1Seafloor geodetic network establishment and key technologies显示文摘Seafloor geodetic network construction involves the development of geodetic station shelter, network configuration design, location selection and layout, surveying strategy, observation model establishment and optimization, data processing strategy and so on. This paper tries to present main technological problems involved in the seafloor geodetic network construction, and seek the technically feasible solutions. Basic conceptions of developing seafloor geodetic station shelters for shallow sea and deep-sea are described respectively. The overall criteria of seafloor geodetic network construction for submarine navigation and those of network design for crustal motion monitoring are both proposed. In order to enhance application performances of the seafloor geodetic network, the seafloor network configuration should prefer a symmetrical network structure. The sea surface tracking line measurements for determining the seafloor geodetic station position should also adopt an approximately symmetrical configuration, and we recommend circle tracking line observations combined with cross-shaped line(or double cross-shape line) observations for the seafloor positioning mode. As to the offset correction between the Global Navigation Satellite System antenna phase center and the acoustic transducer, it is recommended to combine the calibration through external measurements and model parameter estimation. Besides, it is suggested to correct the sound speed error with a combination of observation value correction and parameterized model correction, and to mainly use the model correction to reduce the influence of acoustic ray error on the seafloor positioning. Following the proposed basic designs, experiments are performed in shallow sea area and deep-sea area respectively. 3Parthenolide increases the sensitivity of gastric cancer cells to chemotherapy显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of parthenolide(PTL),a sesquiterpene lactone medicinal compound,on the sensitivity of the gastric cancer cell line SGC7901 and the DPP-and ADR-resistant sublines SGC7901/DDP and SGC7901/ADR to cisplatin[diamminedichloroplatinum(Ⅱ),DDP]and adriamycin(ADR)in vitro.METHODS:SGC7901,SGC7901/DDP,and SGC7901/ADR were treated with various concentrations of PTL alone or in combination with DDP or ADR.The effects on cell proliferation,apoptosis,and expression/activity of several proliferation/apoptosis-related proteins[B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),cyclin D1,nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB),and Caspase-8]and drug transporters(P-glycoprotein and multidrug resistance protein-1)were measured using flow cytometry,Western blotting,and in vitro activity assays.RESULTS:Treatment of SGC7901 cells with PTL inhibited cell growth,increased apoptosis,and sensitized the cells to DPP.Mechanistically,PTL treatment resulted in downregulation of NF-κB activity and Bcl-2 expression,and upregulation of Caspase-8 activity.Similarly,PTL co-treatment of SGC7901/DDP and SGC7901/ADR overcame their resistance to DDP and ADR,respectively,with concomitant inhibition of NF-κB,Bcl-2,Cyclin D1,P-glycoprotein,and multidrug resistance protein-1 expression and/or activity.CONCLUSION:PTL treatment decreases drug resistance in SGC7901,SGC7901/DDP,and SGC7901/ADR cells,as reflected by induction of apoptosis,inhibition of proliferation,downregulation of pro-survival and drug resistance pathways,and upregulation of pro-apoptotic pathways.Our results suggest that co-treatment with PTL may thus complement existing therapies for gastric cancer.Liu Minghua Yang Ying Liu Dajun Cao Ye Li Yan 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6:5
4Apogossypolone targets mitochondria and light enhances its anticancer activity by stimulating generation of singlet oxygen and reactive oxygen species显示文摘Apogossypolone (ApoG2), a novel derivative of gossypol, has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of antiapoptotic Bcl-2 family proteins and to have antitumor activity in multiple types of cancer cells. Recent reports suggest that gossypol stimulates the generation of cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) in leukemia and colorectal carcinoma cells; however, gossypol-mediated cell death in leukemia cells was reported to be ROS-independent. This study was conducted to clarify the effect of ApoG2-induced ROS on mitochondria and cell viability, and to further evaluate its utility as a treatment for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). We tested the photocytotoxicity