Global approximation based adaptive RBF neural network control for supercavitating vehicles显示文摘A global approximation based adaptive radial basis function(RBF) neural network control strategy is proposed for the trajectory tracking control of supercavitating vehicles(SV).A nominal model is built firstly with the unknown disturbance.Next, the control scheme is established consisting of a computed torque controller(CTC) for the practical vehicle and an RBF neural network controller to estimate model error between the practical vehicle and the nominal model. The network weights are adapted by employing a Lyapunov-based design. Then it is shown by the Lyapunov theory that the trajectory tracking errors asymptotically converge to a small neighborhood of zero. The control performance of the proposed controller is illustrated by simulation.LI Yang LIU Mingyong ZHANG Xiaojian PENG Xingguang 2018Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2018,29,4:11
Synthesis of CNT film on the surface of micro-pyramid array and its intense pulsed emission characteristics显示文摘We developed a new scheme to suppress the electric-field-screening effect in high growth density of a carbon nanotube(CNT) film during its intense pulsed emission. We synthesize the CNT film on a tridimensional surface(t-CNT film). The tridimensional surface includes wet etched silicon pyramids, and the Ni layer is electroless plated thereon. The intense pulsed emission characteristics of the t-CNT and planar-grown CNT(p-CNT) films were measured using a diode structure in single-pulse mode. The even turn-on field decreased from 5.5 V/μm for p-CNTs to 2.8 V/m for t-CNTs,and the peak emission current increased from 232 A for p-CNTs to 324 A for t-CNTs at a peak field intensity ~12.2 V/m.The peak current of the t-CNT film increased by ~39.7% over the p-CNT film.It is clear that the micro-pyramid array can effectively suppress the field screening effect to improve the electron-emission of CNT films.ZENG FanGuang LI Xin LIU WeiHua QIAO ShuZhen MA HuaLi ZHANG Rui XIA LianSheng CHEN Yi LIU XingGuang ZHANG Huang 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,14:10
Interferon-inducible cytoplasmic lncLrrc55-AS promotes antiviral innate responses by strengthening IRF3 phosphorylation显示文摘Type I interferon (IFN-I) production is efficiently induced to ensure a potent innate immune response to viral infection. How this response can be enhanced, however, remains to be explored. Here, we identify a new cytoplasmic long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), lncLrrc55-AS, that drives a positive feedback loop to promote interferon regulatory factor 3 (IRF3) signaling and IFN-I production. We show that lncLrrc55-AS is virus-induced in multiple cell types via the IFN-JAK-STAT pathway. LncLrrc55-AS-deficient mice display a weakened antiviral immune response and are more susceptible to viral challenge. Mechanistically, lncLrrc55-AS binds phosphatase methylesterase 1 (PME-1), and promotes the interaction between PME-1 and the phosphatase PP2A, an inhibitor of IRF3 signaling. LncLrrc55-AS supports PME-1-mediated demethylation and inactivation of PP2A, thereby enhancing IRF3 phosphorylation and signaling. Loss of PME-1 phenocopies lncLrrc55-AS deficiency, leading to diminished IRF3 phosphorylation and IFN-I production. We have identified an IFN-induced lncRNA as a positive regulator of IFN-I production, adding mechanistic insight into lncRNA-mediated regulation of signaling in innate immunity and inflammation.Yumei Zhou Mengxuan Li Yiquan Xue Zhiqing Li Weitao Wen Xingguang Liu Yuanwu Ma Lianfeng Zhang Zhongyang Shen Xuetao Cao 2019Cell Research2019,29,8:8
Time-varying fault-tolerant formation tracking based cooperative control and guidance for multiple cruise missile systems under actuator failures and directed topologies显示文摘This paper studies time-varying fault-tolerant formation tracking problems for the multiple cruise missile system under directed topologies subjected to actuator failures. Firstly, the timevarying fault-tolerant formation tracking process for the multiple cruise missile system is divided into the guidance loop and the control loop. Then protocols are constructed to accomplish distributed fault-tolerant formation tracking in the guidance loop with the adaptive updating mechanism, in the condition where neither the knowledge about actuator malfunctions nor any global information of the communication topology remains available. Moreover, sufficient conditions to accomplish formation tracking are presented, and it is shown that the multiple cruise missile system can carry on the predefined time-varying fault-tolerant control (FTC) formation tracking through the active disturbances rejection controller (ADRC) and the proportion integration (PI) controller by the way of the fault-tolerant protocol utilizing the designed strategies, in the event of actuator failures. At last, numerical analysis and simulation are designed to verify the theoretical results.XU Xingguang WEI Zhenyan REN Zhang LI Shusheng 2019Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2019,30,3:8
