| 1 | High-performance PVDF-HFP based gel polymer electrolyte with a safe solvent in Li metal polymer battery显示文摘Poly(vinylidenefluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP)based gel polymer electrolytes are widely studied owing to their electrochemical stability and high dielectric constant.However,most gel polymer electrolytes show unsatisfied safety and interface compatibility due to excessive absorption of volatile and flammable liquid solvents.Herein,by using a safe solvent(N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone)with higher boiling(203℃)and flash points(95℃),we initiatively fabricate a flexible PVDF-HFP based gel polymer electrolyte.The obtained gel polymer electrolyte demonstrates a high ionic conductivity of 7.24×10^−4 S cm−1,an electrochemical window of 5.2 V,and a high lithium transference number of 0.57.As a result,the synthesized polymer electrolyte exhibits a capacity retention of 70%after 500 cycles at 0.5 C,and a discharge capacity of 86 mAh g−1 even at a high current rate of 10 C for LiFePO4 based Li metal batteries.Moreover,a stable Li plating/stripping for more than 500 h is achieved under 0.1 mAh at both room temperature and 70℃.Our results indicate that the PVDF-HFP polymer electrolyte is promising for manufacturing safe and high-performance Li metal polymer batteries. | Jing Jie Yulong Liu Lina Cong Bohao Zhang Wei Lu Xinming Zhang Jun Liu Haiming Xie Liqun Sun | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10: | 10 |

| 4 | Serum osmolality and ions,and gill Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase of spottedtail goby Synechogobius ommaturus(R.)in response to acute salinity changes显示文摘This study was carried out to determine the effects of abrupt salinity change on osmoregulatory ability of the spottedtail goby Synechogobius ommaturus.720 juvenile fish(65.3±11.8 g)were transferred to 200 L tanks(with 40 juveniles in each tank),in which salinities were abruptly changed from 10 to 20,30,40,50 and freshwater.Survival rate,serum osmolality,electrolytes(Na^(+),Cl^(-),and K^(+))and gill Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase(NKA)activity were assessed successively in 528 h.Results showed serum osmolality,ion concentrations and gill Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase activity increased significantly when fish were transferred to salinity 40 and 50 and all fish in these groups died by the end of the experiment.Serum osmolality,Na^(+),Cl^(-)and K^(+)in fish transferred to a salinity of 20,30 and freshwater were not affected and no mortality was detected.Compared with the control group,a significantly decrease of NKA activity happened in the freshwater group,but the activity in 20 and 30 groups was not affected significantly.The results indicated that S.ommaturus could adapt rapidly and maintain homeostasis in a wide range of salinities(from freshwater to salinity 30)and this species may be suitable for aquaculture in estuarine and coastal areas where rapid salinity fluctuations commonly occur. | Chun Shui Yonghai Shi Xueming Hua Zhonghua Zhang Haiming Zhang Genhai Lu Yongde Xie | 2018 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2018,3,2: | 4 |
| 5 | “Polymer-in-ceramic” based poly(ε-caprolactone)/ceramic composite electrolyte for all-solid-state batteries显示文摘Inspired by the concept of 'polymer-in-ceramic',a composite poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL)/ceramic containing LiTFSI is prepared and investigated as a solid electrolyte for all-solid-state batteries.The composite with the optimum concentration of 45 wt% LiTFSI and 75 wt% Li1.5Al0.5Ge1.5(PO4)3(LAGP,NASICON-type structure) exhibits a high ionic conductivity(σi=0.17 mS cm-1) at 30℃,a transference number of 0.30,and is stable up to 5.0 V.The composite electrolyte is a flexible and self-standing membrane.Solid-state LiFePO4//Li batteries with this composite electrolyte demonstrate excellent cycling stability with high discharge capacity of 157 mA h g-1,high capacity retention of 96% and coulombic efficiency of 98.5% after 130 cycles at 30℃ and 0.1 C rate.These electrochemical properties are better than other PCL-based allsolid-lithium batteries,and validate the concept of 'polymer-in-ceramic' by avoiding the drawback of lower conductivity in prior 'polymer-in-ceramic' electrolyte at high concentration of the ceramic. | Bohao Zhang Yulong Liu Jia Liu Liqun Sun Lina Cong Fang Fu Alain Mauger Christian M.Julien Haiming Xie Xiumei Pan | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1: | 4 |
| 6 | Spatial distribution of IL4 controls iNKT cell-DC crosstalk in tumors显示文摘The spatiotemporal distribution of cytokines orchestrates immune responses in vivo,yet the underlying mechanisms remain to be explored.We showed here that the spatial distribution of interleukin-4(IL4)in invariant natural killer T(iNKT)cells regulated crosstalk between iNKT cells and dendritic cells(DCs)and controlled iNKT cell-mediated T-helper type 1(Th1)responses.The persistent polarization of IL4 induced by strong lipid antigens,that is,α-galactosylceramide(αGC),caused IL4 accumulation at the immunological synapse(IS),which promoted the activation of the IL4R-STAT6(signal transducer and activator of transcription 6)pathway and production of IL12 in DCs,which enhanced interferon-γ(IFNγ)production in iNKT cells.Conversely,the nonpolarized secretion of IL4 induced by Th2 lipid antigens with a short or unsaturated chain was incapable of enhancing this iNKT cell-DC crosstalk and thus shifted the immune response to a Th2-type response.The nonpolarized secretion of IL4 in response to Th2 lipid antigens was caused by the degradation of Cdc42 in iNKT cells.Moreover,reduced Cdc42 expression was observed in tumorinfiltrating iNKT cells,which impaired IL4 polarization and disturbed iNKT cell-DC crosstalk in tumors. | Lu Wang Zhilan Liu Lili Wang Qielan Wu Xiang Li Di Xie Huimin Zhang Yongdeng Zhang Lusheng Gu Yanhong Xue Ting Yue Gang Liu Wei Ji Haiming Wei Tao Xu Li Bai | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,5: | 4 |

| 11 | Fiber guiding at the Dirac frequency beyond photonic bandgaps显示文摘Light trapping within waveguides is a key practice of modern optics,both scientifically and technologically.Photonic crystal fibers traditionally rely on total internal reflection(index-guiding fibers)or a photonic bandgap(photonic-bandgap fibers)to achieve field confinement.Here,we report the discovery of a new light trapping within fibers by the so-called Dirac point of photonic band structures.Our analysis reveals that the Dirac point can establish suppression of radiation losses and consequently a novel guided mode for propagation in photonic crystal fibers.What is known as the Dirac point is a conical singularity of a photonic band structure where wave motion obeys the famous Dirac equation.We find the unexpected phenomenon of wave localization at this point beyond photonic bandgaps.This guiding relies on the Dirac point rather than total internal reflection or photonic bandgaps,thus providing a sort of advancement in conceptual understanding over the traditional fiber guiding.The result presented here demonstrates the discovery of a new type of photonic crystal fibers,with unique characteristics that could lead to new applications in fiber sensors and lasers.The Dirac equation is a special symbol of relativistic quantum mechanics.Because of the similarity between band structures of a solid and a photonic crystal,the discovery of the Dirac-point-induced wave trapping in photonic crystals could provide novel insights into many relativistic quantum effects of the transport phenomena of photons,phonons,and electrons. | Kang Xie Wei Zhang Allan D Boardman Haiming Jiang Zhijia Hu Yong Liu Ming Xie Qiuping Mao Lei Hu Qian Li Tianyu Yang Fei Wen Erlei Wang | 2015 | Light(Science & Applications)2015,4,1: | 1 |
