| 1 | Theoretical prediction on thermal and mechanical properties of high entropy(Zr(0.2)Hf(0.2)Ti(0.2)Nb(0.2)Ta(0.2))C by deep learning potential显示文摘High entropy materials(HEMs, e.g. high entropy alloys, high entropy ceramics) have gained increasing interests due to the possibility that they can provide challenge properties unattainable by traditional materials. Though a large number of HEMs have emerged, there is still in lack of theoretical predictions and simulations on HEMs, which is probably caused by the chemical complexity of HEMs. In this work,we demonstrate that the machine learning potentials developed in recent years can overcome the complexity of HEMs, and serve as powerful theoretical tools to simulate HEMs. A deep learning potential(DLP) for high entropy(Zr(0.2) Hf(0.2) Ti(0.2) Nb(0.2) Ta(0.2))C is fitted with the prediction error in energy and force being 9.4 me V/atom and 217 me V/?, respectively. The reliability and generality of the DLP are affirmed,since it can accurately predict lattice parameters and elastic constants of mono-phase carbides TMC(TM = Ti, Zr, Hf, Nb and Ta). Lattice constants(increase from 4.5707 ? to 4.6727 ?), thermal expansion coefficients(increase from 7.85×10-6 K^(-1) to 10.58×10-6 K^(-1)), phonon thermal conductivities(decrease from 2.02 W·m-1·K^(-1) to 0.95 W·m-1·K^(-1)), and elastic properties of high entropy(Zr(0.2) Hf(0.2) Ti(0.2) Nb(0.2) Ta(0.2))C in temperature ranging from 0°C to 2400°C are predicted by molecular dynamics simulations. The predicted room temperature properties agree well with experimental measurements, indicating the high accuracy of the DLP. With introducing of machine learning potentials, many problems that are intractable by traditional methods can be handled now. | 3 | Wearable skin-like optoelectronic systems with suppression of motion artifacts for cuff-less continuous blood pressure monitor显示文摘According to the statistics of the World Health Organization,an estimated 17.9 million people die from cardiovascular diseases each year,representing 31%of all global deaths.Continuous non-invasive arterial pressure(CNAP)is essential for the management of cardiovascular diseases.However,it is difficult to achieve long-term CNAP monitoring with the daily use of current devices due to irritation of the skin as well as the lack of motion artifacts suppression.Here,we report a high-performance skin-like optoelectronic system integrated with ultra-thin flexible circuits to monitor CNAP.We introduce a theoretical model via the virtual work principle for predicting the precise blood pressure and suppressing motion artifacts,and propose optical difference in the frequency domain for stable optical measurements in terms of skin-like devices.We compare the results with the blood pressure acquired by invasive(intra-arterial)blood pressure monitoring for>1500 min in total on 44 subjects in an intensive care unit.The maximum absolute errors of diastolic and systolic blood pressure were±7/±10 mm Hg,respectively,in immobilized,and±10/±14 mm Hg,respectively,in walking scenarios.These strategies provide advanced blood pressure monitoring techniques,which would directly address an unmet clinical need or daily use for a highly vulnerable population. | Haicheng Li Yinji Ma Ziwei Liang Zhouheng Wang Yu Cao Yuan Xu Hua Zhou Bingwei Lu Ying Chen Zhiyuan Han Shisheng Cai Xue Feng | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,5: | 7 |