Improvement in the intense pulsed emission stability of grown CNT films via an electroless plated Ni layer显示文摘Carbon nanotube(CNT)films were grown on silicon wafers with and without a nickel layer(Si-CNT and Ni-CNT)via the pyrolysis of iron phthalocyanine. The nickel layer was prepared using the electroless plating method. To study the emission stability of Si-CNT and Ni-CNT cathodes during intense pulsed emission, emission characteristics were measured repeatedly with a diode structure using a Marx generator as a voltage source. For the peak values of the pulsed voltage, which were in the range between 1.62-1.66 MV(corresponding to electric field intensities between 11.57-11.85 V/μm),the first cycle emission current was 109.4 A for Si-CNT and 180.5 A for Ni-CNT.By comparing the normalized emission currents of the Si-CNT and Ni-CNT cathodes, the improvement in the emission stability can be easily quantified. The number of emission cycles necessary for the peak current to decay from 100%to 50%increased from^3 for Si-CNT to^11 for a Ni-CNT film.ZENG FanGuang LI Xin LIU WeiHua QIAO ShuZhen MA HuaLi ZHANG Rui XIA LianSheng CHEN Yi LIU XingGuang ZHANG Huang 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,22:7
Mycorrhizal symbiosis modulates the rhizosphere microbiota to promote rhizobia–legume symbiosis显示文摘Plants establish symbioses with mutualistic fungi, such as arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi, and bacteria, such as rhizobia,to exchange key nutrients and thrive.Plants and symbionts have coevolved and represent vital components of terrestrial ecosystems.Plants employ an ancestral AM signaling pathway to establish intracellular symbioses, including the legume–rhizobia symbiosis,in their roots.Nevertheless, the relationship between the AM and rhizobial symbioses in native soil is poorly understood. Here,we examined how these distinct symbioses affect root-associated bacterial communities in Medicago truncatula by performing quantitative microbiota profiling(QMP)of 16S rRNA genes. We found that M.truncatula mutants that cannot establish AM or rhizobia symbiosis have an altered microbial load(quantitative abundance)in the rhizosphere and roots, and in particular that AM symbiosis is required to assemble a normal quantitative root-associated microbiota in native soil. Moreover, quantitative microbial co-abundance network analyses revealed that AM symbiosis affects Rhizobiales hubs among plant microbiota and benefits the plant holobiont.Through QMP of rhizobial rpoB and AM fungal SSU rRNA genes,we revealed a new layer of interaction whereby AM symbiosis promotes rhizobia accumulation in the rhizosphere of M.truncatula.We further showed that AM symbiosis-conditioned microbial communities within the M.truncatula rhizosphere could promote nodulation in different legume plants in native soil.Given that the AM and rhizobial symbioses are critical for crop growth, our findings might inform strategies to improve agricultural management. Moreover, our work sheds light on the co-evolution of these intracellular symbioses during plant adaptation to native soil conditions.Xiaolin Wang Huan Feng Yayu Wang Mingxing Wang Xingguang Xie Huizhong Chang Like Wang Jicheng Qu Kai Sun Wei He Chunyan Wang Chuanchao Dai Zhaohui Chu Changfu Tian Nan Yu Xuebin Zhang Huan Liu Ertao Wang 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,3:6
Flexible Multiplexing Mechanism for Coexistence of URLLC and EMBB Services in 5G Networks显示文摘5G mobile networks are envisioned to support both evolved mobile broadband(eMBB) and ultra-reliable and low latency communications (URLLC), which may coexistand interfere with each other in the same service cell in many scenarios. In this paper, wepropose a dynamic 2-dimension bitmap resource indication to cancel eMBB services witha finer uplink cancellation granularity and a lower probability of false cancellation. Meanwhile,a resource indication based power control method is introduced to dynamically indicatedifferent power control parameters to the user equipment (UE) based on differenttime-frequency resource groups and the proportion of overlapping resources, by which thereliability of URLLC transmission is guaranteed while the impact on the performance ofthe eMBB service is minimized. Furthermore, a dynamic selection mechanism is proposedto accommodate the varying cases in different scenarios. Extensive system level simulationsare conducted and the results show that about 10.54% more URLLC UE satisfy therequirements, and the perceived throughput of eMBB UE is increased by 23.26%.XIAO Kai LIU Xing HAN Xianghui HAO Peng ZHANG Junfeng ZHOU Dong WEI Xingguang 2021ZTE Communications2021,19,2:3
