| 1 | Platelets in hemostasis and thrombosis:Novel mechanisms of fibrinogen-independent platelet aggregation and fibronectin-mediated protein wave of hemostasis显示文摘Platelets are small anucleate cells generated from megakaryocytes in the bone marrow.Although platelet generation,maturation,and clearance are still not fully understood,significant progress has been made in the last 1-2 decades.In blood circulation,platelets can quickly adhere and aggregate at sites of vascular injury,forming the platelet plug(i.e.the first wave of hemostasis).Activated platelets can also provide negatively charged phosphatidylserinerich membrane surface that enhances cell-based thrombin generation,which facilitates blood coagulation(i.e.the second wave of hemostasis).Platelets therefore play central roles in hemostasis.However,the same process of hemostasis may also cause thrombosis and vessel occlusion,which are the most common mechanisms leading to heart attack and stroke following ruptured atherosclerotic lesions.In this review,we will introduce the classical mechanisms and newly discovered pathways of platelets in hemostasis and thrombosis,including fibrinogen-independent platelet aggregation and thrombosis,and the plasma fibronectin-mediated 'protein wave' of hemostasis that precedes the classical first wave of hemostasis.Furthermore,we briefly discuss the roles of platelets in inflammation and atherosclerosis and the potential strategies to control atherothrombosis. | Yan Hou Naadiya Carrim Yiming Wang Reid C.Gallant Alexandra Marshall Heyu Ni | 2015 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2015,29,6: | 21 |

| 3 | A Real-time Monitoring System Based on ZigBee and 4G Communications for Photovoltaic Generation显示文摘A novel real-time monitoring system for photovoltaic(PV)generation is presented in this paper.Internet of Things(IoT)integrated with cloud servers and terminal applications allow the remote monitoring of centralized or distributed pho-tovoltaic systems.The proposed system could realize the net-working communication of multiple nodes based on ZigBee,and upload the operational data to the cloud server via a 4G communications network.Then,the server selects three-phase current as the sample sets from the uploaded data to set up a composite current characteristic combining wavelet packet en-ergy with waveform parameter,and establishes a fault diagnosis model based on the probabilistic neural network to analyze the health status of the PV inverter online.This method requires little sampling frequency without an extra signal and saves the cost of local devices by placing online diagnostics on the server-side.In addition,the user could query and store the running information of the PV systems through the personal computer-side web or mobile phone with remote control.This article presents the hardware design of ZigBee and the 4G module,and composition of the diagnosis model for open circuit failure of the PV inverter through the cloud server,building the user software at the application layer.The final experimental results show that the proposed system has better communication performance and higher diagnostic accuracy in real-time monitoring. | Kun Xia Jiawen Ni Yanhong Ye Po Xu Yiming Wang | 2020 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,1: | 2 |

| 6 | Crowd Counting for Real Monitoring Scene显示文摘Crowd counting is a challenging task in computer vision as realistic scenes are al?ways filled with unfavourable factors such as severe occlusions, perspective distortions and di?verse distributions. Recent state-of-the-art methods based on convolutional neural network (CNN) weaken these factors via multi-scale feature fusion or optimal feature selection through a front switch-net. L2 regression is used to regress the density map of the crowd, which is known to lead to an average and blurry result, and affects the accuracy of crowd count and po?sition distribution. To tackle these problems, we take full advantage of the application of gen?erative adversarial networks (GANs) in image generation and propose a novel crowd counting model based on conditional GANs to predict high-quality density maps from crowd images. Furthermore, we innovatively put forward a new regularizer so as to help boost the accuracy of processing extremely crowded scenes. | 8 | Anti-Interference Low-Power Double-Edge Triggered Flip-Flop Based on C-Elements显示文摘When the input signal has been interfered and glitches occur,the power consumption of Double-Edge Triggered Flip-Flops(DETFFs)will significantly increase.To effectively reduce the power consumption,this paper presents an anti-interference low-power DETFF based on C-elements.The improved C-element is used in this DETFF,which effectively blocks the glitches in the input signal,prevents redundant transitions inside the DETFF,and reduces the charge and discharge frequencies of the transistor.The C-element has also added pull-up and pull-down paths,reducing its latency.Compared with other existing DETFFs,the DETFF proposed in this paper only flips once on the clock edge,which greatly reduces the redundant transitions caused by glitches and effectively reduces power consumption.This paper uses HSPICE to simulate the proposed DETFF and other 10 DETFFs.The findings show that compared with the other 10 types of DETFFs,the proposed DETFF has achieved large performance indexes in the total power consumption,total power consumption with glitches,delays,and power delay product.A detailed analysis of variance indicates that the proposed DETFF features less sensitivity to process,voltage,temperature,and Negative Bias Temperature Instability(NBTI)-induced aging variations. | Zhengfeng Huang Xiao Yang Tai Song Haochen Qi Yiming Ouyang Tianming Ni Qi Xu | 2022 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,1: | 0 |

