1China land soil moisture EnKF data assimilation based on satellite remote sensing data显示文摘Soil moisture plays an important role in land-atmosphere interactions. It is an important geophysical parameter in research on climate, hydrology, agriculture, and forestry. Soil moisture has important climatic effects by influencing ground evapotranspi ration, runoff, surface reflectivity, surface emissivity, surface sensible heat and latent heat flux. At the global scale, the extent of its influence on the atmosphere is second only to that of sea surface temperature. At the terrestrial scale, its influence is even greater than that of sea surface temperatures. This paper presents a China Land Soil Moisture Data Assimilation System (CLSMDAS) based on EnKF and land process models, and results of the application of this system in the China Land Soil Moisture Data Assimilation tests. CLSMDAS is comprised of the following components: 1) A land process mo del—Community Land Model Version 3.0 (CLM3.0)—developed by the US National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR); 2) Precipitation of atmospheric forcing data and surface-incident solar radiation data come from hourly outputs of the FY2 geostationary meteorological satellite; 3) EnKF (Ensemble Kalman Filter) land data assimilation method; and 4) Observa tion data including satellite-inverted soil moisture outputs of the AMSR-E satellite and soil moisture observation data. Results of soil moisture assimilation tests from June to September 2006 were analyzed with CLSMDAS. Both simulation and assimila tion results of the land model reflected reasonably the temporal-spatial distribution of soil moisture. The assimilated soil mois ture distribution matches very well with severe summer droughts in Chongqing and Sichuan Province in August 2006, the worst since the foundation of the People’s Republic of China in 1949. 2CRA-40/Atmosphere—The First-Generation Chinese Atmospheric Reanalysis(1979–2018):System Description and Performance Evaluation显示文摘Atmospheric reanalysis reproduces the past atmospheric conditions through assimilation of historical meteorological observations with fixed version of a numerical weather prediction(NWP)model and data assimilation(DA)system.It is widely used in weather,climate,and even business-related research and applications.This paper reports the development of CMA’s first-generation global atmospheric reanalysis(RA)covering 1979–2018(CRA-40;CRA refers to CMA-RA).CRA-40 is produced by using the Global Spectral Model(GSM)/Gridpoint Statistical Interpolation(GSI)at a 6-h time interval and a TL574 spectral(34-km)resolution with the model top at 0.27 hPa.A large number of reprocessed satellite data and widely collected conventional observations were assimilated during the reanalyzing process,including the reprocessed atmospheric motion vector(AMV)products from FY-2C/D/E/G satellites,dense conventional observations(at about 120 radiosonde and 2400 synoptic stations)over China,as well as MWHS-2 and GNSS-RO observations from FY-3C.The reanalysis fitting to observations is improved over time,especially for surface pressure with root-mean-square error reduced from 1.05 hPa in 1979 to 0.8 hPa,and for upper air temperature from 1.65 K in 1979 to 1.35 K,in 2018.The patterns of global analysis increments for temperature,specific humidity,and zonal wind are consistent with the changes in the observing system.Near surface temperature from the model’s 6-h forecast reflects the global warming trend reasonably.The CRA-40 precipitation pattern matches well with those of GPCP and other reanalyses.CRA-40 also successfully captures the QBO and its vertical and temporal development,hemispherical atmospheric circulation change,and moisture transport by the East Asian summer monsoon.CRA is now operationally running in near real time as a climate data assimilation system in CMA.Zhiquan LIU Lipeng JIANG Chunxiang SHI Tao ZHANG Zijiang ZHOU Jie LIAO Shuang YAO Jingwei LIU Minyan WANG Huiying WANG Xiao LIANG Zhisen ZHANG Yan YAO Ting ZHU Zhe CHEN Wenhui XU Lijuan CAO Hui JIANG Kaixi HU 2023Journal of Meteorological Research2023,37,1:4

7Folic acid-modified Exosome-PH20 enhances the efficiency of therapy via modulation of the tumor microenvironment and directly inhibits tumor cell metastasis显示文摘High accumulation of hyaluronan(HA)in the tumor microenvironment leads to an increase in the interstitial pressure and reduction perfusion of drugs.Furthermore,high molecular-weight(HMW)-HA suppresses M1 macrophage polarization,enhances M2 polarization,and induces immunosuppression.Hyaluronidase treatment have attempted to decrease the quantity of HA in tumors.However,hyaluronidase-driven HA degradation driven accelerates tumor cell metastasis,which is a major cause of mortality in cancer patients.Thus,we designed a novel exosome-based drug delivery system(DDS),named Exos-PH20-FA,using genetic engineering to express human hyaluronidase(PH20)and self-assembly techniques to modify the exosomes with folic acid(FA).Our results show that Exos-PH20-FA degraded HMW-HA to low-molecular-weight(LMW)-HA.Moreover,LMW-HA polarized