1Xuebijing injection alleviates liver injury by inhibiting secretory function of Kupffer cells in heat stroke rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effects of Xuebijing(XBJ) injection in heat stroke(HS) rats and to investigate the mechanisms underlying these effects.METHODS:Sixty anesthetized rats were randomized into three groups and intravenously injected twice daily for 3 days with 4 mL XBJ(XBJ group) or phosphate buffered saline(HS and Sham groups) per kg body weight.HS was initiated in the HS and XBJ groups by placing rats in a simulated climate chamber(ambient temperature 40 ℃,humidity 60%).Rectal temperature,aterial pressure,and heart rate were monitored and recorded.Time to HS onset and survival were determined,and serum concentrations of tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,inRESULTS:Time to HS onset and survival were significantly longer in the XBJ than in the HS group.Moreover,the concentrations of TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,ALT and AST were lower and liver injury was milder in the XBJ than in the HS group.Heat-stress induced structural changes in KCs and hepatic cells were more severe in the HS than in the XBJ group and the concentrations of TNF-α,IL-β and IL-6 secreted by KCs were lower in the XBJ than in the HS group.CONCLUSION:XBJ can alleviate HS-induced systemic inflammatory response syndrome and liver injury in rats,and improve outcomes.These protective effects may be due to the ability of XBJ to inhibit cytokine secretion by KCs.Yi Chen Huasheng Tong Xingqin Zhang Liqun Tang Zhiguo Pan Zhifeng Liu Pengkai Duan Lei Su 2013Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,2:14
2Impact of anthropogenic activities on the sediment microbial communities of Baiyangdian shallow lake显示文摘Microorganisms are recognized as sensors of external disturbance in freshwater ecosystems.In this study,sediment samples from regions with strong human activity interference(four sites),moderate human activity interference(five sites)and minor human activity interference(five sites)in Baiyangdian Lake were collected;and their physiological and chemical properties and heavy metals contents were analyzed.The structures of bacterial and fungal communities were tested using 16S ribosomal Ribonucleic Acid(rRNA)and Internal Transcribed Spacer 2(ITS2)high-throughput sequencing technologies.The results indicated that Proteobacteria was the most abundant bacterial phylum.Ascomycota,Basidiomycota and Ciliophora were the dominant phyla of fungi.Obvious differences of microbial genera among the three regions were observed,especially fungal genera.With intensified disturbance by human activities,the Simpson and Shannon indices of bacteria significantly decreased.The fungal communities were clustered into three groups in accordance with the different human disturbance levels.The bacterial communities of sediment samples under moderate and minor human disturbance appeared similar,but different from those under strong human disturbance.Redundancy analysis indicated that zinc,total phosphorus,copper,and lead were the dominant factors that influenced the bacterial community.Nitrifiers and sulfate-reducing bacteria were influenced by pH,nitrate(NO3 ),and total nitrogen.The fungal community was significantly affected by total phosphorus.This study reveals that sediment microbial community structures among different regions of a shallow lake are mainly impacted by human activities.Wenjun Wang Yujun Yi Yufeng Yang Yang Zhou Shanghong Zhang Xuan Wang Zhifeng Yang 2020International Journal of Sediment Research2020,35,2:14
3Research on New Silica Sol Matrix Used in Fluid Catalytic Cracking Reaction显示文摘A new silica sol binder was obtained by mixing the acid-modified aluminium sulfate and water glass. The effect of SiO2 concentration in sodium silicate, pH value and polymerization was investigated. The new silica sol binder, which possessed abundant pore volume and suitable acid amount, was an ideal component for preparing cracking catalyst. As a result, the corresponding catalyst comprising the new binder showed excellent performance. Compared with the reference sample, the liquefied petroleum gas(LPG) and propylene yield obtained over this catalyst increased by 3.49 and 1.20 percentage points, respectively. 