Prediction of Coke Yield of FCC Unit Using Different Artificial Neural Network Models显示文摘In fluid catalytic cracking(FCC) unit, it is greatly important to control the coke yield, since the increase of coke yield not only leads to the reduction of total liquid yield, but also affects the heat balance and operation of FCC unit. Consequently, it is significant to predict the coke yield accurately. The coke formation and burning reactions are affected by many parameters which influence each other, so it is difficult to establish a prediction model using traditional models. This paper combines the industrial production data and establishes a generalized regression neural network(GRNN) model and a back propagation(BP) neural network model to predict the coke yield respectively. The comparison and analysis results show that the accuracy and stability of the BP neural network prediction results are better than that of the GRNN. Then, the particle swarm optimization to optimize BP neural network(PSO-BP) and genetic algorithm to optimize the BP neural network(GA-BP) were further used to improve the prediction precision. The comparison of these models shows that they can improve the prediction precision. However, considering the accuracy and stability of the prediction results, the GA-BP model is better than PSO-BP model. | Su Xin Wu Yingya Pei Huajian Gao Jinsen Lan Xingying | 2016 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2016,18,3: | 7
Particle clustering(mesoscale structure)of high-flux gas-solid circulating fluidized bed显示文摘Particle clustering is an important dynamic phenomenon in circulating-fluidized-bed(CFBs)systems,and has been suggested as a key contributing factor to the non-uniform hydrodynamics of CFBs.Studies show that particle clusters can be affected by solids flux,in terms of frequency, duration, and solids holdup. To understand the characteristics of particle clusters under high-solids-flux conditions, experimental and modeling studies in high-solids-flux gas-solids CFBs were reviewed and summarized.Optical and electrical measurements and imaging methods were used to monitor the particle-clustering phenomenon in CFBs.Particles were found to cluster in high-flux CFBs,and were characterized by a denser cluster-solids holdup and a shorter time fraction, which was different from the behavior in low-flux CFBs.Particle properties affected particle clustering in high-flux CFBs significantly. In modeling work,Eulerian-Eulerian and Eulerian-Lagrangian methods were used to study the particle-cluster characteristics.Good results can be obtained by using the Eulerian-Eulerian method to simulate the CFB system, especially the high-flux CFBs,and by considering the effects of particle clusters. The Eulerian-Lagrangian method is used to obtain detailed cluster characteristics.Because of limits in computing power,no obvious results exist to model particle clusters under high-solids-flux conditions.Because high-solids-flux conditions are used extensively in industrial applications, further experimental and numerical investigations on the clustering behavior in HF/DCFBs are required. | Chengxiu Wang Chengxiang Li Xingying Lan Yingya Wu Jinsen Gao | 2020 | Particuology2020,18,1: | 1
Fiber-specific increase of carotenoid content promotes cotton fiber elongation by increasing abscisic acid and ethylene biosynthesis显示文摘Cotton fiber is a raw material for the global textile industry and fiber quality is essential to its industrial application.Carotenoids are plant secondary metabolites that may serve as dietary components, regulate light harvesting, and scavenge reactive oxygen species.Although carotenoids accumulate predominantly in rapidly elongating cotton fibers, their roles in cotton fiber development remain poorly understood. In this study,a fiber-specific promoter proSCFP was applied to drive the expression of GhOR1Del,a positive regulator of carotenoid accumulation,to upregulate the carotenoid level in cotton fiber in planta.Fiber length, strength, and fineness were increased in proSCFP:GhOR1Del transgenic cotton and abscisic acid(ABA)and ethylene contents were increased in elongating fibers. The ABA downstream regulator GhbZIP27a stimulated the expression of the ethylene synthase gene GhACO3 by binding to its promoter, suggesting that ABA promoted fiber elongation by increasing ethylene production. These findings suggest the involvement of carotenoids and ABA signaling in promoting cotton fiber elongation and provide a strategy for improving cotton fiber quality. | Jianyan Zeng Dan Yao Ming Luo Lingli Ding Yi Wang Xingying Yan Shu’e Ye Chuannan Wang Yiping Wu Jingyi Zhang Yaohua Li Lingfang Ran Yonglu Dai Yang Chen Fanlong Wang Hanyan Lai Nian Liu Nianjuan Fang Yan Pei Yuehua Xiao | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,3: | 0
