| 1 | Erianin,a novel dibenzyl compound in Dendrobium extract,inhibits lung cancer cell growth and migration via calcium/calmodulin-dependent ferroptosis显示文摘Ferroptosis,a novel form of programmed cell death,is characterized by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation and has been shown to be involved in multiple diseases,including cancer.Stimulating ferroptosis in cancer cells may be a potential strategy for cancer therapy.Therefore,ferroptosis-inducing drugs are attracting more attention for cancer treatment.Here,we showed that erianin,a natural product isolated from Dendrobium chrysotoxum Lindl,exerted its anticancer activity by inducing cell death and inhibiting cell migration in lung cancer cells.Subsequently,we demonstrated for the first time that erianin induced ferroptotic cell death in lung cancer cells,which was accompanied by ROS accumulation,lipid peroxidation,and GSH depletion.The ferroptosis inhibitors Fer-1 and Lip-1 but not Z-VAD-FMK,CQ,or necrostatin-1 rescued erianin-induced cell death,indicating that ferroptosis contributed to erianin-induced cell death.Furthermore,we demonstrated that Ca^(2+)/CaM signaling was a critical mediator of erianin-induced ferroptosis and that blockade of this signaling significantly rescued cell death induced by erianin treatment by suppressing ferroptosis.Taken together,our data suggest that the natural product erianin exerts its anticancer effects by inducing Ca^(2+)/CaMdependent ferroptosis and inhibiting cell migration,and erianin will hopefully serve as a prospective compound for lung cancer treatment. | Peng Chen Qibiao Wu Jiao Feng Lili Yan Yitian Sun Shuiping Liu Yu Xiang Mingming Zhang Ting Pan Xiaying Chen Ting Duan Lijuan Zhai Bingtao Zhai Wengang Wang Ruonan Zhang Bi Chen Xuemeng Han Yicong Li Liuxi Chen Ying Liu Xingxing Huang Ting Jin Wenzheng Zhang Hong Luo Xiaohui Chen Yongqiang Li Qiujie Li Guohua Li Qin Zhang Lvjia Zhuo Zuyi Yang Huifen Tang Tian Xie Xiaoping Ouyang Xinbing Sui | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 42 |

| 5 | Effect of potential HONO sources on peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)formation in eastern China in winter显示文摘As an important secondary photochemical pollutant,peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)has been studied over decades,yet its simulations usually underestimate the corresponding observations,especially in polluted areas.Recent observations in north China found unusually high concentrations of PAN during wintertime heavy haze events,but the current model still cannot reproduce the observations,and researchers speculated that nitrous acid(HONO)played a key role in PAN formation.For the first time we systematically assessed the impact of potential HONO sources on PAN formation mechanisms in eastern China using the Weather Research and Forecasting/Chemistry(WRF-Chem)model in February of 2017.The results showed that the potential HONO sources significantly improved the PAN simulations,remarkably accelerated the RO x(sum of hydroxyl,hydroperoxyl,and organic peroxy radicals)cycles,and resulted in 80%–150%enhancements of PAN near the ground in the coastal areas of eastern China and 10%–50%enhancements in the areas around 35–40°N within 3 km during a heavy haze period.The direct precursors of PAN were aldehyde and methylglyoxal,and the primary precursors of PAN were alkenes with C>3,xylenes,propene and toluene.The above results suggest that the potential HONO sources should be considered in regional and global chemical transport models when conducting PAN studies. | Jingwei Zhang Yitian Guo Yu Qu Yong Chen Ruipeng Yu Chaoyang Xue Rui Yang Qiang Zhang Xingang Liu Yujing Mu Jing Wang Can Ye Haihan Zhao Qiangqiang Sun Ziwen Wang Junling An | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8: | 3 |

| 13 | Simulation-Guided Design of Bamboo Leaf-Derived Carbon-Based High-Efficiency Evaporator for Solar-Driven Interface Water Evaporation显示文摘Solar interface water evaporation has been demonstrated to be an advanced method for freshwater production with high solar energy utilization.The development of evaporators with lower cost and higher efficiency is a key challenge in the manufacture of practical solar interface water evaporation devices.Herein,a bamboo leaf-derived carbon-based evaporator is designed based on the light trace simulation.And then,it is manufactured by vertical arrangement and carbonization of bamboo leaves and subsequent polyacrylamide modification.The vertically arranged carbon structure can extend the light path and increase the light-absorbing area,thus achieving excellent light absorption.Furthermore,the continuous distribution of polyacrylamide hydrogel between these vertical carbons can support high-speed water delivery and shorten the evaporation path.Therefore,this evaporator exhibits an ultrahigh average light absorption rate of~96.1%,a good water evaporation rate of 1.75 kg m^(-2) h^(-1),and an excellent solar-to-vapor efficiency of 91.9%under one sun irradiation.Furthermore,the device based on this evaporator can effectively achieve seawater desalination,heavy metal ion removal,and dye separation while completing water evaporation.And this device is highly available for actual outdoor applications and repeated recycling. | Yitian Wu Rui Kong Chaoliang Ma Lanze Li Yu Zheng Yingzhuo Lu Lulu Liang Yajun Pang Qiang Wu Zhehong Shen Hao Chen | 2022 | Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,4: | 1 |

