4Hot deformation behavior and processing map of Mg-2Zn-1Al-0.2RE alloy显示文摘In this study,uniaxial hot compression tests were carried out between 200 and 400℃ over strain rates of0.001-1 s-1 to investigate the hot deformation behavior of Mg-2 Zn-1 Al-0.2 RE alloy with coarse grains.The average activation energy was measured to be 174.51 kJ/mol.In addition,a constitutive relation based on the Arrhenius equation was established.Dynamic recrystallization(DRX) kinetics were studied by Avrami equation to characterize the evolution of DRX volume fraction.DRX was favored at high temperatures of 300-400℃ and low strain rates of 0.001-0.01 s-1.According to dynamic material model and Prasad’s instability criterion,a maximum power dissipation of 38% and 32% occurs at 400℃/0.001 s-1 and 400℃/0.01 s-1,respectively.According to the proce ssing map,330-400℃/0.001-0.01 s-1was determined as the optimum deformation parameter range.Yanxia Niu Jian Hou Fangkun Ning Xingrui Chen Yonghui Jia Qichi Le 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,6:1
5Toward practical gas sensing with rapid recovery semiconducting carbon nanotube film sensors显示文摘Nanomaterials have been considered as promising materials to construct highly sensitive and miniaturized gas sensors due to their high ratio of surface to volume,but almost all of the reported nanomaterials based resistive gas sensors are difficult to use in the practical system mainly owing to the long recovery time and non-equilibrium state at room temperature.Here,we demonstrate a gate assistant technology to realize the rapid recovery to an equilibrium state in semiconducting carbon nanotube(CNT)thin-film gas sensors and promote the CNT-based gas sensors to reach the practical application level.Specifically,we construct highly uniform gas sensors based on semiconducting solution-derived CNT film and accelerate the gas molecules desorption by applying a voltage on the back gate(substrate),which is named gate-assistant recovery technology.By combining the gate-assistant recovery technology and a modified concentration calculation method,highly reproducible detection systems have been realized by using a custom-built printed circuit board(PCB)based data acquisition circuits to execute a real-time rapid detection of H_(2) in the air at room temperature,and especially exhibits a record response time of 9 s and recovery time of 50 s under a resolution of 10 ppm,which outperformed previous low dimensional nanomaterials based portable H2 detection systems.The gate-assistant rapid recovery and related concentration calculation technologies are helpful to promote the nanomaterials-based gas sensors to practical application for highly sensitive online gas detection.Fangfang LIU Mengmeng XIAO Yongkai NING Shaoyuan ZHOU Jianping HE Yanxia LIN Zhiyong ZHANG 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,6:1
6Comparing gene expression profiles of Kashin-Beck and Keshan diseases occurring within the same endemic areas of China显示文摘In this study, differentially expressed genes in peripheral blood from patients with Kashin-Beck disease and Keshan disease were compared to further investigate the etiology and pathogenesis of both diseases, which occur in a common endemic area of China. Twenty Kashin-Beck disease patients and 12 healthy controls, and 16 Keshan disease patients and 16 healthy controls, were grouped into four pairs. Patients and controls were selected from common endemic areas for the two diseases. Total RNA was isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells from all patients and controls, and gene expression profiles analyzed by oligonucleotide microarrays. Sixteen genes differentially expressed in both Kashin-Beck disease and Keshan disease (versus controls) were identified, and comprised nine genes showing synchronous and seven asynchronous expression. The Comparative Toxicogenomics Database shows that expression and biological function of these genes can be affected by multiple environmental factors, including mycotoxin and selenium content, potential environmental risk factors for the two diseases. 