1Addition of hydrogen peroxide for the simultaneous control of bromate and odor during advanced drinking water treatment using ozone显示文摘Complete removal of the characteristic septic/swampy odor from Huangpu River source water could only be achieved under an ozone dose as high as 4.0 mg/L in an ozone-biological activated carbon(O3-BAC) process, which would lead to the production of high concentrations of carcinogenic bromate due to the high bromide content. This study investigated the possibility of simultaneous control of bromate and the septic/swampy odor by adding H2O2 prior to the O3-BAC process for the treatment of Huangpu River water. H2O2 addition could reduce the bromate concentration effectively at an H2O2/O3(g/g) ratio of 0.5 or higher. At the same time, the septic/swampy odor removal was enhanced by the addition of H2O2, although optimization of the H2O2/O3 ratio was required for each ozone dose. At an ozone dose of 2.0 mg/L, the odor was removed completely at an H2O2/O3 ratio of 0.5. 2Characterization of disinfection byproduct formation potential in 13 source waters in China显示文摘The formation potential of four trihalomethanes (THMFP) and seven haloacetic acids (HAA 7 FP) in 13 source waters taken from four major water basin areas in China was evaluated using the simulated distribution system (SDS) chlorination method.The specific ultraviolet absorbance (SUVA 254:the ratio of UV 254 to dissolved organic carbon (DOC)),which ranged between 0.9 and 5.0 L/(mg·m),showed that the organic compounds in different source waters exhibited different reactivities with chlorine.The HAA 7 FP of source waters ranged from 20 to 448 μg/L and the THMFP ranged from 29 to 259 μg/L.The HAA 7 FP concentrations were higher than the THMFP concentrations in all but one of the samples.Therefore,the risks of haloacetic acids (HAAs) should be of concern in some source waters.TCM (chloroform) and BDCM (bromodichloromethane) were the major THM constituents,while TCAA (trichloroacetic acid) and DCAA (dichloroacetic acid) were the major HAA species.Br-THM (brominated THM species) were much higher than BrHAA (brominated HAA species),and the formation of Br-DBP (Br-THM and Br-HAA) should be of concern when the bromide concentration is over 100 μg/L.Junzhi Zhang Jianwei Yu Wei An Juan Liu Yongjing Wang Youjun Chen Jia Tai Min Yang 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,2:13
3Advanced oxidation of bromide-containing drinking water: A balance between bromate and trihalomethane formation control显示文摘Addition of H2O2 has been employed to repress bromate formation during ozonation of bromide-containing source water.However,the addition of H2O2 will change the oxidation pathways of organic compounds due to the generation of abundant hydroxyl radicals,which could afect the removal efcacy of trihalomethane precursors via the combination of ozone and biological activated carbon(O3-BAC).In this study,we evaluated the efects of H2O2 addition on bromate formation and trihalomethane formation potential(THMFP)reduction during treatment of bromide-containing(97.6–129.1μg/L)source water by the O3-BAC process.At an ozone dose of 4.2 mg/L,an H2O2/O3(g/g)ratio of over 1.0 was required to maintain the bromate concentration below 10.0μg/L,while a much lower H2O2/O3ratio was sufcient for a lower ozone dose.An H2O2/O3(g/g)ratio below 0.3 should be avoided since the bromate concentration will increase with increasing H2O2 dose below this ratio.However,the addition of H2O2 at an ozone dose of 3.2 mg/L and an H2O2/O3 ratio of 1.0 resulted in a 43% decrease in THMFP removal when compared with the O3-BAC process.The optimum H2O2/O3(g/g) ratio for balancing bromate and trihalomethane control was about 0.7–1.0.Fractionation of organic materials showed that the addition of H2O2 decreased the removal efcacy of the hydrophilic matter fraction of DOC by ozonation and increased the reactivity of the hydrophobic fractions during formation of trihalomethane,which may be the two main reasons responsible for the decrease in THMFP reduction efcacy.Overall,this study clearly demonstrated that it is necessary to balance bromate reduction and THMFP control when adopting an H2O2 addition strategy.Yongjing Wang Jianwei Yu Po Han Jing Sha Tao Li Wei An Juan Liu Min Yang 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,11:9
