| 5 | Basic performance and future developments of BeiDou global navigation satellite system显示文摘The core performance elements of global navigation satellite system include availability,continuity,integrity and accuracy,all of which are particularly important for the developing BeiDou global navigation satellite system(BDS-3).This paper describes the basic performance of BDS-3 and suggests some methods to improve the positioning,navigation and timing(PNT)service.The precision of the BDS-3 post-processing orbit can reach centimeter level,the average satellite clock offset uncertainty of 18 medium circular orbit satellites is 1.55 ns and the average signal-in-space ranging error is approximately 0.474 m.The future possible improvements for the BeiDou navigation system are also discussed.It is suggested to increase the orbital inclination of the inclined geostationary orbit(IGSO)satellites to improve the PNT service in the Arctic region.The IGSO satellite can perform part of the geostationary orbit(GEO)satellite’s functions to solve the southern occlusion problem of the GEO satellite service in the northern hemisphere(namely the“south wall effect”).The space-borne inertial navigation system could be used to realize continuous orbit determination during satellite maneuver.In addition,high-accuracy space-borne hydrogen clock or cesium clock can be used to maintain the time system in the autonomous navigation mode,and stability of spatial datum.Furthermore,the ionospheric delay correction model of BDS-3 for all signals should be unified to avoid user confusion and improve positioning accuracy.Finally,to overcome the vulnerability of satellite navigation system,the comprehensive and resilient PNT infrastructures are proposed for the future seamless PNT services. | Yuanxi Yang Yue Mao Bijiao Sun | 2020 | Satellite Navigation2020,1,1: | 70 |

It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. This report presents a simply modified procedure that was able to stimulate the antisera formation in one month and achieve enough avidity to satisfy either Western blot or immunohistochemistry analysis.It just applied an additional injection of the sample A to the rabbit at the 3rd day after the primary immunization injection. | 11 | Dynamic expression of apoptosis-related genes during development of laboratory hepatocellular carcinoma and its relation to apoptosis显示文摘AIM:To explore the expression of p53,bcl-2,bax,survivin and the cell apoptosis during the development of tree shrew hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),the relationship between expression of these genes,its impact on HCC development,and its relation to cell apoptosis.METHONS:Tree shrew HCC was induced with aflatoxin B1(AFB1),and regular biopsy of liver tissues was carried out and the biopsy tissues were collected during cancer inducement.Liver biopsy tisue and HCC tissue were collected from 35pre-cancerous experimental animats at wk 30 and 60 and at the 30th_,60th_,and 90th-wk,Liver biopsy tissues were collected from 13 blank control animals at wk 30,60,and 90.Expression of p53,bcl-2,bax,and survivin at each stage was examined by immunohistochemistry method.Apoptotic cells were detected in situ by the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick end labeling(tunel)technique.RESULTS:The apoptosis rate of normal hepatic cells was extremely low,whereas it increased during the formation of HCC.Expression of the apoptosis-related genes p53,bd-2,bax,and suvivin during the formation of HCC presented an increasing tendency.Expression of p53 did not noticeably relate to that of bcl-2,bax,and survivin,whereas expression of bcl-2 and bax was closely related.In HCC,p53 did not present a distinct relation to cell apoptosis,whereas its high level expression was probably related to liver cell proliferation.Survivin negetively correlated apoptosis index,and its overexpression could inhibit cell apoptosis.CONCLUSION:Apoptosis-related genes p53,bcl-2,bax,and survivin are all related to the occurrence of HCC.The anti-apoptosis effect of bcl-2 is influenced by bax,and ratio bcl/bax reflects more correctly the extent of cell apoptosis. | Xiao-Xian Duan Jing-Sheng Ou Yuan Li Jian-Jia Su Chao Ou Chun Yang Hui-Fen Yue Ke-Chen Ban | 2005 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2005,11,30: | 38 |

