| 1 | Flow characteristics of hypersonic inlets with different cowl-lip blunting methods显示文摘Under hypersonic flight conditions,the sharp cowl-lip leading edges have to be blunted because of the severe aerodynamic heating.This paper proposes four cowl-lip blunting methods and studies the corresponding flow characteristics and performances of the generic hypersonic inlets by numerical simulation under the design conditions of a flight Mach number of 6 and an altitude of 26 km.The results show that the local shock interference patterns in the vicinity of the blunted cowl-lips have a substantial influence on the flow characteristics of the hypersonic inlets even though the blunting radius is very small,which contribute to a pronounced degradation of the inlet performance.The Equal Length blunting Manner(ELM)is the most optimal in that a nearly even reflection of the ramp shock produces an approximately straight and weak cowl reflection shock.The minimal total pressure loss,the lowest cowl drag,maximum mass-capture and the minimal aeroheating are achieved for the hypersonic inlet.For the other blunting manners,the ramp shock cannot reflect evenly and produces more curved cowl reflection shock.The Type V shock interference pattern occurs for the Cross Section Cutting blunting Manner(CSCM)and the strongest cowl reflection shock gives rise to the largest flow loss and drag.The cowl-lip blunted by the other two blunting manners is subjected to the shock interference pattern that transits with an increase in the blunting radius.Accordingly,the peak heat flux does not fall monotonously with the blunting radius increasing.Moreover,the cowl-lip surface suffers from severe aerothermal load when the shear layer or the supersonic jet impinges on the wall. | LU HongBo YUE LianJie CHANG XinYu | 2014 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,4: | 13 |

| 3 | Numerical investigation on flow and convective heat transfer of aviation kerosene at supercritical conditions显示文摘In this paper,characteristics of flow and convective heat transfer of China RP-3 kerosene in straight circular pipe were numerically studied.Navier-Stokes equations were solved using RNG k-turbulence model with low Reynolds number correction.The thermophysical and transport properties of the China RP-3 kerosene were calculated with a 10-species surrogate and the extended corresponding state method(ECS) combined with Benedict-Webb-Rubin equation.The independence of grids was first studied and the numerical results were then compared with experimental data for validation.Under flow conditions given in the paper,the results show that deterioration of convective heat transfer occurs when the wall temperature is slightly higher than the pseudo-critical temperature of kerosene for cases with wall heat flux of 1.2 and 0.8 MW/m 2.The degree of the heat transfer deterioration is weakened as the heat flux decreases.The deterioration,however,does not happen when the heat flux on the pipe wall is reduced to 0.5 MW/m 2.Based on the analysis of the near-wall turbulent properties,it is found that the heat transfer deterioration and then the enhancement are attributed partly to the change in the turbulent kinetic energy in the vicinity of pipe wall.The conventional heat transfer relations such as Sieder-Tate and Gnielinski formulas can be used for the estimation of kerosene heat convection under subcritical conditions,but they are not capable of predicting the phenomenon of heat transfer deterioration.The modified Bae-Kim formula can describe the heat transfer deterioration.In addition,the frictional drag would increase dramatically when the fuel transforms to the supercritical state. | DANG GuoXin ZHONG FengQuan CHEN LiHong CHANG XinYu | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,2: | 12 |
| 4 | Optimization and test for spraying parameters of cotton defoliant sprayer显示文摘Boom sprayer is widely used in large farm crops because of its high working efficiency and favorable spraying effect.But there are still some problems in cotton defoliant spraying in Xinjiang,China.Cotton is planted in a high density in Xinjiang,the row space is(10+66)cm,leaves in two adjacent rows are seriously overlapped,the lower leavers are poorly sprayed,so the defoliation effect is poor,and the cotton quality is degraded.To solve this problem and improve the defoliant droplets coverage on the cotton canopy,the original boom spraying was modified,and the spraying pardameters was optimized by the central combination test and design concept of Box-Behnken based on a single-factor test.A quadratic polynomial model of droplets coverage was created by using working parameters including horizontal spraying boom height,hang boom height and nozzles angle as the