Near-surface sand-dust horizontal flux in Tazhong-the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert显示文摘Tazhong is the hinterland and a sandstorm high-frequency area of the Taklimakan Desert. However, little is known about the detailed time-series of aeolian sand transport in this area. An experiment to study the sand-dust horizontal flux of near-surface was carried out in Tazhong from January to December 2009. By measuring the sand-dust horizontal flux throughout sixteen sand-dust weather processes with a 200-cm tall Big Spring Number Eight (BSNE) sampler tower, we quantitatively analyzed the vertical variation of the sand-dust horizontal flux. And the total sand-dust horizontal flux of different time-series that passed through a section of 100 cm in width and 200 cm in height was estimated combining the data of saltation movement continuously recorded by piezoelectric saltation sensors (Sensit). The results indicated that, in the surface layer ranging from 0-200 cm, the intensity of sand-dust horizontal flux decreased with the increase of the height, and the physical quantities obeyed power function well. The total sand-dust horizontal flux of the sixteen sand-dust weather processes that passed through a section of 100 cm in width and 200 cm in height was about 2,144.9 kg, the maximum of one sand-dust weather event was about 396.3 kg, and the annual total sand-dust horizontal flux was about 3,903.2 kg. The high levels of aeolian sand transport occurred during daytime, especially from 13:00 to 16:00 in the afternoon. We try to develop a new method for estimation of the detailed time-series of aeolian sand transport. | XingHua YANG Qing HE Mamtimin ALI Wen HUO XinChun LIU | 2013 | Journal of Arid Land2013,5,2: | 11
Diurnal dynamics of soil respiration and the influencing factors for three land-cover types in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert,China显示文摘Knowledge of soil respiration and the influencing factors in desert ecosystems is essential to understanding carbon dynamics and responses of biotic and abiotic processes in soils to climate change. In this study, soil respiration rate(R_s) for three land-cover types(shifting sandy land, sandy land with straw checkerboard barriers, and shelter forest land) in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert was measured in May 2015 using an automated soil CO_2 flux system. The effects of soil temperature(T_s) and soil water content(W_s) on R_s were also analyzed. The results showed that R_s values in shifting sandy land, sandy land with straw checkerboard barriers, and shelter forest land were all low and exhibited obvious diurnal fluctuations. The establishment of straw checkerboard barriers in sandy land had no significant effect on R_s, while the establishment of shelterbelts significantly increased R_s. Shifting sandy land and sandy land with straw checkerboard barriers were carbon sinks at night and early morning and were carbon sources in the daytime, while shelter forest land always acted as a carbon source during the whole day. The synergistic effect of T_s and W_s could better explain the diurnal dynamics in R_s than single factor. In shifting sandy land and sandy land with straw checkerboard barriers, W_s was identified as a limiting factor influencing the diurnal dynamics of R_s. Furthermore, a relatively strong hysteresis loop existed between R_s and T_s. In contrast, in shelter forest land, R_s was significantly influenced by T_s, and a relatively weaker hysteresis loop existed between R_s and W_s. | YANG Fan ALI Mamtimin ZHENG Xinqian HE Qing YANG Xinghua HUO Wen LIANG Fengchao WANG Shaoming | 2017 | Journal of Arid Land2017,9,4: | 7
Estimation of stature by using the dimensions of the right hand and right foot in Han Chinese adults显示文摘The Han Chinese people are the main ethnic group in China and the largest ethnic group in the world. The dimensions of the hands and feet have been successfully used for the estimation of stature.A total of 26,927 healthy adult subjects, comprising 13,221 men and 13,706 women, were recruited. The survey samples were chosen through random cluster sampling. The mean values were significantly higher in men than those in women for all measurements(P<0.001).All the measurements showed a statistically significant correlation with stature(P<0.01).The combination of the right hand length and the right foot length was the best predictor of stature because it had the lowest standard error of estimate. The use of multiple regression equations yielded better results than did the use of linear regression equations. The accuracy of stature prediction ranged from ±4.81 to ±6.39 cm.The present study was of great importance with regards to improving the physical anthropology database of ethnic groups in China. | Xinghua Zhangi Yu Wei Lianbin Zhengi Keli Yu Dapeng Zhao Jinping Bao Yonglan Li Shunhua Lu Huanjiu Xi Guochang Xu Youfeng Wen | 2017 | Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,1: | 4
