1High-speed image reconstruction for optically sectioned,super-resolution structured illumination microscopy显示文摘Super-resolution structured illumination microscopy(SR-SIM)is an outstanding method for visualizing the subcellular dynamics in living cells.To date,by using elaborately designed systems and algorithms,SR-SIM can achieve rapid,optically sectioned,SR observation with hundreds to thousands of time points.However,real-time observation is still out of reach for most SIM setups as conventional algorithms for image reconstruction involve a heavy computing burden.To address this limitation,an accelerated reconstruction algorithm was developed by implementing a simplified workflow for SR-SIM,termed joint space and frequency reconstruction.This algorithm results in an 80-fold improvement in reconstruction speed relative to the widely used Wiener-SIM.Critically,the increased processing speed does not come at the expense of spatial resolution or sectioning capability,as demonstrated by live imaging of microtubule dynamics and mitochondrial tubulation.Zhaojun Wang Tianyu Zhao Huiwen Hao Yanan Cai Kun Feng Xue Yun Yansheng Liang Shaowei Wang Yujie Sun Piero RBianco Kwangsung Oh Ming Lei 2022Advanced Photonics2022,4,2:9
2Tribological Behavior of In Situ TiC/Graphene/Graphite/Ti6Al4V Matrix Composite Through Laser Cladding显示文摘The TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating was prepared by laser cladding.The microstructure and tribological behavior of the coating were studied.The in situ reaction between graphene and Ti occurred,and feathery TiC was formed.The feathery TiC was homogeneously distributed betweenα’acicular martensites which was refined with the addition of graphene.Some graphene was transformed into allotrope graphite under the laser irradiation.The TiC hard particles and the self-lubrication of graphene/graphite improved the wear resistance of composite coating.The wear rate and friction coefficient of TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating decreased with the increase in sliding speed,a mechanical mixing layer(MML)was formed on the wear surface of the composite coating under the frictional heat,which protected the substrate and reduced the contact.Because of the self-lubricating properties of graphene/graphite,interlayer sliding occurred easily,which also effectively reduced friction.The wear rate of TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating increased with the increase in load,but the friction coefficient decreased.The plastic deformation of subsurface layer was more serious under high load,and a stable self-lubricating MML with a protective effect was formed between the wear interfaces,which reduced the friction coefficient.With the increase in load,the wear mechanism changed from abrasive and oxidation wear to delamination,fatigue and oxidation wear.Zhanyong Zhao Lizheng Zhang Peikang Bai Wenbo Du Shaowei Wang Xiangyan Xu Qingnan Dong Yuxin Li Bing Han 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,10:5
3Lossless data hiding based on prediction-error adjustment显示文摘A novel lossless data hiding scheme based on a combination of prediction and the prediction-error adjustment (PEA) is presented in this paper. For one pixel,its four surrounding neighboring pixels are used to predict it and 1-bit watermark information is embedded into the prediction-error. In traditional approaches,for the purpose of controlling embedding distortion,only pixels with small prediction-errors are used for embedding. However,when the threshold is small,it is difficult to efficiently com-press the location map which is used to identify embedding locations. Thus,PEA is introduced to make large prediction-error available for embedding while causing low embedding distortions,and accord-ingly,the location map can be compressed well. As a result,the hiding capacity is largely increased. 