influential factors and the mean droplets coverage on cotton canopy as the target function,and the effectiveness of mode and interaction of factors were analyzed.The model was optimized and analyzed using the regression analysis method and response surface analysis method of software Design-Expert 7.0.0,and the optimal combination of spraying parameters was obtained.The results showed that the droplets coverage on cotton canopy were influenced by boom height,sprayer height and angled nozzles sequentially from large to small,and the optimal combination of spraying parameters was under horizontal spraying boom height of 134 cm,hang spraying boom height of 27.5 cm and nozzles angle of 21°.The mean droplets coverage of experimental value and predicted value on cotton canopy were 19.6%and 20.43%respectively in such conditions,and the relative error to the estimated value on the model was–4.25%.The research result can provide a reference for further optimizing the spraying parameters of cotton defoliant sprayer. | Qin Weicai Xue Xinyu Cui Longfei Zhou Qingqing Xu Zhufeng Chang Feilong | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4: | 9 |
| 5 | Tianshanbeilu and the Isotopic Millet Road: reviewing the late Neolithic/Bronze Age radiation of human millet consumption from north China to Europe显示文摘The westward expansion of human millet consumption from north China has important implications for understanding early interactions between the East and West.However,few studies have focused on the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region,the vast geographical area directly linking the ancient cultures of the Eurasian Steppe and the Gansu Corridor of China.In this study,we present the largest isotopic investigation of Bronze Age China(n=110)on material from the key site of Tianshanbeilu,in eastern Xinjiang.The large range ofδ13C values(–17.6 to–7.2;–15.5±1.2)provides direct evidence of unique dietary diversity and consumption of significant C4 resources(millets).The highδ15N results(10.3 to 16.7;14.7±0.8)likely reflect sheep/goat and wild game consumption and the arid climate of the Taklamakan Desert.Radiocarbon dates from four individuals indicate Tianshanbeilu was in use between 1940 and1215 cal bc.The Tianshanbeilu results are then analysed with respect to 52 Bronze Age sites from across Eurasia,to investigate the spread and chronology of significant human millet consumption and human migration.This isotopic survey finds novel evidence that the second millennium bc was a dynamic period,with significant dietary interconnectivity occurring between north China,Central Asia and Siberia.Further,we argue that this‘Isotopic Millet Road’extended all the way to the Mediterranean and Central Europe,and conclude that these C4 dietary signatures of millet consumption reflect early links(migration and/or resource transfer)between the Bronze Age inhabitants of modern-day China and Europe. | Tingting Wang Dong Wei Xien Chang Zhiyong Yu Xinyu Zhang Changsui Wang Yaowu Hu Benjamin T.Fuller | 2019 | National Science Review2019,6,5: | 8 |

A scramjet model with strut/cavity integrated configurations was tested under Mach 5.8 flows. The results showed that the strut may sreve as an effective tool in a kerosene-fueled scramjet. The integration of strut/cavities also had great effect on stablizing the combustion in a wide range of fuel equivalence ratio. The one-sdimensional analysis method was used to analyze the main characteristics of the model. | 8 | Evaluation of COC183B2 antibody targeting ovarian cancer by near-infrared fluorescence imaging显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the imaging potential of a novel near-infrared(NIR) probe conjugated to COC183 B2 monoclonal antibodies(MAb) in ovarian cancer(OC).Methods: The expression of OC183 B2 antigen in OC was determined by immunohistochemical(IHC) staining using tissue microarrays with the H-score system and immunofluorescence(IF) staining of tumor cell lines.Imaging probes with the NIR fluorescent dye cyanine 7(Cy7) conjugated to COC183 B2 Mab were chemically engineered. OC183 B2-positive human OC cells(SKOV3-Luc) were injected subcutaneously into BALB/c nude mice. Bioluminescent imaging(BLI) was performed to detect tumor location and growth. COC183 B2-Cy7 at 1.1,3.3, 10, or 30 μg were used for in vivo fluorescence imaging, and phosphate-buffered saline(PBS), free Cy7 dye and mouse isotype immunoglobulin G(IgG)-Cy7(delivered at the same doses as COC183 B2-Cy7) were used as controls.Results: The expression of OC183 B2 with a high H-score was more prevalent in OC tissue than fallopian tube(FT) tissue. Among 417 OC patients, the expression of OC183 B2 was significantly correlated with the histological subtype, histological