Vertical distribution characteristics of dust aerosol mass concentration in the Taklimakan Desert hinterland显示文摘The different height mass concentrations of dust aerosol data from the atmosphere environment observation station(Tazhong Station)was continuously observed by instruments of Grimm 1.108,Thermo RP 1400a and TSP from January of2009 to February of 2010 in the Taklimakan Desert hinterland. Results show that:(1)The mass concentration value of 80m PM10was higher, but PM2.5and PM1.0concentrations at 80 m was obviously lower than 4 m PM10,and the value of 80 m PM1.0mass concentration was the lowest.(2)The PM mass concentrations gradually decreased from night to sunrise, with the lowest concentration at 08:00,with the mass concentration gradually increased,up to the highest concentration around18:00,and then decreased again. It was exactly the same with the changes of wind speed.(3)The high monthly average mass concentration of TSP mainly appeared from March to September, and the highest concentration was in April and May,subsequently gradually decreased. Also,March–September was a period with high value area of PM monthly average mass concentration, with the highest monthly average mass concentration of 846.0μg/m3for 4 m PM10appeared in May.The concentration of PM10was much higher than those of PM2.5and PM1.0at 80 m.There is a small difference between the concentration of PM2.5and PM1.0.Dust weather was the main factor which influenced the concentration content of the different diameter dust aerosol, and the more dust weather days, the higher content of coarse particle, conversely, fine particle was more.(4)The mass concentration of different diameter aerosols had the following sequence during dust weather:clear day | XinChun Liu YuTing Zhong Qing He XingHua Yang Ali Mamtimin Wen Huo | 2013 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2013,5,6: | 3
Analysis of mass concentration of atmospheric particulate matter in a sandstorm course and its affecting factors in the Taklimakan Desert显示文摘During the course of a major sandstorm from April 17 to April 23,2008 in the Taklimakan Desert, data pertaining to the mass concentrations of different-sized atmospheric particulate matter were observed continuously with Grimm 1.108,Thermo RP 1400a,TSP,and CAWS-600 instruments. The results showed that:(1) during the entire sandstorm process there were some differences between the daily mean particle concentration peaks and the hourly mean particle concentration peaks because the actual sandstorm lasted for only about 4 hr,whereas more particles were accumulated in the floating dust days before and after the actual sandstorm;(2) the intensity of the sandstorm was enhanced with the increase of wind speed, and this was related to the peak mass concentrations of atmospheric particulate matter;the wind speed directly affected the concentration of atmospheric particulate matter:the higher the wind speed, the higher the mass concentration(>0.23 μm was 39,496.5 μg/m 3,and >20.0 μm was 5,390.7 μg/m 3);(3) the concentration changes of PM 10 and TSP were also related to the course and intensity of the sandstorm;and(4) the mass concentration of atmospheric particulate matter had the following sequence during the dust weather:clear day < floating dust < floating and blowing dust < sandstorm.Temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure are important factors affecting the strength of storms, which could also indirectly affect the concentration change of atmospheric particulate matter. | XinChun Liu YuTing Zhong Qing He XingHua Yang Ali Mamtimin Wen Huo | 2012 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2012,4,3: | 3