Methyltransferase Dot1l preferentially promotes innate IL-6 and IFN-β production by mediating H3K79me2/3 methylation in macrophages显示文摘Epigenetic modification, including histone modification, precisely controls target gene expression. The posttranscriptional regulation of the innate signaling-triggered production of inflammatory cytokines and type I interferons has been fully elucidated, whereas the roles of histone modification alteration and epigenetic modifiers in regulating inflammatory responses need to be further explored.Di/tri-methylation modifications of histone 3 lysine 79(H3K79me2/3)have been shown to be associated with gene transcriptional activation.Disruptor of telomeric silencing-1-like(Dot1l)is the only known exclusive H3K79 methyltransferase and regulates the proliferation and differentiation of tumor cells. However, the roles of Dot1l and Dot1l-mediated H3K79 methylation in innate immunity and inflammatory responses remain unclear. Here,we found that H3K79me2/3 modification levels at the Il6 and Ifnb1 promoters,as well as H3K79me2 modification at the Tnfαpromoter, were increased in macrophages activated by Toll-like receptor(TLR)ligands or virus infection. The innate signals upregulated Dot1l expression in macrophages and THP1 cells.Dot1l silencing or a Dot1l inhibitor preferentially suppressed the production of IL-6 and interferon(IFN)-βbut not of TNFαin macrophages and THP1 cells triggered by TLR ligands or virus infection.Dot1l was recruited to the proximal promoter of the Il6 and Ifnb1 but not Tnfαgene and then mediated H3K79me2/3 modification at the Il6 and Ifnb1 promoters, consequently facilitating the transcription and expression of Il6 and Ifnb1.Thus,Dot1l-mediated selective H3K79me2/3 modifications at the Il6 and Ifnb1 promoters are required for the full activation of innate immune responses. This finding adds new insights into the epigenetic regulation of inflammatory responses and pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases.Xiang Chen Xingguang Liu Yunkai Zhang Wanwan Huai Qingqing Zhou Sheng Xu Xi Chen Nan Li Xuetao Cao 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,1:3
Composition of fish species in the Bering and Chukchi Seas and their responses to changes in the ecological environment显示文摘Based on trawl surveys in the Bering Sea and Chukchi Sea during the 2010 Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition, fish biodiversity characteristics, such as fish composition, dominant species, biodiversity, and faunal characteristics were conducted. We also discussed the responses of fishes to the quick changes in Arctic climate. The results showed that a total of 41 species in 14 families were recorded in these waters. The dominant species were Hippoglossoides robustus, Boreogadus saida, Myoxocephalus scorpius, Lumpenus fabricii, and Artediellus scaber. There were 35 coldwater species, accounting for 85.37%, and six cold temperate species, occupying 14.63%. The habitat types of fish could be grouped as follows: 35 species of demersal fishes, five benthopelagic fishes, and one pelagic fish. The Shannon–Wiener diversity index(H)(range between 0 and 2.18, 1.21 on average) was not high, and descended from south to north. Climate change has caused some fishes to shift along their latitudinal and longitudinal distribution around the Arctic and Subarctic areas, and this could lead to the decline of Arctic fishery resources.LIN Longshan CHEN Yongjun LIAO Yunchih ZHANG Jing SONG Puqing YU Xingguang WU Risheng SHAO Kwang-tsao 2014Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,6:3

Effect of Tongluojiunao injection made from Sanqi(Radix Notoginseng) and Zhizi(Fructus Gardeniae) on brain microvascular endothelial cells and astrocytes in an in vitro ischemic model显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of Tongluojiunao injection(TLJN) prepared with Sanqi(Radix Notoginseng) and Zhizi(Fructus Gardeniae) on the interaction between brain microvascular endothelial cells(BMECs) and astrocytes in an in vitro ischemic model.METHODS: First, an in vitro model of cerebral ischemia in BMECs or astrocytes was established by oxygen-glucose deprivation(OGD). TLJN was used as a medicine of intervention. The OGD-injuredBMECs were cultured in various astrocyte-conditioned media. Cell activity, alkaline phosphatase(AKP) and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase(γ-GT) activity,interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β), and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) content in BMECs were determined.Additionally, OGD-injured astrocytes were cultured in various BMEC-conditioned media. Cell activity, as well as expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) and glial cell-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF) in astrocytes, were detected.RESULTS: The results of paracrine signaling of normal BMECs or astrocytes showed a protective effect on each other: conditioned media from normal astrocytes improved cell viability, AKP, and γ-GT activity, and reduced IL-1β and TNF-α content of injured BMECs; conditioned media from normal BMECs improved cell viability and expression of BDNF and GDNF in injured astrocytes. However, once the BMECs or astrocytes were injured by OGD, the protective effect decreased or disappeared. The above-mentioned protective induction was effectively recovered by TLJN intervention.CONCLUSION: The therapeutic benefit of TLJN was achieved by recovering two-way induction between BMECs and astrocytes, enhancing activity of injured BMECs and astrocytes, stabilizing enzymatic barriers, promoting expression of neurotrophic factors, and inhibiting inflammatory cytokines.Weihong Li Xingguang Li Qinghong Du Feng Li Yuan zhu Yang Liu Jie Ma Liangqin Wan Fanghe Li Sai Zhang 2014Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,6:2