4Analysis of combustion instability via constant volume combustion in a LOX/RP-1 bipropellant liquid rocket engine显示文摘Turbulent two-phase reacting flow in the chamber of LOX/RP-1 bipropellant liquid rocket engine is numerically investigated in this paper. The predicted pressure and mean axial velocity are qualitatively consistent with the experimental measurements. The self-excited pressure oscillations are obtained without any disturbance introduced through the initial and boundary conditions. It is found that amount of abrupt pressure peaks appear frequently and stochastically in the head regions of the chamber, which are the important sources to drive and strengthen combustion instability. Such abrupt pressures are induced by local constant volume combustion, because local combustible gas mixtures with high temperature are formed and burnt out suddenly due to some fuel droplets reaching their critical state in a rich oxygen surrounding. A third Damkhler number is defined as the ratio of the characteristic time of a chemical reaction to the characteristic time of a pressure wave expansion to measure the relative intensity of acoustic propagation and combustion process in thrusters. The analysis of the third Damkhler number distributions in the whole thrust chamber shows that local constant volume combustion happens in the head regions, while constant pressure combustion presents in the downstream regions. 5Design of Irregular QC-LDPC Code Based Multi-Level Coded Modulation Scheme for High Speed Optical Communication Systems显示文摘In this paper, we focus on the design of irregular QC-LDPC code based multi-level coded modulation(MLCM) scheme by jointly optimizing the component code rate and the degree distribution of the irregular QC-LDPC component code. Firstly, the sub-channel capacities of MLCM systems is analyzed and discussed, based on which the optimal component code rate can be obtained. Secondly, an extrinsic information transfer chart based two-stage searching algorithm is proposed to find the good irregular QC-LDPC code ensembles with optimal component code rates for their corresponding sub-channels. Finally, by constructing the irregular QC-LDPC component codes from the designed ensembles with the aim of possibly enlarging the girth and reducing the number of the shortest cycles, the designed irregular QC-LDPC code based 16QAM and 64QAM MLCM systems can achieve 0.4 dB and 1.2 dB net coding gain, respectively, compared with the recently proposed regular QC-LDPC code based 16QAM and 64QAM MLCM systems.Liqian Wang Dongdong Wang Yongjing Ni Xue Chen Midou Cui Fu Yang 2019China Communications2019,16,5:7
6Holistic Service-Based Architecture for Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network for 5G-Advanced and Beyond显示文摘The Service-based Architecture(SBA) is one of the key innovations of 5G architecture that leverage modularized, self-contained and independent services to provide flexible and cloud-native 5G network. In this paper, SBA for Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network(SAGIN) is investigated to enable the 5G integration deployment. This paper proposes a novel Holistic Service-based Architecture(H-SBA)for SAGIN of 5G-Advanced and beyond, i.e., 6G. The H-SBA introduces the concept of end-to-end servicebased architecture design. The 'Network Function Service', introduced in 5G SBA, is extended from Control Plane to User Plane, from core network to access network. Based on H-SBA, the new generation of protocol design is proposed, which proposes to use IETF QUIC and SRv6 to substitute 5G HTTP/2.0 and GTP-U. 7Microstructures and high-temperature self-lubricating wearresistance mechanisms of graphene-modified WC–12Co coatings显示文摘To reduce the friction coefficient of cobalt-cemented tungsten carbide(WC–12Co)wear-resistant coatings,graphene was compounded into WC–12Co powder via wet ball milling and spray granulation.Selflubricating and wear-resistant graphene coatings were prepared via detonation gun spraying.The presence,morphologies,and phase compositions of graphene in the powders and coatings that are obtained through different powder preparation processes were analyzed.The analysis was performed using the following technologies:energy-dispersive X-ray-spectroscopy(EDXS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and Raman spectroscopy.The mechanical properties of the coatings were studied using a microhardness tester and a universal drawing machine.The friction and wear properties of the coatings were studied using an SRV-4 friction and wear tester.The results showed that the graphene content in the WC–12Co coating modified with graphene was higher than that without modification;graphene was embedded in the structure in a transparent and thin-layer state.The adhesive strength of this coating at approximately 25°C was approximately 60.33 MPa,and the hardness was approximately 984 HV0.3.After high-temperature treatment,the adhesive strength and hardness of the graphene oxide(GO)/WC–12Co coating decreased slightly(the lowest adhesive strength of 53.16 MPa was observed after treatment at 400°C,and the lowest hardness of approximately 837 HV0.3 was observed after treatment at 300°C).Compared to the friction coefficient(0.6)of the WC–12Co coating obtained at room temperature,the friction coefficient of the GO/WC–12Co coating was decreased by approximately 50%of that value.The graphene-modified coating was continuously exposed to the wear tracks on the surface of the contacting materials during friction,and a lubricating film was formed in the microareas in which the wear tracks were present.The coating exhibited improved self-lubricating and wear-resistant effects compared to the unmodified WC–12Co coating.The results of this study demonstrated that graphene could be effective in self-lubrication and wear-reduction in a temperature range of 100–200°C,as a friction coefficient of 0.3 was maintained.Haoliang TIAN Changliang WANG Mengqiu GUO Yongjing CUI Junguo GAO Zhihui TANG 2021Friction2021,9,2:4