CYP2A6 Polymorphisms Associate with Outcome of S-1 Plus Oxaliplatin Chemotherapy in Chinese Gastric Cancer Patients显示文摘Gastric carcinoma is a heterogeneous malignant disease involving genetic factors. To identify predictive markers for gastric cancer treatment in Chinese patients, we evaluated the association between polymorphisms of the gene encoding cytochrome P450 2A6(CYP2A6) and outcomes of S-1 plus oxaliplatin(SOX) chemotherapy treatment. Clinical data on 60 consecutive gastric cancer patients receiving SOX regimen were collected prospectively. We sequenced all exons of CYP2A6 and a total of 22 different polymorphisms were detected in the present study. Comprehensive analyses of these genetic polymorphisms were performed to determine their association with both safety and efficacy of SOX regimen. Our results showed that polymorphisms of CYP2A6 were associated with the safety and efficacy of SOX treatment. Among them, missense mutations CYP2A6 rs60823196 and rs138978736 could be possible risk factors(P < 0.05) for severe diarrhea induced by SOX, whereas CYP2A6 rs138978736 could be a conceivable predictor for overall survival of patients treated with SOX adjuvant chemotherapy. Further large-scale randomized prospective studies are warranted to confirm these findings. | Lin Yang Shanshan Zou Chang Shu Yan Song Yong-Kun Sun Wen Zhang Aiping Zhou Xinghua Yuan Yi Yang Songnian Hu | 2017 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2017,15,4: | 2

Effect of defects on the electronic structure of a PbI2/MoS2 van der Waals heterostructure: A first-principles study显示文摘PbI2/MoS2,as a typical van der Waals(vdW)heterostructure, has attracted intensive attention owing to its remarkable electronic and optoelectronic properties. In this work, the effect of defects on the electronic structures of a PbI2/MoS2 heterointerface has been systematically investigated. The manner in which the defects modulate the band structure of PbI2/MoS2,including the band gap, band edge, band alignment, and defect energy-level density within the band gap is discussed herein. It is shown that sulfur defects tune the band gaps, iodine defects shift the positions of the band edge and Fermi level, and lead defects realize the conversions between the straddling-gap band alignment and valence-band-aligned gap, thus enhancing the light-absorption ability of the material. | Wen He HuaWei Li HuiQiong Zhou HongKang Zhao Hui Wang XingHua Shi | 2020 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,3: | 1

Study on Surface Treatments on CdSe Wafers显示文摘The surface treatments on CdSe wafers were studied by means of SEM, XPS and micro-current test instrument. The relations between electrical properties of CdSe wafers and surface topography, composition and structure were analyzed. The results show that the change of surface composition by etching is beneficial to decrease leakage current. Meanwhile, the increase of oxygen on surface caused by passivation can largely decrease leakage current. When passivating time is 40 min, the wafers surface appears smooth and compact, which will decrease the density of surface state, the optimal electrical property of the wafer is therefore obtained. | Ren Rui Zhao Beijun Zhu Shifu He Zhiyu Wang Ruilin Wen Cai Ye Linsen Zhong Yuhang Zhu Xinghua | 2006 | Journal of Rare Earths2006,24,z1: | 1

Understanding the geometric and electronic factors of PtNi bimetallic surfaces for efficient and selective catalytic hydrogenation of biomass-derived oxygenates显示文摘Ni-base catalysts are promising candidate for the hydrogenation of furfural(FAL) to high-value chemicals. However, slow intermediate desorption and low selectivity limit its implementation.Identifying the catalytic performance of each active sites is vital to design hydrogenation catalyst, and tuning the geometrical sites at molecule level in PtNi could lead to the modification of electronic structure, and thus the selectity for the hydrogenation of FAL was modulated.Herein,PtNi hollow nanoframes(PtNi HNFs) with three dimensional(3 D) molecular accessibility were synthesized,EDX results suggested that Ni was evenly distributed inside of the hollow nanoframes, whereas Pt was relatively concentrated at the edges.DFT calculation demonstrated that PtNi significant decrease the desorption energy of the intermediates. This strategy could not only enhance the desorption of intermediates to improve the catalytic performance, but also transfer the adsorption mode of FAL on catalyst surface to selective hydrogenation of FAL to FOL or THFA.The PtNi HNFs catalyst afforded excellent catalytic performance for selective hydrogenation of a broad range of biomass-derived platform chemicals under mild conditions, especially of FAL to furfuryl alcohol(FOL),in quantitative FOL yields(99%) with a high TOF of 2.56 h^(-1).It is found that the superior performance of PtNi HNFs is attributed to its 3 D hierarchical structure and synergistic electronic effects between Pt and Ni.Besides, the kinetic study demonstrated that the activation energy for hydrogenation of FAL was as low as 54.95 kJ mol^(-1). | Jingcheng Wu Chuangwei Liu Yuting Zhu Xiangbo Song Chengyan Wen Xinghua Zhang Chenguang Wang Longlong Ma | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,9: | 1
