| 3 | Preparation of AZO Nanoparticles, Ceramic Targets and Thin Films by a Co-precipitaition Method显示文摘We comprehensively study the co-precipitation preparation of aluminum doped zinc oxide(AZO) nanoparticles, ceramic target and thin fi lm deposition. The nanoparticles calcined below 700 ℃ possessed pure wurtzite structure of ZnO. When the calcination temperature exceeded 700 ℃, ZnAl_2O_4 phase appeared. The resistivity and relative density of the AZO target pressed from nanoparticles were 3×10^(-3) Ω?cm and 99.1%, respectively. The minimum resistivity of AZO thin films prepared by DC sputtering of the ceramic target reached 4.1×10^(–4) Ω?cm with the mobility of 33 cm^2/v?s and the carrier concentration of 4.5 ×10^(20) cm^(-3). | 4 | Exosomes secreted from cardiomyocytes suppress the sensitivity of tumor ferroptosis in ischemic heart failure显示文摘Heart failure(HF)patients in general have a higher risk of developing cancer.Several animal studies have indicated that cardiac remodeling and HF remarkably accelerate tumor progression,highlighting a cause-and-effect relationship between these two disease entities.Targeting ferroptosis,a prevailing form of non-apoptotic cell death,has been considered a promising therapeutic strategy for human cancers.Exosomes critically contribute to proximal and distant organ-organ communications and play crucial roles in regulating diseases in a paracrine manner.However,whether exosomes control the sensitivity of cancer to ferroptosis via regulating the cardiomyocyte-tumor cell crosstalk in ischemic HF has not yet been explored.Here,we demonstrate that myocardial infarction(MI)decreased the sensitivity of cancer cells to the canonical ferroptosis activator erastin or imidazole ketone erastin in a mouse model of xenograft tumor.Post-MI plasma exosomes potently blunted the sensitivity of tumor cells to ferroptosis inducers both in vitro in mouse Lewis lung carcinoma cell line LLC and osteosarcoma cell line K7M2 and in vivo with xenograft tumorigenesis model.The expression of miR-22-3p in cardiomyocytes and plasma-exosomes was significantly upregulated in the failing hearts of mice with chronic MI and of HF patients as well.Incubation of tumor cells with the exosomes isolated from post-MI mouse plasma or overexpression of miR-22-3p alone abrogated erastin-induced ferroptotic cell death in vitro.Cardiomyocyte-enriched miR-22-3p was packaged in exosomes and transferred into tumor cells.Inhibition of cardiomyocyte-specific miR-22-3p by AAV9 sponge increased the sensitivity of cancer cells to ferroptosis.ACSL4,a pro-ferroptotic gene,was experimentally established as a target of miR-22-3p in tumor cells.Taken together,our findings uncovered for the first time that MI suppresses erastin-induced ferroptosis through releasing miR-22-3p-enriched exosomes derived from cardiomyocytes.Therefore,targeting exosome-mediated cardiomyocyte/tumor pathological communication may offer a novel approach for the ferroptosis-based antitumor therapy. | Ye Yuan Zhongting Mei Zhezhe Qu Guanghui Li Shuting Yu Yingqi Liu Kuiwu Liu Zhihua Shen Jiaying Pu Yanquan Wang Changhao Wang Zhiyong Sun Qian Liu Xiaochen Pang Ao Wang Zijing Ren Tong Wang Ying Liu Jinhuan Hong Jiajie Xie Xin Li Zhonghua Wang Weijie Du Baofeng Yang | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4: | 2 |

| 7 | Magnesium-based materials in orthopaedics:material properties and animal models显示文摘As a new generation of medical metal materials,degradable magnesium-based materials have excellent mechanical properties and osteogenic promoting ability,making them promising materials for the treatment of refractory bone diseases.Animal models can be used to understand and evaluate the performance of materials in complex physiological environments,providing relevant data for preclinical evaluation of implants and laying the foundation for subsequent clinical studies.To date,many researchers have studied the biocompatibility,degradability and osteogenesis of magnesium-based materials,but there is a lack of review regarding the effects of magnesium-based materials in vivo.In view of the growing interest in these materials,this review briefly describes the properties of magnesium-based materials and focuses on the safety and efficacy of magnesium-based materials in vivo.Various animal models including rats,rabbits,dogs and pigs are covered to better understand and evaluate the progress and future of magnesium-based materials.This literature analysis reveals that the magnesium-based materials have good biocompatibility and osteogenic activity,thus causing no adverse reaction around the implants in vivo,and that they exhibit a beneficial effect in the process of bone repair.In addition,the degradation rate in vivo can also be improved by means of alloying and coating.These encouraging results show a promising future for the use of magnesium-based materials in musculoskeletal disorders. | Xirui Jing Qiuyue Ding Qinxue Wu Weijie Su Keda Yu Yanlin Su Bing Ye Qing Gao Tingfang Sun Xiaodong Guo | 2021 | Biomaterials Translational2021,2,3: | 1 |