Bridging wounds:tissue adhesives’essential mechanisms, synthesis and characterization, bioinspired adhesives and future perspectives显示文摘Bioadhesives act as a bridge in wound closure by forming an effective interface to protect against liquid and gas leakage and aid the stoppage of bleeding. To their credit, tissue adhesives have made an indelible impact on almost all wound-related surgeries.Their unique properties include minimal damage to tissues, low chance of infection, ease of use and short wound-closure time.In contrast, classic closures, like suturing and stapling, exhibit potential additional complications with long operation times and undesirable inflammatory responses.Although tremendous progress has been made in the development of tissue adhesives, they are not yet ideal. Therefore, highlighting and summarizing existing adhesive designs and synthesis, and comparing the different products will contribute to future development. This review first provides a summary of current commercial traditional tissue adhesives. Then, based on adhesion interaction mechanisms, the tissue adhesives are categorized into three main types:adhesive patches that bind molecularly with tissue, tissuestitching adhesives based on pre-polymer or precursor solutions, and bioinspired or biomimetic tissue adhesives.Their specific adhesion mechanisms, properties and related applications are discussed. The adhesion mechanisms of commercial traditional adhesives as well as their limitations and shortcomings are also reviewed. Finally,we also discuss the future perspectives of tissue adhesives. | Kaige Xu Xiaozhuo Wu Xingying Zhang Malcolm Xing | 2022 | Burns & Trauma2022,10,1: | 0
Electroacupuncture Alleviates HIF1-α-mediated Early Mitophagy in Spinal Cord Injury显示文摘Background:The inhibitory microenvironment around spinal cord injury(SCI)severely restricted functional repair after injury.Mitophagy was one of the important measures to maintain cellular homeostasis and ensure the harmonious nerve cell microenvironment.Hypoxia-inducible factor1α(HIF1-α)can mediate mitochondrial autophagy in neurodegenerative diseases, but the mechanisms are complex and diverse, which need to be further elucidated.Electroacupuncture plays a significant role in improving the neural microenvironment after spinal cord injury, promote long-term neurological function recovery in SCI patients, but whether electroacupuncture can participate in HIF1-α mediated mitophagy remains unknown. Objective:Investigated the effects of HIF1-α on mitochondrial autophagy in rats with spinal cord contusion and the potential mechanism of electroacupuncture. Methods:Following the successful construction of an SCI model of Sprague-Dawley rat utilizing a modified Allen method, electroacupuncture intervention was performed at T9 and T11 Jiaji acupoint(EX-B2),with further molecular biology and morphology examined by perfusion. To observe the effect of HIF1-α on local damage repair, the stereotypic injection of Hif1a knockdown virus was performed, and the changes of mitophagy in damaged local area was detected employing Western blotting,real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR,immunofluorescence, transmission electron microscopy and Nissl staining.Results:HIF1-α as well as its mitophagy receptor BNIP3 and NIX are upregulated after spinal cord injury.Elec-troacupuncture treatment or local inhibition of HIF1-α expression can reverse the early autophagy state after spinal cord injury, reduce cell apoptosis and injury area, promote neuronal survival. Conclusion:Electroacupuncture may serve as a promising strategy for spinal cord injury treatment,by alleviating HIF1-α mediated early mitochondrial autophagy. | Rong Hu Xingying Wu Kelin He Mengting Shi Haipeng Xu Yi Chen Bowen Chen Lei Wu Ruijie Ma Kang Liang | 2024 | Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology2024,4,1: | 0
Optimization of Urban Multi-energy Flow Systems Considering Seasonal Peak Shaving of Natural Gas显示文摘In order to alleviate the shortage of natural gas supply in winter, relevant policies have been issued to promote the construction of gas peak-shaving and storage facilities.Largescale gas storage can transfer the supply-demand relationship of natural gas in time sequence, which has great potential in improving the economy and reliabillity of urban multi-energy flow systems.Addressing this issue, this paper proposes a mid-and long-term energy optimization method for urban multi-energy flow system that considers seasonal peak shaving of natural gas.First, the energy supply and demand features of different energy subsystems are analyzed. Then,a network model of the electricity-gas-heat multi-energy flow system is established.Considering the time-of-use electricity price mechanism and the seasonal fluctuations of the natural gas price,a mid-and long-term energy optimization model maximizing the annual economic revenue is established. The alternative direction multiplier method with Gaussian back substitution(ADMM-GBS)algorithm is used to solve the optimal dispatch model. Finally, the proposed method is verified by employing the actual data of the demonstration zone in Yangzhong City,China. The simulation results show that the proposed method is effective. | Kun Yu Zengguang Cen Xingying Chen Chunxiang Liang Zheng Zhou Zhengtao Dong Lei Wu | 2022 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,4: | 0