Body weights in Han Chinese populations显示文摘The body weights of 26,954 Han Chinese adults in 67 areas(16,503 in rural areas and 10,451 in urban areas) across China were measured from 2009 to2013.The results showed that in China, the three areas(north China, northeast China, and Jianghuai Plain) were with the greatest body weight.Northwest Han Chinese populations were heavier.Southwestern dialect groups were at the middle level and lighter than northern Han Chinese populations, but were heavier among southern Han Chinese populations.Chinese Han who located in areas of Hangjiahu were the general level, and similar to southwestern dialect groups. The mean values of body weight in Hunan Han and Fujian Han were greater than other Han groups in southern China.Gan dialect groups and Cantonese dialect groups showed the minimum body weightvalue in all Chinese Han groups.Besides, the mean body weight of Hakka was heavier than Gan dialect groups and Cantonese dialect groups which were adjacent to Hakka.Body weight increases with an increase in height, bone diameter, subcutaneous fat on the limbs and trunk, chest circumference, and abdomen circumference. This study revealed that northern Han men were heavier than southern Han men, because the former were taller and had a larger waist circumference as well as thicker subcutaneous fat on their backs.Among women, height, bone diameter of the upper limbs, chest and abdomen circumferences, and subcutaneous fat on the limbs and trunks of northern Han exceeded those of rural southern Han.Consequently, body weight values of northern Han women were higher than those of southern Han women. While a significant difference in these values was found between urban and rural men,no significant difference occurred between urban and rural women.Body weight was associated with age in urban and rural men only in the case of minority groups. However, there was a positive correlation between body weight and age in the majority groups of both urban and rural women. The particular composition of genes involved in body weight traits of Han populations across the country has created a genetic foundation accounting for varying body weights of different Han populations.Environmental factors also play a role.As the Han are widely dispersed, their habitation areas vary according to factors such as topography, temperature, precipitation, humidity, and light. Moreover, labor intensity, food composition, and the intake of various nutrients also differ across Han populations. All of these factors have affected the development of body weight in Han populations living in different locations. | Yonglan Li Lianbin Zheng Huanjiu Xi Keli Yu Shunhua Lu Jinyuan Tian Xue Song Jinping Bao Yuling Li Xinghua Zhang Youfeng Wen Fu Ren | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,35: | 1

Analysis of atmospheric boundary ozone profiles in winter in hinterland of Taklimakan Desert显示文摘In order to reveal the variation characteristics of ozone(O3)concentration in the atmosphere boundary layer over a desert in winter,an observation experiment was carried out in the Tazhong area by means of a tethered balloon during January 18-25,2008.The vertical distribution of O3 concentration and its correlation with temperature and humidity were analyzed based on experimental observation data and related data. Results show that:(1)The concentration of O3 mainly ranges from 10 to 50 μg/L,with a maximum of 56.1 μg/L,minimum of 2.6 μg/L,and a daily average concentration of 34.4 μg/L.(2)O3 profiles can be divided into three types:peak, uniform, and growth, where uniform accounts for the majority.(3)Temperature and mois-ture are influential on O3 concentrations in atmospheric boundary layer.Temperature inversion and water vapor increase in an atmospheric boundary layer leads to a decrease of O3.(4)O3 concentration has an obvious daily change in Tazhong. It is lower at night, begins to increase after sunrise, and reaches a maximum at noon. The maximum appears at 17:00 BJT(Beijing Time),and the minimum appears at 08:00 BJT. | Qing He XingHua Yang Ali Mamtimin Wen Huo Qiang Liu | 2011 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2011,3,4: | 0
