| 1 | TD-AltBOC:A new COMPASS B2 modulation显示文摘AltBOC(15,10) is the baseline of COMPASS B2 signal modulation.It is a BOC-like signal having different PN codes in the lower and the upper main split lobes,which allow one signal service per lobe.The two lobes can be received and processed separately like two BPSK(10) signals,or coherently processed to achieve better performance.Interoperability among COMPASS B2,Galileo E5 and GPS L5 is also achievable using AltBOC modulation.However,Galileo's 4-code AltBOC has drawbacks such as low efficiency and great receiver complexity.This paper presents a new modulation type named TD-AltBOC (Time Division AltBOC).The signal generation scheme and receiving method are presented,and are compared with AltBOC in the areas of power spectrum,ranging accuracy,anti-multipath performance,anti-interference performance,processing flexibility and complexity.Analysis results show TD-AltBOC has similar spectrum characteristics,interoperability,flexibility and anti-interference performance with AltBOC.When the frontend bandwidth is more than 50 MHz,TD-AltBOC can achieve better ranging accuracy and anti-multipath performance.It also has such advantages as high efficiency and low receiver complexity.TD-AltBOC could be a good solution to COMPASS B2 navigation signal. | TANG ZuPing ZHOU HongWei WEI JiaoLong YAN Tao LIU YuQi RAN YiHang ZHOU YanLing | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,6: | 20 |
| 2 | High-speed and high-efficiency three-dimensional shape measurement based on Gray-coded light显示文摘Fringe projection profilometry has been increasingly sought and applied in dynamic three dimensional(3D)shape measurement.In this work,a robust,high-efficiency 3D measurement based on Gray-coded light is proposed.Unlike the traditional method,a tripartite phase unwrapping method is proposed to avoid the jump errors on the boundary of code words,which are mainly caused by the defocusing of the projector and the motion of the tested object.Subsequently,the time overlapping coding strategy is presented to greatly increase the coding ef-ficiency,decreasing the projected number in each group from seven(i.e.,3+4)to four(i.e.,3+1)for one restored 3D frame.The combination of two proposed techniques allows the reconstruction of a pixel-wise and unambiguous 3D geometry of dynamic scenes with strong noise using every four projected patterns.To the best of our knowledge,the presented techniques for the first time preserve the high anti-noise ability of a method based on the Gray code while overcoming the drawbacks of jump errors and low coding efficiency.Experiments have demonstrated that the proposed method can achieve robust,high efficiency 3D shape measurement of high speed dynamic scenes even polluted by strong noise. | ZHOUJIE WU WENBO GUO YUEYANG LI YIHANG LIU QICAN ZHANG | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,6: | 17 |

| 4 | Downregulation of serum mi R-17 and mi R-106b levels in gastric cancer and benign gastric diseases显示文摘Altered micro RNA(mi RNA) associated with gastric cancer(GC) development and mi R-17 and mi R-106 b were differentially expressed in GC tissues. This study detected serum levels of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b expression in GC, benign gastric disease(BGD) and healthy controls to assess them as tumor markers for GC. Serum samples from 40 GC, 32 BGD(10 gastric ulcer, 14 gastric polyps, and 8 gastric ulcer with polyps) and 36 healthy individuals were subjected to quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR) analysis of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b expression. The data showed that the serum levels of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b were significantly reduced in healthy individuals and BGD patients compared to GC patients. There was a significant association of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b expression with age, but not with other clinicopathological features, such as gender, tumor differentiation, stage and lymphatic metastasis. Further analysis showed that, in discriminating GC patients from healthy controls, mi R-17 could yield a receiver-operating characteristic(ROC) area under the curve(AUC) of 0.879 with 80.6% sensitivity and 87.5% specificity and mi R-106 b could yield an AUC of 0.856 with 75.0% sensitivity and 92.5% specificity. The combined AUC of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b was 0.913 with 83.3% sensitivity and 87.5% specificity. | 5 | Inhibition of Mcl-1 enhances cell death induced by the Bcl-2-selective inhibitor ABT-199 in acute myeloid leukemia cells显示文摘Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)is a serious disease.The 5-year survival rates remain frustratingly low(65%for children and 26%for adults).Resistance to frontline chemotherapy(usually cytarabine)often develops;therefore a new treatment modality is needed.Bcl-2 family proteins play an important role in balancing cell survival and apoptosis.The antiapoptotic Bcl-2 family proteins have been found to be dysregulated in AML.ABT-199,a BH3 mimetic,was developed to target antiapoptotic protein Bcl-2.Although ABT-199 has demonstrated promising results,resistance occurs.Previous studies in AML show that ABT-199 alone decreases the association of proapoptotic protein Bim with Bcl-2,but this is compensated by increased association of Bim with prosurvival protein Mcl-1,stabilizing Mcl-1,resulting in resistance to ABT-199.In this study,we investigated the antileukemic activity of the Mcl-1-selective inhibitor A-1210477 in combination with ABT-199 in AML cells.We found that A-1210477 synergistically induced apoptosis with ABT-199 in AML cell lines and primary patient samples.The synergistic induction of apoptosis was decreased upon Bak,Bax and Bim knockdown.While A-1210477 treatment alone also increased Mcl-1 protein levels,combination with ABT-199 reduced binding of Bim to Mcl-1.Our results demonstrate that sequestration of Bim by Mcl-1,a mechanism of ABT-199 resistance,can be abrogated by combined treatment with the Mcl-1 inhibitor A-1201477. | Daniel A Luedtke Xiaojia Niu Yihang Pan Jianyun Zhao Shuang Liu Holly Edwards Kang Chen Hai Lin Jeffrey W Taub Yubin Ge | 2017 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2017,2,1: | 11 |