grade, residual tumor size, relapse state and survival status. IF staining demonstrated that COC183 B2 specifically expressed in SKOV3 cells but not HeLa cells. In vivo NIR fluorescence imaging indicated that COC183 B2-Cy7 was mainly distributed in the xenograft and liver with optimal tumor-to-background(T/B)ratios in the xenograft at 30 μg dose. The highest fluorescent signals in the tumor were observed at 96 h postinjection(hpi). Ex vivo fluorescence imaging revealed the fluorescent signals mainly from the tumor and liver. | 9 | Theoretical analysis of effects of boundary layer bleed on scramjet thrust显示文摘The effects of boundary layer bleed on the scramjet thrust are studied in the present paper.A theoretical model is developed to evaluate the thrust increment and influencing factors.The thrust increment resulting from the bleed is dominated by the rise in total pressure recovery and bleed mass flow rate.The bleed mass flow rate exerts stronger impact on the engine thrust than the total pressure.According to current bleed design,it is a severe challenge for the engine to enhance its total pressure to maintain the original thrust when there is no bleeding.Furthermore,the initial total pressure recovery,fuel mass addition,combustion efficiency and area ratio of engine exit to entrance can affect the contributions of the bleeding to the thrust increment.The scramjet needs a higher rise in total pressure recovery to counteract the negative effect of bleed mass loss at higher initial total pressure recovery or larger area ratio of engine exit/entrance.More heat release results in a little lower demand on the rise in total pressure recovery for maintaining the scramjet thrust.These results will aid in understanding the fundamental mechanism of bleeding on engine thrust. | YUE LianJie XU XianKun CHANG XinYu | 2013 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,10: | 3 |
| 10 | Numerical investigation on flow nonuniformity-induced hysteresis in scramjet isolator显示文摘Numerical simulation and theoretical analysis were conducted to study the hysteresis inside scramjet isolator during the reciprocating process of back pressure variation.It is revealed that only a regular reflection is theoretically possible for two leading shocks when the inflow Mach number is greater than 2.0,and no hysteresis can occur in the transition between shock reflection types.Nevertheless,wall suction,gas injection,and background waves cause non-uniformity of the incoming flow and would make hysteresis possible.Besides the classical hysteresis in the transition between shock reflection,new kinds of hysteresis were found in both the deflection angle of separated boundary layer and the location of the shock train.Moreover,the occurrence of hysteresis in the deflection angle of the separated boundary layer is accompanied with the shock reflection hysteresis.In the case with background waves or gas injection,hysteresis in the starting position of leading shock was observed too.As back pressure decreases,the leading shock does not follow the same path as that as the back pressure increases,and it is anchored at the location where the background shock or the injection interacts with the leading shock.It is inferred that,if two strong adverse pressure gradient regions move towards and interact with each other,hysteresis will take place when they start to separate. | Tinglong HUANG Lianjie YUE Shenghu MA Qifan ZHANG Peng ZHANG Xinyu CHANG | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,12: | 3 |

| 13 | Wind Tunnel Experiments and Numerical Study on Performance Characteristics of an H-type Vertical Axis Wind Turbine in the Spanwise Direction显示文摘The aerodynamic forces and vortex characteristics of an H-type Vertical Axis Wind Turbine(VAWT)become complicated because of dynamic stall,particularly in the three-dimensional impact on the blade spanwise direction.This study focused on the evaluation of the aerodynamic performance and vortex characteristics of an H-type VAWT in the spanwise direction by numerical simulations and wind tunnel experiments.Pressure acting on the blade surface was obtained from multiport pressure measurement devices by wind tunnel.Meanwhile,the vortex field around different blade sections was investigated through numerical simulations.The stall behavior was analysed by comparing the results of numerical simulations and experiments.As a result,the tangential force of single blade was mainly contributed at the chordwise position of x/c≤0.4 c and the power of single blade was mainly contributed at the azimuthal angle range of 60°≤θ≤150°in the blade section position region of 0≤z/(H/2)≤0.7.At the section position of z/(H/2)=0.5,the initial flow separation was found at the suction side and progressed forward to the leading edge.With the increase of the tip speed ratios,the decreasing position of the averaged local power coefficient of each section was closer to the middle section of z/(H/2)=0,and the attenuation speed became faster.The power coefficient reductions at the blade section position of z/(H/2)=0.9 were 38.29%,46.78%and 56.42%when the tip speed ratios were 1.38,2.19 and 2.58,respectively.The results of this study provided a better understanding of the development of the performance characteristics and vortex characteristics of H-type VAWT. | ZHANG Yanfeng LI Qing’an ZHU Xinyu SONG Xiaowen CAI Chang GUO Zhiping | 2021 | Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,3: | 2 |
