| 1 | Association between intestinal microbiota and inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),which includes Crohn’s disease(CD)and ulcerative colitis(UC),has emerged as a global disease with high incidence, long duration, devastating clinical symptoms, and low curability(relapsing immune response and barrier function defects).Mounting studies have been performed to investigate its pathogenesis to provide an ever-expanding arsenal of therapeutic options, while the precise etiology of IBD is not completely understood yet.Recent advances in highthroughput sequencing methods and animal models have provided new insights into the association between intestinal microbiota and IBD.In general, dysbiosis characterized by an imbalanced microbiota has been widely recognized as a pathology of IBD.However, intestinal microbiota alterations represent the cause or result of IBD process remains unclear. Therefore, more evidences are needed to identify the precise role of intestinal microbiota in the pathogenesis of IBD.Herein, this review aims to outline the current knowledge of commonly used, chemically induced, and infectious mouse models, gut microbiota alteration and how it contributes to IBD,and dysregulated metabolite production links to IBD pathogenesis. | Yunchang Zhang Xuemeng Si Ling Yang Hui Wang Ye Sun Ning Liu | 2022 | Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2022,5,4: | 3 |
| 2 | A new progressive open-set recognition method with adaptive probability threshold显示文摘In the traditional pattern classification method,it usually assumes that the object to be classified must lie in one of given(known)classes of the training data set. However, the training data set may not contain the class of some objects in practice, and this is considered as an Open-Set Recognition(OSR)problem. In this paper,we propose a new progressive open-set recognition method with adaptive probability threshold. Both the labeled training data and the test data(objects to be classified)are put into a common data set,and the k-Nearest Neighbors(k-NNs)of each object are sought in this common set. Then,we can determine the probability of object lying in the given classes. If the majority of k-NNs of the object are from labeled training data, this object quite likely belongs to one of the given classes, and the density of the object and its neighbors is taken into account here. However, when most of k-NNs are from the unlabeled test data set,the class of object is considered very uncertain because the class of test data is unknown, and this object cannot be classified in this step.Once the objects belonging to known classes with high probability are all found,we re-calculate the probability of the other uncertain objects belonging to known classes based on the labeled training data and the objects marked with the estimated probability.Such iteration will stop when the probabilities of all the objects belonging to known classes are not changed. Then,a modified Otsu’s method is employed to adaptively seek the probability threshold for the final classification. If the probability of object belonging to known classes is smaller than this threshold,it will be assigned to the ignorant(unknown)class that is not included in training data set.The other objects will be committed to a specific class. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been validated using some experiments. | Zhunga LIU Xuemeng HUI Yimin FU | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,11: | 0 |
| 3 | Target-responsive DNAzyme hydrogel for portable colorimetric detection of lanthanide(Ⅲ)ions显示文摘Lanthanide elements(Ln)play an important role in industry and agriculture. As a result of the increasing consumption of lanthanides, environmental emission of Ln has become detrimental to the health of flora and fauna.Current methods for trace lanthanides detection mainly rely on sophisticated instruments. In this article,a Ln^(3+)dependent DNAzyme was incorporated into a hydrogel to generate Ln^(3+)sensitive DNAzyme hydrogel for portable colorimetric detection. The enzyme strand and its substrate strand act as crosslinker and functional unit of the hydrogel with polyacrylamide chains as the scaffold and gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)as the indicator of hydrogel stability.Any ions in the Ln^(3+)series can trigger the cleavage of substrate strand by activating the enzyme strand, thereby decreasing the crosslink ratio and leading to collapse of the hydrogel. The release of the encapsulated AuNPs turns the supernatant wine red.Using this colorimetric method,Ln^(3+)can be detected with high sensitivity, with a limit of detection(LOD)of 20 nM for Ce^(3+).The hydrogel responds specifically to any Ln^(3+)ion and works well with the spiked lake sample without the need of instruments and skilled operators. Our results suggest that the lanthanide responsive hydrogel can be used for portable and sensitive detection of Ln^(3+)contamination in the field. | Yishun Huang Xuemeng Wu Tian Tian Zhi Zhu Hui Lin Chaoyong Yang | 2017 | Science China Chemistry2017,60,2: | 0 |
| 4 | Simulation of Two-Phase Flowback Phenomena in Shale Gas Wells显示文摘The gas-water two-phaseflow occurring as a result of fracturingfluidflowback phenomena is known to impact significantly the productivity of shale gas well.In this work, this two-phaseflow has been simulated in the framework of a hybrid approach partially relying on the embedded discrete fracture model(EDFM).This model assumes the region outside the stimulated reservoir volume(SRV)as a single-medium while the SRV region itself is described using a double-medium strategy which can account for thefluid exchange between the matrix and the micro-fractures.The shale gas adsorption, desorption, diffusion, gas slippage effect, fracture stress sensitivity, and capillary imbibition have been considered. The shale gas production, pore pressure distribution and water saturation distribution in the reservoir have been simulated. The influences of hydraulic fracture geometry and nonorthogonal hydraulic fractures on gas production have been determined and discussed accordingly. The simulation results show that the daily gas production has an upward and downward trend due to the presence of a large amount of fracturingfluid in the reservoir around the hydraulic fracture. The smaller the angle between the hydraulic fracture and the wellbore, the faster the daily production of shale gas wells decreases, and the lower the cumulative production.Nonplanar fractures can increase the control volume of hydraulic fractures and improve the production of shale gas wells. | Yongwei Duan Zhaopeng Zhu Hui He Gaoliang Xuan Xuemeng Yu | 2024 | Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2024,20,2: | 0 |