| 5 | Review on flexible photonics/electronics integrated devices and fabrication strategy显示文摘In recent years, to meet the greater demand for next generation electronic devices that are transplantable, lightweight and portable, flexible and large-scale integrated electronics attract much more attention have been of interest in both industry and academia. Organic electronics and stretchable inorganic electronics are the two major branches of flexible electronics. With the semiconductive and flexible properties of the organic semiconductor materials, flexible organic electronics have become a mainstay of our technology.Compared to organic electronics, stretchable and flexible inorganic electronics are fabricated via mechanical design with inorganic electronic components on flexible substrates, which have stretchability and flexibility to enable very large deformations without degradation of performance. This review summarizes the recent progress on fabrication strategies, such as hydrodynamic organic nanowire printing and inkjet-assisted nanotransfer printing of flexible organic electronics, and screen printing, soft lithography and transfer printing of flexible inorganic electronics. | 7 | Temperature Dependent Thermal and Elastic Properties of High Entropy(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2):Molecular Dynamics Simulation by Deep Learning Potential显示文摘High entropy diborides are new categories of ultra-high temperature ceramics,which are believed promising candidates for applications in hypersonic vehicles.However,knowledge on high temperature thermal and mechanical properties of high entropy diborides is still lacking unit now.In this work,variations of thermal and elastic properties of high entropy(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2) with respect to temperature were predicted by molecular dynamics simulations.Firstly,a deep learning potential for Ti-Zr-Hf-Nb-Ta-B diboride system was fitted with its prediction error in energy and force respectively being 9.2 meV/atom and 208 meV/A,in comparison with first-principles calculations.Then,temperature dependent lattice constants,anisotropic thermal expansions,anisotropic phonon thermal conductivities,and elastic properties of high entropy(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2) from 0℃to 2400℃were evaluated,where the predicted room temperature values agree well with experimental measurements.In addition,intrinsic lattice distortions of(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2) were analyzed by displacements of atoms from their ideal positions,which are in an order of 10^(-3) A and one order of magnitude smaller than those in(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))C.It indicates that lattice distortions in(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2) is not so severe as expected.With the new paradigm of machine learning potential,deep insight into high entropy materials can be achieved in the future,since the chemical and structural complexly in high entropy materials can be well handled by machine learning potential. | Fu-Zhi Dai Yinjie Sun Bo Wen Huimin Xiang Yanchun Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,13: | 6 |
| 8 | A flexible skin-mounted wireless acoustic device for bowel sounds monitoring and evaluation显示文摘Conventional methods of intestinal inspection play an essential role in the assessment of bowel diseases and other relevant health issues, yet fail to obtain intestinal conditions in real time because of radiation limits and operation inconvenience. Herein, a flexible, skin-mounted device is developed for longterm, real-time monitoring, and for the evaluation of bowel sounds based on the integration of a threedimensional printed elastomeric resonator with flexible electronics. The device is capable of being flexibly attached to abdominal surfaces without performance degradation during breathing. Clinical tests conduct in a normal volunteer and in patients with mechanical intestinal obstruction or paralytic ileus illustrate the usefulness of the device in capturing the characteristics of bowel sounds. | 9 | Traditional Chinese Medicine etiology and pathogenesis of acquired immune deficiency syndrome in simian immunodeficiency virus-infected Chinese rhesus macaques显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) etiology and pathogenesis of acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS) by 18-month observation of Chinese rhesus macaques infected with simian immunodeficiency virus(SIV) mac 239.METHODS:Thirty-five healthy Chinese rhesus macaques were divided into a model group(n=30) and a control group(n=5).The model was established by inoculating monkeys intravenously with SIVmac 239.Changes in TCM symptoms after SIV infection within 18 months were then observed and recorded.Routine blood tests,SIV viral load,T-lymphocyte subsets,plasma triiodothyronine(T3),tetraiodothyronine(T4),adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH) and cortisol(Cor) were tested periodically during the experiment.RESULTS:During the acute infection period of SIV,model monkeys temporarily showed clinical symptoms such as diarrhea,dysphoria and slight weight loss.Decrease percentages of CD4+ T-lymphocytes were observed but levels of T3,T4,Cor,and ACTH were relatively unchanged.Monkeys in the model group during the early and middle periods of infection showed no obvious symptoms,except few monkeys exhibited transient diarrhea and reduced food intake.All variables at this stage showed normal fluctuations.In the middle period model group monkeys showed chronic and persistent diarrhea,weight loss,reduced food intake and low levels of T3 and Cor.In the late period,symptoms including emaciation,weight loss,listlessness,crouching in corners and low levels of T3 appeared.CONCLUSION:The results suggest that the rhesus monkey SIV/SAIDS model can be applied to research on TCM etiology and pathogenesis of AIDS.According to this model,the etiology of disease is the SIV virus.The pathogenesis manifests as the invasion of SIV virus,incubation of the virus,balance between virus and healthy 'Qi',damage to spleen and kidney as the disease progressed,exhaustion of vitality and finally the failure of five zang and six fu organs. | Maoqing Li Linchun Fu Yinjie Hu Miaomiao Zhang Jinyang He Zhixi Chen Jinyan Chen | 2012 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4: | 5 |

| 12 | The chromosome-level Stevia genome provides insights into steviol glycoside biosynthesis显示文摘Stevia(Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni)is well known for its very sweet steviol glycosides(SGs)consisting of a common tetracyclic diterpenoid steviol backbone and a variable glycone.Steviol glycosides are 150–300 times sweeter than sucrose and are used as natural zero-calorie sweeteners.However,the most promising compounds are biosynthesized in small amounts.Based on Illumina,PacBio,and Hi-C sequencing,we constructed a chromosome-level assembly of Stevia covering 1416 Mb with a contig N50 value of 616.85 kb and a scaffold N50 value of 106.55 Mb.More than four-fifths of the Stevia genome consisted of repetitive elements.We annotated 44,143 high-confidence protein-coding genes in the high-quality genome.Genome evolution analysis suggested that Stevia and sunflower diverged~29.4 million years ago(Mya),shortly after the whole-genome duplication(WGD)event(WGD-2,~32.1 Mya)that occurred in their common ancestor.Comparative genomic analysis revealed that the expanded genes in Stevia were mainly enriched for biosynthesis of specialized metabolites,especially biosynthesis of terpenoid backbones,and for further oxidation and glycosylation of these compounds.We further identified all candidate genes involved in SG biosynthesis.Collectively,our current findings on the Stevia reference genome will be very helpful for dissecting the evolutionary history of Stevia and for discovering novel genes contributing to SG biosynthesis and other important agronomic traits in future breeding programs. | Xiaoyang Xu Haiyan Yuan Xiaqing Yu Suzhen Huang Yuming Sun Ting Zhang Qingquan Liu Haiying Tong Yongxia Zhang Yinjie Wang Chunxiao Liu Lei Wu Menglan Hou Yongheng Yang | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 2 |

| 19 | M2M’AlB4(M = Mn, Fe, Co, M’ = Cr, Mo, W): Theoretical predicted ordered MAB phases with Cr3AlB4 crystal structure显示文摘The nanolaminated MAB phases have attracted great research interests due to their unusual combination of metal-like and ceramic-like properties, which is similar to MAX phases. Recently, ordered quaternary MAX phases have been discovered, which enriches the family of MAX phases, and opens a new window to tailor the properties of MAX phases and to develop new MXenes. In the present work, we explored possible ordered quaternary MAB phases with Cr3AlB4 structure(space group: Pmmm) by first-principles calculations. The predictions show that M2M’AlB4 phases with M = Mn, Fe, Co and M’ = Cr, Mo, W exhibit strong tendency of ordering, where M locates at 2t site(0.5, 0.5, z2t) and M’ locates at 1 g site(0, 0.5,0.5). The main driving force of ordering may be the differences in bonding strengths between Al and M elements. Analyses on chemical bonds reveal that bonding strengths increase following the order:Al-Mn < Al-Fe < Al-Co, which is consistent with the prediction that ordering tendency increases when M changes from Mn to Co, as derived from enthalpy differences.
