| 1 | CXCL5/CXCR2 axis in tumor microenvironment as potential diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target显示文摘The components of the tumor microenvironment(TME)in solid tumors,especially chemokines,are currently attracting much attention from scientists.C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 5(CXCL5)is one of the important chemokines in TME.Over-expression of CXCL5 is closely related to the survival time,recurrence and metasta-sis of cancer patients.In TME,CXCL5 binds to its receptors,such as C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 2(CXCR2),to participate in the recruitment of immune cells and promote angiogenesis,tumor growth,and metastasis.The CXCL5/CXCR2 axis can act as a bridge between tumor cells and host cells in TME.Blocking the trans-mission of CXCL5/CXCR2 signals can increase the sensitivity and effectiveness of immunotherapy and slow down tumor progression.CXCL5 and CXCR2 are also regarded as biomarkers for predicting prognosis and molecular targets for customiz-ing the treatment.In this review,we summarized the current literature regarding the biological functions and clinical significance of CXCL5/CXCR2 axis in TME.The possibility to use CXCL5 and CXCR2 as potential prognostic biomarkers and thera-peutic targets in cancer is also discussed. | Wen Zhang Huishan Wang Mingyang Sun Xueting Deng Xueru Wu Yilan Ma Mengjing Li Said Maisam Shuoa Qiang You Lin Miao | 2020 | Cancer Communications2020,40,2: | 19 |
| 2 | COVID-19: Challenges to GIS with Big Data显示文摘The outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)has caused more than 100,000 people infected and thousands of deaths.Currently,the number of infections and deaths is still increasing rapidly.COVID-19 seriously threatens human health,production,life,social functioning and international relations.In the fight against COVID-19,Geographic Information Systems(GIS)and big data technologies have played an important role in many aspects,including the rapid aggregation of multi-source big data,rapid visualization of epidemic information,spatial tracking of confirmed cases,prediction of regional transmission,spatial segmentation of the epidemic risk and prevention level,balancing and management of the supply and demand of material resources,and socialemotional guidance and panic elimination,which provided solid spatial information support for decision-making,measures formulation,and effectiveness assessment of COVID-19 prevention and control.GIS has developed and matured relatively quickly and has a complete technological route for data preparation,platform construction,model construction,and map production.However,for the struggle against the widespread epidemic,the main challenge is finding strategies to adjust traditional technical methods and improve speed and accuracy of information provision for social management.At the data level,in the era of big data,data no longer come mainly from the government but are gathered from more diverse enterprises.As a result,the use of GIS faces difficulties in data acquisition and the integration of heterogeneous data,which requires governments,businesses,and academic institutions to jointly promote the formulation of relevant policies.At the technical level,spatial analysis methods for big data are in the ascendancy.Currently and for a long time in the future,the development of GIS should be strengthened to form a data-driven system for rapid knowledge acquisition,which signifies ts that GIS should be used to reinforce the social operation parameterization of models and methods,especially when providing support for social management. | Chenghu Zhou Fenzhen Su Tao Pei An Zhang Yunyan Du Bin Luo Zhidong Cao Juanle Wang Wen Yuan Yunqiang Zhu Ci Song Jie Chen Jun Xu Fujia Li Ting Ma Lili Jiang Fengqin Yan Jiawei Yi Yunfeng Hu Yilan Liao Han Xiao | 2020 | Geography and Sustainability2020,1,1: | 13 |
| 3 | Trends in geographical disparities for cervical cancer mortality in China from 1973 to 2013:a subnational spatio-temporal study显示文摘Objective: This study was designed to explore the time trends in geographical variations of cervical cancer mortality in China's Mainland over the period 1973 to 2013,to provide subnational spatio-temporal patterns for targeted promotion of human papillomavirus vaccine in China.Methods: Data were extracted from three national retrospective death surveys and cancer registry.The rate ratio(RR) was estimated for the aggregated data for seven geographical regions using generalized linear models to evaluate time trends in geographical disparities of cervical cancer mortality.Results: There was a significant decrease in cervical cancer mortality in China from 1973–1975 to 2004–2005,but leveled off thereafter to 2011–2013.Compared to the period 1973–1975 the RR for the three last time periods were 0.33 [95% confidence interval(95% CI): 0.30–0.37] for 1990–1992,0.21(95% CI: 0.19–0.24) for 2004–2005 and 0.24(95% CI: 0.22–0.26) for 2011–2013.Females living in the Northwest China and Central China have a high risk of mortality from cervical cancer compared to the nationwide,with the RR being 2.09(95% CI:1.83–2.38) and 1.26(95% CI: 1.11–1.44) respectively,while the RRs for South China,Northeast China and Southwest China were below 1.00,indicating the lower death risk.Despite the mortality rate had increased slightly from 2004 to 2013,there was an encouraging sign that the geographical disparities in cervical cancer mortality had gradually narrowed over time across China.Conclusions: Although cervical cancer mortality in China has reduced to very low levels,the high risk of cervical cancer in Northwest China and Central China is still noteworthy.Public health policies including the promotion of vaccine should be targeted to further reduction of geographical disparities in cervical cancer mortality. | Changfa Xia Chao Ding Rongshou Zheng Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Jinfeng Wang Yilan Liao Ningxu Zhang Zhixun Yang Wanqing Chen | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,6: | 13 |