Each provides unique historical insights into early metazoan evolution. Among the more than 40 globally distributed biotas, the early Cambrian Chengjiang and Middle Cambrian Burgess-type biotas are the largest. The Kaili Biota, from the earliest Middle Cambrian of Guizhou, China, contains representatives of 110 metazoan genera belonging to 10 phyla. It contains many well-persevered soft-bodied specimens. This Chinese biota has become the third most taxonomically diverse Burgess Shale-type fauna. Because the Kaili Biota formed in an outer-shelf environment, its main faunal character is large numbers of eocrinoids and planktoic trilobites. The Kaili is younger than the Chengjiang Biota but older than the Canadian Burgess Shale Biota; it shares 30 genera with the Chengjiang and 38 genera with the Burgess Biota. | 16 | A Genetic Pathway for Tapetum Development and Function in Arabidopsis显示文摘In anther development, tapetal cells take part in complex processes, including endomitosis and apoptosis (programmed cell death). The tapetum provides many of the proteins, lipids, polysaccharides and other molecules necessary for pollen development. Several transcription factors, including DYT1, TDF1, AMS, MS188 and MS1, have been reported to be essential for tapetum development and function in Arabidopsis thaliana. Here, we present a detailed cytological analysis of knockout mutants for these genes, along with an in situ RNA hybridization experiment and double mutant analysis showing that these transcription factors form a genetic pathway in tapetum development. DYT1, TDF1 and AMS function in early tapetum development, while MS188 and MS1 are important for late tapetum development. | 17 | Terrestrial carbon sinks in China and around the world and their contribution to carbon neutrality显示文摘Enhancing the terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink(referred to as terrestrial C sink) is an important way to slow down the continuous increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) concentration and to achieve carbon neutrality target.To better understand the characteristics of terrestrial C sinks and their contribution to carbon neutrality,this review summarizes major progress in terrestrial C budget researches during the past decades,clarifies spatial patterns and drivers of terrestrial C sources and sinks in China and around the world,and examines the role of terrestrial C sinks in achieving carbon neutrality target.According to recent studies,the global terrestrial C sink has been increasing from a source of (-0.2±0.9) Pg C yr^(-1)(1 Pg=1015g)in the 1960s to a sink of (1.9±1.1) Pg C yr^(-1) in the 2010s.By synthesizing the published data,we estimate terrestrial C sink of 0.20–0.25 Pg C yr^(-1) in China during the past decades,and predict it to be 0.15–0.52 Pg C yr^(-1) by 2060.The terrestrial C sinks are mainly located in the mid-and high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere,while tropical regions act as a weak C sink or source.The C balance differs much among ecosystem types:forest is the major C sink;shrubland,wetland and farmland soil act as C sinks;and whether the grassland functions as C sink or source remains unclear.Desert might be a C sink,but the magnitude and the associated mechanisms are still controversial.Elevated atmospheric CO_(2) concentration,nitrogen deposition,climate change,and land cover change are the main drivers of terrestrial C sinks,while other factors such as fires and aerosols would also affect ecosystem C balance.The driving factors of terrestrial C sink differ among regions.Elevated CO_(2) concentration and climate change are major drivers of the C sinks in North America and Europe,while afforestation and ecological restoration are additionally important forcing factors of terrestrial C sinks in China.For future studies,we recommend the necessity for intensive and long-term ecosystem C monitoring over broad geographic scale to improve terrestrial biosphere models for accurately evaluating terrestrial C budget and its dynamics under various climate change and policy scenarios. | Yuanhe Yang Yue Shi Wenjuan Sun Jinfeng Chang Jianxiao Zhu Leiyi Chen Xin Wang Yanpei Guo Hongtu Zhang Lingfei Yu Shuqing Zhao Kang Xu Jiangling Zhu Haihua Shen Yuanyuan Wang Yunfeng Peng Xia Zhao Xiangping Wang Huifeng Hu Shiping Chen Mei Huang Xuefa Wen Shaopeng Wang Biao Zhu Shuli Niu Zhiyao Tang Lingli Liu Jingyun Fang | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5: | 32 |
| 18 | The Association of Maternal Body Composition and Dietary Intake with the Risk of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus during the Second Trimester in a Cohort of Chinese Pregnant Women显示文摘Objective To investigate the association of maternal body composition and dietary intake with the risk of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM). Methods A total 154 GDM subjects and 981 controls were enrolled in a prospective cohort study in 11 hospitals from May 20, 2012 to December 31, 2013. Bioelectrical impedance analysis and dietary surveys were used to determine body composition and to evaluate the intake of nutrients in subjects at 21-24 weeks' gestation(WG). Logistic regression analysis was applied to explore the relationships of maternal body composition and dietary intake with the risk of GDM morbidity. Results Age, pre-pregnant body weight(BW), and body mass index(BMI) were associated with increased risk of GDM. Fat mass(FM), fat mass percentage(FMP), extracellular water(ECW), BMI, BW, energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrates at 21-24 WG were associated with an increased risk of GDM. In contrast, fat free mass(FFM), muscular mass(MM), and intracellular water(ICW) were associated with a decreased risk of GDM.
