| 1 | Redistribution of Li-ions using covalent organic frameworks towards dendrite-free lithium anodes:a mechanism based on a Galton Board显示文摘Because of its high theoretical specific capacity and low reduction potential,Li metal is considered to be key to reaching high energy density in rechargeable batteries. In this context, most of the research has focused on suppressing dendrite formation during Li deposition to improve the cycling reversibility and safety of the batteries. Here, covalent organic framework(COF)film coating on a commercial polypropylene separator is applied as an ion redistributor to eliminate Li dendrites. The COF crystallites consist of ordered nanochannels that hinder the movement of anions while allowing Li-ions to transport across, leading to a high Li-ion transference number of 0.77±0.01.The transport of Li-ions across the COF film can be considered to be analogous to beads passing through a Galton Board,a model that demonstrates a statistical concept of a normal distribution. Thus,an even distribution of Li-ions is obtained at the COF/Li metal interface. The controlled Li-ion flux yields a smooth Li metal surface after 1,000 h(500 times)of cycling, leading to a significantly improved cycling stability and reversibility,as demonstrated by Cu||Li half cells,Li||Li symmetric cells, and Li Fe PO4||Li full cells. These results suggest that, following the principle of a Galton Board, nanopore insulators such as COF-based materials are effective ion distributors for the different energy storage or conversion systems. | Huanyu Xie Qing Hao Hongchang Jin Shuai Xie Zhaowei Sun Yadong Ye Chaohui Zhang Dong Wang Hengxing Ji Li-Jun Wan | 2020 | Science China Chemistry2020,63,9: | 3 |

| 3 | Regulating the Electrical and Mechanical Properties of TaS_(2) Films via van der Waals and Electrostatic Interaction for High Performance Electromagnetic Interference Shielding显示文摘Low-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs) have unique electronic structure, vibration modes, and physicochemical properties, making them suitable for fundamental studies and cutting-edge applications such as silicon electronics, optoelectronics, and bioelectronics. However, the brittleness, low toughness, and poor mechanical and electrical stabilities of TMD-based films limit their application. Herein, a TaS_(2) freestanding film with ultralow void ratio of 6.01% is restacked under the effect of bond-free van der Waals(vdW) interactions within the staggered 2H-TaS_(2) nanosheets. The restacked films demonstrated an exceptionally high electrical conductivity of 2,666 S cm^(-1), electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(EMI SE) of 41.8 dB, and absolute EMI SE(SSE/t) of 27,859 dB cm^(2) g^(-1), which is the highest value reported for TMD-based materials. The bond-free vdW interactions between the adjacent 2H-TaS_(2) nanosheets provide a natural interfacial strain relaxation, achieving excellent flexibility without rupture after 1,000 bends. In addition, the TaS_(2) nanosheets are further combined with the polymer fibers of bacterial cellulose and aramid nanofibers via electrostatic interactions to significantly enhance the tensile strength and flexibility of the films while maintaining their high electrical conductivity and EMI SE.This work provides promising alternatives for conventional materials used in EMI shielding and nanodevices. | Fukang Deng Jianhong Wei Yadong Xu Zhiqiang Lin Xi Lu Yan-Jun Wan Rong Sun Ching-Ping Wong Yougen Hu | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,7: | 0 |
| 4 | Penetrating power characteristics of half-wavelength AC transmission in point-to-grid system显示文摘With the proposed concept of global energy interconnection, half-wavelength alternating current transmission(HWACT) technology becomes of more interest.HWACT lines can be adopted to establish a pointto-grid system, in which the penetrating power(PP) is produced between receiving terminals, having a significant effect on the power flow distribution. In order to investigate this phenomenon, the PP characteristics of the HWACT system are researched in this paper.First, the mathematical relationship between the transmission power and terminal bus voltages of a single HWACT line is derived using the equations of a distributed parameter model. The research indicates that the relationship between power and terminal voltages shows ‘‘reverse characteristics'opposite to those of regular short transmission lines. Then, the concept and definition of PP in a point-to-grid system with two receiving terminals are proposed, and the corresponding relationship between PP and the terminal bus voltages is derived.Simulations are carried out to validate the theory under different conditions, so that the accuracy and adaptiveness of the theoretical analysis can be proved. In addition, the results demonstrate that selecting the location for a HWACT system has demanding requirements in order to control the value of PP. | Hanqing LIANG Yadong LIU Lei WAN Gehao SHENG Xiuchen JIANG | 2019 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2019,7,1: | 0 |
