1Global approximation based adaptive RBF neural network control for supercavitating vehicles显示文摘A global approximation based adaptive radial basis function(RBF) neural network control strategy is proposed for the trajectory tracking control of supercavitating vehicles(SV).A nominal model is built firstly with the unknown disturbance.Next, the control scheme is established consisting of a computed torque controller(CTC) for the practical vehicle and an RBF neural network controller to estimate model error between the practical vehicle and the nominal model. The network weights are adapted by employing a Lyapunov-based design. Then it is shown by the Lyapunov theory that the trajectory tracking errors asymptotically converge to a small neighborhood of zero. 2Effect of Tongluojiunao injection made from Sanqi(Radix Notoginseng) and Zhizi(Fructus Gardeniae) on brain microvascular endothelial cells and astrocytes in an in vitro ischemic model显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of Tongluojiunao injection(TLJN) prepared with Sanqi(Radix Notoginseng) and Zhizi(Fructus Gardeniae) on the interaction between brain microvascular endothelial cells(BMECs) and astrocytes in an in vitro ischemic model.METHODS: First, an in vitro model of cerebral ischemia in BMECs or astrocytes was established by oxygen-glucose deprivation(OGD). TLJN was used as a medicine of intervention. The OGD-injuredBMECs were cultured in various astrocyte-conditioned media. Cell activity, alkaline phosphatase(AKP) and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase(γ-GT) activity,interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β), and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) content in BMECs were determined.Additionally, OGD-injured astrocytes were cultured in various BMEC-conditioned media. Cell activity, as well as expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) and glial cell-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF) in astrocytes, were detected.RESULTS: The results of paracrine signaling of normal BMECs or astrocytes showed a protective effect on each other: conditioned media from normal astrocytes improved cell viability, AKP, and γ-GT activity, and reduced IL-1β and TNF-α content of injured BMECs; conditioned media from normal BMECs improved cell viability and expression of BDNF and GDNF in injured astrocytes. However, once the BMECs or astrocytes were injured by OGD, the protective effect decreased or disappeared. 3Comprehensive Investigation and Assessment of Nutrient and Heavy Metal Contamination in the Surface Water of Coastal Bohai Sea in China显示文摘With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization of coastal regions,eutrophication and metal pollution have caused serious environmental problems in China.To better understand the potential environmental risks associated with nutrients and heavy metals,the surface water was comprehensively investigated in the coastal Bohai Sea.A total of 150 sites were sampled from seven coastal regions,and the concentrations of nutrients(DIN and DIP)and metals(Cd,Pb,Zn,Cu,Cr,As and Hg)in the surface seawater were measured.The results showed that the DIN concentration of about 50%sites exceeded the Grade-I of Seawater Quality Standard of China.Due to high concentrations of DIN,the status of eutrophication was serious in the Bohai Bay and Shuangtaizi Estuary.According to Seawater Quality Standard of China,Pb,Zn,Hg and Cu were the main metal pollutants in the coastal Bohai Sea.There was generally low ecological risk caused by heavy metals,but certain hotspots existed near Shuangtaizi Estuary and Changxingdao Island.LIN Heshan LI Hongjun YANG Xiaolong XU Zizhou TONG Yindong YU Xingguang 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,4:2
4A Dynamic and Quantitative Study of Pattern Visual Evoked Potentials and Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid Neurones in the Lateral Geniculate Nucleus and the Visual Cortex of Monocular Deprivation Cats显示文摘Purpose: To assess the effects of monocular lid closure during critical period on cortical activity.Method: Pattern visual evoked potentials (PVEP) of the normal and the monocular deprivation (MD) cats were dynamically measured and the number of gam-maaminobutyric acid immunopositive (GABA-IP) neurones of the area 17 of the visual cortex and the lateral geniculate nucleus (LGN) was quantitatively compared by using immunohistochemical method (ABC).Result: The amplitude of the N1-P1 attenuated in deprived eyes (DE) , NE/DE at postnatal week (PNW) 7-8 (P<0. 05), NE/DE at PNW 15-16 (P<0. 01); while P1 latency delayed, NE/DE at PNW 7-8 (P>0. 05), NE/DE at PNW 15 - 16(P<0. 05). 