| 9 | Quantifying urbanization levels on the Tibetan Plateau with high-resolution nighttime light data显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau(TP)is undergoing rapid urbanization.To improve urban sustainability and construct eco-logical security barriers,it is essential to quantify the spatial patterns of urbanization level on the TP,but the existing studies on the topic have been limited by the lack of socioeconomic data.This study aims to quantify the urbanization level on the TP in 2018 with Luojia1-01(LJ1-01)high-resolution nighttime light(NTL)data.Specifically,the compounded night light index is used to quantify spatial patterns of urbanization level at mul-tiple scales.The results showed that the TP had a low overall urbanization level with a large internal difference.The urbanization level in the northeast,southeast and south of the TP was relatively high,forming three hotspots centered in Xining City,Lhasa City and Shangri-La City,while the urbanization level in the central and western regions was relatively low.The analysis of influencing factors,based on the random forest model,showed that transportation and topography were the main factors affecting the TP’s spatial patterns of urbanization level.The comparison analysis with socioeconomic statistics and traditional NTL data showed that LJ1-01 NTL data can be used to more effectively quantify the urbanization level since it is more advantageous for reflecting the spatial extent of urban land and describing the spatial structure of socioeconomic activities within urban areas.These advantages are attributed to the high spatial resolution of the data,appropriate imaging time and unaf-fected by saturation phenomena.Thus,the proposed LJ1-01 NTL-based urbanization level measurement method has the potential for wide applications around the world,especially in less-developed regions lacking statistical data.Using this method,we refined the measurement of the TP’s urbanization level in 2018 for multiple scales including the region,basin,prefecture and county levels,which provides basic information for the further urban sustainability research on the TP. | Yihang Wang Zhifeng Liu Chunyang He Pei Xia Ziwen Liu Haimeng Liu | 2020 | Geography and Sustainability2020,1,3: | 5 |
| 10 | Cotidal charts and tidal power input atlases of the global ocean from TOPEX/Poseidon and JASON-1 altimetry显示文摘The global distributions of eight principal tidal constituents, M_2 , S_2 , K_1 , O_1 , N_2 , K_2 , P_1 , and Q_1 , are derived using TOPEX/Poseidon and JASON-1(T/P-J) satellite altimeter data for 16 a. The intercomparison of the derived harmonics at 7000 subsatellite track crossover points shows that the root mean square (RMS) values of the tidal height differences of the above eight constituents range from 1.19 cm to 2.67 cm, with an average of about 2 cm. The RMS values of the tidal height differences between T/P-J solutions and the harmonics from ground measurements at 152 tidal gauge stations for the above constituents range from 0.34 cm to 1.08 cm, and the relative deviations range from 0.031 to 0.211. The root sum square of the RMS differences of these eight constituents is 2.12 cm, showing the improvement of the present model over the existing global ocean tidal models. Based on the obtained tidal model the global ocean tidal energetics is studied and the global distribution of the tidal power input density by tide-generating force of each constituent is calculated, showing that the power input source regions of semidiurnal tides are mainly concentrated in the tropical belt between 30 S and 30 N, while the power input source regions of diurnal tides are mainly concentrated off the tropic oceans. The global energy dissipation rates of the M_2 , S_2 , K_1 , O_1 , N_2 , P_1 , K_2 and Q_1 tides are 2.424, 0.401, 0.334, 0.160, 0.113, 0.035, 0.030 and 0.006 TW, respectively. | 17 | Mapping QTL underlying tuber starch content and plant maturity in tetraploid potato显示文摘Tuber starch content and plant maturity are two important agronomic traits of potato. To investigate the complex genetic basis of these traits in the cultivated potato, as well as the relationship between them, we developed a linkage map in a tetraploid population of 192 clones derived from the cross Longshu 8 × Zaodabai and mapped quantitative trait loci(QTL) for tuber starch content and plant maturity using data collected in three diverse environments over two years. We detected eleven QTL for tuber starch content distributed on seven chromosomes, of which four, on chromosomes I, II, and VIII, were expressed in at least three environments. For plant maturity, we identified six QTL on chromosomes II, IV,V, VII, and XI, one of which, on chromosome V, showed LOD peaks ranging from 45.2 to 62.5 