Three-dimensional digital technology-assisted precise tumor resection and reconstruction of the femoral trochanter and postoperative functional recovery:a retrospective study显示文摘Background The trochanter of the femur is a common site for bone tumors. However, locating the specificboundary of bone tumor infiltration and determining the surgical method can be challenging. The objective of thisstudy was to review the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical outcomes of patients with tumors or tumor-like changesin the femoral trochanter after computer-assisted precise tumor resection and hip-preserving reconstruction ofthe trochanter. Methods From January 2005 to September 2020,11 patients with trochanteric tumors(aged:18–53 years;sixmales and five females)were treated in Guangzhou First People’s Hospital. The cases included aneurysmal bonecyst(n=1),giant cell tumor of bone(n=2),fibrous histiocytoma of bone(n=1),endochondroma(n=1),andfibrous dysplasia of bone(n=6).For patients with trochanteric tumors, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging scanning were performed before operation to obtain two-dimensional image data of the lesion.Athree-dimensional digital model of bilateral lower limbs was reconstructed by computer technology, the boundary of tumor growth was determined by computer simulation, the process of tumor resection and reconstructionwas simulated, and the personalized guide template was designed.During the operation, the personalized guideplate guided the precise resection of the tumor, and the allogeneic bone was trimmed to match the shape of thebone defect. Results All 11 patients underwent accurate resection of the tumor or tumor-like lesion and reconstruction ofthe hip.In eight cases, the lesion was confined to the trochanter, which was fixed with large segment allogeneicbone, autologous iliac bone, and proximal femoral anatomic plate. In three cases, allogeneic bone, autologousiliac bone, and femoral reconstruction nail were used to fix the tumor under the trochanter.Postoperative Xray examination showed that the repair and reconstruction of the bone defect was effective, and callus bridgingbetween the allogenic bone and autogenous bone was observed 6 months after operation. All patients recoveredtheir walking function 3–6 months after operation. The duration of the follow-up period ranged from 6 monthsto 6 years.A patient experienced recurrence of endochondroma;pathological examination revealed chondrocyticsarcoma. The remaining 10 patients were treated with segmental resection and reconstruction. The operationtime ranged 2.5–4.5 h(average:3.2 h).Intraoperative blood loss ranged from 300 to 500 ml(average:368 ml).The local recurrence rate was 9.1%,and the overall survival rate was 100%.The average Musculoskeletal TumorSociety score was 27(excellent and good for eight and three patients, respectively). Conclusions Three-dimensional computer skeleton modeling and simulation-assisted resection and reconstruction of femoral trochanteric tumor is a new surgical technique, which might markedly improve the surgical effect, shorten the surgical time, increase the overall survival rate of patients with tumors, reduce the local recurrencerate, assist in the digitization and programming of femoral trochanteric tumor surgery, and improve surgicalaccuracy. | Yuanhai Tu Yuanhao Peng Xinghua Wen Yuning Wang Kang Liu Kai Cheng Han Yan | 2023 | Intelligent Medicine2023,3,4: | 0
The variation characteristics and effect factors of surface ozone concentration in the Taklimakan Desert hinterland显示文摘Based on automatic continuous surface ozone concentration observation data from June 10,2010 to March 20,2012 in the Taklimakan Desert hinterland, combined with corresponding meteorological data, the temporal, seasonal and daily variation characteristics of surface ozone concentrations under different weather conditions were analyzed. At the same time, the main factors affecting ozone variation are discussed. Results show that:(1)Daily variation of ozone concentration was characterized by one obvious peak, with gentle changes during the night and dramatic changes during the day.The lowest concentration was at09:00 and the highest was at 18:00.Compared to urban areas, there was a slight time delay.(2)Ozone concentration variation had a weekend effect phenomenon.Weekly variation of ozone concentration decreased from Monday to Wednesday with the lowest in Wednesday, and increased after Thursday with the highest in Sunday.(3)The highest monthly average concentration was 89.6μg/m3in June 2010,and the lowest was 32.0μg/m3in January 2012.Ozone concentration reduced month by month from June to December in 2010.(4)Ozone concentration in spring and summer was higher than in autumn and winter. The variation trend agreed with those in other large and medium-sized cities.