6Triamcinolone Intravitreal Injection and Intraocular Pressure in Macular Edema Associated with Retinal Vein Occlusion显示文摘Purpose:To study the risk factors of increased intraocular pressure (IOP) response to triamcinolone acetonide intravitreal (IVTA) injection in eyes with macular edema associated with retinal vein occlusion. Methods:Eighty-nine eyes with macular edema associated with retinal vein occlusion first received periocular injection of 40 mg triamcinolone acetonide (TA) and were followed for one month. According to the diversity of IOP after periocular TA (PTA) injection, they were divided into the elevation IOP group (group A, 26 eyes) and the normal IOP group (group B,63 eyes).They then received 4 mg TA intravitreal injection.IOP measurements were recorded after PTA and IVTA injections, and were followed for six months. Results: Both PTA and IVTA injections caused a rise in IOP, but it was higher in the IVTA injection (40.45%) than in the PTA injection (29.21%). The mean rise in IOP was more significant in eyes with IVTA injection (28.08 ± 8.24 mmHg) than in eyes with PTA injection (20.87 ± 4.07 mmHg). Patients with an elevation IOP above 6 mmHg after PTA injection had a 73.08% chance of developing a pressure of 24 mmHg or higher,whereas only 12.70% of those with an elevation IOP below 6 mmHg after PTA injection experienced pressure elevation. Conclusion:IOP response to PTA injection is a good way to judge IOP response to IVTA. 7Decoupling Algorithms for the Gravitational Wave Spacecraft显示文摘The gravitational wave spacecraft is a complex multi-input multi-output dynamic system.The gravitational wave detection mission requires the spacecraft to achieve single spacecraft with two laser links and high-precision control.Establishing one spacecraftwith two laser links,compared to one spacecraft with a single laser link,requires an upgraded decoupling algorithmfor the link establishment.The decoupling algorithmwe designed reassigns the degrees of freedomand forces in the control loop to ensure sufficient degrees of freedomfor optical axis control.In addressing the distinct dynamic characteristics of different degrees of freedom,a transfer function compensation method is used in the decoupling process to further minimize motion coupling.The open-loop frequency response of the systemis obtained through simulation.The upgraded decoupling algorithms effectively reduce the open-loop frequency response by 30 dB.The transfer function compensation method efficiently suppresses the coupling of low-frequency noise.XueWang Weizhou Zhu Zhao Cui Xingguang Qian Jinke Yang Jianjun Jia Yikun Wang 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,140,7:0
8Exploring the links between gut microbiome changes and irritable bowel syndrome in Han populations in the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The gut microbiome shows changes under a plateau environment,while the disbalance of intestinal microbiota plays an important role in the pathogenesis of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS);however,the relationship between the two remains unexplored.In this work,we followed up a healthy cohort for up to a year before and after living in a plateau environment and performed 16S ribosomal RNA(rRNA)sequencing analysis of their fecal samples.Through evaluating the participants’clinical symptoms,combined with an IBS questionnaire,we screened the IBS sub-population in our cohort.The sequencing results showed that a high-altitude environment could lead to changes in the diversity and composition of gut flora.In addition,we found that the longer the time volunteers spent in the plateau environment,the more similar their gut microbiota composition and abundance became compared to those before entering the plateau,and IBS symptoms were significantly alleviated.Therefore,we speculated that the plateau may be a special environment that induces IBS.The taxonomic units g_Alistipes,g_Oscillospira,and s_Ruminococcus_torques,which had been proved to play important roles in IBS pathogenesis,were also abundant in the IBS cohort at high altitudes.Overall,the disbalance of gut microbiota induced by the plateau environment contributed to the high frequency of IBS and the psychosocial abnormalities associated with IBS.Our results prompt further research to elucidate the relevant mechanism.Xingguang ZHANG Wei XU Weilong ZHONG Wencheng ZHANG Cheng YANG Lisa DUAN Haiyan NIU Yanmei DONG Taotao LIU Shihai XIA Bangmao WANG 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,9:0
9Experimental and theoretical studies on NO selective catalytic oxidation over α-MnO_(2)显示文摘Based on the experimental and theoretical methods,the NO selective catalytic oxidation process was proposed.The experimental results indicated that lattice oxygen was the active site for NO oxide over the α-MnO_(2)(110) surface.In the theoretical study,DFT (density functional theory) and periodic slab modeling were performed on an α-MnO_(2)(110) surface,and two possible NO oxidation mechanisms over the surface were proposed.The non-defectα-MnO_(2)(110) surface showed the highest stability,and the surface Os(the second layer oxygen atoms) position was the most active and stable site.O_(2)molecule enhanced the joint adsorption process of two NO molecules.The reaction process,including O_(2)dissociation and O=N-O-O-N=O formation,was calculated to carry out the NO catalytic oxidation mechanism over α-MnO_(2)(110).The results showed that NO oxidation over the α-MnO_(2)(110) surface exhibited the greatest possibility following the route of O=N-O-O-N=O formation.Meanwhile,the formation of O=N-O-O-N=O was the rate-determining step.Xingguang Hao Jie Yang Xin Sun Ping Ning Kai Li Yuan Li Yuejiao Hao Xin Song 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,4:0
