12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 3Effects of environmental contaminants on fertility and reproductive health显示文摘Recent research indicates that the human infertility rate is increasing. Although various reasons have been hypothesized for the growing infertility rate, environmental contaminants are potentially important causal agents associated with this change.Chemical contaminants are widespread throughout our environment and human exposure is virtually unavoidable. The overall contribution of environmental exposure to infertility is unknown, but studies involving occupational exposure, together with results from animal experiments, suggest that environmental contaminants may adversely affect fertility. We reviewed the adverse effects of environmental exposure on fertility and related reproductive outcomes. Environmental contaminants covered in this review include heavy metals, organic solvents, pesticides and endocrine disrupting chemicals. 4Weakly magnetic field-assisted synthesis of magnetite nano-particles in oxidative co-precipitation显示文摘This paper presents experimental results on weakly magnetic field-assisted synthesis of magnetite (Fe3O4) nano-particles in an oxidative co-precipitation method,in comparison to the case without magnetic induction. The XRD results show that a weakly magnetic induction below 220 Gs could accelerate the phase transformation from goethite (-FeOOH) to magnetite (Fe3O4),and affect the crystal structure,the particle size/morphology and magnetic response of the magnetite nano-particles synthesized. 5Seasonal variations of sulfur aerosols at Zhongshan Station, East Antarctica显示文摘Observations of atmospheric methane-sulfonic acid(MSA) and non-sea-salt sulfate(nss-SO42-) from December 2010 to November 2011 at Zhongshan Station are presented in this paper. MSA and nss-SO42- average concentrations were 24.2 ± 37.9 ng·m-3(0.5–158.3 ng·m-3) and 53.0 ± 82.6 ng·m-3(not detected [n.d.]) – 395.4 ng·m-3), respectively. Strong seasonal variations of MSA and nss-SO42-, with maxima in austral summer and minima in winter, were examined. The high concentrations of sulfur compounds in December may be attributed the dimethyl sulfide(DMS) emissions from the marginal ice zone, when open water near the sampling site was important in impacting the sulfur species of January and February at Zhongshan Station. 6Seasonal variations in aerosol compositions at Great Wall Station in Antarctica显示文摘High volume aerosol samplers at Great Wall Station in Antarctica were used to collect 73 aerosol samples between January 2012 and November 2013. The main ions in these aerosol samples, Cl-, NO3-, SO42-, Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, NH4+, as well as methane sulfonic acid, were analyzed using ion chromatography. Trace metals in these samples, including Pb, Cu, Cd, V, Zn, Fe, and Al, were determined by inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Results showed that sea salt was the main component in aerosols at Great Wall Station. Most ions exhibited significant seasonal variations, with higher concentrations in summer and autumn than in winter and spring. Variations in ions and trace metals were related to several processes(or sources), including sea salt emission, secondary aerosol formation, and anthropogenic pollution from both local and distant sources. The sources of ions and trace metals were identified using enrichment factor, correlation, and factor analyses. 7Increased plasma leptin as a novel predictor for psychopathological depressive symptoms in chronic schizophrenia显示文摘Background Depressive symptoms are often seen in schizophrenia. The overlap in presentation makes it difficult to distinguish depressive symptoms from the negative symptoms of schizophrenia. The adipokine leptin was found to be altered in both depression and schizophrenia. There are few studies focusing on the prediction of leptin in diagnosis and evaluation of depressive symptoms in schizophrenia.ObjectiveAims To assess the plasma leptin level in patients with schizophrenia and its relationships with depressive symptoms.Methods Cross-sectional studies were applied to(1) compare the levels of plasma leptin between schizophrenia(n=74) and healthy controls(n=50); and(2)investigate the relationship between plasma leptin levels and depressive subscores.Results(1) Plasma leptin levels were significantly higher in patients with schizophrenia than in healthy controls.(2) Correlation analysis revealed a significant negative association between leptin levels and the depressed factor scores on the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS).(3) Stepwise multiple regression analyses identified leptin as an influencing factor for depressed factor score on PANSS.Conclusion Leptin may serve as a predictor for the depressive symptoms of chronic schizophrenia.Jinjie Xu Yumei Jiao Mengjuan Xing Yezhe Lin Yousong Su Wenhua Ding Cuizhen Zhu Yanmin Peng Dake Qi Donghong Cui 2018General Psychiatry2018,31,6:1