| 14 | Aerothermal characteristics of bleed slot in hypersonic flows显示文摘Two types of flow configurations with bleed in two-dimensional hypersonic flows are numerically examined to investigate their aerodynamic thermal loads and related flow structures at choked conditions. One is a turbulent boundary layer flow without shock impingement where the effects of the slot angle are discussed, and the other is shock wave boundary layer interactions where the effects of slot angle and slot location relative to shock impingement point are surveyed. A key separation is induced by bleed barrier shock on the upstream slot wall, resulting in a localized maximum heat flux at the reattachment point. For slanted slots, the dominating flow patterns are not much affected by the change in slot angle, but vary dramatically with slot location relative to the shock impingement point. Different flow structures are found in the case of normal slot, such as a flow pattern similar to typical Laval nozzle flow, the largest separation bubble which is almost independent of the shock position. Its larger detached distance results in 20% lower stagnation heat flux on the downstream slot corner, but with much wider area suffering from severe thermal loads. In spite of the complexity of the flow patterns, it is clearly revealed that the heat flux generally rises with the slot location moving downstream, and an increase in slot angle from 20° to 40° reduces 50% the heat flux peak at the reattachment point in the slot passage. The results further indicate that the bleed does not raise the heat flux around the slot for all cases except for the area around the downstream slot corner. | 17 | A multi-step induced strategy to fabricate core-shell Pt-Ni alloy as symmetric electrocatalysts for overall water splitting显示文摘Devising an electrocatalyst with brilliant efficiency and satisfactory durability for hydrogen production is of considerable demand,especially for large-scale application.Herein,we adopt a multi-step consequential induced strategy to construct a bifunctional electrocatalyst for the overall water splitting.Graphene oxide(GO)was used as a carbon matrix and in situ oxygen source,which was supported by the octahedral PtNi alloy to form the PtxNiy-GO precursor.When calcinating in Ar atmosphere,the oxygen in GO induced the surface segregation of Ni from the PtNi octahedron to form a core-shell structure of Ptx@Niy.Then,the surface-enriched Ni continuously induced the reformation of C in reduced graphene oxide(rGO)to enhance the degree of graphitization.This multi-step induction formed a nanocatalyst Pt_(x)@Ni_(y)-rGO which has very high catalytic efficiency and stability.By optimizing the feeding ratio of PtNi(Pt:Ni=1:2),the electrolytic overall water splitting at 10 mA·cm^(-2) can be driven by an electrolytic voltage of as low as 1.485 V,and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)only needs an overpotential of 37 mV in 1.0 M KOH aqueous solution.Additionally,the catalyst exhibited consistent existence form in both HER and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),which was verified by switching the anode and cathode of the cell in the electrolysis of water.This work provides a new idea for the synthesis and evaluation of the bifunctional catalysts for water splitting. | Wenjuan Xu Jinfa Chang Yinggang Cheng Hongqi Liu Jifan Li Yongjian Ai Zenan Hu Xinyue Zhang Yiming Wang Qionglin Liang Yang Yang Hongbin Sun | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1 |
