1Assessment of nomadic rice-duck complex ecosystem on energy and economy显示文摘Introduction:Modern intensive rice production has brought a large amount of environmental pollution and do not guarantee the safety of rice quality.Thus,to improve the farmer's rice production model to reduce agro-chemicals is of great importance to decrease pollution and to guarantee the security of food quality.Here,our experiments illustrated that nomadic rice-duck complex ecosystem(RD)could reduce energy input and increase both energy output and the values of the product safety index based on energy(PSI).Results:According to the results of our experiments,RD and rice monoculture production system(RM)were-0.6 and-0.78,respectively,which indicated that the safety potential of products in RD was higher than that of RM.Protein yield based on RD was significantly higher than that of RM.The output/input,gross income,and net income of RD were 15.26%,39.51%,and 44.80%,respectively,higher than that of RM;the data suggest that the economic benefits of RD were greater than that of RM.Conclusions:Consequently,as an intermediate-type technology,RD could become a feasible alternative that could reduce agro-chemical application rate without decreasing rice yield and increasing labor intensity.Furthermore,as an inheritance and development of the Chinese farming culture,RD is a classic Chinese farming technology withstanding more than 700 years of tests.Huabin Zheng Huang Huang Diqin Li Xumeng Li Zhiqiang Fu Can Chen 2014Ecological Processes2014,3,1:5
2A survey of network anomaly visualization显示文摘Network anomaly analysis is an emerging subtopic of network security. Network anomaly refers to the unusual behavior of network devices or suspicious network status. A number of intelligent visual tools are developed to enhance the ability of network security analysts in understanding the original data, ultimately solving network security problems. This paper surveys current progress and trends in network anomaly visualization. By providing an overview of network anomaly data, visualization tasks, and applications, we further elaborate on existing methods to depict various data features of network alerts, anomalous traffic, and attack patterns data. 3Real-time monitoring of optimum timing for harvesting fresh tea leaves based on machine vision显示文摘The harvesting time of fresh tea leaves has a significant impact on product yield and quality.The aim of this study was to propose a method for real-time monitoring of the optimum harvesting time for picking fresh tea leaves based on machine vision.Firstly,the shapes of fresh tea leaves were distinguished from RGB images of the tea-tree canopy after graying with the improved B-G algorithm,filtering with a median filter algorithm,binary processing with the Otsu algorithm,and noise reduction and edge smoothing using open and close operations.Then the leaf characteristics,such as leaf area index,average length,and leaf identification index,were calculated.Based on these,the Bayesian discriminant principle and method were used to construct a discriminant model for fresh tea-leaf collection status.When this method was applied to a RGB tea-tree canopy image acquired at 45°shooting angle,the fresh tea-leaf recognition rate was 90.3%,and the accuracy for fresh tea-leaf harvesting status was 98%by cross validation.Hence,this method provides the basic conditions for future tea-plantation operation and management using information technology,automation,and intelligent systems.Liang Zhang Hongduo Zhang Yedong Chen Sihui Dai Xumeng Li Kenji Imou Zhonghua Liu Ming Li 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,1:2

12Uniform, fast, and reliable CMOS compatible resistive switching memory显示文摘Resistive switching random access memory(RRAM) is considered as one of the potential candidates for next-generation memory. However, obtaining an RRAM device with comprehensively excellent performance, such as high retention and endurance, low variations, as well as CMOS compatibility, etc., is still an open question. In this work, we introduce an insert TaO_(x) layer into HfO_(x)-based RRAM to optimize the device performance. Attributing to robust filament formed in the TaO_(x) layer by a forming operation, the local-field and thermal enhanced effect and interface modulation has been implemented simultaneously. Consequently, the RRAM device features large windows(> 10^(3)), fast switching speed(-10 ns), steady retention(> 72h), high endurance(> 10^(8) cycles), and excellent uniformity of both cycle-to-cycle and device-to-device. 13A novel colorimetric and ratiometric NIR fluorescent sensor for glutathione based on dicyanomethylene-4H-pyran in living cells显示文摘Glutathione(GSH)plays a critical role in maintaining oxidation-reduction homeostasis in biological systems.Considering the detection of GSH by fluorescence sensors is limited by either the short wavelength emission or the poor photostability,a highly stable colorimetric and ratiometric NIR fluorescent sensor(DCM-S)for GSH detection has been constructed on the basis of dicyanomethylene-4H-pyran(DCM)chromophore.The specific disulfide bond is incorporated via a carbamate linker as the GSH responsive group,which simultaneously blue-shifts and quenches the fluorescence.Upon addition of GSH,DCM-S exhibits outstanding colorimetric(from yellow to red)and ratiometric fluorescent response with the 6-fold enhancement of NIR fluorescence at 665 nm in quantum yield.More importantly,the GSH-treated DCM-S(DCM-NH_2 actually)possesses 20-fold longer fluorescence half-life period as well as much better photostability than the FDA-approved ICG.Finally,the ratiometric detection of GSH is also successfully operated in the living cell imaging,exhibiting NIR fluorescence and large Stokes shift(215 nm)with nearly no background fluorescence interference.As a consequence,DCM-S can be utilized as colorimetric and ratiometric NIR fluorescent sensor for GSH,with a great potential in the development of GSH-induced drug delivery system.xumeng wu andong shao shiqin zhu zhiqian guo weihong zhu 2016Science China Chemistry2016,59,1:1

