| 1 | The first all-season sample set for mapping global land cover with Landsat-8 data显示文摘We report the world's first all-season training and validation sample sets for global land cover classification with Landsat-8 data.Prior to this,such samples were only available at a single date primarily from the growing season.It is unknown how much limitation such a single-date sample has to mapping global land cover in other seasons of the year.To answer this question,we selected available Landsat-8 images from four seasons and collected training and validation samples from them.We compared the performances of training samples in different seasons using Random Forest algorithm.We found that the use of training samples from any individual season would result in the best overall classification accuracy when validated by samples in the same season.The global overall accuracy from combined best seasonal results was 67.2% when classifying the 11 Level-1 classes in the Finer Resolution Observation and Monitoring of Global Land Cover(FROM-GLC) classification system.The use of training samples from all seasons(named all-season training sample set hereafter) produced an overall accuracy of 67.0%.We also tested classification within 10° latitude 60° longitude zones using all-season training subsample within each zone and obtained an overall accuracy of 70.2%.This indicates that properly grouped subsamples in space can help improve classification accuracies.All the results in this study seem to suggest that it is possible to use an all-season training sample set to reach global optimality with universal applicability in classifying images acquired at any time of a year for global land cover mapping. | Congcong Li Peng Gong Jie Wang Zhiliang Zhu Gregory S. | 3 | Inlet Recirculation Influence to the Flow Structure of Centrifugal Impeller显示文摘Inlet recirculation is proved as an effective way for centrifugal compressor surge margin extension,and is successively used in some engineering applications.Unfortunately its working mechanism is still not being well understood,which leads to redesigning of inlet recirculation mostly by experience.Also,most study about inlet recirculation is steady to date.It is necessary to study surge margin extension mechanism about inlet recirculation.To expose the mechanism in detail,steady and unsteady numerical simulations were performed on a centrifugal compressor with and without inlet recirculation.The results showed that,with inlet recirculation,the inlet axial velocity is augmented,relative Mach number around blade tip leading edge area is significantly reduced and so is the flow angle.As the flow angle decreased,the incidence angle reduced which greatly improves the flow field inside the impeller.Moreover,inlet recirculation changes the blade loading around blade tip and restrains the flow separation on the blade suction side at the leading edge area.The unsteady results of static pressure around blade surface,entropy at inlet crossflow section and vorticity distributions at near tip span surface indicated that,at near stall condition,strong fluctuation exists in the vicinity of tip area due to the interaction between tip leakage flow and core flow.By inlet recirculation these strong flow fluctuations are eliminated so the flow stability is greatly enhanced.All these improvements mentioned above are the reason for inlet recirculation delays compressor stall.This research reveals the surge margin extension reason of inlet recirculation from an unsteady flow viewpoint and provides important reference for inlet recirculation structure design. | YANG Ce CHEN Shan LI Du YANG Changmao WANG Yidi | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,5: | 10 |