| 18 | Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B and advanced fibrosis or compensated cirrhosis显示文摘Background and aims:Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)is the first-line therapy for chronic hepatitis B.This interim analysis presents the efficacy and safety data for TDF at Week 144 in patients with chronic hepatitis B and advanced fibrosis or compensated cirrhosis from China.Methods:Patients were assessed for incidence of newly diagnosed hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and disease progression,liver stiffness measurement(LSM),virological suppression(serum hepatitis B virus DNA<20 IU/mL),alanine aminotransferase normalization,hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)loss and seroconversion,histological liver fibrosis score,and safety at Week 144.Results:Overall,197 patients were enrolled.At Week 144,the incidence of newly diagnosed HCC was observed in 2.1%patients,and the incidence of disease progression was observed in 3.6%patients.The mean(standard deviation)change in LSM from baseline was5.1(5.85)kPa.Serum hepatitis B virus DNA<20 IU/mL was observed in 94.1%patients,alanine aminotransferase normalization in 33.5%patients,HBeAg loss in 35.6%patients,and HBeAg seroconversion in 14.4%patients.Among patients with stage F3 or F4 fibrosis at baseline by LSM,38.3%patients regressed to stage F0/1,and 22.0%of patients regressed to stage F2 at Week 144.Overall,67.7%patients experienced≥1 adverse events,13.8%patients experienced TDF-related adverse events,and 16.4%patients experienced serious(none were TDF-related).Conclusions:At Week 144 of TDF treatment,low incidence of HCC and disease progression were reported.Virological suppression was observed in 94.1%patients,which was associated with fibrosis regression.No new safety events were identified. | Huiying Rao Jia Shang Qing Xie Jianqi Lian Pujun Gao Junping Shi Xinyue Chen Jiefei Wang Min Xu Liaoyun Zhang Yingren Zhao QingMao Maorong Wang Wei Zhao Zong Zhang Jidong Jia Hong Tang Jiming Zhang Xin Zheng Chang Liu Lai Wei | 2022 | iLIVER2022,1,3: | 1 |
| 19 | Photoresponse Characteristics of Chamaenerion spp. in Mount Shergyla显示文摘Chamaenerion spp.( Onagraceae) are a class of ecological restoration medicinal herbs. Mount Shergyla has three species and one variant of Chamaenerion. Studying their photoresponse characteristics and elucidating their adaptation and physiological response to the photosynthetic characteristics of the environment is the basis for the development and protection of the plant resources of the genus Chamaenerion. In this experiment,Li-6400 portable photosynthesis instrument was used to study the photoresponse characteristics of C. spp. in Mount Shergyla,and the photoresponse curves were fitted using a right-angle hyperbolic correction model. The results showed that Chamaenerion conspersum has low light compensation point[4. 931 μmol/( m^2·s) ],high light saturation point[1 000 μmol/( m^2·s) ],and strongest adaptability to light,which is one of the determinants of its distribution at each elevation of Mount Shergyla. Chamaenerion angustifolium subsp. circumvagum has higher light compensation point [11. 848 μmol/( m^2·s) ],low light saturation point[800 μmol/( m^2·s) ],and weakest adaptability to light,and it is a typical sciophilous plant. This result is consistent with the habitats( Rhododendron wardii shrub and spruce forest margin) that C. angustifolium are distributed in Mount Shergyla. C. angustifolium and Chamaenerion latifolium have higher light compensation points and higher light saturation points,suggesting that the adaptability of C. angustifolium and C. latifolium to the light environment is weak. This can also explain the narrow distribution of C. angustifolium and C. latifolium in Mount Shergyla. There are certain degree of differences in the responses of net photosynthetic rate( Pn),intercellular CO_2 concentration( Ci),stomatal conductance( Gs) and transpiration rate( Tr) of the three species and one variant of Chamaenerion to different photosynthetically active radiation( PAR). With the increase of light intensity,the Pn,Gs and Tr of Chamaenerion spp. increased significantly,and the Ci decreased. The Pn of C. conspersum and C. latifolium differed insignificantly,but they were both higher than that of C. angustifolium. The Pn of C. angustifolium subsp. circumvagum was the lowest. The Gs of C. conspersum and C. latifolium differed insignificantly,but they were both higher than that of C. angustifolium subsp. circumvagum. The Gs of C. angustifolium was the lowest. There was no obvious difference in Ci between C. angustifolium and C. latifolium,of which the Ci was both higher than that of C. conspersum. The Ci of C. angustifolium subsp. circumvagum was the lowest. C. angustifolium subsp. circumvagum had the highest Tr,followed by C. angustifolium and C. conspersum( no obvious difference),and C. latifolium had the lowest Tr. The light utilization efficiency of C. spp. ranked as C. angustifolium subsp. circumvagum < C. angustifolium < C. latifolium < C. conspersum. The light suppression phenomenon was evident in C. angustifolium,C. angustifolium subsp. circumvagum and C. latifolium. C. conspersum is most suitable for application under high light intensity conditions in Tibet.