of ApoG2 to the poorly differentiated NPC cell line CNE-2 using the ROS-generating TL/10 illumination system. The rapid ApoG2-induced cell death was partially reversed by the antioxidant N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC), but the ApoG2-induced reduction of mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) was not reversed by NAC. In the presence of TL/10 illumination, ApoG2 generated massive amounts of singlet oxygen and was more effective in inhibiting cell growth than in the absence of illumination. We also determined the influence of light on the anti-proliferative activity of ApoG2 using a CNE-2-xenograft mouse model. ApoG2 under TL/10 illumination healed tumor wounds and suppressed tumor growth more effectively than ApoG2 treatment alone. These results indicate that the ApoG2-induced CNE-2 cell death is partly ROS-dependent. 5Constructing public health evidence knowledge graph for decision-making support from COVID-19 literature of modelling study显示文摘The needs of mitigating COVID-19 epidemic prompt policymakers to make public health-related decision under the guidelines of science.Tremendous unstructured COVID-19 publications make it challenging for policymakers to obtain relevant evidence.Knowledge graphs(KGs)can formalize unstructured knowledge into structured form and have been used in supporting decision-making recently.Here,we introduce a novel framework that can ex-tract the COVID-19 public health evidence knowledge graph(CPHE-KG)from papers relating to a modelling study.We screen out a corpus of 3096 COVID-19 modelling study papers by performing a literature assessment process.We define a novel annotation schema to construct the COVID-19 modelling study-related IE dataset(CPHIE).We also propose a novel multi-tasks document-level information extraction model SS-DYGIE++based on the dataset.Leveraging the model on the new corpus,we construct CPHE-KG containing 60,967 entities and 51,140 rela-tions.Finally,we seek to apply our KG to support evidence querying and evidence mapping visualization.Our SS-DYGIE++(SpanBERT)model has achieved a F1 score of 0.77 and 0.55 respectively in document-level entity recognition and coreference resolution tasks.It has also shown high performance in the relation identification task.With evidence querying,our KG can present the dynamic transmissions of COVID-19 pandemic in different countries and regions.The evidence mapping of our KG can show the impacts of variable non-pharmacological interventions to COVID-19 pandemic.Analysis demonstrates the quality of our KG and shows that it has the potential to support COVID-19 policy making in public health.Yunrong Yang Zhidong Cao Pengfei Zhao Dajun Daniel Zeng Qingpeng Zhang Yin Luo 2021Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,3:2

14子宫内膜间质肉瘤保留生育功能治疗体会(英文)显示文摘The paper introduced the experience of a case of recurrence of endometrial stromal sarcoma with fertility conservation treatment after full-term delivery. A 24-year-old unmarried patient who, with her increasing amount of menstruation in the late six months, had a mass in her lower-abdominal which was confirmed by B-ultrasonic diagnosis as myometrium mixed mass, was given an enucleation of uterus tumor. The pathological examination of tumor sample revealed it as lowgrade endometrial stromal sarcoma (LESS). And the patient underwent 6 cycles of chemotherapy over 8 months before she got pregnant and had a full-term delivery. But in 34 months after delivery, the disease recurred with metastatic of pelvic and peritoneal cavity and the patient had to receive comprehensive therapy. Conclusion: The unmarried young patient with stage I low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma has the chance to preserve uterus for her pregnancy and delivery. 16Highly active cobalt-doped nickel sulfide porous nanocones for high-performance quasi-solid-state zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Flexible quasi-solid zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)have large potential in power applications due to the low price,wearable nature,safety,and high capacity.However,the use of transition metal sulfide cathodes in ZIBs has not been studied extensively and the underlying mechanism and theoretical basis of this type of batteries are not well understood.Herein,a highly active cobalt-doped Ni_(3)S_(2) porous nanocone framework(C12NS)is designed and demonstrated as a zinc-ion battery electrode.First-principles calculation and experiments reveal that the cobalt dopant improves the battery properties greatly.The assembled flexible zinc-ion battery exhibits