| 6 | Immunotherapy of Epstein-Barr Virus Associated Malignancies Using Mycobacterial HSP70 and LMP2A356-364 Epitope Fusion Protein显示文摘Epstein-Barr virus infection is strongly associated with a number of malignancies.The EBV latent membrane protein 2A has been implicated as one of the most attractive candidates for immunotherapy of related malignancies.In previous studies,the T cell epitopes of LMP2A have been identified systematically.However,the epitope-based vaccine generally meets inefficient immunogenicity when used in vivo directly,which could be overcome by combination with appropriate adjuvants.Heat shock protein is a natural chaperon,which is able to activate the classical major histocompatibility complex class I antigen-processing pathway(cross-presentation).In this study,a minigene encoding LMP2A356-364(FLYALALLL)was genetically fused to the carboxy-terminal of mycobacterial heat shock protein 70.The epitope fusion protein was expressed and purified,and the cross-presentation of LMP2A_(356-364) by monocyte-derived dendritic cells pulsed with the epitope fusion protein was evaluated.Results showed that the epitope fusion protein-pulsed mDCs were much more efficient than the single peptide-pulsed mDCs on CTL activation.Immunization of HLA-A2.1 transgenic mice with MtHsp70-LMP2A_(356-364) generated peptide specific CTL more effectively than a single peptide plus incomplete Freund's adjuvant(IFA).Growth of LMP2A expressing B16 melanoma tumor cells was suppressed in the vaccinated groups.Our results suggested that MtHsp70-LMP2A_(356-364) fusion protein was more effective than the CD8^(+)T cell epitope alone on anti-tumor immunity.As a result,the MtHsp70-LMP2A_(356-364) fusion protein is considered to be a promising candidate vaccine for EBV related malignancies. | Genyan Liu Kun Yao Bing Wang Yun Chen Feng Zhou Yidi Guo Jian Xu Hongzhen Shi | 2009 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2009,6,6: | 6 |

| 8 | Rabies virus co-localizes with early(Rab5) and late(Rab7) endosomal proteins in neuronal and SH-SY5Y cells显示文摘Rabies virus(RABV) is a highly neurotropic virus that follows clathrin-mediated endocytosis and p H-dependent pathway for trafficking and invasion into endothelial cells. Early(Rab5, EEA1) and late(Rab7, LAMP1) endosomal proteins play critical roles in endosomal sorting, maturity and targeting various molecular cargoes, but their precise functions in the early stage of RABV neuronal infection remain elusive. In this study, the relationship between enigmatic entry of RABV with these endosomal proteins into neuronal and SH-SY5 Y cells was investigated.Immunofluorescence, TCID_(50) titers, electron microscopy and western blotting were carried out to determine the molecular interaction of the nucleoprotein(N) of RABV with early or late endosomal proteins in these cell lines. The expression of N was also determined by down-regulating Rab5 and Rab7 in both cell lines through RNA interference. The results were indicative that N proficiently colocalized with Rab5/EEA1 and Rab7/LAMP1 in both cell lines at 24 and 48 h post-infection, while N titers significantly decreased in early infection of RABV. Down-regulation of Rab5 and Rab7 did not inhibit N expression, but it prevented productive infection via blocking the normal trafficking of RABV in a low pH environment. Ultrathin sections of cells studied by electron microscope also verified the close association of RABV with Rab5 and Rab7 in neurons. | 13 | In situ formation of lithiophilic Li_(22)Sn_(5) alloy and high Li-ion conductive Li_(2)S/Li_(2)Se via metal chalcogenide SnSSe for dendrite-free Li metal anodes显示文摘Lithium metal has gained extensive attention as the most ideal candidate for next-generation battery anode owing to the ultrahigh specific capacity and the lowest electrochemical potential.However,uncontrollable dendrite growth and huge volume variation extremely restrict the future deployment of lithium metal batteries.Herein,we report metal chalcogenide SnSSe with unique nanoplate stacking structure as a robust substrate for stable Li metal anode.During the initial Li plating process,lithiophilic Li_(22)Sn_(5) alloy and Li_(2)S/Li_(2)Se sites are obtained via in-situ electrochemical reaction of Li metal and SnSSe.Density functional theory(DFT)calculation demonstrates that the formed Li_(2)S/Li_(2)Se achieves low Li diffusion energy barrier,ensuring rapid Li~+migration.Li_(22)Sn_(5) alloy provides strong nucleation sites,promoting uniform Li nucleation.Furthermore,in-situ optical microscopy analysis suggests that the synthesized effect fundamentally inhibits lithium dendrite growth.Consequently,SnSSe modified Cu foil delivered an ultralow nucleation overpotential,superior cycling stability with 450 cycles(Coulombic efficiency,>98%),and excellent plating/stripping behavior over 2200 h at 0.5 mA cm^(-2).Moreover,the brilliant reversible cycles and rate capability were also realized in Li@SnSSe//LiFePO_(4)(LFP)full cell,shedding light on the feasibility of SnSSe for stable and dendrite-free lithium metal anode. | Yaya Wang Yang Guo Jiang Zhong Meng Wang Lei Wang Shengyang Li Song Chen Hongli Deng Yong Liu Yidi Wu Jian Zhu Bingan Lu | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10: | 0 |

