| 1 | Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in China:A Nationwide Multi-center Population-based Study Among Children Aged 6 to 12 Years显示文摘This study aimed to obtain the first national estimate of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in Chinese children.We targeted the population of 6 to 12-year-old children for this prevalence study by multistage convenient cluster sampling.The Modified Chinese Autism Spectrum Rating Scale was used for the screening process.Of the target population of 142,086 children,88.5%(n=125,806) participated in the study.A total of 363 children were confirmed as having ASD.The observed ASD prevalence rate was 0.29%(95% CI:0.26%-0.32%) for the overall population.After adjustment for response rates,the estimated number of ASD cases was867 in the target population sample,thereby achieving an estimated prevalence of 0.70%(95% CI:0.64%-0.74%).The prevalence was significantly higher in boys than in girls(0.95%;95% CI:0.87%-1.02% versus 0.30%;95%CI:0.26%-0.34%;P <0.001).Of the 363 confirmed ASD cases,43.3% were newly diagnosed,and most of those(90.4%) were attending regular schools,and 68.8% of the children with ASD had at least one neuropsychiatric comorbidity.Our findings provide reliable data on the estimated ASD prevalence and comorbidities in Chinese children. | Hao Zhou Xiu Xu Weili Yan Xiaobing Zou Lijie Wu Xuerong Luo Tingyu Li Yi Huang Hongyan Guan Xiang Chen Meng Mao Kun Xia Lan Zhang Erzhen Li Xiaoling Ge Lili Zhang Chunpei Li Xudong Zhang Yuanfeng Zhou Ding Ding Andy Shih Eric Fombonne Yi Zheng Jisheng Han Zhongsheng Sun Yong-hui Jiang Yi Wang LATENT-NHC Study Team | 2020 | Neuroscience Bulletin2020，36，9： | 158 |

| 5 | Molecular Typing of Leptospira interrogans Strains Isolated from Rattus tanezumi in Guizhou Province,Southwest of China显示文摘Objective To identify and type three leptospires isolated from Rattus tanezumi in Guizhou Province by using three molecular techniques (PFGE, MLVA, and MLST), reveal the molecular characteristic of causative agents of local leptospirosis and evaluate these three molecular methods based on their detection resolution and efficiency. Methods Three Leptospira strains were isolated from the kidney of Rattus tanezumi and cultured with EMJH medium. PFGE, MLVA, and MLST assays were applied to type the three strains isolated from Rattus tanezumi in Guizhou Province. Results PFGE, MLVA, and MLST typing showed that the three leptospiral isolates matched with leptospiral serogroup Icterohaemorrhagiae serovar Lai. The findings of the genotyping methods were consistent. MLVA and MLST defined genotypes, whereas PFGE allowed the recognition of additional subgroups within the genotypes, and the findings of molecular typing were also consistent with those of traditional techniques. | 6 | Remineralization of enamel caries by an amelogenin-derived peptide and fluoride in vitro显示文摘Dental caries is one of the most common oral diseases in the world.This study was tantamount to investigate the combinatory effects of an amelogenin-derived peptide(called QP5)and fluoride on the remineralization of artificial enamel caries.The peptide QP5 was synthesized and characterized,and the binding capability of the peptide on hydroxyapatite(HA)and demineralized tooth enamel surface was analysed.Then,the mineralization function of the peptide and fluoride was studied through the spontaneous mineralization testing and remineralization on enamel caries in vitro.First,the novel peptide QP5 could bind on the hydroxyapatite and demineralized tooth enamel surfaces.Second,QP5 can transitorily stabilize the formation of amorphous calcium phosphate and direct the transformation into hydroxyapatite crystals alone and in combination with fluoride.In addition,compared to blocks treated by peptide QP5 alone or fluoride,the sample blocks showed significantly higher surface microhardness,lower mineral loss and shallower lesion depth after treatment with a combination of QP5 and fluoride at high or low concentrations.The peptide QP5 could control the crystallization of hydroxyapatite,and combinatory application of peptide QP5 and fluoride had a potential synergistic effect on the remineralization of enamel caries. | Longjiang Ding Sili Han Kun Wang Sainan Zheng Wenyue Zheng Xiu Peng Yumei Niu Wei Li Linglin Zhang | 2020 | Regenerative Biomaterials2020，7，3： | 6 |

| 9 | Effects of the polysaccharides from Spirulina platensis on the activities of hepatitis B virus显示文摘To investigate the effects of the polysaccharides from Spirulina platensis (PSP) on hepatitis B virus (HBV), the cytotoxic effect of PSP was assessed by choosing the maximal concentration of PSP without cytotoxic effect on HepG2 2.2.15 cell line for further experiments. Four concentrations (400-50 μg/ml) of PSP were adopted to treat the cells, and the supernatants or cells were collected after 24, 48, 72 and 144 h respectively. HBsAg and HBeAg in the supernatants of cell cultures were tested with ELISA and copies of HBV DNA in supernatants were measured by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (FQ-PCR). Meanwhile, DNA/RNA hybridization was performed to evaluate the expression of IFN-α receptor (IFN-αR) on the cells. The experimental results showed that the secretion of HBV antigens decreased under the influence of PSP in a dose and time-dependent manner. PSP in concentration of 400 μg/ml could significantly decrease the secretion of HBsAg in 24 h. Although no obvious effect was observed on the secretion of HBeAg at that time, the inhibitory effects were observed in a dose-dependent manner from 48 to 144 h. In addition, the copies of HBV DNA were declined under the influence of PSP in the same manner, moreover, the maximal suppressive effect of PSP in concentration of 400 μg/ml was as great as that of lamivudine. The expression of IFN-αR was much higher in PSP-treated cells than that of the un-treated cells also in dose and time-dependent manner. It is concluded that PSP in non-cytotoxic concentration not only significantly decreases the secretion of the HBV antigens and the replication of HBV DNA, but also increases the expression of IFN-αR on HepG2 2.2.15 cell line.
