for qiu.Sectioning analysis showed that the spherical fruit in qiu resulted mainly from increased and reduced cell division along the transverse and longitudinal directions,respectively.Meanwhile,the repressed cell expansion contributed to the decreased fruit length in qiu.Transcriptome profiling showed that the expression levels of cell-wall-related genes and abscisic acid(ABA)pathway genes were significantly upregulated in qiu.Hormone measurements indicated that ABA content was greatly increased in the qiu mutant.Exogenous ABA application reduced fruit elongation by inhibiting cell expansion in cucumber.Taken together,these data suggest that CsTRM5 regulates fruit shape by affecting cell division direction and cell expansion,and that ABA participates in the CsTRM5-mediated cell expansion during fruit elongation in cucumber. | Yang Xie Xiaofeng Liu Chengzhen Sun Xiaofei Song Xiaoli Li Haonan Cui Jingyu Guo Liu Liu Ao Ying Zeqin Zhang Xueyun Zhu Liying Yan Xiaolan Zhang | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,3: | 1 |

| 6 | Controlling the morphology, size and phase of Nb_2O_5 crystals for high electrochemical performance显示文摘The morphology, size and phase of the material play a crucial role in its electrochemical performance.Herein, the nano-sized niobium pentoxide(Nb_2O_5) with different morphologies and phase structures are synthesized through a very simple thermal treatment method, including the pseudo hexagonal Nb_2O_5 nanosheets and pseudo hexagonal Nb_2O_5 nanoparticles, orthorhombic Nb_2O_5 nanoparticles. The synthesized pseudohexagonal Nb2O5 nanosheets and orthorhombic Nb_2O_5 nanoparticles exhibit better cycling and rate performance than the pseudohexagonal Nb2 O5 nanoparticles due to the different morphologies and phase structures. The T-Nb_2O_5-700 nanoparticles show the higher capacity(175 mAh/g) than that of TT-Nb_2O_5-500 nanosheets(127 mAh/g) and TT-Nb_2O_5-600 nanoparticles(39 mAh/g) at a current density of 50 mA/g and good rate performance with a capacity of 140 mAh/g at 1.0 A/g. The excellent rate capability and cycling stability of orthorhombic T-Nb_2O_5 may be ascribed to the dominant contribution of pseudocapacitive effect. In cervicities rat models infected mixedly by Escherichia coli,Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Staphylococcus aureus,Zijin Huadu suppositories at the doses of 1. 2 and 0. 6 g/( kg·d) had significant inhibitory effect on pathological changes of cervical tissues. In cervicitis rat models induced by chemical substances,Zijin Huadu suppositories at the dose of1. 2 g/( kg·d) had significant inhibitory effect on vagina and cervix lesions in rats. | 12 | Feedforward loop profile among transcription factor, miRNA and mRNA in influenza A virus-infected mouse lungs显示文摘Purpose:In the present study,we focused on the 46 microRNAs and 719 genes in the microRNA-gene network,reported by us,and aimed to build a research blueprint of feedforward loops and reveal the key TFs in H1N1-infected mouse lung.Method:Based on microRNAs and genes in the microRNA-gene network previously reported by us,we used Jemboss software to find relationships between TFs and microRNAs(or genes),and then built a TF-microRNA-gene network exploiting the interactions between TFs and microRNAs(or genes).Next,we searched the sequences of above genes or microRNAs near the transcription start site(TSS)area,and then used the MatchTM algorithm to predict relevant TFs,and built the TF-Gene-Network.Result:We built a TF-microRNAgene network and exploreed eight key TFs,namely NF-AT1,GKLF,SRY,SOX10,AML1,MZF1,CRX and myogenin,in the network,and then constructed subgraphs of these eight TFs.Simultaneously,we predicted the possible target genes of microRNAs and identified the feedforward regulation relationship of possible TFs,microRNAs and mRNAs.The results showed that all eight factors with a score greater than 100 were TFs,namely NF-AT1,GKLF,SRY,SOX10,AML1,CRX,myogenin and MZF1.We then constructed subtables of the above eight TFs.Conclusion:In this study,TFs including NF-AT1,GKLF,SRY,SOX10,AML1,MZF1,CRX and myogenin showed the highest score(>100)not only in the TF-microRNA-gene network but also in feedforward loops,indicating that these eight TFs play the most important roles in mouse H1N1 influenza virus infection biology. | Yanyan Bao Yujing Shi Yingjie Gao Lirun Zhou Xiaolan Cui | 2019 | Medical Data Mining2019,2,4: | 0 |

| 15 | Antidepressant Effect of Shenwei Ningyu Tablets on Rat Chronic Stress Model and Mouse Tail Suspension Model显示文摘[Objectives]To explore the antidepressant effect of Shenwei Ningyu Tablet,a new antidepressant traditional Chinese medicine,on rat chronic stress depression model and mouse tail suspension models.[Methods]Rat chronic stress model:except for the normal group,the rats in other groups were given corresponding chronic stress,and administered by gavage 1 h before modeling,for a total of 21 d.The changes of each indicator before and after the experiment were observed through the body weight change,the sugar water test,and open field test.The relevant hormone levels were detected by radioimmunoassay.Mouse tail suspension depression model:after continuous administration for 7 d,the activity times was recorded with the mouse automatic recorder,and the mouse immobility time was recorded after tail suspension,to explore the effects of each administration group on the tail suspension immobility time of mice.[Results]Chronic stress depression model:21 d after modeling,compared with the normal group,rats in the model group exhibited significantly reduced body weight,sucrose preference index,and horizontal and vertical movement scores(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the low-dose Shenwei Ningyu Tablets group had significant differences in the sugar water test,horizontal and vertical movement scores(P<0.05).In addition,all three dose groups of Shenwei Ningyu Tablets could effectively reduce the content of CRF in chronic stress model rats,and the low dose group could significantly reduce the ACTH level in model rats(P<0.05).Mouse tail suspension depression model:the immobility time after tail suspension in each administration group was significantly different from that in the model group(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Shenwei Ningyu Tablets has a certain anti-depression effect on both the rat chronic stress depression model and the mouse tail suspension depression model. | Yaxin WANG Shanshan GUO Yingjie GAO Ya TU Xiaolan CUI | 2022 | Medicinal Plant2022,13,2: | 0 |