| 8 | Relationship between Renying pulse augmentation index and Cunkou pulse condition in different blood pressure groups显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the relationship between Renying pulse (carotid) augmentation index (AI) and Cunkou pulse condition in different blood pressure groups, and the clinical significance of Renying and Cunkou pulse parameters to reflect vascular function.METHODS:Eighty-sixpatients with essential hypertension (EH) and 52 individuals with normal blood pressure(control group) between September 2010 and January 2012 were included in thisstudy.Renying pulse AI was examined by a new diagnostic tool(ALOKA ProSound Alpha 10) — wave intensity (WI) that is calculated as the product of the derivatives of the simultaneously recorded blood pressure changes(dP/dt) and blood-flow-velocity changes(dU/dt), while Cunkou pulse condition was detected by DDMX-100 Pulse Apparatus inboth EH and control groups. A multifactorial correlation analysis was performed for data analysis.RESULTS: After adjustingfor potentialconfoundingvariables,intheEHgroup,AIwaspositivelycorrelated with t5, w2/t(rt5=0.225, P<0.05; rw2/t=0.230, P<0.05)and negatively correlated with h5,h5/h1 and w2(rh5=﹣0.393,P<0.01;rh5/h1=﹣0.444,P<0.01;rw2=﹣0.389,P<0.01). In the control group, AI was positively correlated with t3, t4, t5 and w1(rt3=0.595, P<0.01; rt4=0.292, P<0.05; rt5=0.318, P<0.05; rw1=0.541, P<0.01)and negatively correlated with h1,h2,h3,AdandA(rh1=﹣0.368,P<0.05;rh2=﹣0.330,P<0.05;rh3=﹣0.327, P<0.05; rAd=﹣0.322, P<0.05; rA=﹣0.410, P<0.01). Cunkou pulse apparatus is a valuable tool for evaluating AI in clinical practice. | 9 | Burch colposuspension for stress urinary incontinence: a 14-year prospective follow-up显示文摘We aimed to evaluate the long-term effectiveness and safety of Burch colposuspension(BC) for stress urinary incontinence(SUI). In this prospective cohort study, 84 patients with SUI undergoing BC were enrolled from February 2004 to January 2010.Data on long-term subjective success and postoperative complications were collected at clinic visits and by telephone follow-up.During a mean follow-up period of 14.2 years, 68%(57/84) patients completed the follow-up. A total of 68.4% of patients(39/57) reported absence of SUI symptoms, 73.6%(42/57) were subjectively satisfied according to the Patient Global Impression of Improvement, and 68.4%(39/57) reported subjective success regarding urinary symptoms via the Urinary Distress Inventory Short Form. However, 28.1%(16/57) suffered at least one long-term postoperative complication and incident. Specifically, 1 in25(4.0%) sexually active patients reported dyspareunia, 3 patients(5.3%) had de novo overactive bladder, and 6 patients(10.5%)reported voiding dysfunction. Four patients(7.0%) reported new onset prolapse symptoms, and 3 patients(5.3%) underwent secondary urinary incontinence surgery. Our study indicated that Burch colposuspension is an effective procedure for SUI, and the cure effect was largely maintained for the 14-year follow-up period, with relatively low complication rates. Pure phase of C12A7 was got at a comparatively lower temperature(c.a. 300 ℃) than that has been previously reported. The crystallite size of the synthesized C12A7 powder was 7±2 nm. The surface area values calculated for all the samples at a synthesis temperature range of 250-800 ℃ for 5 h were in the range of about 19-24 m^2/g, with pore sizes of 12-20 nm. In particular, the availability of chromic materials, which emit fluorescence or phosphorescence in the deep penetrating, near-infrared(NIR)region, has led to great improvements in imaging. Various methods that were commonly applied to construct chromic materials, have been reformed to develop the novel type of compounds, and some have received rewards with excellent fingdings. | 17 | Acute effect of foot strike patterns on in vivo tibiotalar and subtalar joint kinematics during barefoot running显示文摘Background:Foot kinematics,such as excessive eversion and malalignment of the hindfoot,are believed to be associated with running-related injuries.The maj ority of studies to date show that different foot strike patterns influence these specific foot and ankle kinematics.However,technical deficiencies in traditional motion capture approaches limit knowledge of in vivo joint kinematics with respect to rearfoot and forefoot strike patterns(RFS and