3A Review on Binderless Tungsten Carbide: Development and Application显示文摘WC-Co alloys have enjoyed great practical significance owing to their excellent properties during the past decades.Despite the advantages,however,recently there have been concerns about the challenges associated with the use of Co,i.e.price instability,toxicity and properties degeneration,which necessitates the fabrication of binderless tungsten carbide(BTC).On the other hand,BTC or BTC composites,none of them,to date has been commercialized and produced on an industrial scale,but only used to a limited extent for specialized applications,such as mechanical seals undergoing high burthen as well as high temperature electrical contacts.There are two challenges in developing BTC:fully densifying the sintered body together with achieving a high toughness.Thus,this review applies towards comprehensively summarize the current knowledge of sintering behavior,microstructure,and mechanical properties of BTC,highlighting the densification improving strategies as well as toughening methods,so as to provide reference for those who would like to enhance the performance of BTC with better reliability advancing them to further wide applications and prepare the material in a way that is environment friendly,harmless to human health and low in production cost.This paper shows that the fabrication of highly dense and high-performance BTC is economically and technically feasible.The properties of BTC can be tailored by judiciously selecting the chemical composition coupled with taking into careful account the effects of processing techniques and parameters.Jialin Sun Jun Zhao Zhifu Huang Ke Yan Xuehui Shen Jiandong Xing Yimin Gao Yongxin Jian Hejie Yang Bo Li 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,1:8

5Biochemistry of mammalian ferritins in the regulation of cellular iron homeostasis and oxidative responses显示文摘Ferritin,an iron-storage protein,regulates cellular iron metabolism and oxidative stress.The ferritin structure is characterized as a spherical cage,inside which large amounts of iron are deposited in a safe,compact and bioavailable form.All ferritins readily catalyze Fe(II)oxidation by peroxides at the ferroxidase center to prevent free Fe(II)from participating in oxygen free radical formation via Fenton chemistry.Thus,ferritin is generally recognized as a cytoprotective stratagem against intracellular oxidative damage.The expression of cytosolic ferritins is usually regulated by iron status and oxidative stress at both the transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels.The mechanism of ferritin-mediated iron recycling is far from clarified,though nuclear receptor co-activator 4(NCOA4)was recently identified as a cargo receptor for ferritin-based lysosomal degradation.Cytosolic ferritins are heteropolymers assembled by H-and L-chains in different proportions.The mitochondrial ferritins are homopolymers and distributed in restricted tissues.They play protective roles in mitochondria where heme-and Fe/S-enzymes are synthesized and high levels of ROS are produced.Genetic ferritin disorders are mainly related to the L-chain mutations,which generally cause severe movement diseases.This review is focused on the biochemistry and function of mammalian intracellular ferritin as the major iron-storage and anti-oxidation protein.Jianlin Zhang Xuehui Chen Juanji Hong Aifa Tang Yang Liu Ni Xie Guohui Nie Xiyun Yan Minmin Liang 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,3:5

7Genome-wide identification of agronomically important genes in outcrossing crops using OutcrossSeq显示文摘Many important crops(e.g.,tuber,root,and tree crops)are cross-pollinating.For these crops,no inbred lines are available for genetic study and breeding because they are self-incompatible,clonally propagated,or have a long generation time,making the identification of agronomically important genes difficult,particularly in crops with a complex autopolyploid genome.In this study,we developed a method,OutcrossSeq,for mapping agronomically important loci in outcrossing crops based on whole-genome low-coverage resequencing of a large genetic population,and designed three computation algorithms in OutcrossSeq for different types of outcrossing populations.We applied OutcrossSeq to a tuberous root crop(sweet potato,autopolyploid),a tree crop(walnut tree,highly heterozygous diploid),and hybrid crops(double-cross populations)to generate high-density genotype maps for the outcrossing populations,which enable precise identification of genomic loci underlying important agronomic traits.Candidate causative genes at these loci were detected based on functional clues.Taken together,our results indicate that OutcrossSeq is a robust and powerful method for identifying agronomically important genes in heterozygous species,including polyploids,in a cost-efficient way.The OutcrossSeq software and its instruction manual are available for downloading at www.xhhuanglab.cn/tool/OutcrossSeq.html.Mengjiao Chen Weijuan Fan Feiyang Ji Hua Hua Jie Liu Mengxiao Yan Qingguo Ma Jiongjiong Fan Qin Wang Shufeng Zhang Guiling Liu Zhe Sun Changgeng Tian Fengling Zhao Jianli Zheng Qi Zhang Jiaxin Chen Jie Qiu Xin Wei Ziru Chen Peng Zhang Dong Pei Jun Yang Xuehui Huang 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,4:4
8Dielectric and Ferroelectric Properties of BaTiO_3 Nanofibers Prepared via Electrospinning显示文摘BaTiO3 nanofibers of about 400 nm in diameter were synthesized via electrospinning.The evolution of the morphology and phase composition of the BaTiO3 nanofibers was studied by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction within the annealing temperature of 750-1050 ℃.Higher annealing temperature led to rougher surface and better crystallization of the BaTiO3 nanofibers.Below 1050 ℃,the BaTiO3 nanofibers maintained its large aspect ratios and could still be regarded as individual nanofiber.The dielectric permittivities of the BaTiO3 nanofibers(εr 820) were calculated with the MG equation by considering the porous bulk specimens as composites of BaTiO3 nanofibers and air.The ferroelectric properties of the BaTiO3nanofibers were measured by using a ferroelectric analyzer coupled with an atomic force microscope.P-E loop measured for the BaTiO3 nanofiber exhibits small hysteresis.Yan Wei Yu Song Xuliang Deng Bing Han Xuehui Zhang Yang Shen Yuanhua Lin 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,8:3

15干扰COX-2基因表达对人肺腺癌A2细胞体外恶性增殖的影响(英文)显示文摘Objective:We explored the interfering effect of COX-2 gene expression and the influence on the malignant proliferation of A2 cells by RNAi after quenching COX-2 in vitro. Methods:COX-2 was selected as the subject. Three COX-2 siRNA expression vectors with human U6 promoter were constructed and three vectors and the vacant vector (pEGFP) were transfected into A2 cells with lipofectamine respectively. The cell strains transfected were constructed. The change of COX-2 expression levels was examined by Western blot and RT-PCR. The effects on the proliferation of A2 cells after silencing COX-2 were studied by cell growth curve and clonogenic assay in vitro. Results: The three siRNA and U6 promoter cloned into pEGFP plasmid were validated by PCR, restriction endonucleases identification, DNA sequencing and BLAST alignment. The cell strains transfected were named as A2-3, A2-7, A2-10 and A2-p respectively. Green fluorescence was seen in A2-p cells and not in A2-3, A2-7 and A2-10 cells in 24, 48 and 72 h after transfected. The results of RT-PCR and Western blot showed the three siRNA expression vectors produced effects and the expression of COX-2 was inhibited in different extent. In contrast to A2 cells, the levels of COX-2 mRNA of A2-3, A2-7 and A2-10 cells reduced 15.6%, 20.4% and 64.2% respectively; the levels of COX-2 protein of A2-3, A2-7 and A2-10 cells reduced 23.7%, 36.7% and 60.2% respectively. The results of cell growth curve and clonogenic assay showed the growth of A2-10 cell slowed and the colonial formation rate reduced but the growth of A2-3 and A2-7 cells had not obvious changes in contrast to the controls (A2 and A2-p).