| 16 | Nanofriction characteristics of h-BN with electric field induced electrostatic interaction显示文摘The nanofriction properties of hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)are vital for its application as a substrate for graphene devices and solid lubricants in micro-and nano-electromechanical devices.In this work,the nanofriction characteristics of h-BN on Si/SiO_(2) substrates with a bias voltage are explored using a conductive atomic force microscopy(AFM)tip sliding on the h-BN surface under different substrate bias voltages.The results show that the nanofriction on h-BN increases with an increase in the applied bias difference(V_(t–s))between the conductive tip and the substrate.The nanofriction under negative V_(t–s) is larger than that under positive V_(t–s).The variation in nanofriction is relevant to the electrostatic interaction caused by the charging effect.The electrostatic force between opposite charges localized on the conductive tip and at the SiO2/Si interface increases with an increase in V_(t–s).Owing to the characteristics of p-type silicon,a positive V_(t–s) will first cause depletion of majority carriers,which results in a difference of nanofriction under positive and negative V_(t–s).Our findings provide an approach for manipulating the nanofriction of 2D insulating material surfaces through an applied electric field,and are helpful for designing a substrate for graphene devices. | Kemeng YU Kun ZOU Haojie LANG Yitian PENG | 2021 | Friction2021,9,6: | 0 |
| 17 | Profiling seed soluble sugar compositions in 1164 Chinese soybean accessions from major growing ecoregions显示文摘Soluble sugar is a key quality trait of soybean seeds.We developed rapid and economic extraction and quantification methods for seed soluble sugars using an ultra-high performance liquid chromatography system with a refractive index detector.We evaluated the soluble sugar compositions of 1164 soybean accessions collected from diverse ecoregions and grown in multiple locations and years.Total soluble sugar(TSS)content was influenced by accession type,year of cultivation,and ecoregion.The mean contents of fructose,glucose,sucrose,raffinose,stachyose and TSS were 3.31,5.21,55.60,6.60,35.47,and 106.19 mg g^(-1),respectively.The highest mean TSS content(108.71 mg g^(-1)) was observed in accessions from Northern Region of China.Cultivars contained higher contents of sucrose,raffinose,and TSS,whereas landraces had a higher content of stachyose.Fourteen accessions with mean TSS contents>130 mg g^(-1) were identified as elite soybean resources.TSS was correlated with sucrose,raffinose,stachyose,protein,oil and total tocopherol.The main soluble sugar components were correlated with latitude and longitude,indicating that the geographical origin of the accessions affected their seed soluble sugar compositions.The developed methods and elite identified accessions can be used in the food and feed industry and in soybean breeding programs aimed at improving soybean seed nutrition. | Jie Qi Shengrui Zhang Muhammad AzamAbdul wahab S.Shaibu Ahmed M.Abdelghany Yue Feng Yuanyuan HuaiHuoyi Feng Yitian Liu Caiyou Ma Berhane S.Gebregziabher Suprio Ghosh Jing Li Deyue Yu Bin Li Lijuan Qiu Junming Sun | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,6: | 0 |
| 18 | Assessment of residual chlorine in soil microbial community using metagenomics显示文摘Chlorine-containing disinfectants have been widely used around the world for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.However,at present,little is known about the impact of residual chlorine on the soil micro-ecological environment.Herein,we treated an experimental soil-plant-microbiome microcosm system by continuous irrigation with a low concentration of chlorine-containing water,and then analyzed the influence on the soil microbial community using metagenomics.After 14-d continuous chlorine treatment,there were no significant lasting effect on soil microbial community diversity and composition either in the rhizosphere or in bulk soil.Although metabolic functions of the rhizosphere microbial community were affected slightly by continuous chlorine treatment,it recovered to the original status.The abundance of several resistance genes changed by 7 d and recovered by 14 d.According to our results,the chlorine residue resulting from daily disinfection may present a slight long-term effect on plant growth(shoot length and fresh weight)and soil micro-ecology.In general,our study assisted with environmental risk assessments relating to the application of chlorine-containing disinfectants and minimization of risks to the environment during disease control,such as COVID-19. | Yitian Yu Qi Zhang Zhenyan Zhang Nuohan Xu Yan Li Mingkang Jin Guoqiang Feng Haifeng Qian Tao Lu | 2023 | Soil Ecology Letters2023,5,1: | 0 |

| 20 | Microbiome and metabolome dysbiosis analysis in impaired glucose tolerance for the prediction of progression to diabetes mellitus显示文摘Gut microbiota and circulating metabolite dysbiosis predate important pathological changes in glucose metabolic disorders;however,comprehensive studies on impaired glucose tolerance(IGT),a diabetes mellitus(DM)precursor,are lacking.Here,we perform metagenomic sequencing and metabolomics on 47 pairs of individuals with IGT and newly diagnosed DM and 46 controls with normal glucose tolerance(NGT);patients with IGT are followed up after 4 years for progression to DM.Analysis of baseline data reveals significant differences in gut microbiota and serum metabolites among the IGT,DM,and NGT groups.In addition,13 types of gut microbiota and 17 types of circulating metabolites showed significant differences at baseline before IGT progressed to DM,including higher levels of Eggerthella unclassified,Coprobacillus unclassified,Clostridium ramosum,L-valine,L-norleucine,and L-isoleucine,and lower levels of Eubacterium eligens,Bacteroides faecis,Lachnospiraceae bacterium 3_1_46FAA,Alistipes senegalensis,Megaspaera elsdenii,Clostridium perfringens,α-linolenic acid,10E,12Z-octadecadienoic acid,and dodecanoic acid.A random forest model based on differential intestinal microbiota and circulating metabolites can predict the progression from IGT to DM(AUC=0.87).These results suggest that microbiome and metabolome dysbiosis occur in individuals with IGT and have important predictive values and potential for intervention in preventing IGT from progressing to DM. | Boxun Zhang Xuan Zhang Zhen Luo Jixiang Ren Xiaotong Yu Haiyan Zhao Yitian Wang Wenhui Zhang Weiwei Tian Xiuxiu Wei Qiyou Ding Haoyu Yang Zishan Jin Xiaolin Tong Jun Wang Linhua Zhao | 2024 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2024,51,1: | 0 |