4Early-Cretaceous Syenites and Granites in the Northeastern Tengchong Block, SW China: Petrogenesis and Tectonic Implications显示文摘Whole-rock major and trace element and Sr-Nd isotopic data, together with zircon LA ICPMS in-situ U-Pb and Hf isotopic data of the syenites and granites in the Tengchong Block are reported in order to understand their petrogenesis and tectonic implications. Zircon U-Pb data gives the emplacement ages of ca. 115.3±0.9 Ma for syenites and 115.7±0.8 Ma for granites, respectively. The syenites are characterized by low SiO_2 content(62.01–63.03 wt%) and notably high Na_2O content(7.04–7.24 wt%) and Na_2O/K_2O ratios(2.02–2.10), low MgO, Fe_2O_3 T and TiO_2, enrichment of LILEs(large-ion lithophile element) such as Rb, Th, U, K, and Pb) and obvious depletion HFSE(high field strength element; e.g. Nb, Ta, P, and Ti) with clearly negative Eu anomalies(d Eu=0.53–0.56). They also display significant negative whole-rock εNd(t) values of-6.8 and zircon εHf(t) values(-9.11 to-0.27, but one is +5.30) and high initial ^(87) Sr/^(86) Sr=0.713013. Based on the data obtained in this study, we suggest that the ca. 115.3 Ma syenites were possibly derived from a sodium-rich continental crustal source, and the fractionation of some ferro-magnesian mineral and plagioclase might occur during the evolution of magma. The granites have high SiO_2 content(71.35–74.47 wt%), metaluminous to peraluminous, low Rb/Ba, Rb/Sr, and Al_2O_3/(MgO+FeOT+TiO_2) ratios and moderate(Al_2O_3+MgO+FeOT+TiO_2) content. They show low initial ^(87) Sr/^(86) Sr(0.703408 to 0.704241) and εNd(t) values(-3.8 to-3.5), plotted into the evolutionary trend between basalts and lower crust. Hence, we suggest that the granites were derived from the melting of mixing sources in the ancient continental crust involving some metabasaltic materials and predominated metasedimentary greywackes. 5Competition between Populus euphratica and Tamarix ramosissima seedlings under simulated high groundwater availability显示文摘Desert riparian plants experience high variability in water availability due to hydrological fluctuations. How riparian plants can survive with low water availability has been well studied, however, little is known about the effects of high water availability on plant community structuring. We conducted a mesocosm experiment to test whether seedling competition under simulated high groundwater availability can explain the shift of co-dominance of Populus euphratica and Tamarix ramosissima in early communities to P. euphratica dominance in mature ones along the Tarim River in northwestern China. Seedlings of these two plant species were grown in monoculture and mixture pools with high groundwater availability. Results indicated that the above-ground biomass and relative yield of T. ramosissima were higher than those of P. euphratica. The competitive advantages of T. ramosissima included its rapid response in growth to groundwater enrichment and its water spender strategy, as evidenced by the increased leaf biomass proportion and the inert stomatal response to leaf-to-air vapor pressure deficit(VPD). In comparison, P. euphratica showed a conservative strategy in water use, with a sensitive response to leaf-to-air VPD. Result of the short-term competition was inconsistent with the long-term competition in fields, suggesting that competition exclusion is not the mechanism structuring the desert riparian plant communities. 6Health evaluation method for degrading systems subject to dependent competing risks显示文摘This paper proposes a health evaluation method for degrading systems subject to competing risks of dependent soft and hard failures. To characterize the time-varying degradation rate, the degradation process is determined by a non-stationary Gamma process and the soft failure is encountered when it exceeds a predefined critical level. For the hard failure, a Cox's proportional hazard model is applied to describe the hazard rate of the time to system failure. The dependent relationship is modeled by incorporating the degradation process as a time-varying covariate into the Cox's proportional hazard model. To facilitate the health characteristics evaluation, a discretization technique is applied both to the degradation process and the monitoring time.All health characteristics can be obtained in the explicit form using the transition probability matrix, which is computationally attractive for practical applications. 