a high specific capacity of 453.3 mAh g^(−1)at a current density of 0.4 A g^(−1)in as well as excellent cycling stability as manifested by a capacity retention ratio of 89.5%at a current density of 4 A g^(−1)after 5000 cycles.The peak energy density of 553.9 Wh kg^(−1)is also superior to those of most recently reported NiCo-based zinc-ion batteries.More importantly,the flexible battery can be operated under severe mechanical bending and even continues to work after physical puncturing without showing leakage.These exciting results not only reveal a novel design of cathode materials for zinc-based batteries,but also suggest their immense commercial potential in portable and wearable electronics.Xin Tong Yun Li Ning Pang Yang Zhou Dajun Wu Dayuan Xiong Shaohui Xu Lianwei Wang Paul K.Chu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:1

19Preclinical study of a self-expanding pulmonary valve for the treatment of pulmonary valve disease显示文摘In the past decade,balloon-expandable percutaneous pulmonary valves have been developed and applied in clinical practice.However,all the existing products of pulmonary artery interventional valves in the market have a straight structure design,and they require a preset support frame and balloon expansion.This shape design of the valve limits the application range.In addition,the age of the population with pulmonary artery disease is generally low,and the existing products cannot meet the needs of anti-calcification properties and valve material durability.In this study,through optimization of the support frame and leaflet design,a self-expanding pulmonary valve product with a double bell-shaped frame was designed to improve the match of the valve and the implantation site.A loading and deployment study showed that the biomaterial of the valve was not damaged after being compressed.Pulsatile flow and fatigue in vitro tests showed that the fabricated pulmonary valve met the hydrodynamic requirements after 2108 accelerated fatigue cycles.The safety and efficacy of the pulmonary valve product were demonstrated in studies of pulmonary valve implantation in 11 pigs.Angiography and echocardiography showed that the pulmonary valves were implanted in a good position,and they had normal closure and acceptable valvular regurgitation.The 180 days’implantation results showed that the calcium content was 0.31-1.39 mg/g in the anti-calcification treatment group,which was significantly lower than that in the control valve without anti-calcification treatment(16.69 mg/g).Our new interventional pulmonary valve product was ready for clinical trials and product registration.Dajun Kuang Yang Lei Li Yang Yunbing Wang 2020Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,6:0
20Functional non-glutaraldehyde treated porcine pericardium for anti-coagulation,anti-calcification,and endothelial proliferation bioprosthetic heart valves显示文摘In the last decade,the number of transcatheter heart valve replacement for severe heart valve disease has increased exponentially.Although the bioprosthetic artificial heart valve(BHV)has similar fluid dynamics performance to the original heart valve compared with mechanical heart valve so that there is no need to take long-term anticoagulant drugs to prevent thromboembolism,transcatheter BHV replacement are still at risk for thrombosis during the first few months according to the clinical data.However,the use of antithrombotic drugs can also increase the risk of bleeding.Therefore,it is particularly important to improve the anticoagulant properties for the BHV itself.In this work,a kind of non-glutaraldehyde cross-linked BHV material with excellent antithrombotic ability has been prepared from carboxylated oxazolidine treated porcine pericardium(consisting of collagen,elastin and glycoprotein)with the further graft of the anticoagulant heparin sodium via hydrophilic modified chitosan.Along with the similar mechanical properties and collagen stability comparable to the glutaraldehyde cross-linked porcine pericardium(PP),these functional non-glutaraldehyde cross-linked PPs exhibit better biocompatibility,promoted endothelial proliferation and superior anti-calcification ability.More importantly,excellent anticoagulant activity can be observed in the hematological experiments in vivo and in vitro.In summary,these excellent performances make these functional non-glutaraldehyde cross-linked PPs great potentialities in the BHV applications.Xiaotong Chen Tao Yu Qunshou Kong Dajun Kuang Hong Xu Zhiyu Zhao Li Yang Gaocan Li Haojun Fan Yunbing Wang 2022Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2022,4,1:0