macrophages to the M1 phenotype and reduced the number of relevant immunosuppressive immunocytes which changed the immune microenvironment from an immunosuppressive to immunosupportive phenotype.Furthermore,we demonstrated Exos-PH20-FA directly reduced hyaluronidase-induced metastasis of tumor cells.This tumor treatment also allowed an enhanced delivery of chemotherapy by tumor-targeting effect with FA modification.Our findings indicate that Exos-PH20-FA improves tumor treatment efficiency and reduces the side effects of hyaluronidase treatment,namely tumor cell metastasis.This all-in-one exosome-based HA targeting DDS maybe a promising treatment that yields more efficient and safer results.Chunxiang Feng Zhiyong Xiong Cheng Wang Wen Xiao Haibing Xiao Kairu Xie Ke Chen Huageng Liang Xiaoping Zhang Hongmei Yang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,4:1
8Fusion of In-Situ Soil Moisture and Land Surface Model Estimates Using Localized Ensemble Optimum Interpolation over China显示文摘Land data assimilation(DA)is an effective method to provide high-quality spatially and temporally continuous soil moisture datasets that are crucial in weather,climate,hydrological,and agricultural research.However,most existing land DA applications have used remote sensing observations,and are based on one-dimensional(1 D)analysis,which cannot be directly employed to reasonably assimilate the recently expanded in-situ soil moisture observations in China.In this paper,a two-dimensional(2 D)localized ensemble-based optimum interpolation(En OI)scheme for assimilating in-situ soil moisture observations from over 2200 stations into land surface models(LSMs)is introduced.This scheme uses historical LSM simulations as ensemble samples to provide soil moisture background error covariance,allowing the in-situ observation information to be propagated to surrounding pixels.It is also computationally efficient because no additional ensemble simulations are needed.A set of ensemble sampling and localization length scale sensitivity experiments are performed.The En OI performs best for in-situ soil moisture fusion over China with an ensemble sampling of hourly soil moisture from the previous 7 days and a localization length scale of 100 km.Following the evaluation,simulations for in-situ soil moisture fusion are also performed from May 2016 to September 2016.The En OI analysis is notably better than that without in-situ observation fusion,as the wet bias of 0.02 m3 m-3 is removed,the root-mean-square error(RMSE)is reduced by about 37%,and the correlation coefficient is increased by about 25%.Independent evaluation shows that the En OI analysis performs considerably better than that without fusion in terms of bias,and marginally better in terms of RMSE and correlation.Lipeng JIANG Chunxiang SHI Shuai SUN Xiao LIANG 2020Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,6:0
9AQUEOUS TWO-PHASE GAS FLOATATION SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF TRACE TETRACYCLINE IN ENVIRONMENTAL WATER SAMPLE显示文摘A green method for separating and enriching trace tetracycline (TC) in environment water by Aqueous Two-phase Gas Floatation Spectrophotometry has been proposed, the principium was discussed. In this paper, the hydrophobic complex composed of Mg(II) and TC was floated into organic phase under the optimal conditions: pH=10, the floatation equipment is home-made, n-propyl alcohol as the organic solvent, sodium chloride as the separating phase reagent. 11Mechanical Properties of Lime-Fly Ash-Sulphate Aluminum Cement Stabilized Loess显示文摘Lime-fly ash stabilized loess has a poor early strength,which results in a later traffic opening time when it is used as road-base materials.Consideration of the significant early strength characteristics of sulphate aluminum cement(SAC),it is always added into the lime-fly ash mixtures to improve the early strength of stabilized loess.However,there is a scarcity of research on the mechanical behavior of lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized loess and there is a lack of quantitative evaluation of loess stabilized with binder materials.This research explored the effects of the amount of binder materials,curing time and porosity on the unconfined compressive strength(UCS),splitting tensile strength(STS),cohesion(c)and friction angle(φ)of lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized loess by a series of unconfined compressive tests(UCT)and splitting tensile tests(STT).The results indicate that an increase in curing time and a decrease in porosity lead to a continuous increase in the UCS and STS for lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized loess.The addition of SAC has a prominent enhancement in the early strength of lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized loess.When the curing time,porosity,and binder content were constant,the UCS and STS increase with increasing SAC content;For a stabilized loess with 30%binder content and 5%SAC content after 1 day of curing,the UCS was greater than 0.7 MPa,which meets the requirement of opening traffic,so lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized loess could be used as an excellent maintenance material for road-base;In accordance with the analysis of testing data,empirical relationships between the UCS and STS of lime-fly-SAC stabilized loess and key effect factors(binder materials content,curing time and porosity)were developed,which can provide references for reasonably selecting the amount of binder materials,compaction degree and curing period to meet the required strength of practical engineering.Finally,based on the Mohr-Coulomb theory and the above empirical relationships,a simpler method for calculating the c andφof stabilized loess was proposed,with which,the shear strength parameters can be determined only by UCT or STT.Liang Jia Chunxiang Li Jian Guo 2020Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,10:0
12Optimization of Urban Multi-energy Flow Systems Considering Seasonal Peak Shaving of Natural Gas显示文摘In order to alleviate the shortage of natural gas supply in winter,relevant policies have been issued to promote the construction of gas peak-shaving and storage facilities.Largescale gas storage can transfer the supply-demand relationship of natural gas in time sequence,which has great potential in improving the economy and reliabillity of urban multi-energy flow systems.Addressing this issue,this paper proposes a mid-and long-term energy optimization method for urban multi-energy flow system that considers seasonal peak shaving of natural gas.First,the energy supply and demand features of different energy subsystems are analyzed.Then,a network model of the electricity-gas-heat multi-energy flow system is established.Considering the time-of-use electricity price mechanism and the seasonal fluctuations of the natural gas price,a mid-and long-term energy optimization model maximizing the annual economic revenue is established.The alternative direction multiplier method with Gaussian back substitution(ADMM-GBS)algorithm is used to solve the optimal dispatch model.Finally,the proposed method is verified by employing the actual data of the demonstration zone in Yangzhong City,China.The simulation results show that the proposed method is effective.Kun Yu Zengguang Cen Xingying Chen Chunxiang Liang Zheng Zhou Zhengtao Dong Lei Wu 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,4:0
13Microstructure Characterization and Indentation Hardness Testing Behavior of Mg-8Sn-xAl-1Zn Alloys显示文摘The influence of Al content on microstructure characterization and indentation hardness testing behavior of Mg-8Sn-x Al(x=1 wt%, 2 wt%, 3 wt%)-1Zn alloys was investigated by optical microscope, Pandat software, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, differential scanning calorimetry and a microhardness testing equipment. The results can be summarized as follows: when the Al content is 1 wt%, the alloy is composed of α-Mg and Mg2 Sn phases; while the new phase of Mgx(Al Zn)1-x can be observed and the morphology of Mg2 Sn phase transfers from the semi-continuous network to the dispersed particles with further addition of Al content to 2 wt% and 3 wt%. The dendrite arm spacing(DAS) deceases firstly and then slightly increases with the increase of Al content. The micro-hardness of Mg-8Sn-x Al(x=1 wt%, 2 wt%, 3 wt%)-1Zn also increases with increasing of Al content. 14Cy-CNN:cylinder convolution based rotation-invariant neural network for point cloud registration显示文摘Point cloud registration is a challenging problem in the condition of large initial misalignments and noises.A major problem encountered in the registration algorithms is the definition of correspondence between two point clouds.Point clouds contain rich geometric information and the same geometric structure implies the same feature even if they are in diferent poses,which motivates us to seek a rotation-invariant feature representation for calculating the correspondence.This work proposes a rotation-invariant neural network for point cloud registration.To acquire rotation-invariant features,we firstly propose a rotationinvariant point cloud representation(RIPR)at the input level.Instead of using the original coordinates,we propose to use point pair features(PPF)and the transformed coordinates in the local reference frame(LRF)to represent a point.Then,we design a new convolution operator named Cylinder-Conv which utilizes the symmetry of cylinder-shaped voxels and the hierarchical geometry information of the surface of3D shapes.By specifying the cylinder-shaped structures and directions,Cylinder-Conv can better capture the local neighborhood geometry of each point and maintain rotation-invariance.Finally,we combine RIPR and Cylinder-Conv to extract normalized rotation-invariant features to generate the correspondence and perform a diferentiable singular value decomposition(SVD)step to estimate the rigid transformation.The proposed network presents state-of-the-art performance on point cloud registration.Experiments show that our method is robust to initial misalignments and noises.Hengwang ZHAO Zhidong LIANG Yuesheng HE Chunxiang WANG Ming YANG 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,5:0