8Syntheses and Insecticidal Activity of Spirocyclic Tetronic Acid Derivatives Containing Oxime Ether Moiety显示文摘In order to develop novel spirocyclic tetronic acid lead compounds,a series of new spirocyclic tetronic acid derivatives containing oxime ether moiety was synthesized and bioassayed.The stmctures of 16 target compounds were characterized by lH NMR spectra,13C NMR spectra and high-resolution mass spectrometer(HRMS).Preliminary bioassays indicated that most of the title compounds displayed excellent insecticidal activity against Aphis fabae and Nilapmyata lugens at 100 mg/L.In particular,compound 6k showed the similar activity(LC50=6.87 mg/L)against A.fabae as the spirotetramat(LC50=4.56 mg/L)and had better efIects(LC50=l.64 mg/L)against N.lugens in comparison with spirotetramat(LC5o=7.90 mg/L).The study showed that compound 6k exhibited more promising and broad-spectrum insecticide activity and may serve as a new insecticidal agent for sucking pests.ZHAO Yang CHENG Jingli XIE Zhengang FANG Shaowei ZHAO Jinhao 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,5:3

10Coupled Tamm plasmon polaritons induced narrow bandpass filter with ultra-wide stopband显示文摘Narrow bandpass filters(NBPFs)play important roles in optics,such as quantum communication,spectrometer,and wavelength division multiplexing.However,the stopband and restraint ability of traditional NBPFs is limited.In this article,a coupled Tamm plasmon polaritons(TPPs)induced transmission theory has been proposed to design high-efficiency NBPFs with ultra-wide deep stopbands.An NBPF at 1.55 μm has been experimentally demonstrated with full width at half maximum(FWHM)of 10 nm and stopband ranging from 0.2 to 25 μm which is 62 times wider than that of traditional ones.Furthermore,the restraint depth of the stopband reaches 0.03%,which is only 1/20 of a traditional filter with the same FWHM.Its advantage in restraining ambient light over traditional ones has also been demonstrated with an InGaAs infrared detector.It provides a very powerful way to capture specific narrowband optical signals from ultra-wide strong ambient light,especially useful for daytime quantum communications.Qingquan Liu Xinchao Zhao Chenlu Li Xinglei Zhou Yu Chen Shaowei Wang Wei Lu 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:2

12Capsid destabilization and epitope alterations of human papillomavirus 18 in the presence of thimerosal显示文摘Thimerosal has been widely used as a preservative in drug and vaccine products for decades.Due to the strong propensity to modify thiols in proteins,conformational changes could occur due to covalent bond formation between ethylmercury(a degradant of thimerosal)and thiols.Such a conformational change could lead to partial or even complete loss of desirable protein function.This study aims to investigate the effects of thimerosal on the capsid stability and antigenicity of recombinant human papillomavirus(HPV)18 virus-like particles(VLPs).Dramatic destabilization of the recombinant viral capsid upon thimerosal treatment was observed.Such a negative effect on the thermal stability of VLPs preserved with thimerosal was shown to be dependent on the thimerosal concentration.Two highly neutralizing antibodies,13H12 and 3C3,were found to be the most sensitive to thimerosal treatment.The kinetics of antigenicity loss,when monitored with 13H12 or 3C3 as probes,yielded two distinctly different sets of kinetic parameters,while the data from both monoclonal antibodies(mAbs)followed a biphasic exponential decay model.The potential effect of thimerosal on protein function,particularly for thiolcontaining proteinaceous active components,needs to be comprehensively characterized during formulation development when a preservative is necessary.Xiaofen Huang Yike Li Meifeng Nie Mingxi Yue Yufang Li Zhijie Lin Huirong Pan Mujin Fang Ting Wu Shaowei Li Jun Zhang Ningshao Xia Qinjian Zhao 2021Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2021,11,5:1

16Acoustic Prediction and Risk Evaluation of Shallow Gas in Deep-Water Areas显示文摘Shallow gas is a potential risk in deep-water drilling that must not be ignored,as it may cause major safety problems,such as well kicks and blowouts.Thus,the pre-drilling prediction of shallow gas is important.For this reason,this paper conducted deep-water shallow gas acoustic simulation experiments based on the characteristics of deep-water shallow soil properties and the theory of sound wave speed propagation.The results indicate that the propagation speed of sound waves in shallow gas increases with an in-crease in pressure and decreases with increasing porosity.Pressure and sound wave speed are basically functions of the power expo-nent.Combined with the theory of sound wave