1Microdisk lasers on an erbium-doped lithium-niobite chip显示文摘Lithium niobate on insulator(LNOI) provides a platform for the fundamental physics investigations and practical applications of integrated photonics. However, as an indispensable building block of integrated photonics, lasers are in short supply. In this paper, erbium-doped LNOI laser in the 1550-nm band was demonstrated in microdisk cavities with high quality factors fabricated in batches by UV exposure, inductively coupled plasma reactive ion etching, and chemomechanical polishing. The threshold and conversion efficiency of the erbium-doped LNOI microdisk laser were measured to be lower than 1 m W and 6.5×10^(-5)%, respectively. This work will benefit the development of integrated photonics based on LNOI.Qiang Luo ZhenZhong Hao Chen Yang Ru Zhang DaHuai Zheng ShiGuo Liu HongDe Liu Fang Bo YongFa Kong GuoQuan Zhang JingJun Xu 2021Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,3:4
2Relation of Submarine Landslide to HydrateOccurrences in Baiyun Depression,South China Sea显示文摘Submarine landslides have been observed in the Baiyun Depression of the South China Sea. The occurrence of hydrates below these landslides indicates that these slope instabilities may be closely related to the massive release of methane. In this study, we used a simple Monte-Carlo model to determine the first-order deformation pattern of a gravitationally destabilizing slope. The results show that a stress concentration occurs due to hydrate dissociation on the nearby glide surface and on top of a gas chimney structure. Upon the dissolution of the gas hydrate, slope failure occurs due to the excess pore pressure generated by the dissociation of the gas hydrates. When gas hydrates dissociate at shallow depths, the excess pore pressure generated can be greater than the total stress acting at those points, along with the forces that resist sliding. Initially, the failure occurs at the toe of the slope, then extends to the interior. Although our investigation focused only on the contribution of hydrate decomposition to submarine landslide, this process is also affected by both the slope material properties and topography.SUN Yunbao ZHANG Xiaohua WU Shiguo WANG Lei YANG Shengxiong 2018Journal of Ocean University of China2018,17,1:2
3Modification ratio estimation for a category of adaptive steganography显示文摘This paper investigates the detection of adaptive image steganography. Firstly, the sample pair analysis model of multiple least-significant bits (MLSB) replacement is analyzed, and the conditions under which the adaptive steganography can be detected via this model are given. For the category of adaptive steganography satisfying these conditions, a general quantitative steganalysis method is presented based on specific areas and sample pair analysis. Then, for a typical adaptive steganography, some concrete methods are proposed to select specific areas and trace sets of sample pairs, and estimate the stego modification ratios. Experimental results show that the proposed methods can estimate the stego modification ratio accurately. This verifies the validity of the proposed general quantitative steganalysis method.LUO XiangYang LIU FenLin YANG ChunFang LIAN ShiGuo 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,12:2

7Pre-Drilling Prediction Techniques on the High-Temperature High-Pressure Hydrocarbon Reservoirs Offshore Hainan Island,China显示文摘Decreasing the risks and geohazards associated with drilling engineering in high-temperature high-pressure(HTHP) geologic settings begins with the implementation of pre-drilling prediction techniques(PPTs). To improve the accuracy of geopressure prediction in HTHP hydrocarbon reservoirs offshore Hainan Island, we made a comprehensive summary of current PPTs to identify existing problems and challenges by analyzing the global distribution of HTHP hydrocarbon reservoirs, the research status of PPTs, and the geologic setting and its HTHP formation mechanism. Our research results indicate that the HTHP formation mechanism in the study area is caused by multiple factors, including rapid loading, diapir intrusions, hydrocarbon generation, and the thermal expansion of pore fluids. Due to this multi-factor interaction, a cloud of HTHP hydrocarbon reservoirs has developed in the Ying-Qiong Basin, but only traditional PPTs have been implemented, based on the assumption of conditions that do not conform to the actual geologic environment, e.g., Bellotti's law and Eaton's law. In this paper, we focus on these issues, identify some challenges and solutions, and call for further PPT research to address the drawbacks of previous works and meet the challenges associated with the deepwater technology gap. In this way, we hope to contribute to the improved accuracy of geopressure prediction prior to drilling and provide support for future HTHP drilling offshore Hainan Island.ZHANG Hanyu LIU Huaishan WU Shiguo SUN Jin YANG Chaoqun XIE Yangbing CHEN Chuanxu GAO Jinwei WANG Jiliang 2018Journal of Ocean University of China2018,17,1:1

13Free-standing phosphorous-doped molybdenum nitride in 3D carbon nanosheet towards hydrogen evolution at all pH values显示文摘Highly efficient electrocatalysts towards hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) with large current density at all-pH values are critical for the sustainable hydrogen production. Herein, we report a free-standing HER electrode, phosphorous-doped molybdenum nitride nanoparticles embedded in 3-dimentional carbon nanosheet matrix(P-Mo2N-CNS) fabricated via one-step carbonization and in-situ formation. The asprepared catalyst shows free-standing architecture with interconnected porous microstructure. P-doped Mo2N nanoparticles with an average diameter of 4.4 nm are well embedded in the 3-dimentional vertical carbon nanosheets matrix. Remarkable electrocatalytic HER performance is observed in alkaline, neutral and acidic media at large current densities. The overpotential of P-Mo2N-CNS to drive a current density of 100 mA cm-2 in 0.5 M H2SO4 and 1.0 M PBS is only 181 and 221 mV, respectively. In particular, the current density reaches up to 1000 mA cm-2 at a low overpotential of 256 mV in 1.0 M KOH, much better than that of the commercial Pt/C catalyst. Density functional theory calculations suggest the optimized H sorption kinetics on Mo2N after P doping, elucidating the superior activity.Qiyou Wang Yan Zhang Wenpeng Ni Yi Zhang Tian Sun Jiaheng Zhang Junfei Duan Yang Gao Shiguo Zhang 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,11:1

15Acoustic Prediction and Risk Evaluation of Shallow Gas in Deep-Water Areas显示文摘Shallow gas is a potential risk in deep-water drilling that must not be ignored,as it may cause major safety problems, such as well kicks and blowouts. Thus, the pre-drilling prediction of shallow gas is important. For this reason, this paper conducted deep-water shallow gas acoustic simulation experiments based on the characteristics of deep-water shallow soil properties and the theory of sound wave speed propagation. The results indicate that the propagation speed of sound waves in shallow gas increases with an in-crease in pressure and decreases with increasing porosity.Pressure and sound wave speed are basically functions of the power expo-nent.Combined with the theory of sound wave propagation in a saturated medium, this paper establishes a multivariate functional relationship between sound wave speed and formation pressure and porosity. The numerical simulation method is adopted to simulate shal-low gas eruptions under different pressure conditions.Shallow gas pressure coefficients that fall within the ranges of 1.0-1.1,1.1-1.2,and exceeding 1.2 are defined as low-,medium-,and high-risk,respectively,based on actual operations. This risk assessment me-thod has been successfully applied to more than 20 deep-water wells in the South China Sea,with a prediction accuracy of over 90%.YANG Jin WU Shiguo TONG Gang WANG Huanhuan GUO Yongbin ZHANG Weiguo ZHAO Shaowei SONG Yu YIN Qishuai XU Fei 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,5:1
