1Soil surface roughness change and its effect on runoff and erosion on the Loess Plateau of China显示文摘As an important parameter in the soil erosion model, soil surface roughness(SSR) is used to quantitatively describe the micro-relief on agricultural land. SSR has been extensively studied both experimentally and theoretically; however, no studies have focused on understanding SSR on the Loess Plateau of China. This study investigated changes in SSR for three different tillage practices on the Loess Plateau of China and the effects of SSR on runoff and erosion yield during simulated rainfall. The tillage practices used were zero tillage(ZT), shallow hoeing(SH) and contour ploughing(CP). Two rainfall intensities were applied, and three stages of water erosion processes(splash erosion(I), sheet erosion(II) and rill erosion(III)) were analyzed for each rainfall intensity. The chain method was used to measure changes in SSR both initially and after each stage of rainfall. A splash board was used to measure the splash erosion at stage I. Runoff and sediment data were collected continuously at 2-min intervals during rainfall erosion stages II and III. We found that SSR of the tilled surfaces ranged from 1.0% to 21.9% under the three tillage practices, and the order of the initial SSR for the three treatments was ZT0.49) for the ZT, SH and CP treatments. The runoff initiation time was longer in the SH and CP treatments than in the ZT treatment. There were no significant differences in the total runoff yields among the ZT, SH and CP treatments. 4Treatment‐related adverse events of antibody‐drug conjugates in clinical trials:A systematic review and meta‐analysis显示文摘Background:The wide use of antibody‐drug conjugates(ADCs)is transforming the cancer‐treatment landscape.Understanding the treatment‐related adverse events(AEs)of ADCs is crucial for their clinical application.We conducted a meta‐analysis to analyze the profile and incidence of AEs related to ADC use in the treatment of solid tumors and hematological malignancies.Methods:We searched the PubMed,Embase,and Cochrane Library databases for articles published from January 2001 to October 2022.The overall profile and incidence of all‐grade and grade≥3 treatment‐related AEs were the primary outcomes of the analysis.Results:A total of 138 trials involving 15,473 patients were included in this study.The overall incidence of any‐grade treatment‐related AEs was 100.0%(95%confidence interval[CI]:99.9%–100.0%;I2=89%)and the incidence of grade≥3 treatment‐related AEs was 6.2%(95%CI:3.0%–12.4%;I2=99%).Conclusions:This study provides a comprehensive overview of AEs related to ADCs used for cancer treatment.ADC use resulted in a high incidence of any‐grade AEs but a low incidence of grade≥3 AEs.The AE profiles and incidence differed according to cancer type,ADC type,and ADC components.Jinming Li Guoshuang Shen Zhen Liu Yaobang Liu Miaozhou Wang Fuxing Zhao Dengfeng Ren Qiqi Xie Zitao Li Zhilin Liu Yi Zhao Fei Ma Xinlan Liu Zhengbo Xu Jiuda Zhao 2023Cancer Innovation2023,2,5:1

7Ru(Ⅱ) Bipyridyl Complex and TiO2 Nanocomposite Based Biomolecule-free Photoelectrochemical Sensor for Highly Selective Determination of Ultra-trace Hg^2+ in Aqueous Systems显示文摘A biomolecule-free photoelectrochemical(PEC) probe(denoted as Ru-1) was designed, synthesized and coupled with TiO2 nanoparticles(NPs) for the highly sensitive and selective PEC detection of Hg^2+, a model analyte with hypertoxicity to both human health and ecosystem. The probe Ru-1 was designed with Ru(Ⅱ) bipyridyl complex as the chromophore, thiocyanate ligand as the recognition unit, and carboxylate group as the linkage site to connect Ru-1 to TiO2 nanoparticles. Under irradiation, Ru-1 shows strong affinity to TiO2 and good photophysical properties of strong visible light absorption, slow electron-hole(e-h^+) recombination, and fast photoelectron injection to TiO2 nanoparticles via the bridge of 4-(2,2-bipyridin)-4-yl-thiophene moiety. However, the specific coordination of Hg^2+ with Ru-1 via the thiol moiety in the thiocyanate enlarges the band gap of tlie complex and reduces the photocurrent significantly. The synergistic interaction between TiO2 nanoparticles and the Ru-1 complex led to a selective PEC sensing strategy for Hg^2+ detection. Detectable linear ranges from 10^-12 g/mL to 10^-7 g/mL and from 10^-7g/mL to 10^-3 g/mL were obtained without the interference from possibly co-existed metal ions. 12Survival nomogram for patients with de novo metastatic breast cancer based on the SEER database and an external validation cohort显示文摘Background On average,5-10%of patients are diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer(MBC)at the initial diagnosis.This study aimed to develop a nomogram to predict the overall survival(OS)in these patients.Methods The nomogram was based on a retrospective study of 9435 patients with de novo MBC from the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results(SEER)database.The predictive accuracy and discriminative ability of the nomogram were determined using the concordance index(C-index),area under the time-dependent receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC),and calibration curve.Decision curve analysis(DCA)was employed to evaluate the benefits and advantages of our new predicting model over the 8th edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer(AJCC)Tumor Node Metastasis(TNM)staging system.The results were validated in a retrospective study of 103 patients with de novo MBC from January 2013 to June 2022 at an institution in northwest China.Results Multivariate analysis of the primary cohort revealed that independent factors for survival were age at diagnosis,pathological type,histological grade,T stage,N stage,molecular subtype,bone metastasis,brain metastasis,liver metastasis,lung metastasis,surgery,chemotherapy,and radiotherapy.The nomogram achieved a C-index of 0.688(95%confidence interval[CI],0.682-0.694)in the training cohort and 0.875(95%CI,0.816-0.934)in the validation cohort.The AUC of the nomograms indicated good specificity and sensitivity in the training and validation cohorts,respectively.Calibration curves showed favorable consistency between the predicted and actual survival probabilities.Additionally,the DCA curve produced higher net gains than by the AJCC-TNM staging system.Finally,risk stratification can accurately identify groups of patients with de novo MBC at different risk levels.Conclusions The nomogram showed favorable predictive and discriminative abilities for OS in patients with de novo MBC.Other populations from different countries or prospective studies are needed to further validate the nomogram.Lizhi Ning Yaobang Liu Yujin Hou Miaozhou Wang Mingqiang Shi Zhen Liu Jiuda Zhao Xinlan Liu 2023Cancer Pathogenesis and Therapy2023,1,4:0