propagation in a saturated medium,this paper establishes a multivariate functional relationship between sound wave speed and formation pressure and porosity.The numerical simulation method is adopted to simulate shal-low gas eruptions under different pressure conditions.Shallow gas pressure coefficients that fall within the ranges of 1.0-1.1,1.1-1.2,and exceeding 1.2 are defined as low-,medium-,and high-risk,respectively,based on actual operations.This risk assessment me-thod has been successfully applied to more than 20 deep-water wells in the South China Sea,with a prediction accuracy of over 90%.YANG Jin WU Shiguo TONG Gang WANG Huanhuan GUO Yongbin ZHANG Weiguo ZHAO Shaowei SONG Yu YIN Qishuai XU Fei 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,5:1
17Two-dimensional porous zinc cobalt sulfide nanosheet arrays with superior electrochemical performance for supercapatteries显示文摘Unique two-dimensional(2D)porous nanosheets with overwhelmingly rich channels and large specific surface area exhibit superior electrochemical capacitance performance,as compared to the conventional zero-and one-dimensional counterparts.As ternary transition metal sulfides(TMSs)are well recognized for their high electrochemical activity and capacity,and the replacement of oxygen with sulfur may result in high stability and flexible properties of the nanomaterials,as compared to transition metal oxides,herein we report the synthesis of 2D porous nanosheet arrays of Zn_(x)Co_(1-x)S(x=0,0.25,0.5,0.75,and 1)via a facile hydrothermal process.Due to the synergistic effect of the metal components and a unique 2D porous structure,the Zn_(0.5)Co_(0.5)S electrode was found to stand out as the best among the series,with a high specific capacity of 614 C g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1)and excellent cycle retention rate of 90%over 10,000 cycles at 10 A g^(-1).Notably,a supercapattery based on a Zn_(0.5)Co_(0.5)S positive electrode and an activated carbon(AC)negative electrode(Zn_(0.5)Co_(0.5)S//AC)was found to display a 1.6 V voltage window,a 61 mA h g^(-1)specific capacity at 1 A g^(-1),a 49 Wh kg^(-1)energy density at 957 W kg^(-1)power density,and excellent cycling performance(88%over 10,000 cycles),suggesting tremendous potential of Zn_(0.5)Co_(0.5)S in the development of high-performance supercapattery devices.Yang Li Ziyang Luo Shunfei Liang Huizhen Qin Xun Zhao Lingyun Chen Huayu Wang Shaowei Chen 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,30:1

20Experimental exploration of five-qubit quantum error-correcting code with superconducting qubits显示文摘Quantum error correction is an essential ingredient for universal quantum computing.D espite tremendous experimental efforts in the study of quantum error correction,to date,there has been no demonstration in the realis ation of universal quantum error-correcting code,with the subsequent verification of all key features including the identification of an arbitrary physical error,the capability for transversal manipulation of the logical state and state decoding.To address this challenge,we experimentally realise the [5,1,3]code,the so-called smallest perfect code that permits corrections of generic single-qubit errors.In the experiment,having optimised the encoding circuit,we employ an array of superconducting qubits to realise the [5,1,3] code for several typical logical states including the magic state,an indispensable resource for realising non-Clifford gates.The encoded states are prepared with an average fidelity of 57.1(3)% while with a high fidelity of 98.6(1)% in the code space.Then,the arbitrary single-qubit errors introduced manually are identified by measuring the stabilisers.We further implement logical Pauli operations with a fidelity of 97.2(2)% within the code space.Finally,we realise the decoding circuit and recover the input state with an overall fidelity of 74.5(6)%,in total with 92 gates.Our work demonstrates each key aspect of the [5,1,3] code and verifies the viability of experimental realisation of quantum error-correcting codes with superconducting qubits.Ming Gong Xiao Yuan Shiyu Wang Yulin Wu Youwei Zhao Chen Zha Shaowei Li Zhen Zhang Qi Zhao Yunchao Liu Futian Liang Jin Lin Yu Xu Hui Deng Hao Rong He Lu Simon C.Benjamin Cheng-Zhi Peng Xiongfeng Ma Yu-Ao Chen Xiaobo Zhu Jian-Wei Pan 2022National Science Review2022,9,1:1
