| 1 | A new strain of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus isolated from Xinjiang, China显示文摘Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus(CCHFV) is a highly pathogenic tick-borne virus with a fatality rate of up to 50% in humans. CCHFV is widely distributed in countries around the world.Outbreaks of CCHFV infection in humans have occurred in prior years in Xinjiang Province, China.Epidemiological surveys have detected CCHFV RNA in ticks and animals; however, few isolates were identified. In this study, we identified and isolated a new CCHFV strain from Hyalomma asiaticum asiaticum ticks collected from north of Tarim Basin in Xinjiang, China. A preliminary investigation of infection and antigens expression of CCHFV was performed in newborn mice. The target tissues for CCHFV replication in newborn mice were identified. The analysis of the phylogenetic relationships with other Chinese strains suggested that diverse genotypes of CCHFV have circulated in Xinjiang for years. | 3 | Response of ^(210)Pb_(ex) inventory to changes in soil erosion rates on uncultivated land显示文摘This analysis studies changes in the variation 210Pbex inventory in soil in response to soil erosion on uncultivated land.A model was created to fit the response of 210 Pb ex inventory to variations in soil erosion rates on uncultivated land using the principle of mass balance.By numerical simulation of the variation in the soil erosion rate in soil of uncultivated land,we prove:(1) past use of what has long been considered the best method of determining 210 Pb ex levels over the past 100 to 200 years is not scientifically accurate;(2) the model shows that variation in 210 Pb ex inventory as a function of time varies according to the index law after variation of soil erosion rates in uncultivated land is considered;and(3) the time needed for the variation in 210 Pb ex inventory to reach a steady-state is affected by changes in the rate of soil erosion and the quality and depth of relaxation in soil of uncultivated land.The results of this research can guide efforts to measure soil erosion rates. | SUN Wei YANG Hao ZHAO QiGuo ZHANG MingLi XU LiangJiang | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,15: | 1 |

| 10 | SD-RLK28 positively regulates pollen hydration on stigmas as a PCP-Bβ receptor in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Pollen hydration on dry stigmas is strictly regulated by pollen–stigma interactions in Brassicaceae. Although several related molecular events have been described, the molecular mechanism underlying pollen hydration remains elusive. Multiple B-class pollen coat proteins(PCP-Bs) are involved in pollen hydration. Here, by analyzing the interactions of two PCP-Bs with three Arabidopsis thaliana stigmas strongly expressing S-domain receptor kinase(SD-RLK), we determined that SD-RLK28 directly interacts with PCP-Bβ. We investigated pollen hydration, pollen germination, pollen tube growth, and stigma receptivity in the sd-rlk28 and pcp-bβ mutants. PCP-Bβ acts in the pollen to regulate pollen hydration on stigmas. Loss of SD-RLK28 had no effect on pollen viability, and sd-rlk28 plants had normal life cycles without obvious defects. However,pollen hydration on sd-rlk28 stigmas was impaired and pollen tube growth in sd-rlk28 pistils was delayed. The defect in pollen hydration on sd-rlk28 stigmas was independent of changes in reactive oxygen species levels in stigmas. | 11 | New type steam turbine for cogeneration显示文摘A concept of energy saving & efficiency improving from cold source for cogeneration steam turbine was discussed herein. A new type 'NCB' cogeneration steam turbine was proposed,which could considerably increase heat supply capacity,thermal efficiency and electric power.