| 10 | Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment confers resistance to neonatal ischemia and hypoxia:effects on neurobehavioral phenotypes显示文摘Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain injury is the main cause of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and cerebral palsy.Currently,there are few effective clinical treatments for neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain injury.Here,we investigated the neuroprotective and molecular mechanisms of exogenous nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide,which can protect against hypoxic injury in adulthood,in a mouse model of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain injury.In this study,nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(5 mg/kg)was intraperitoneally administered 30 minutes befo re surgery and every 24 hours thereafter.The results showed that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment improved body weight,brain structure,adenosine triphosphate levels,oxidative damage,neurobehavioral test outcomes,and seizure threshold in experimental mice.Tandem mass tag proteomics revealed that numerous proteins were altered after nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment in hypoxic-ischemic brain injury mice.Parallel reaction monitoring and western blotting confirmed changes in the expression levels of proteins including serine(or cysteine)peptidase inhibitor,clade A,member 3N,fibronectin 1,5'-nucleotidase,cytosolic IA,microtubule associated protein 2,and complexin 2.Proteomics analyses showed that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide ameliorated hypoxic-ischemic injury through inflammation-related signaling pathways(e.g.,nuclear factor-kappa B,mitogen-activated protein kinase,and phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase/protein kinase B).These findings suggest that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment can improve neurobehavioral phenotypes in hypoxic-ischemic brain injury mice through inflammation-related pathways. | Xiaowen Xu Xinxin Wang Li Zhang Yiming Jin Lili Li Meifang Jin Lianyong Li Hong Ni | 2024 | Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,12: | 0 |
| 11 | Ancestral function but divergent epigenetic regulation of HAIKU2 reveals routes of seed developmental evolution显示文摘Evolution is driven by various mechanisms.A directional increase in the embryo to endosperm ratio is an evolutionary trend within the angiosperms.The endosperm constitutes a major portion of the seed volume in Poales and some dicots.However,in other dicots such as Arabidopsis and soybean,the endosperm proliferates early,followed by embryo growth to replace the endosperm.The Arabidopsis leucine-rich repeat receptor protein kinase AtHAIKU2(AtIKU2)is a key regulator of early endosperm proliferation.In this study,we found that IKU2s from Brachypodium,rice,and soybean can complement the abnormal seed developmental phenotype of Atiku2,while AtIKU2 also rescues the defective endosperm proliferation in the Brachypodium BdIKU2 knockout mutant seeds.AtIKU2 and soybean GmIKU2 are actively expressed a few days after fertilization.Thereafter,expression of AtIKU2 is suppressed by the FIS-PRC2 complex-mediated H3K27me3.The soybean GmIKU2 locus is also enriched with H3K27me3 marks.The histone methyltransferase AtMEA is unique to Brassicaceae,but one GmSWN in soybean plays a similar role in seed development as AtMEA.By contrast,the BdIKU2 and rice OsIKU2 loci are continuously expressed and are devoid of H3K27me3 marks.Taken together,these results suggest that IKU2 genes retain an ancestral function,but the duration of their expression that is controlled by PRC2-mediated epigenetic silencing contributes to silenced or persistent endosperm proliferation in different species.Our study reveals an epigenetic mechanism that drives the development of vastly different seed ontogenies. | Di Wu Yiming Wei Xiangyu Zhao Boka Li Huankai Zhang Gang Xu Juntong Lv Dajian Zhang Xiansheng Zhang Min Ni | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,10: | 0 |
