1Fe3O4/Au composite nano-particles and their optical properties显示文摘Fe3O4/Au composite particles with core/shell structure were prepared by reduction of Au3+ with hydroxylamine in the presence of an excess of Fe3O4 as seeds.The resultant col-loids,with an average diameter of less than 100 nm,were obtained;the remaining non-reacted Fe3O4 seeds can be removed by treatment with diluted HCl solution.The Fe3O4/Au colloids ex-hibit a characteristic peak of UV-visible spectra,which largely depend on the size of the particle and the suspension medium.The localized surface plasmon resonance peaks red shift and broaden with increased nanoparticle diameter or increased solvent ionic strength.The optical property is very important in the establishment of means for the detection of biomolecules.CUI Yali HUI Wenli SU Jing WANG Yani CHEN Chao 2005Science China Chemistry2005,48,4:8
2Comparison of benzothiazole-based dyes for sensitive DNA detection显示文摘For efficient and quantitative DNA detection,fluorescence staining is the most often explored approach,which relies on non-covalent binding of dyes with double stranded DNA(dsDNA).Ethidium bromide(EB)is the most classic DNA stain,but suffers from its high carcinogenicity.A series of less toxic alternatives were developed,many of which contain the core structure of the benzothiazole ring.However,the relationship between the structure and the DNA detection performance was not illustrated.Herein,five benzothiazole dyes,namely thiazole orange,SYBR Green I,Pico Green,SYBR Safe,and thioflavine-T,were compared for DNA detection through direct fluorescence and gel electrophoresis,with particular focus on the structure-performance relationship.It turned out that SYBR Green I is currently the best choice for DNA detection.The results in this work may be useful for future DNA-staining dye developments.Yanying Wang Ronghui Zhou Wenxue Liu Chao Liu Peng Wu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,11:4
3Comparison of different combined treatment processes to address the source water with high concentration of natural organic matter during snowmelt period显示文摘The source water in one forest region of the Northeast China had very high natural organic matter(NOM) concentration and heavy color during snowmelt period. The efficiency of five combined treatment processes was compared to address the high concentration of NOM and the mechanisms were also analyzed. Conventional treatment can hardly remove dissolved organic carbon(DOC) in the source water. KMn O4pre-oxidization could improve the DOC removal to 22.0%. Post activated carbon adsorption improved the DOC removal of conventional treatment to 28.8%. The non-sufficient NOM removal could be attributed to the dominance of large molecular weight organic matters in raw water, which cannot be adsorbed by the micropore upon activated carbon. O3+ activated carbon treatment are another available technology for eliminating the color and UV254 in water. However, its performance of DOC removal was only 36.4%, which could not satisfy the requirement for organic matter. The limited ozone dosage is not sufficient to mineralize the high concentration of NOM. Magnetic ion-exchange resin combined with conventional treatment could remove 96.2%of color, 96.0% of UV254 and 87.1% of DOC, enabling effluents to meet the drinking water quality standard. The high removal efficiency could be explained by the negative charge on the surface of NOM which benefits the static adsorption of NOM on the anion exchange resin. 7Design and implementation of near-memory computing array architecture based on shared buffer显示文摘Deep learning algorithms have been widely used in computer vision,natural language processing and other fields.However,due to the ever-increasing scale of the deep learning model,the requirements for storage and computing performance are getting higher and higher,and the processors based on the von Neumann architecture have gradually exposed significant shortcomings such as consumption and long latency.In order to alleviate this problem,large-scale processing systems are shifting from a traditional computing-centric model to a data-centric model.A near-memory computing array architecture based on the shared buffer is proposed in this paper to improve system performance,which supports instructions with the characteristics of store-calculation integration,reducing the data movement between the processor and main memory.Through data reuse,the processing speed of the algorithm is further improved.The proposed architecture is verified and tested through the parallel realization of the convolutional neural network(CNN)algorithm.The experimental results show that at the frequency of 110 MHz,the calculation speed of a single convolution operation is increased by 66.64%on average compared with the CNN architecture that performs parallel calculations on field programmable gate array(FPGA).The processing speed of the whole convolution layer is improved by 8.81%compared with the reconfigurable array processor that does not support near-memory computing.山蕊 GAO Xu FENG Yani HUI Chao CUI Xinyue CHAI Miaomiao 2022High Technology Letters2022,28,4:0
8Averrhoa carambola extractive inhibits breast cancer via regulating CEPT1 and LYPLA1显示文摘Liposomes have been widely exploited as a drug delivery system in treating tumors because of their advantage to enhance anti-tumor efficacy and reduce side effects. In this study, the tumor-targeted 2-dodecyl-6-methoxycyclohexa-2,5-diene-1,4-dione(DMDD, i.e., Averrhoa carambola extractive) liposomes(HA/TN-DLP) were conducted and assessed. HA/TN-DLP showed controllable drug loading(up to 83%)with high stability. In vitro and in vivo studies showed good cell uptake behavior and high inhibition rate of breast cancer compared to free DMDD. HA/TN-DLP might be the suitable for DMDD due to its better advantages in delivery, penetrability, and targeting-tumor capability. For in vivo mouse model tests,HA/TN-DLP effectively inhibited tumor growth compared to free DMDD. Further analyses indicated that HA/TN-DLP inhibited the glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway by reducing the biosynthesis of phosphatidylcholine and 1-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine through regulating the expressions of CEPT1 and LYPLA1, and inhibited tumor cell growth by regulating the PI3K/Akt and NF-κ B signaling pathways.
