1Mn3O4 nanoparticles@reduced graphene oxide composite:An efficient electrocatalyst for artificial N2 fixation to NH3 at ambient conditions显示文摘Currently,industrial-scale NH3 production almost relies on energy-intensive Haber-Bosch process from atmospheric N2 with large amount of CO2 emission,while low-cost and high-efficient catalysts are demanded for the N2 reduction reaction (NRR).In this study,Mn3O4 nanoparticles@reduced graphene oxide (Mn3O4@rGO) composite is reported as an efficient NRR electrocatalyst with excellent selectivity for NH3 formation.In 0.1 M Na2SO4 solution,such catalyst obtains a NH3 yield of 17.4 μg·h^-1·mg^-1cat.and a Faradaic efficiency of 3.52% at-0.85 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode.Notably,it also shows high electrochemical stability during electrolysis process.Density functional theory (DFT) calculations also demonstrate that the (112) planes of Mn3O4 possess superior NRR activity.Hong Huang Feng Gong Yuan Wang Huanbo Wang Xiufeng Wu Wenbo Lu Runbo Zhao Hongyu Chen Xifeng Shi Abdullah M.Asiri Tingshuai Li Qian Liu Xuping Sun 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:8
2Construction of interesting organic supramolecular structures with synthons cooperation in the cocrystals of 1H-benzotriazole and hydroxybenzoic acids显示文摘Multifunctional molecules are capable of assembling via different supramolecular synthons,or hydrogen bond motifs,between the same or different functional groups,leading to the possibility of cocrystal.Utilization of the interplay of dimensionality(1-D,2-D and 3-D),orientation of functional groups of the building blocks,influence of rigid/flexible linking groups,and weak interactions provides an interesting route for the creation of novel supramolecular architectures in the crystal lattice.N-unsubstituted 1H-benzotriazole and carboxylic acid,being self-complementary molecules,offer a broad scope of study of binary compounds based on the complementary combination of H-bonding/donating sites.We report here the construction of three extended molecular networks in cocrystals of the carboxylic acid group of the acid and the 1H-benzotriazole triazole moiety.We have been able to identify four major supramolecualr synthons that would be helpful in the prediction of structural motifs for these kinds of studies.Interestingly,these heterosynthons are strikingly similar,to those of the homosynthons of the individual functional groups.The nature of the aza groups helps to enhance the overall volume of the crystal lattice thus leading to the formation of various supramolecular assemblies.Thermal stability of these compounds has been investigated by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) of mass loss.WANG Lei ZHAO Lei XUE RuiYu LU XiFeng WEN YongHong YANG Yu 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,12:2
3Nanotrap-enabled quantification of KRAS-induced peptide hydroxylation in blood for cancer early detection显示文摘Circulating peptide is a potential source of biomarkers for cancer detection.However,the existence of large molecular weight proteins in plasma have a disastrous effect on circulating peptides isolating and detecting.Herein,nanotrap fractionation following by mass spectrometry have been applied to quantify the levels of bradykinin (BK) and hydroxylated bradykinin (Hyp-BK) as a relative measure of KRAS-regulated prolyl-4-hydroxylase alpha-1 (P4HA1) which may serve as early diagnosis marker for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).We found that P4HA1 can be upregulated by KRASG12v,which is a PDAC driver mutation,using HPNE/KRAS and HPNE cells.And we revealed that P4HA1 is overexpressed in PDAC tumors,compared to normal and inflamed pancreatic tissues.RNA interference revealed that P4HA1 activity was primarily responsible for Hyp-BK production.Mass spectrometry analysis revealed that plasma Hyp-BK/BK ratio was higher in PDAC than pancreatitis patients and healthy controls,while the area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) is 0.8209 (95%Cl,0.7269-0.9149).The Hyp-BK/BK association with PDAC was reproduced in another cohort,where this ratio was found to increase with advancing tumor stage.These novel findings paved the way for wider applications of Nanotrap coupled mass spectrometry as a powerful tool for revealing biosignatures from plasma.Zaian Deng Zhen Zhao Bo Ning Jeffery Basilio Karen Mann Jie Fu Yajun Gu Yuanqing Ye Xifeng Wu Jia Fan Paul Chiao Tony Hu 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:2

9Electroacupuncture upregulated platelet derived growth factor expression in spared dorsal root ganglion of cats显示文摘A bilateral spared dorsal root ganglion model was established in healthy adult cats by bilateral resection of L 1-5 and L 7 -S 2 dorsal root ganglia. L 6 dorsal root ganglia were spared. Zusanli (ST36) and Xuanzhong (BL39) or Futu (ST32) and Sanyinjiao (SP6) were alternatively electro-stimulated on the right leg. Immunohistochemical staining of anti-serum platelet-derived growth factor demonstrated that the number of total neurons and medium-small sized platelet-derived growth factor positive neurons was significantly decreased on the 7 th day following injury. After 7 days of acupuncture, the total number of positive and large neurons staining for platelet-derived growth factor on the acupuncture side significantly increased compared to the non-acupuncture side. After acupuncture for 14 days, the total positive and medium-small sized neurons significantly increased compared with the non-acupuncture side. 10Preparation of Nb3Al superconductor by powder metallurgy and effect of mechanical alloying on the phase formation显示文摘Adoption of powder-in-tube method to fabricate superconducting wire can realize a large application of Nb3Al prepared by powder metallurgy. Powder metallurgy was used to synthesize Nb3Al under various heat-treatment conditions, annealing temperature was varied from 700 to1,000 °C and heating time was varied from 10 to 50 h.X-ray diffraction patterns reveal that a reaction between Nb and Al took place and formed NbAl3phase. Under current heat-treatment conditions(annealing temperature was varied from 700 to 1,000 °C and heating time was varied from 10 to 50 h), NbAl3was so stable that it did not further react with the unreacted Nb and was not sensitive to the heat-treatment condition. By mechanical alloying, adoption of high-energy ball milling significantly decreases particle size and enhances surface free energy, which promotes the formation of Nb3Al phase. X-ray diffraction patterns indicate that relatively pure Nb3Al phase was obtained under the same heat-treatment condition. 11Smoking, smoking cessation, and survival after cancer diagnosis in 128,423 patients across cancer types显示文摘Dear Editor,Given the systemic and substantial health consequences of smoking and the significant cancer risk from smoking[1,2],it is expected that cancer patients would quit smoking after cancer diagnosis.However,the smoking rate among cancer survivors is only slightly lower than that among the general population[3,4],and 64%of smokers diagnosed with cancer continued to smoke even after they learned they had cancer[5].In addition,some former smokers may resume smoking after surviving cancer[6].A number of previous studies have investigated the association between smoking and clinical outcomes in cancer patients[1,7–10].Nevertheless,most studies were conducted in smoking-related cancers,and evidence for non-smoking-related cancers is limited.There is an urgent need for more convincing evidence showing the harms of smoking and the benefits of smoking cessation to promote smoking cessation in cancer patients and survivors.We systematically studied the associations of smoking status,smoking intensity,age at initiation,and smoking cessation at cancer diagnosis with all-cause mortality in a prospective cohort of 128,423 cancer patients across 23 cancer types from the MD Anderson Cancer Patients and Survivors Cohort.Huakang Tu Yuanqing Ye Maosheng Huang Kunlin Xie Wong-Ho Chow Hua Zhao Xifeng Wu 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,12:0