cM and explained 21.6%–26.6% of phenotypic variation was expressed in five of the six environments. Because the reproducible QTL for plant maturity and tuber starch content mapped to different chromosomes and neither overlapping QTL, nor any genetic interaction between QTL were detected, we infer that tuber starch content and plant maturity are controlled by independent genetic loci. | 18 | Acute toxicity study of Aspidopterys obcordata aqueous extract in Sprague-Dawley rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To examine the acute toxicity of an aqueous extract of Aspidopterys obcordata(A. obcordata) in Sprague Dawley rats.METHODS: The rats were orally administered a dose of 5000 mg/kg body weight and observed continuously for 6 h and then daily for 14 days. Control rats were administered distilled water. The effect of the extract on general behavior, body weight, and food and water intake were measured.After 14 days, the rats were sacrificed and their organs(liver, heart, spleen, lungs, kidney, adrenal glands, ovaries, and testes) were removed for macroscopic examination. The body and organ weights in addition to hematology(e.g., hemoglobin and white blood cell counts) and clinical blood biochemistry(e.g., albumin and bilirubin) were also examined.RESULTS: There were no deaths recorded, and the rats treated with A. obcordata showed no signs of toxicity. All measured parameters in rats treated with A. obcordata were unaffected when compared with those in control rats. | 19 | Experiment and simulation study of emergency evacuation during violent attack in classrooms显示文摘In recent years,as a disaster,terrorist attacks have occurred throughout the world.However,emergency evac-uation behaviors during these incidents were not clear,and the traditional emergency plans were not suitable for such incidents.In this paper,evacuation behaviors under armed assault attack in a classroom were studied based on evacuation experiments.A total of 103 participants took part in three experiments.In each experiment,the attacker’s attacking route was set differently to study the impact of the attacking route on evacuation be-haviors.Pre-evacuation delay,panic of the evacuees,exit choices,evacuation time,and evacuees’trajectories in the experiments were all analyzed.The results of the experiments showed that when a terrorist attack occurs,there is a long delay before evacuation,and most of the evacuees were in the state of“observation”before they moved.When one of the participants started to evacuate or shout,other participants would begin to recognize the danger and escape quickly.These three experiments showed that the route of the attacker had a significant impact on the routes and exit choices of the evacuees.Rather than searching for the nearest exit,the primary purpose of evacuees was to keep a safe distance from the attacker.The average speed of the evacuees in these three experiments was 1.07 m/s,0.81 m/s,and 0.84 m/s,respectively.The density distribution during the crowd evacuation process was uneven,with the highest density occurring at the area from the seats to the aisles.The research can provide data support for the design of emergency plans and the computer simulation of the armed assault attack. | Ning Ding Yihang Ma Dapeng Dong Yadi Wang | 2021 | Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,4: | 2 |
| 20 | Nicotinamide mononucleotide supplementation improves the quality of porcine oocytes under heat stress显示文摘Background:Elevated ambient temperature-caused heat stress is a major concern for livestock production due to its negative impact on animal feed intake,growth,reproduction,and health.Particularly,the germ cells are extremely sensitive to the heat stress.However,the effective approach and strategy regarding how to protect mammalian oocytes from heat stress-induced defects have not been determined.Methods:Germinal vesicle(GV)porcine oocytes were cultured at 41.5℃ for 24 h to induce heat stress,and then cultured at 38.5℃ to the specific developmental stage for subsequent analysis.Nicotinamide mononucleotide(NMN)was dissolved in water to 1 mol/L for a stock solution and further diluted with the maturation medium to the final concentrations of 10μmol/L,20μmol/L,50μmol/L or 100μmol/L,respectively,during heat stress.Immunostaining and fluorescence intensity quantification were applied to assess the effects of heat stress and NMN supplementation on the key processes during the oocyte meiotic maturation.Results:Here,we report that NMN supplementation improves the quality of porcine oocytes under heat stress.Specifically,we found that heat stress resulted in oocyte maturation failure by disturbing the dynamics of meiotic organelles,including the cytoskeleton assembly,cortical granule distribution and mitochondrial function.In addition,heat stress induced the production of excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)and DNA damage,leading to the occurrence of apoptosis in oocytes and subsequent embryonic development arrest.More importantly,we validated that supplementation of NMN during heat stress restored the meiotic defects during porcine oocyte maturation.Conclusions:Taken together,our study documents that NMN supplementation is an effective approach to improve the quality of oocytes under heat stress by promoting both nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation. | Meijie Song Yu Li Yihang Zhou Jiner Yan Xiaohua Zhou Qian Gao Yilong Miao Bo Xiong | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,5: | 2 |
