1CXCL5/CXCR2 axis in tumor microenvironment as potential diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target显示文摘The components of the tumor microenvironment(TME)in solid tumors,especially chemokines,are currently attracting much attention from scientists.C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 5(CXCL5)is one of the important chemokines in TME.Over-expression of CXCL5 is closely related to the survival time,recurrence and metasta-sis of cancer patients.In TME,CXCL5 binds to its receptors,such as C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 2(CXCR2),to participate in the recruitment of immune cells and promote angiogenesis,tumor growth,and metastasis.The CXCL5/CXCR2 axis can act as a bridge between tumor cells and host cells in TME.Blocking the trans-mission of CXCL5/CXCR2 signals can increase the sensitivity and effectiveness of immunotherapy and slow down tumor progression.CXCL5 and CXCR2 are also regarded as biomarkers for predicting prognosis and molecular targets for customiz-ing the treatment.In this review,we summarized the current literature regarding the biological functions and clinical significance of CXCL5/CXCR2 axis in TME.The possibility to use CXCL5 and CXCR2 as potential prognostic biomarkers and thera-peutic targets in cancer is also discussed.Wen Zhang Huishan Wang Mingyang Sun Xueting Deng Xueru Wu Yilan Ma Mengjing Li Said Maisam Shuoa Qiang You Lin Miao 2020Cancer Communications2020,40,2:19

3Underwater three-dimensional imaging using narrowband MIMO array显示文摘To obtain high cross-range resolution, the underwater 3-D acoustic imaging system usually requires a rectangular array with a great number of sensors and a large physical size. To reduce the sensor number and the array physical size simultaneously, this paper proposes a new underwater 3-D acoustic imaging approach based on a novel multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) array. Specifically, the MIMO array is composed of four uniform linear arrays (ULAs) located on four sides of a rectangle. The transmitting array composed of two ULAs is located on a pair of opposite sides, and the receiving array composed of another two ULAs is located on the other two sides. Furthermore, narrowband waveforms coded with orthogonal polyphase sequences are employed as transmitting waveforms. When the subcode numbers in the polyphase coded sequences are sufficient, the MIMO array has the same 3-D imaging ability as a rectangular array, which has a two-time bigger size than that of the former. Consequently, the MIMO array can not only save a great number of sensors, but halve the array size, when compared to a rectangular array with the same cross-range resolution. 4A wave of Foxp3^(+) regulatory T cell accumulation in the neonatal liver plays unique roles in maintaining self-tolerance显示文摘Newborn animals require tightly regulated local and systemic immune environments to govern the development and maturation of multiple organs/tissues even though the immune system itself is far from mature during the neonatal period.Regulatory T cells(Tregs)are essential for maintaining immune tolerance/homeostasis and modulating inflammatory responses.The features of Tregs in the neonatal liver under steady-state conditions are not well understood.The present study aimed to investigate the phenotype,functions,and significance of neonatal Tregs in the liver.We found a wave of thymus-derived Treg influx into the liver during 1–2 weeks of age.Depletion of these Tregs between days 7 and 11 after birth rapidly resulted in Th1-type liver inflammation and metabolic disorder.More Tregs in the neonatal liver than in the spleen underwent MHC II-dependent activation and proliferation,and the liver Tregs acquired stronger suppressive functions.The transcriptomic profile of these neonatal liver Tregs showed elevated expression of PPARγand T-bet and features of Tregs that utilize lipid metabolic machinery and are capable of regulating Th1 responses.The accumulation of Tregs with unique features in the neonatal liver is critical to ensure self-tolerance and liver maturation.Mingyang Li Weijia Zhao Yifan Wang Lixue Jin Gaowen Jin Xiuyuan Sun Wei Wang Ke Wang Xi Xu Jie Hao Rong Jin Wenxian Fu Ying Sun Yingjun Chang Xiaojun Huang Xuyu Zhou Hounan Wu Kunshan Zhang Qing Ge 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,5:4
5Characteristics of Shale Reservoir and Sweet Spot Identification of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in Northwestern Hunan Province, China显示文摘The accumulation and productivity of shale gas are mainly controlled by the characteristics of shale reservoirs;study of these characteristics forms the basis for the shale gas exploitation of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation(Fm),Southern China.In this study,core observation and lithology study were conducted along with X-ray diffraction(XRD)and electronic scanning microscopy(SEM)examinations and liquid nitrogen(N2)adsorption/desorption and CH4 isothermal adsorption experiments for several exploration wells in northwestern Hunan Province,China.The results show that one or two intervals with high-quality source rocks(TOC>2 wt%)were deposited in the deep-shelf facies.The source rocks,which were mainly composed of carbonaceous shales and siliceous shales,had high quartz contents(>40 wt%)and low clay mineral(<30 wt%,mainly illites)and carbonate mineral(<20 wt%)contents.The SEM observations and liquid nitrogen(N2)adsorption/desorption experiments showed that the shale is tight,and nanoscale pores and microscale fractures are well developed.BJH volume(VBJH)of shale ranged from 2.144×10^-3 to 20.07×10^-3 cm^3/g,with an average of 11.752×10^-3 cm3/g.Pores mainly consisted of opened and interconnected mesopores(2–50 nm in diameter)or macropores(>50 nm in diameter).The shale reservoir has strong adsorption capacity for CH4.The Langmuir volume(VL)varied from 1.63 to 7.39 cm^3/g,with an average of 3.95 cm^3/g.The characteristics of shale reservoir are controlled by several factors:(1)A deep muddy continental shelf is the most favorable environment for the development of shale reservoirs,which is controlled by the development of basic materials.