(5)Under four different types of weather, daily ozone concentration varied most dramatically in sunny days, followed by slight variation in rain days, and varied gently in cloudy days.Ozone concentration varied inconspicuously before a sandstorm appearance, and dropped rapidly at the onset of a sandstorm.(6)Daily variation of radiation was also characterized by a single peak, and the variation was significantly earlier than ozone concentration variation.Sun radiation intensity had a direct influence on the photochemical reaction speed, leading to variation of ozone concentration.(7)Daily average ozone concentration in dust weather was higher than in slight rain and clear days. The variation of near surface ozone concentration could also be affected by meteorological factors such as relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction and sunshine hours. Thus, numerous factors working together led to ozone pollution. | XinChun Liu YuTing Zhong Qing He YanMei Peng XingHua Yang Ali Mamtimin Wen Huo | 2014 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2014,6,1: | 0
Origins, timing and introgression of domestic geese revealed by whole genome data显示文摘Background Geese are among the most important poultry species in the world. The current generally accepted hypothesis is that the European domestic geese originated from greylag geese(Anser anser),and Chinese domestic geese have two origins, most of which originated from swan geese(Anser cygnoides),and the Yili goose originated from greylag geese. To explain the origin and demographic history of geese,we selected 14 goose breeds from Europe and China and wild populations of swan and greylag geese, and whole genome sequencing data were obtained for 74 samples. Results Population structure analysis and phylogenetic trees showed that the wild ancestor of Chinese domestic geese, except for Yili,is the swan geese, and the wild ancestor of Chinese Yili and European domestic geese is greylag geese.Analysis of the demographic history suggests that the domestication of Chinese geese occurred~3499 years ago and that of the European geese occurred~7552 years ago.Furthermore, gene flow was observed between domestic geese and their wild ancestors.Analysis of introgression showed that Yili geese had been introgressed by Chinese domestic geese, and the body size of Yili geese may be influenced by introgression events of some growthrelated genes, including IGF-1.Conclusions Our study provides evidence for the origin of geese at the genome-wide level and advances the understanding of the history of goose domestication and the traits affected by introgression events. | Junhui Wen Haiying Li Huie Wang Jincheng Yu Tao Zhu Jinxin Zhang Xinghua Li Zhihua Jiang Zhonghua Ning Lujiang Qu | 2023 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,3: | 0
RhIr@MoS2 nanohybrids based disposable microsensor for the point-of-care testing of NADH in real human serum显示文摘Dihydronicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)is an important enzyme in all living cells, which is found to be abnormally expressed in cancer cells.Since it is redox-active,an electrochemical detection method would be suitable for monitoring its concentration in biological fluids. Here we present a strategy for specific determination of NADH in real human serum by using RhIr@MoS2 nanohybrids based microsensor. To implement the protocol,RhIr nanocrysrals are in-situ grown onto MoS2 interlayers forming a nanohybrid structure(RhIr@MoS2).After being locally deposited on an electrochemical microsensor,it could be used for the analysis of NADH.The developed RhIr@MoS2 nanohybrids based microsensor possesses the ability for analyzing NADH at the applied potential of 0.07 V(much lower than most reported values). The detection limit is evaluated as low as 1 nmol/L even in bovine serum albumin(BSA)media. In addition, the sampling analysis of human serum from cancer patients and health controls shows that the microsensor displays good diagnostic sensitivity and specificity, illustrating that this developed detection technique is a relatively accurate method for measuring NADH in biological fluids. The proposed electrochemical microsensor assay also owns the benefits of convenience, disposable and easy processing, which make it a great possibility for future point-of-care cancer diagnosis. | Dongqing Ji Zi Ying Yuan Zhang Wei Chen Metini Janyasupab Xinghua Gao Lingyan Feng Weijia Wen | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,8: | 0
