1Homologous and heterologous interactions between catalytic and regulatory subunits of Escherichia coli acetohydroxyacid synthaseⅠand Ⅲ显示文摘Homologous and heterologous interactions between acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS) I and Ⅲ from E. coli have been studied by surface plasmon resonance (SPR). The catalytic and regulatory subunits association for AHAS I (KD = 1.13 × 10-7 M) was stronger than that for AHAS Ⅲ (KD = 5.29 × 10-7 M). A strong heterologous association between regulatory and catalytic subunits and heterologous activation of catalytic subunits were observed. SPR results combined with enzyme kinetics indicate that the reconstituted heterologous enzymes had similar kinetic properties as homologous enzymes, implying that the regulatory subunit of AHAS I could be replaced by the regulatory subunit of AHAS Ⅲ and vice versa. 2Nutrient value of wild fodder species and the implications for improving the diet of mithun (Bos frontalis) in Dulongjiang area, Yunnan Province, China显示文摘Wild fodder plants are valuable because they provide an important livestock feed resource globally,especially for smallholder farmers,and have important roles in natural resource management.In-depth knowledge of wild forage plants can motivate local people for feed resource and habitat conservation of threatened herbivores such as Mithun(Bos frontalis).Mithun occur in small patches in the mountains of Dulongjiang,nearby villagers domesticated this animal but left animal to freely graze in the mountains.Many fodder plants occur in these mountains,however,little is known about their nutritional value.We conducted an ethnobotanical survey to document important wild fodder plants consumed by mithun in the Dulongjiang Township.The nutritional content of 21 highly mentioned wild fodder plants in an ethnobotanical survey was examined.Laboratory analysis showed that Fagopyrum dibotrys were the fodder species with the highest crude protein(CP)content(26.89%),followed by Polygonum molle(21.88%)and Hydrangea longipes(21.12%).Synthesis of relative feed value index and grey relational grade,P.molle,H.longipes and Tetrastigma obtectum were ranked the top three nutritional fodders.There was a significant difference between 21 species on their in vitro digestibility and the most highly digestible fodder species was Elatostema hookerianum.Linear model analysis on relationship between frequency of citation of 21 wild forage plants by local farmers and their nutrient composition showed that the frequency was significantly positively correlated with the nutritional value of the feed(R2?0.28,P<0.05).We concluded that these species have high nutritional values to improve mithun production in integrated crop-livestock systems.Fodder species or mixtures of species with useful nutritional characters could be cultivated to improve livestock productivity,habitat conservation including that of mithun and wild forage resource management.Yanfei Geng Sailesh Ranjitkar Qiaoshun Yan Zhijun He Baqi Su Shengtao Gao Junli Niu Dengpan Bu Jianchu Xu 2020Plant Diversity2020,42,6:2
3Joint Source-Channel Coding for 6G Communications显示文摘In order to provide ultra low-latency and high energy-efficient communication for intelligences,the sixth generation(6G)wireless communication networks need to break out of the dilemma of the depleting gain of the separated optimization paradigm.In this context,this paper provides a comprehensive tutorial that overview how joint source-channel coding(JSCC)can be employed for improving overall system performance.For the purpose,we first introduce the communication requirements and performance metrics for 6G.Then,we provide an overview of the source-channel separation theorem and why it may not hold in practical applications.In addition,we focus on two new JSCC schemes called the double low-density parity-check(LDPC)codes and the double polar codes,respectively,giving their detailed coding and decoding processes and corresponding performance simulations.In a nutshell,this paper constitutes a tutorial on the JSCC scheme tailored to the needs of future 6G communications.Yanfei Dong Jincheng Dai Kai Niu Sen Wang Yifei Yuan 2022China Communications2022,19,3:2

6A Novel Method for the Quantitative Detection of Sericin Content in Silk Fiber Based on the Ratio of Aspartate to Alanine显示文摘The development of a method for the quantitative determination of the sericin content ratio(SCR)is urgently needed for silk refining and the purification of silk fibroin for biomedical applications.In this work,a series of sericin/fibroin mixed samples with known SCRs were prepared by mixing initial samples of extracted sericin and fibroin from Bombyx mori silk.Significant differences were found in the contents of characteristic hydrophilic amino acids abundant in sericin and hydrophobic amino acids abundant in fibroin,and several linear relation-ships of SCR associated with the content ratios of Ser/Ala,Asp/Ala,Lys/Ala,Asp/Gly and Ser/Gly were estab-lished by amino acid analysis.Subsequently,the linear equation expressing SCR(%)as a function of the Asp to Ala content ratio X(%)was established as SCR=2.5634X−12.5587(R 2=0.9972).The results indicated that the SCR of degummed silks calculated by the equation is more objective and effective than the results obtained by the traditional weight loss method.Our study provides a novel approach for the sensitive and quantitative detection of the sericin content within the detection limit in unknown silks,which can contribute to quality control in the silk production process.Yanfei Feng Jiaming Lin Longxing Niu Peng Pan Xueping Liu Linling Huang Ying Guo Mingzhong Li 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,1:0
7CF_4 decomposition over solid ternary mixture NaF-Si-MO(MO=La_2O_3,CeO_2,Pr_6O-(11),Nd_2O_3,Y_2O_3)显示文摘A solid ternary mixture consisting of NaF,silicon and one metal oxide such as La2O3,CeO2,Pr6O11,Nd2O3,and Y2O3 was prepared and usedas de-fluorinated reagent for CF4 decomposition.The results show that 90% conversion of CF4 can be reached initially over NaF-Si-La2O3,NaF-Si-CeO2,NaF-Si-Nd2O3,and NaF-Si-Y2O3 at 850 C.The fresh and used reagents were characterized using XRD and XPS techniques.It was found that the active components of NaF and metal oxides in NaF-Si-CeO2,NaF-Si-Pr6O11,NaF-Si-Nd2O3,and NaF-Si-Y2O3 weretransformed into inert phases of mixed metal fluorides and silicates,respectively,resulting in an ineffective utilization of these de-fluorinatedreagents,whereas no inert phases from NaF and La2O3 can be observed in the used NaF-Si-La2O3,indicating the NaF-Si-La2O3 reagent couldbe utilized more efficiently than the other reagents in CF4 decomposition.Yanfei Pan Xianjun Niu Yanan Wang Xiufeng Xu 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,2:0
8Epitaxial growth ofβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films on Ga_(2)O_(3)and Al_(2)O_(3)substrates by using pulsed laser deposition显示文摘In this work,we have successfully grown high quality epitaxialβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films onβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)(100)and Al_(2)O_(3)(0001)substrates using pulsed laser deposition(PLD).By optimizing temperature and oxygen pressure,the best conditions were found to be 650-700℃and 0.5 Pa.To further improve the quality of hetero-epitaxialβ-Ga_(2)O_(3),the sapphire substrates were pretreated for atomic terraced surface by chemical cleaning and high temperature annealing.From the optical transmittance measurements,the films grown at 600-750℃exhibit a clear absorption edge at deep ultraviolet region around 250-275 nm wavelength.High resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM)images and X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns demonstrate thatβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)(-201)//Al_(2)O_(3)(0001)epitaxial texture dominated the epitaxial oxide films on sapphire substrate,which opens up the possibilities of high power electric devices.Yuxin An Liyan Dai Ying Wu Biao Wu Yanfei Zhao Tong Liu Hui Hao Zhengcheng Li Gang Niu Jinping Zhang Zhiyong Quan Sunan Dingy 2019Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2019,9,4:0