17Reliable ferroelectricity down to cryogenic temperature in wakeup free Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2)thin films by thermal atomic layer deposition显示文摘The performance and reliability of ferroelectric thin films at temperatures around a few Kelvin are critical for their application in cryo-electronics.In this work,TiN/Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2)/TiN capacitors that are free from the wake-up effect are investigated systematically from room temperature(300 K)to cryogenic temperature(30 K).We observe a consistent decrease in permittivity(εr)and a progressive increase in coercive electric field(Ec)as temperatures decrease.Our investigation reveals exceptional stability in the double remnant polarization(2P_(r))of our ferroelectric thin films across a wide temperature range.Specifically,at 30 K,a 2P_(r)of 36μC/cm^(2)under an applied electric field of 3.0 MV/cm is achieved.Moreover,we observed a reduced fatigue effect at 30 K in comparison to 300 K.The stable ferroelectric properties and endurance characteristics demonstrate the feasibility of utilizing HfO_(2)based ferroelectric thin films for cryo-electronics applications.Shuyu Wu Rongrong Cao Hao Jiang Yu Li Xumeng Zhang Yang Yang Yan Wang Yingfen Wei Qi Liu 2024Journal of Semiconductors2024,45,3:0
18A neuromorphic core based on threshold switching memristor with asynchronous address event representation circuits显示文摘The full memristive network hardware features high density and excellent scalability.However,recent researches on the full memristive network have been limited to a single-layer network,due to the lack of effective and flexible communication between neurons.In this design,we demonstrate a neuromorphic core based on Ag/SiO_(2)/Au threshold switching memristor,which has built-in asynchronous address event representation(AER)circuits to provide flexible communication between neurons.Since temporally sparse spikes are the medium of communication between neurons,the AER circuits are designed to transmit spikes serially which have been encoded with neurons’addresses before transmission.With the asynchronous circuits design,the AER circuits will detect neurons’output in real-time.To test the performance of the neuromorphic core,we designed a behavioral simulator for the neuromporphic core to simulate the liquid state machine(LSM)network,which achieves a 100%recognition rate in the free spoken digital dataset.The simulation results show that the neuromorphic core obtains 35 times higher performance than the CPU and111 times higher energy efficiency than the GPU.Jinsong WEI Jilin ZHANG Xumeng ZHANG Zuheng WU Rui WANG Jian LU Tuo SHI Mansun CHAN Qi LIU Hong CHEN 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,2:0
19Modulating 3D memristor synapse by analog spiking pulses for bioinspired neuromorphic computing显示文摘Memristor based artificial synapses have demonstrated great potential for bioinspired neuromorphic computing in recent years.To emulate synaptic functions, such as short-term plasticity and long-term potentiation/depression, square pulses or combined complex pulse groups are applied on the device. However, in biological neuron systems, the action potentials are analog pulses with similar amplitudes. Furthermore, in biological systems, the intensity of the stimulus is coded into the frequency of action potentials to modulate the weight of synapses. Toward this programming method, we applied a series of analog spiking pulses with same peaks on Ru/TiO_x/TiN 3D memristor to emulate synaptic functions, such as long-term potentiation/depression and synaptic saturation. Moreover, we demonstrated the conductance change of the device under different stimulus frequencies of analog spiking pulses and described the statistical results of conductance change value, which shows that the device conductance has a larger change value under a higher spiking frequency with identical pulse number. 20Destabilising persistent coal froth using silicone oil显示文摘Persistent froth is becoming more and more common in coal and mineral flotation plants and presents safety and operational challenges.No effective method has been developed to destabilise persistent froth.As a new initiative,this study examined the structural difference between persistent foam and coal froth,based on which a solution was developed to maximumly destabilise coal froth.Destabilisation test,oscillatory rheology measurement and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) analysis indicated that the coal froth was more stable than the foam due to the formation of thin capillaries and tightly arranged coal particles on bubble surfaces.Although 107 μm silicone oil droplet could completely destabilise the foam at 2 mmol/L concentration,it only destabilised less than 50% coal froth even at 6 mmol/L concentration.To maximumly destabilise the coal froth formed by-38 and-20 μm particles,24 and 18 μm silicone oil droplets were required to pass through the thin capillaries and enter the bubble films,respectively.However,smaller silicone oil droplets could not bridge the bubble films to destabilise coal froth and therefore a critical droplet size occurred depending on the size of particles stabilising the froth.Shiqi Liu Xumeng Chen Yongjun Peng 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6:0