9Preparation of γ-Al2O3 via Hydrothermal Synthesis Using ρ-Al2O3 as Raw Material for Propane Dehydrogenation显示文摘γ-Al2O3 was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis usingρ-Al2O3 and urea as raw materials.In this work,the eff ects of the molar ratio of CO(NH2)2/Al and reaction temperature were investigated,and a Pt–Sn–K/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was prepared.The ammonium aluminum carbonate hydroxide(AACH),γ-Al2O3,and Pt–Sn–K/γ-Al2O3 were characterized by X-ray diff raction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,N2 adsorption–desorption,thermogravimetry–differential thermal analysis,and NH3 temperature-programmed desorption techniques.The reactivity of Pt–Sn–K/γ-Al2O3 for propane dehydrogenation was tested in a micro-fixed-bed reactor.The results show thatγ-Al2O3 with a specific surface area of 358.1 m 2/g and pore volume of 0.96 cm 3/g was obtained when the molar ratio of CO(NH2)2/Al was 3:1 and the reaction temperature was 140℃.The alumina obtained by calcination of AACH has a higher specific surface area and larger pore volume than the industrial pseudo-boehmite does.The catalyst prepared from AACH as precursor showed high selectivity and conversion,which can reach 96.1%and 37.6%,respectively,for propane dehydrogenation.Hongguang Liu Xiaomin Dong Jiping Xia Xiaoyun Li Yanmin Sun Qi Cai 2020Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,5:1

11Cationic telluroviologen derivatives as type-I photosensitizers for tumor photodynamic theranostics显示文摘The hypoxia of the tumor microenvironment(TME)seriously restricts the photodynamic therapy(PDT)effect of conventional type-II photosensitizers,which are highly dependent on O_(2).In this work,a new type-I photosensitizer(TPE-TeVPPh3)consisting of a tetraphenylethylene group(TPE)as a bioimaging moiety,triphenyl-phosphine(PPh3)as a mitochondria-targeting group,and telluroviologen(TeV2+)as a reactive oxygen species(O_(2)•−,•OH)generating moiety is developed.The luminescence intensity of TPE-TeV-PPh3 increased significantly after specific oxidation by excess H2O2 in the TME without responding to normal tissues via the formation of Te═O bond,which can be used for monitoring abnormal H2O2,positioning,and imaging of tumors.TPE-TeV-PPh3 with highly reactive radicals generation and stronger hypoxia tolerance realizes efficient cancer cell killing under hypoxic conditions,achieving 88%tumor growth inhibition.Therefore,TPE-TeV-PPh3 with low phototoxicity in normal tissue achieves tumor imaging and effective PDT toward solid tumors in response to high concentrations of H_(2)O_(2)in the TME,which provides a new strategy for the development of type-I photosensitizers.Qi Sun Qi Su Yujing Gao Kun Zhou Weijie Song Penghe Quan Xiaojian Yang Zhishen Ge Yanmin Zhang Gang He 2023Aggregate2023,4,3:0

13A unified framework of temporal information expression in geosciences knowledge system显示文摘Time is an essential reference system for recording objects,events,and processes in the field of geosciences.There are currently various time references,such as solar calendar,geological time,and regional calendar,to represent the knowledge in different domains and regions,which subsequently entails a time conversion process required to interpret temporal information under different time references.However,the current time conversion method is limited by the application scope of existing time ontologies(e.g.,“Jurassic”is a period in geological ontology,but a point value in calendar ontology)and the reliance on experience in conversion processes.These issues restrict accurate and efficient calculation of temporal information across different time references.To address these issues,this paper proposes a Unified Time Framework(UTF)in the geosciences knowledge system.According to a systematic time element parsing from massive time references,the proposed UTF designs an independent time root node to get rid of irrelevant nodes when accessing different time types and to adapt to the time expression of different geoscience disciplines.Furthermore,this UTF carries out several designs:to