4Dual-targeting prodrug nanotheranostics for NIR-Ⅱfluorescence imaging-guided photo-immunotherapy of glioblastoma显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM) therapy is severely impaired by the blood-brain barrier(BBB) and invasive tumor growth in the central nervous system.To improve GBM therapy,we herein presented a dual-targeting nanotheranostic for second near-infrared(NIR-Ⅱ) fluorescence imaging-guided photoimmunotherapy.Firstly,a NIR-Ⅱ fluorophore MRP bearing donor-acceptor-donor(D-A-D) backbone was synthesized.Then,the prodrug nanotheranostics were prepared by self-assembling MRP with a prodrug of JQ1(JPC) and T7 ligand-modified PEG5k-DSPE.T7 can cross the BBB for tumor-targeted delivery of JPC and MRP.JQ1 could be restored from JPC at the tumor site for suppressing interferon gamma-inducible programmed death ligand 1 expression in the tumor cells.MRP could generate NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence to navigate 808 nm laser,induce a photothermal effect to trigger in-situ antigen release at the tumor site,and ultimately elicit antitumor immunogenicity.Photo-immunotherapy with JPC and MRP dual-loaded nanoparticles remarkably inhibited GBM tumor growth in vivo.The dual-targeting nanotheranostic might represent a novel nanoplatform for precise photo-immunotherapy of GBM.Fenglin Li Yi Lai Jiayi Ye Madiha Saeed Yijing Dang Zhifeng Zou Fangmin Chen Wen Zhang Zhiai Xu 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,9:2

6Probabilistic ecological risk assessment of cadmium in the Bohai Sea using native saltwater species显示文摘Predicted no-effect concentration(PNEC) is often used in ecological risk assessment to determine low-risk concentrations for chemicals. In the present study, the chronic data from native saltwater species were used to calculated PNEC values using four methods: log-normal distribution(ETX 2.0), log-triangle distribution(US EPA's water quality criteria procedure), burr III distribution(Burrli OZ) and traditional assessment factor(AF). The PNECs that were calculated using four methods ranged from 0.08 μg/L to 1.8 μg/L. Three of the SSD-derived PNECs range from 0.94 to 1.8 μg/L, about a factor of two apart. To demonstrate the use of SSD-based PNEC values and comprehensively estimate the regional ecological risk for cadmium in surface water of the Bohai Sea, in the Liaodong Bay, Bohai Bay, and Laizhou Bay, China, the dissolved cadmium concentrations were measured and obtained 753 valid data covering 190 stations from July 2006 to November 2007. Based on three ecological risk assessment approaches, namely hazard quotient(HQ), probabilistic risk quotient and joint probability curve(JPC), the potential ecological risk of cadmium in surface water of the Liaodong Bay, Bohai Bay, and Laizahou Bay were estimated. Overall, the ecological risk of cadmium to aquatic ecosystem in the whole Bohai Sea was at acceptable ecological risk level, the order of ecological risk was Liaodong Bay>Bohai Bay>Laizhou Bay. 7VIRTUAL DESIGN OF A NEW TYPE OF HYDRAULIC SUPPORT显示文摘Using virtual reality to design a new type of hydraulic support is discussed. That is how to make use of the virtual design to develop coal mining machine in practice. The advantages of virtual design are studied and the simple virtual reality system is built. The 3D parts and elements of hydraulic support are modeled with parametric design in CAD software, then exported to VR environment, in which the virtual hydraulic support is assembled, operated and tested. 10Preparation and Characterization of Natural Rubber/Silica Nanocomposites using Rule of Similarity in Latex显示文摘Rule of similarity and latex compounding techniques were combined for the first time to prepare natural rubber/nanosilica(NR/SiO2) nanocomposite with core-shell nanosilica-poly(methyl methacrylate)(SiO2-PMMA) particles and PMMA-modified natural rubber matrix(NR-PMMA).The microstructure of SiO2 and nanocomposites with different SiO2 contents was characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR);the morphology of nanocomposites was investigated with scanning electron microscopy(SEM);the tensile strength was characterized by tensile testing machine and the thermal stability of composites was studied by thermal gravimetric analysis.Results showed that PMMA chains have successfully grafted onto the surface of SiO2,and the core-shell SiO2-PMMA nanoparticles and NR-PMMA latex have been perfectly incorporated.SiO2-PMMA nanoparticles are evenly distributed over the NR matrix with an average size in the range of 60-100 nm at the low content(SiO2 ≤ 3 wt%),while aggregations are apparently observed when 5 wt% SiO2 is loaded.In addition,NR/SiO2 composities possess a considerable improvement in ageing resistance compared with the pure NR.The tensile strength of composite increases from 6.99 to 12.72 MPa,reaching the highest value at a 0.5 wt% SiO2 loading,and then the figure decreases gradually because of the aggregation of SiO2 nanoparticles.It is anticipated that the reported process is to provide a simple and economic way for preparing NR composites.罗勇悦 FENG Chunfang WANG Qinghuang YI Zhifeng QIU Quanfang Kong LX 彭政 2013Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2013,28,5:1