(2)The storage capacity of the shale reservoir is positively related to the TOC contents and plastic minerals and negatively related to cement minerals.(3)High maturity or overmaturity leads to the growth of organic pores and microfractures,thereby improving the reservoir storage capacity.It can be deduced that the high percentage of residual gas in Niutitang Fm results from the strong reservoir storage capacity of adsorbed gas.Two layers of sweet spots with strong storage capacity of free gas,and they are characterized by the relatively high TOC contents ranging from 4 wt%to 8 wt%.QIN Mingyang CAO Zheng GUO Jianhua HUANG Yanran SUN Lianpu DONG Li 2019Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,3:3
6Distribution characteristics and its controlling factor of lacustrine high-quality source rocks in the Bozhong sag,Bohai Bay Basin显示文摘Distribution of Paleogene lacustrine high-quality source rocks in the Bozhong sag in Bohai Bay Basin is analyzed through data of geochemistry,geology and well logging,and its differences under the control of climate and tectonics is also well discussed.Distribution characteristics of the high-quality source rocks developed in the saline environment controlled by the climate are quite different from that developed in the rapid subsidence environment controlled by tectonics.The high-quality source rocks in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation developed in the saline environment account for 81.9%of total subsag area,and are distributed widely and extensively.The high-quality source rocks in Member 3 of Shahejie Formation and Member 3 of Dongying Formation is developed in the tectonic subsidence environment,and horizontally,the subsag subsidence rates has a positive correlation with the area proportion of the high-quality source rocks in the sag;vertically,the reduction-oxidation interface of the lake controls the enrichment of highquality source rocks.Controlled by the saline environment and rapid subsidence environment,the highquality source rocks in the Bozhong sag and adjacent areas have three types of development condition:the saline water,the tectonic subsidence,and joint control of the saline water and the tectonic subsidence.The humid climate and low subsidence rate are not favorable for development of high-quality source rocks.Hefeng Sun Lifang Liu Xue Jiang Shengbing Huang Mingyang Geng Shaoping Chen Nan Li Pu Shen 2019Petroleum Research2019,4,3:3
7Detection of Asymptomatic Carotid Artery Stenosis in High-Risk Individuals of Stroke Using a Machine-Learning Algorithm显示文摘Objective Asymptomatic carotid stenosis(ACS)is closely associated to the incidence of severe cerebrovascular diseases.Early identifying the individuals with ACS and its associated risk factors could be beneficial for primary prevention of stroke.This study aimed to investigate a machine-learning algorithm for the detection of ACS among high-risk population of stroke based on the associated risk factors.Methods A novel model of machine learning was utilized to screen the associated predictors of ACS based on 30 potential risk factors.The algorithm of this model adopted a random forest pattern based on the training data and then was verified using the testing data.All of the original data were retrieved from the China National Stroke Screening and Prevention Project(CNSSPP),including demographic,clinical and laboratory characteristics.The individuals with high risk of stroke were enrolled and randomly divided into a training group and a testing group at a ratio of 4:1.The identification of carotid stenosis by carotid artery duplex scans was set as the golden standard.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and the area under the curve(AUC)was used to evaluate the efficacy of the model in detecting ACS.Results Of 2841 high risk individual of stroke enrolled,326(11.6%)were diagnosed as ACS by ultrasonography.The top five risk fectors contributing to ACS in this model were identified as family history of dyslipidemia,high level of lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-c),low level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c),aging,and low body.Junxiong Yin Cheng Yu Lixia Wei Chuanyong Yu Hongxing Liu Mingyang Du Feng Sun Chongjun Wang Xiaoshan Wang 2020Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2020,35,4:2