ensure the accuracy of time expressions by designing quantitative relationship definitions;to enable time calculations across different time elements by designing unified time nodes and structures,and to link to the required external ontologies by designing adequate interfaces.By comparing the time conversion methods,the experiment proves the UTF greatly supports accurate and efficient calculation of temporal information across different time references in SPARQL queries.Moreover,it shows a higher and more stable performance of temporal information queries than the time conversion method.With the advent of the Big Data era in the geosciences,the UTF can be used more widely to discover new geosciences knowledge across different time references.Shu Wang Yunqiang Zhu Yanmin Qi Zhiwei Hou Kai Sun Weirong Li Lei Hu Jie Yang Hairong Lv 2023Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,5:0
14MyD88 in macrophages protects against colitis via inhibiting the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome in epithelial cells显示文摘The signal adaptor myeloid differentiation primary response 88(MyD88)of Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling is universally expressed in immune cells and non-immune cells,and myeloid cells play a significant role in modulating colitis.Macrophages are myeloid lineage cells which is important for maintaining intestinal homeostasis in inflammation.1 And macrophages can recognize invading pathogens through pattern recognition receptors(PRRs),such as TLRs and the nucleotide oligomerization domain(NOD)-like receptor family,pyrin domain-containing 3(NLRP3),and quickly infiltrate the injured site leading to inflammation.2 MyD88 expression in myeloid cells can rescue the intestinal injury induced by dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)in murine models.However,the mechanism whereby MyD88 works in myeloid cells and influence the progress of the disease remain elusive.In this study,we used DSS induced colitis mouse model and found Lysm-cre-MyD88fl/fl(MyD88ΔМΦ)mice were more susceptible to colitis.The deficiency of MyD88 leads to up-regulation of S100A8,which activate NLRP3 inflammasome and their associated pyroptosis in intestinal epithelial cells in a RAGE dependent manner.Thus,MyD88 signaling in macrophages,which is necessary to maintain intestinal homeostasis,crucially prevents the development of colitis.Our results may shed new lights on potential targets that can be applied in colitis therapy.Shi Liu Yanmin Wu Haiqiang Chen Qi Yuan Shuang Ge Lishu Zhang Lingling Hou Tian Tian Jinhua Zhang 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,2:0
15The Significant Role of Radiosonde-measured Cloud-base Height in the Estimation of Cloud Radiative Forcing显示文摘The satellite-based quantification of cloud radiative forcing remains poorly understood,due largely to the limitation or uncertainties in characterizing cloud-base height(CBH).Here,we use the CBH data from radiosonde measurements over China in combination with the collocated cloud-top height(CTH) and cloud properties from MODIS/Aqua to quantify the impact of CBH on shortwave cloud radiative forcing(SWCRF).The climatological mean SWCRF at the surface(SWCRFSUR),at the top of the atmosphere(SWCRFTOA),and in the atmosphere(SWCRFATM) are estimated to be-97.14,-84.35,and 12.79 W m^(-2),respectively for the summers spanning 2010 to 2018 over China.To illustrate the role of the cloud base,we assume four scenarios according to vertical profile patterns of cloud optical depth(COD).Using the CTH and cloud properties from MODIS alone results in large uncertainties for the estimation of SWCRFATM,compared with those under scenarios that consider the CBH.Furthermore,the biases of the CERES estimation of SWCRFATM tend to increase in the presence of thick clouds with low CBH.Additionally,the discrepancy of SWCRFATM relative to that calculated without consideration of CBH varies according to the vertical profile of COD.When a uniform COD vertical profile is assumed,the largest SWCRF discrepancies occur during the early morning or late afternoon.By comparison,the two-point COD vertical distribution assumption has the largest uncertainties occurring at noon when the solar irradiation peaks.These findings justify the urgent need to consider the cloud vertical structures when calculating the SWCRF which is otherwise neglected.Hui XU Jianping GUO Jian LI Lin LIU Tianmeng CHEN Xiaoran GUO Yanmin LYU Ding WANG Yi HAN Qi CHEN Yong ZHANG 2021Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,9:0