| 16 | Unraveling the skatole biodegradation process in an enrichment consortium using integrated omics and culture-dependent strategies显示文摘3-Methylindole(skatole)is regarded as one of the most offensive compounds in odor emission.Biodegradation is feasible for skatole removal but the functional species and genes responsible for skatole degradation remain enigmatic.In this study,an efficient aerobic skatole-degrading consortium was obtained.Rhodococcus and Pseudomonas were identified as the two major and active populations by integrated metagenomic and metatranscriptomic analyses.Bioinformatic analyses indicated that the skatole downstream degradation wasmainly via the catechol pathway,and upstream degradation was likely catalyzed by the aromatic ring-hydroxylating oxygenase and flavin monooxygenase.Genome binning and gene analyses indicated that Pseudomonas,Pseudoclavibacter,and Raineyella should cooperate with Rhodococcus for the skatole degradation process.Moreover,a pure strain Rhodococcus sp.DMU1 was successfully obtained which could utilize skatole as the sole carbon source.Complete genome sequencing showed that strain DMU1 was the predominant population in the consortium.Further crude enzyme and RT-qPCR assays indicated that strain DMU1 degraded skatole through the catechol ortho-cleavage pathway.Collectively,our results suggested that synergistic degradation of skatole in the consortium should be performed by diverse bacteria with Rhodococcus as the primary degrader,and the degradation mainly proceeded via the catechol pathway. | Qiao Ma Nan Meng Jiancheng Su Yujie Li Jiazheng Gu Yidi Wang Jingwei Wang Yuanyuan Qu Zelong Zhao Yeqing Sun | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5: | 0 |

| 18 | Comparative study on Photobiomodulation between 630 nm and 810 nm LED in diabetic wound healing both in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Photobiomodulation(PBM)promoting wound healing has been demonstrated by many studies.Currently,630 nm and 810 nm light-emitting diodes(LEDs),as light sources,are frequently used in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers(DFUs)in clinics.However,the dose-effect relationship of LED-mediated PBM is not fully understood.Furthermore,among the 630 nm and 810 nm LEDs,which one gets a better effect on accelerating the wound healing of diabetic ulcers is not clear.The aim of this study is to evaluate and compare the effects of 630 nm and 810 nm LED-mediated PBM in wound healing both in vitro and in vivo.Our results showed that both 630 nm and 810 nm LED irradiation significantly promoted the proliferation of mouse fibroblast cells(L929)at different light irradiances(1,5,and 10 mW/cm^(2)).The cell proliferation rate increased with the extension of irradiation time(100,200,and 500 s),but it decreased when the irradiation time was over 500 s.Both 630 nm and 810nm LED irradiation(5 mW/cm^(2))significantly improved the migration capability of L929 cells.No difference between 630 nm and 810 nm LED-mediated PBM in promoting cell proliferation and migration was detected.In vivo results presented that both 630 nm and 810 nm LED irradiation promoted the wound healing and the expression of the vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and transforming growth factor(TGF)in the wounded skin of type 2 diabetic mice.Overall,these results suggested that LED-mediated PBM promotes wound healing of diabetic mice through promoting fibroblast cell proliferation,migration,and the expression of growth factors in the wounded skin.LEDs(630 nm and 810 nm)have a similar outcome in promoting wound healing of type 2 diabetic mice. | Hongyou Zhao Tengda Ji Tianzhen Sun Haolin Liu Yidi Liu Defu Chen Ying Wang Yizhou Tan Jing Zeng Haixia Qiu Ying Gu | 2022 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2022,15,2: | 0 |