| 4 | Theoretical model for loads prediction on shield tunneling machine with consideration of soil-rock interbedded ground显示文摘The loads acting on shield tunneling machines are basic parameters for the equipment design as well as key control parameters throughout the entire operation of the equipment. In the study, a mechanical analysis for the coupled interactive system between the cutterhead and the ground at the excavation face is conducted. The normal and tangential loads acting on the cutterhead are decoupled and solved, with consideration of the influence of three key factors on loads: geological condition, operating status and equipment structure. Then analytical expressions for the thrust and the torque acting on the equipment under uniform geological condition are established. On this basis, the impact of soil-rock interbedded ground on acting loads is further considered. A theoretical model for loads prediction of earth pressure balance (EPB) shield machines working under soil-rock interbedded ground is proposed. This model is subsequently applied to loads prediction for a shield tunneling project under soil-rock interbedded ground. The computational value of the thrust and the torque, the measured loads and the load ranges from Krause empirical formula are compared. | 5 | Recovering REEs from NdFeB wastes with high purity and efficiency by leaching and selective precipitation process with modified agents显示文摘A leaching and selective precipitation approach is proposed in this work to recover rare earth elements(REEs) from NdFeB magnet wastes collected from industry. Hydrochloric acid and oxalic acid were employed as the leaching and precipitation agents, respectively. Hexamethylenetetramine(HMTA) or tartaric acid was used as the chelating agent during leaching. Both leaching and precipitation processes were optimized individually. For leaching process, the effects of two different chelating agents, the concentrations of leaching agent, chelating agent, and temperature on the extraction and recovery yields were investigated. The optimized process based on the factorial experiment was determined to be the hydrochloric acid concentration of 6 mol/L, the tartaric acid concentration of 50 g/L, and the temperature of 313 K, by which the extraction yields of Fe and REEs up to 67.99% and 99.27%, respectively, are obtained. For the precipitation process, the optimized oxalic acid dosage and pH value were also determined. The produced RE oxide products have the purity and recovery yield up to 95.83% and 90.18%,respectively. The data are processed to obtain water column images. Anomalous water column images, displaying plume characteristics, are found in gas hydrate enriched areas in the Taixinan Basin.This indicates the presence of natural gas resources in the Taixinan Basin. | 7 | Serum ficolin-2 concentrations are significantly changed in patients with hepatitis B virus infection and liver diseases显示文摘Human ficolin-2 is an important lectin complement pathway activator that is secreted from liver cells and has been implicated as an anti-infection innate immune molecule. However, the role of ficolin-2 protein and its dynamic changes over the course of and in the prognosis of chronic hepatitis B(CHB) and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) remain unclear. In this study, we analyzed ficolin-2 protein expression in a cohort of individuals with CHB infection, HCC and cirrhosis. A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method was used to measure serum ficolin-2 concentrations. Ficolin-2 expression in liver tissues was detected by immunohistochemical staining. Serum ficolin-2 concentrations in CHB patients were significantly higher than in healthy controls and HBV carriers. After 48 weeks of routine amelioration liver function treatment, serum ficolin-2 concentrations decreased and were positively correlated with favorable alanine aminotransferase(ALT), HBV DNA and HBe Ag-seroconversion outcomes. Interestingly, we observed much lower expression of serum and intrahepatic ficolin-2 in HCC and cirrhosis compared with healthy controls. | 9 | Epidemiological features of four human plague cases in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China in 2019显示文摘This study aims to investigate cases of human plague in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (IMAR), China, and to inform the development of plague prevention and control strategies. On 12th of November 2019, two herdsmen from Sunitezuo Banner, Xilingol League were diagnosed with pneumonic plague in Beijing, China. On November 16th, one resident of Xianghuang Banner, Xilingol League was diagnosed with bubonic plague in Huade County Hospital, Ulanqab, China. On 27th of November, one resident of Siziwang Banner was diagnosed with bubonic plague. In total, 78 close contacts were monitored over a period, but none of them developed symptoms. Plague outbreaks in animals had been reported in Sunitezuo Banner, Xianghuang Banner, and Siziwang Banner in 2019. Two of the four cases were related (husband and wife), but not the other two. All the cases may be associated with contact with rodents (hare) or infected fleas. The cases highlight the importance of early identification of plague cases in humans in order to stop further infection. | 16 | In situ method for stress measurements in film-substrate electrodes during electrochemical processes:key role of softening and stiffening显示文摘Electrode stress is one of the main driving forces of electrochemical degradation,which is directly related to battery cycle life,thus attracting great interest.Herein,we propose an in situ method to measure bilayer stresses in film-substrate electrodes during electrochemical processes.This method consists of two parts:stress models featuring Li-dependent material modulus and in situ deformation measurements,through which electrode bilayer stresses evolution accompanied by Li-dependent material modulus can be quantitatively characterized.As application of the method,typical silicon-composite and carbon-composite film-substrate electrodes are selected for in situ mechanical measurements and experimental analysis is performed.Results show that silicon material and carbon material exhibit significant,continuous softening and stiffening,respectively.In two film-substrate electrodes,electrode material films experience compressive stress and current collector substrates undergo a tensile-to-compressive conversion across the thickness.Besides,moduli and stresses in both electrodes vary nonlinearly with capacity,presenting non-overlapping paths between lithiation and delithiation.Based on experimental data,we further demonstrate the key role of Li-dependent modulus on electrode stresses,finding that silicon material softening decreases and carbon material stiffening increases electrode stresses.The deficiencies of current stress measurement method based on Stoney equation and the applicability of our method are discussed. | Haimei Xie Yilan Kang Haibin Song Jiangang Guo Qian Zhang | 2020 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2020,36,6: | 1 |