FFS,respectively).This study uses a high-speed dual fluoroscopic imaging system(DFIS)to determine the effects of different foot strike patterns on 3D in vivo tibiotalar and subtalar joints kinematics.Methods:Fifteen healthy male recreational runners underwent foot computed tomography scanning for the construction of 3-dimensional models.A high-speed DFIS(100 Hz)was used to collect 6 degrees of freedom kinematics for participants’tibiotalar and subtalar joints when they adopted RFS and FFS in barefoot condition.Results:Compared with RFS,FFS exhibited greater internal rotation at 0%-20%of the stance phase in the tibiotalar joint.The peak internal rotation angle of the tibiotalar joint under FFS was greater than under RFS(p<0.001,Cohen’s d=0.92).RFS showed more dorsiflexion at 0%-20%of the stance phase in the tibiotalar joint than FFS.RFS also presented a larger anterior translation(p<0.001,Cohen’s d=1.28)in the subtalar joint at i nitial contact than FFS.Conclusion:Running with acute barefoot FFS increases the internal rotation of the tibiotalar joint in the early stance.The use of high-speed DFIS to quantify the movement of the tibiotalar and subtalar joint was critical to revealing the effects of RF S and FFS during running. | Dongqiang Ye Lu Li Shen Zhang Songlin Xiao Xiaole Sun Shaobai Wang Weijie Fu | 2024 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2024,13,1: | 0 |
| 18 | Effect of the addition of Mg, Ti, Ni on the decoloration performance of AlCrFeMn high entropy alloy显示文摘Due to the excellent mechanical properties of high entropy alloys(HEAs), they have attracted wide attention of materials researchers, but their functional properties have rarely been reported. In order to study the functional properties of HEAs, the decoloration of azo dye Direct Blue 6(DB6) using equiatomic AlCrFeMn and AlCrFeMn M(M=Mg, Ti, Ni) HEAs synthesized by mechanical alloying was reported in this work. The decoloration rate of DB6 by ball-milled(BM) AlCrFeMn was about 3 times faster than that of by BM MgZn-based amorphous alloy, which was the best one reported in the metallic glasses so far. In order to further improve the decoloration efficiency, we considered adding the fifth elements(Mg or Ti or Ni) to AlCrFeMn. Both of Mg and Ti could improve the decoloration performance of AlCrFeMn, but Ni played a negative role. The reaction activity of AlCrFeMnMg and AlCrFeMnTi was more than 2 and 1.2 times faster than that of AlCrFeMn. The effects of initial pH, temperatures and dye concentration on the decoloration efficiency of AlCrFeMnMg during reactions were systematically investigated. The reaction activity of AlCrFeMnMg in alkaline and acidic azo dye solution was about 37.5 and 16.6 times faster than that of neutral solution, respectively. | 19 | A deep learning-based method for pediatric congenital heart disease detection with seven standard views in echocardiography显示文摘Background With the aggregation of clinical data and the evolution of computational resources,artificial intelligence-based methods have become possible to facilitate clinical diagnosis.For congenital heart disease(CHD)detection,recent deep learning-based methods tend to achieve classification with few views or even a single view.Due to the complexity of CHD,the input images for the deep learning model should cover as many anatomical structures of the heart as possible to enhance the accuracy and robustness of the algorithm.In this paper,we first propose a deep learning method based on seven views for CHD classification and then validate it with clinical data,the results of which show the competitiveness of our approach.Methods A total of 1411 children admitted to the Children’s Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine were selected,and their echocardiographic videos were obtained.Then,seven standard views were selected from each video,which were used as the input to the deep learning model to obtain the final result after training,validation and testing.Results In the test set,when a reasonable type of image was input,the area under the curve(AUC)value could reach 0.91,and the accuracy could reach 92.3%.During the experiment,shear transformation was used as interference to test the infection resistance of our method.As long as appropriate data were input,the above experimental results would not fluctuate obviously even if artificial interference was applied.Conclusions These results indicate that the deep learning model based on the seven standard echocardiographic views can effectively detect CHD in children,and this approach has considerable value in practical application. | Xusheng Jiang Jin Yu Jingjing Ye Weijie Jia Weize Xu Qiang Shu | 2023 | World Journal of Pediatric Surgery2023,6,3: | 0 |