| 19 | Long-term follow-up of volumetric modulated arc therapy in definitive radiotherapy for cervical cancer: A single-center retrospective experience显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the treatment outcomes and toxicity of volumetric modulated arc therapy(VMAT)in definitive radiotherapy for patients with cervical cancer.Methods:Medical records of 440 patients with cervical cancer treated with VMAT in definitive radiotherapy with or without concurrent chemotherapy between January 2010 and June 2015 in our institution were retrospectively reviewed.A dose of 45 Gy was prescribed to the planning target volume with VMAT in 25 fractions,followed by high-dose rate intracavitary brachytherapy with 28–36 Gy in 4–6 fractions.Survival time was estimated using Kaplan-Meier method.Risk factors for treatment failure were identified using Cox proportional hazards regression model.Results:The median follow-up periods were 58.3 months(range:2.7–112.9 months).The 3-and 5-year survival rates were overall survival(OS)79.4%and 74.4%,cancer-specific survival(CSS)81.4%and 77.1%,progressionfree survival(PFS)73.3%and 71.1%,locoregional control(LC)83.3%and 82%and distant metastasis-free survival(DMFS)80.8%and 77.7%,respectively.The 5-year OS for patients with different stages was IB191.6%,IB2100%,IIA 82.5%,IIB 74.4%,IIIA 57.1%,IIIB 61.7%and IVB 17.6%,respectively.Of the 124 patients with recurrence,93 patients(75.0%)experienced distant failure.Multivariate analysis showed that non-squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix(P<0.001),more advanced stage(P=0.004),pelvic lymph node metastasis(P<0.001)and para-aortic lymph node metastasis(P=0.019)were all independent risk factors of PFS.The incidence of grades 3–4 late bowel toxicities was 2.7%.No grades 3–4 bladder toxicity was observed.Conclusion:This study demonstrated that the use of VMAT in definitive radiotherapy resulted in satisfactory outcomes with acceptable toxicities for patients with cervical cancer.Distant metastasis predominated as the pattern of disease relapse.Further studies are needed to investigate the intensified systemic therapies. | Yidi Yuan Jing You Weihu Wang Xiaofan Li | 2020 | Radiation Medicine and Protection2020,1,2: | 0 |
| 20 | Physical dosimetric reconstruction of a case of large area back skin injury due to overexposure in an interventional procedure显示文摘To estimate the physical dose of skin and key organs in a case of overexposure during a cardiac interventional procedure.Methods The female patient aged 50 suffered from owerexposure during ardiac interventional therapy in a hospital,Xinxiang city,Henan province,China in January 2020.The mesh-type phantom for the patient was constructed based on the adult mesh-type reference computational phantoms(MRCPs)released by the International Comission on Radiological Protection Publication 145 (ICRP145)and phantom deformation technology.Models of exposure scenario were constructed and simulated with particle and heavy ion transport code system(PHTTS)according to exposure conditions.Resuts:The maximum absorbed dose of key organs/tissues under iradiation in posteroanterior(PA)and 30°left anterior oblique directions(LOA)was 632.4 and 305.6 mGy,respectively.The let lung,heart,and left mammary gland received a larger dose under both iradiation conditions.The ratio of the absorbed dose with and without shielding was a lculated,and the relative difference in most organs was<1%between two directions.The iso-dose curve of the back skin revealed the ditribution of the absorbed dose(0.1-5.2 Gy).The dose estimate of key tssues/organs was higher than the conventional level,especially the local skin,up to 5.2 Gy.Concusions The interventional procedure in this ase resulted in a higher dose.Monte Carlo codes combined with the MRCPs can be employed to estimate physical dose to individuals in concrete irradia tion scenarios. | Yuchen Yin Xuan Wang Xianghui Kong Wenyue Zhang Yidi Wang Yuxuan Mao Jianwei Wang Tianhe Jia Yu Tu Bingjie Zhang Liang Sun | 2022 | Radiation Medicine and Protection2022,3,1: | 0 |
