1Resveratrol provides neuroprotection by regulating the JAK2/STAT3/PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway after stroke in rats显示文摘Ischemic stroke is a common disease with high mortality and morbidity worldwide.One of the important pathophysiological effects of ischemic stroke is apoptosis.A neuroprotective effect is defined as the inhibition of neuronal apoptosis to rescue or delay the infarction in the surviving ischemic penumbra.Resveratrol is a natural polyphenol that reportedly prevents cerebral ischemia injury by regulating the expression of PI3K/AKT/mTOR.Therefore,this study aimed to elucidate the neuroprotective effect of resveratrol on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury and to investigate the signaling pathways and mechanisms through which resveratrol regulates apoptosis in the ischemic penumbra.Rats were subjected to middle cerebral artery occlusion for 2 h followed by 24 h reperfusion.Cerebral infarct volume was measured using 2%TTC staining.TUNEL staining was conducted to evaluate neuronal apoptosis.Western blotting and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the proteins involved in the JAK2/STAT3/PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway.The results suggested that resveratrol significantly improved neurological function,reduced cerebral infarct volume,decreased neuronal damage,and markedly attenuated neuronal apoptosis;these effects were attenuated by the inhibition of PI3K/AKT with LY294002 and JAK2/STAT3 with AG490.We also found that resveratrol significantly upregulated the expression of p-JAK2,p-STAT3,p-AKT,p-mTOR,and BCL-2 and downregulated expression of cleaved caspase-3 and BAX,which was partially reversed by LY294002 and AG490.These results suggested that resveratrol provides a neuroprotective effect against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury,which is partially mediated by the activation of JAK2/STAT3 and PI3K/AKT/mTOR.Resveratrol may indirectly upregulate the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway by activating JAK2/STAT3.Yongying Hou Ke Wang Weijun Wan Yue Cheng Xia Pu Xiufeng Ye 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,3:60
2Adsorptive desulfurization over hierarchical beta zeolite by alkaline treatment显示文摘Hierarchical beta zeolites with SiO2 /Al2O3 molar ratios of 16 to 25 were obtained by alkaline treatment in NaOH solution. The effects of treatment temperature on crystallinity, textural properties and chemical composites were studied by XRD, N2 sorption, FT-IR and XRF techniques. The desulfurization performance of parent and alkaline-treated beta zeolites was investigated by static absorption in four model fuels, containing four sulfur compounds of different molecular sizes like thiophene (TP), 3-methylthiophene (3-MT), benzothiophene (BT) and dibenzothiophene (DBT), respectively. The crystallinity was observed to be successfully maintained when the treatment temperature was below 50 C. Mesoporosity of beta zeolite was evidently developed with alkaline treatment. The formation of mesopore remarkably improved the desulfurization performance for TP, 3-MT, BT and DBT, especially for DBT with larger molecular diameter. Though the addition of toluene in the model fuels resulted in a significant drop of the desulfurization performance of mesoporous beta zeolite, the introduction of cerium ions to some extent mitigated the effect of toluene, which means that both the adsorbents porous structure and the adsorption mode are responsible for the desulfurization performance. 3Recent progress of advanced anode materials of lithium-ion batteries显示文摘The rapid development of electric vehicles and mobile electronic devices is the main driving force to improve advanced high-performance lithium ion batteries(LIBs).The capacity,rate performance and cycle stability of LIBs rely directly on the electrode materials.As far as the development of the advanced LIBs electrode is concerned,the improvement of anode materials is more urgent than the cathode materials.Industrial production of anode materials superior to commercial graphite still faces some challenges.This review sets out the most basic LIBs anode material design.The reaction principles and structural design of carbon materials,various transition metal oxides,silicon and germanium are summarized,and then the progress of other anode materials are analyzed.Due to the rapid development of metal organic frameworks(MOFs)in energy storage and conversion in recent years,the synthesis process and energy storage mechanism of nanostructures derived from MOF precursors are also discussed.From the perspective of novel structural design,the progress of various MOFs-derived materials for alleviating the volume expansion of anode materials is discussed.Finally,challenges for the future development of advanced anode materials for LIBs will be considered.Hui Cheng Joseph G.Shapter Yongying Li Guo Gao 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:10
4Effects of toluene on thiophene adsorption over NaY and Ce(IV)Y zeolites显示文摘Zeolites NaY and Ce(IV)Y were employed as adsorbents to remove organic sulfur compounds from model gasoline(MG) solutions with and without toluene in static adsorption experiments at room temperature(RT) and atmospheric pressure.The adsorbents were characterized by XRD,XRF and pyridine infrared spectrum(IR).The adsorption experiments show that the desulfurization performance of Ce(IV)Y is much better than that of NaY.The sulfur removal over both NaY and Ce(IV)Y decreases with the increase of toluene concentration in MG,however,the decline tendency on Ce(IV)Y is smooth,and it is steep on NaY.FT-IR spectra of thiophene adsorption indicate that thiophene molecules are mainly adsorbed on NaY via π electron interaction,but on Ce(IV)Y,in addition to the π electron interaction,both Ce4+-S direct interaction and protonation of thiophene also play important roles.Toluene molecules are adsorbed on NaY also via π electron interaction.Although the amount of Brnsted acid sites is increased due to the introduction of Ce4+ ions into NaY zeolite,it is not found to influence the adsorption mode of toluene over Ce(IV)Y.Compared with NaY zeolite,the improved desulfurization performance over Ce(IV)Y for removing organic sulfur compounds from MG solution,especially those containing large amount of aromatics,may be ascribed to the direct Ce(IV)-S interaction,which is much resistant to the influence resulted from toluene adsorption.Yanchun Shi Xiaojian Yang Fuping Tian Cuiying Jia Yongying Chen 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,4:9

6The generation of PD-L1 and PD-L2 in cancer cells: From nuclear chromatin reorganization to extracellular presentation显示文摘The immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)targeting on PD-1/PD-L1 has shown remarkable promise in treating cancers.However,the low response rate and frequently observed severe side effects limit its broad benefits.It is partially due to less understanding of the biological regulation of PD-L1.Here,we systematically and comprehensively summarized the regulation of PD-L1 from nuclear chromatin reorganization to extracellular presentation.In PD-L1 and PD-L2 highly expressed cancer cells,a new TAD(topologically associating domain)(chr9:5,400,000-5,600,000)around CD274 and CD273 was discovered,which includes a reported super-enhancer to drive synchronous transcription of PD-L1 and PD-L2.The re-shaped TAD allows transcription factors such as STAT3 and IRF1 recruit to PD-L1 locus in order to guide the expression of PD-L1.After transcription,the PD-L1 is tightly regulated by mi RNAs and RNA-binding proteins via the long 3’UTR.At translational level,PD-L1 protein and its membrane presentation are tightly regulated by post-translational modification such as glycosylation and ubiquitination.In addition,PD-L1 can be secreted via exosome to systematically inhibit immune response.Therefore,fully dissecting the regulation of PD-L1/PD-L2 and thoroughly detecting PD-L1/PD-L2 as well as their regulatory networks will bring more insights in ICB and ICB-based combinational therapy.Zhiwei Fan Changyue Wu Miaomiao Chen Yongying Jiang Yuanyuan Wu Renfang Mao Yihui Fan 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,3:4