7The biochemical behavior and mechanism of uranium(Ⅵ)bioreduction induced by natural Bacillus thuringiensis显示文摘For a broader understanding of uranium migration affected by microorganisms in natural anaerobic environment,the bioreduction of uranium(Ⅵ)(U(Ⅵ))was revealed in Bacillus thuringiensis,a dominant bacterium strain with potential of uranium-tolerant isolated from uranium contaminated soil.The reduction behavior was systematically investigated by the quantitative analysis of U(Ⅳ)in bacteria,and mechanism was inferred from the pathway of electron transmission.Under anaerobic conditions,appropriate biomass and sodium lactate as electron donor,reduction behavior of U(Ⅵ)induced by B.thuringiensis was restricted by the activity of lactate dehydrogenase,which was directly affected by the initial pH,temperature and initial U(Ⅵ)concentration of bioreduction system.Bioreduction of U(Ⅵ)was driven by the generation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)from enzymatic reaction of sodium lactate with various dehydrogenase.The transmission of the electrons from bacteria to U(Ⅵ)was mainly supported by the intracellular NADH dehydrogenase-ubiquinone system,this process could maintain the biological activity of cells.Shunzhang Chen Junyuan Gong Yanxia Cheng Yuqi Guo Feize Li Tu Lan Yuanyou Yang Jijun Yang Ning Liu Jiali Liao 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0
8Effects of Salt Stress on Stipa breviflora Seedlings and Antioxidant Isozymes显示文摘Stipa breviflora seeds,collected from Inner Mongolia,were sowed on MS medium containing 0,50,100,150,200 mmol/L NaC l,to investigate the effects of salt stress on the physiological phenotype and antioxidant enzyme activity of S.breviflora seedlings.The results showed the germination rate,root length and fresh weight of seedlings were all influenced by salinity.Germination rate,root length and fresh weight of seedlings were significantly inhibited by 100,150 and50 mmol/L NaC l,and were 62%,1.30 cm,0.299 g,respectively.With NaC l content increasing,the trend of superoxide dismutase( SOD) and peroxidase( POD) activity was rising at first and then falling,and the activity of SOD and POD reached the maximum at 150 and 100 mmol/L,48.6 and 6 766 U/g,respectively.The activity of catalase( CAT) continued to increase and reached the maximum at 150 mmol/L,299 U/g.The isozyme zymogram showed that SOD 2-4,POD 1-2,and CAT 1-2 were positively correlated with salinity tolerance of S.breviflora seedlings.Jing WANG Hongzhou ZI Huangwei LI Yanxia NING Ling LUO 2018Agricultural Biotechnology2018,7,6:0
9Unusual uranium biomineralization induced by green algae: Behavior investigation and mechanism probe显示文摘As a biosorbent,algae are frequently used for the biotreatment or bioremediation of water contaminated by heavymetal or radionuclides.However,it is unclear that whether or not the biomineralization of these metal or radionuclides can be induced by algae in the process of bioremediation and what the mechanism is.In this work,Ankistrodsemus sp.has been used to treat the uranium-contaminated water,and more than 98%of uranium in the solution can be removed by the alga,when the initial uranium concentration ranges from 10 to 80 mg/L.Especially,an unusual phenomenon of algae-induced uranium biomineralization has been found in the process of uranium bioremediation and its mineralization mechanism has been explored bymultiple approaches.It is worth noticing that the biomineralization of uranium induced by Ankistrodsemus sp.is significantly affected by contact time and pH.Uranium is captured rapidly on the cell surface via complexation with the carboxylate radical,amino and amide groups of themicroalgae cells,which provides nucleation sites for the precipitation of insolubleminerals.Uranium stimulates Ankistrodsemus sp.to metabolize potassium ions(K+),which may endow algae with the ability to biomineralize uranium into the rose-like compreignacite(K_(2)[(UO_(2))6O_(4)(OH)_(6)]•8H_(2)O).As the time increased,the amorphous gradually converted into compreignacite crystals and a large number of crystals would expand over both inside and outside the cells.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first investigated microalgae with a time-dependent uranium biomineralization ability and superior tolerance to uranium.This work validates that Ankistrodsemus sp.is a promising alga for the treatment of uranium-contaminated wastewater.Yanxia Cheng Ting Zhang Shunzhang Chen Feize Li Renwei Qing Tu Lan Yuanyou Yang Jiali Liao Ning Liu 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2:0