KDM2B promotes IL-6 production and inflammatory responses through Brg1-mediated chromatin remodeling显示文摘IL-6 plays important and pleiotropic roles in infection and inflammatory diseases, and its production needs to be tightly regulated. However, the epigenetic mechanism underlying Il6 gene transcription remains to be fully elucidated. Here,we report that lysine-specific demethylase 2b(KDM2B),which demethylates H3K4me3 and H3K36me2,is required in macrophages and dendritic cells for the induction of IL-6 but not TNF-α,IL-1,and IFN-β.Compared to wild-type mice,KDM2B-deficient mice were more resistant to endotoxin shock and colitis, with a less severe inflammatory pathogenesis phenotype and decreased IL-6 production in sera.KDM2B selectively bound the Il6 promoter but did not alter histone demethylation;instead,KDM2B interacted with Brahma-related gene 1(Brg1),the core ATPase subunit of SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complexes,to facilitate chromatin accessibility of the Il6 promoter.Furthermore,KDM2B directly recruited RNA Polymerase II to further initiate and promote Il6 transcription. Thus, our finding identifies a novel nonclassical function of KDM2B in gene-specific transcription initiation and enhancement of Il6 independent of its demethylase activity and adds new insight into the specific epigenetic modification mechanism of inflammatory immune responses.Qingqing Zhou Yunkai Zhang Bo Wang Wenhui Zhou Yong Bi Wanwan Huai Xi Chen Yihan Chen Zhongmin Liu Xingguang Liu Zhenzhen Zhan 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,8:2
Design and validation of the THMC China-Mock-Up test on buffer material for HLW disposal显示文摘According to the preliminary concept of the high-level radioactive waste(HLW) repository in China,a large-scale mock-up facility, named China-Mock-Up was constructed in the laboratory of Beijing Research Institute of Uranium Geology(BRIUG).A heater, which simulates a container of radioactive waste,is placed inside the compacted Gaomiaozi(CMZ)-Na-bentonite blocks and pellets.Water inflow through the barrier from its outer surface is used to simulate the intake of groundwater. The numbers of water injection pipes, injection pressure and the insulation layer were determined based on the numerical modeling simulations. The current experimental data of the facility are herein analyzed. The experiment is intended to evaluate the thermo-hydro-mechano-chemical(THMC) processes occurring in the compacted bentonite-buffer during the early stage of HLW disposal and to provide a reliable database for numerical modeling and further investigation of engineered barrier system(EBS),and the design of HLW repository.Yuemiao Liu Like Ma Dan Ke Shengfei Cao Jingli Xie Xingguang Zhao Liang Chena Panpan Zhang 2014Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2014,6,2:2

Glycolipid iGb3 feedback amplifies innate immune responses via CD1d reverse signaling显示文摘The cross-talk between cellular lipid metabolism and the innate immune responses remains obscure. In addition to presenting lipid antigens to Natural Killer T-cells (NKT cells), the Cluster of Differentiation 1D Glycoprotein (CD1d) might mediate reverse signaling in antigen-presenting cells (APCs). Here we found CD1d deficiency attenuated Toll-like receptor (TLR)-triggered inflammatory innate responses in macrophages and dendritic cells, protecting mice from endotoxin shock. TLR activation in macrophages induced metabolic changes of glycosphingolipids (GSLs), among which glycolipid isoglobotrihexosylceramide (iGb3) was rapidly produced. The endogenously generated iGb3 bound CD1d in endosomal compartments and then synergized with the initially activated TLR signal to induce Tyr332 phosphorylation of CD1d intracellular domain. This led to the recruitment and activation of proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2 (Pyk2). Pyk2 interacted with IκB kinase β (IKKβ) and TANK-binding kinase 1 (TBK1), and enhanced tyrosine phosphorylation of Tyr188/199 of IKKβ and Tyr179 of TBK1 and thus, their activation to promote full activation of TLR signaling. Thus, intracellular CD1d reverse signaling, triggered by endogenous iGb3, amplifies inflammatory innate responses in APCs. Our findings identify a non-canonical function of CD1d reverse signaling activated by lipid metabolite in the innate immune response.Xingguang Liu Peng Zhang Yunkai Zhang Zheng Wang Sheng Xu Yingke Li Wanwan Huai Qingqing Zhou Xiang Chen Xi Chen Nan Li Peng Wang Yunsen Li Xuetao Cao 2019Cell Research2019,29,1:1