13A Time-Series Analysis on the Association Between Fine Particulate Matter and Daily Mortality—Shijiazhuang City,Hebei Province,China,2015–2020显示文摘Introduction:Shijiazhuang is one of the most polluted cities in China,but few studies have investigated the acute impact of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5))on mortality in this city.We assessed associations between PM_(2.5)and cause-specific mortality during 2015 to 2020.Methods:We obtained air quality data from Shijiazhuang Ecology and Environment Bureau,meteorological data from Shijiazhuang Meteorological Bureau,and mortality data from Shijiazhuang CDC’s Cause of Death Reporting System for our analyses.We used a quasi-Poisson regression generalized additive model to assess excess risk of death for a single time-lag and for moving average time-lags of 0–7 days,stratifying by year,sex,age,and education.Results:There were 76,859 non-accidental deaths recorded in Shijiazhuang during the study period.The daily concentration of PM_(2.5)ranged from 6.3μg/m^(3)to 625.3μg/m^(3),and the annual mean concentration was 77.6μg/m^(3).Regression analysis showed that an increment of PM_(2.5)of 10μg/m^(3)in a two-day average concentration(lag01)was associated with 0.47%[95%Confidence Interval(CI):0.24%,0.70%],0.49%(95%CI:0.19%,0.79%),and 0.72%(95%CI:0.22%,1.23%)increases in non-accidental deaths,cardiovascular disease deaths,and respiratory disease deaths,respectively.With reduction of PM_(2.5)concentration,impact of PM_(2.5)on respiratory disease deaths decreased,but the impact of PM_(2.5)on total nonaccidental deaths and circulatory disease deaths did not change significantly.Conclusion:Although PM_(2.5)has been greatly reduced in recent years,PM_(2.5)pollution is still serious in Shijiazhuang.PM_(2.5)was significantly associated with non-accidental death,cardiovascular disease death,and respiratory disease death.As PM_(2.5)concentrations decreased,risk of death from respiratory diseases also decreased.Mingyang Guan Chengyao Sun Dajing Tang Hui Kang Fengge Chen 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,11:1

15African swine fever virus MGF505-3R inhibits cGAS-STING-mediated IFN-βpathway activation by degrading TBK1显示文摘African swine fever virus(ASFV)is an important pathogen causing acute infectious disease in domestic pigs and wild boars that seriously endangers the global swine industry.As ASFV is structurally complex and encodes a large number of functional proteins,no effective vaccine has been developed to date.Thus,dissecting the mechanisms of immune escape induced by ASFV proteins is crucial.A previous study showed that the ASFV-encoded protein is an important factor in host immunity.In this study,we identified a negative regulator,MGF505-3R,that significantly downregulated cGAS/STING-and poly(dG:dC)-mediated IFN-βand interferon stimulation response element(ISRE)reporter activity and suppressed IFNB1 and IFIT2 mRNA levels.In addition,TBK1,IRF3 and IκBαphosphorylation levels were also inhibited.Mechanistically,MGF505-3R interacted with cGAS/TBK1/IRF3 and targeted TBK1 for degradation,thereby disrupting the cGAS-STING-mediated IFN-βsignaling pathway,which appears to be highly correlated with autophagy.Knockdown MGF505-3R expression enhanced IFN-βand IL-1βproduction.Taken together,our study revealed a negative regulatory mechanism involving the MGF505-3R-cGAS-STING axis and provided insights into an evasion strategy employed by ASFV that involves autophagy and innate signaling pathways.Mingyang Cheng Jiawei Luo Yuetong Duan Yu Yang Chunwei Shi Yu Sun Yiyuan Lu Junhong Wang Xiaoxu Li Jianzhong Wang Nan Wang Wentao Yang Yanlong Jiang Guilian Yang Yan Zeng Chunfeng Wang Xin Cao 2022Animal Diseases2022,2,3:1

19Identification and Expression of TOP3αin Gerbera hybrida显示文摘Meiotic recombination and the resulting novel allele combinations are fundamental to plant breeding and the identification of superior hybrids.However,the rate of meiotic crossovers is naturally suppressed below its potential ability,which prevents plant breeding efficiency.Nine suppressors of meiotic recombination have been identified in the model plant Arabidopsis and in other crop species.Mutations in these genes can lead to increased recombination frequency and could therefore potentially be used to create hyper-recombinant lines for ornamental breeding.In Gerbera hybrida,the anti-crossover factors remain elusive.In this study,we isolated and cloned TOP3αfrom flower buds of G.hybrida,and it encoded 935 amino acids with three conserved domains TOPRIM,TOP1Ac and zf-GR.Moreover,TOP3αwas the highest expressed at the flower bud stage,which coincided with the occurrence of meiotic recombination,suggesting that TOP3αis associated with the regulation of meiotic recombination in G.hybrida.Shenchong Li Ying Cheng Dan Sun Lulin Ma Mingyang Li Fan Li 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,2:1
20Virtual Design on Detection System of Sitting Posture Corrector显示文摘Incorrect sitting postures in teenagers will result in myopia and hunchback. In this paper, a non-wearable posture correction system is proposed based on thin film pressure sensor. The system is designed according to human engineering and human kinematics and it includes two parts using the concept of modularization. The pressure data is collected by the thin film pressure sensors installed on the correction holder at the obviously changing points of the 8 changed sitting postures. When the data is processed by Arduino, different sitting postures will be analyzed and judged. Then the feedback mechanism of the system will send out reminders and correct the sitting posture by combing with lighting factors. At the same time, the user can monitor the sitting posture in time at the client on the mobile APP. The system can accurately indicate the change relationship between the back and shoulder in different sitting postures, and the recognition rate of all kinds of sitting postures is up to 95%, which basically enable the detection function on sitting postures. The system is simple, convenient and effective.