9Quantitative analysis of magnetic anomaly of reinforcements in bored in-situ concrete piles显示文摘本文利用数值计算方法首次定量化研究了钢筋笼的磁异常场,总结了钢筋笼的磁异常特征,重点讨论了测孔方位、桩孔距、多节钢筋笼等影响因素,并为磁法检测钢筋笼提供了定量化的参考值。通过模型桩试验,验证了理论计算的正确性,并利用理论计算所得的规律合理的对实测曲线进行了解释。结果显示:数值计算和现场试验基本吻合,通过钢筋笼曲线特征可以较好的判断钢筋笼长度和配筋率变化。本文的研究完善了基于磁法的钢筋笼检测方法,并可以做进一步推广。该方法也对其他构筑物内部的配筋检测有一定的指导意义。Sun Bin Dong Ping Wang Chong Pu Xiaoxuan Wu Yongjing 2009Applied Geophysics2009,6,3:3
10Effects of three coniferous plantation species on plant-soil feedbacks and soil physical and chemical properties in semiarid mountain ecosystems显示文摘Background:Large-scale afforestation can significantly change the ground cover and soil physicochemical properties,especially the soil fertility maintenance and water conservation functions of artificial forests,which are very important in semi-arid mountain ecosystems.However,how different tree species affect soil nutrients and soil physicochemical properties after afforestation,and which is the best plantation species for improving soil fertility and water conservation functions remain largely unknown.Methods:This study investigated the soil nutrient contents of three different plantations(Larix principis-rupprechtii,Picea crassifolia,Pinus tabuliformis),soils and plant-soil feedbacks,as well as the interactions between soil physicochemical properties.Results:The results revealed that the leaves and litter layers strongly influenced soil nutrient availability through biogeochemical processes:P.tabuliformis had higher organic carbon,ratio of organic carbon to total nitrogen(C:N)and organic carbon to total phosphorus(C:P)in the leaves and litter layers than L.principis-rupprechtii or P.crassifolia,suggesting that higher C:N and C:P hindered litter decomposition.As a result,the L.principis-rupprechtii and P.crassifolia plantation forests significantly improved soil nutrients and clay components,compared with the P.tabuliformis plantation forest.Furthermore,the L.principis-rupprechtii and P.crassifolia plantation forests significantly improved the soil capacity,soil total porosity,and capillary porosity,decreased soil bulk density,and enhanced water storage capacity,compared with the P.tabuliformis plantation forest.The results of this study showed that,the strong link between plants and soil was tightly coupled to C:N and C:P,and there was a close correlation between soil particle size distribution and soil physicochemical properties.Conclusions:Therefore,our results recommend planting the L.principis-rupprechtii and P.crassifolia as the preferred tree species to enhance the soil fertility and water conservation functions,especially in semi-arid regions mountain forest ecosystems.Chun Han Yongjing Liu Cankun Zhang Yage Li Tairan Zhou Salman Khan Ning Chen Changming Zhao 2021Forest Ecosystems2021,8,1:3
11Fine-Tuned Expression of Programmed Death 1 Ligands in Mature Dendritic Cells Stimulated by CD40 Ligand is Critical for the Induction of an Efficient Tumor Specific Immune Response显示文摘During maturation,murine myeloid dendritic cells (DCs) upregulated the expressions of CD11c,CD25,CD40,CD80,CD86,MHC Ⅱ and programmed death 1 ligands 1 and 2 (PD-L1 and PD-L2). Differential expression patterns of PD-L1 and PD-L2 were found when DCs were triggered by CD40 ligand and TNF-α. PD-L1 expression was repressed and PD-L2 expression remained unchanged in mature CD40-ligated DCs,whereas TNF-α stimulated DCs kept high expression of PD-L1 and significantly enhanced PD-L2 expression on DCs. Proliferations of T lymphocytes stimulated by immature DCs were enhanced by blockade of the PD-1 and PD-1 ligand interaction. But inhibitive effects were found in T lymphocytes stimulated by CD40-ligated DCs. 12A PSO Based Multi-Domain Virtual Network Embedding Approach显示文摘This paper proposed a multi-domain virtual network embedding algorithm based on multi-controller SDN architecture. The local controller first selects candidate substrate nodes for each virtual node in the domain. Then the global controller abstracts substrate network topology based on the candidate nodes and boundary nodes of each domain, and applies Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm on it to divide virtual network requests. Each local controller then embeds the virtual nodes of the divided single-domain virtual network requests in the domain, and cooperates with other local controllers to embed the inter-domain virtual links. 14Optical Properties and Source Analysis of Aerosols over a Desert Area in Dunhuang,Northwest China显示文摘Aerosol observational data for 2012 obtained from Dunhuang Station of CARE-China(Campaign on Atmospheric Aerosol Research Network of China) were analyzed to achieve in-depth knowledge of aerosol optical properties over Dunhuang region. The results showed that the annual average aerosol optical depth(AOD) at 500 nm was 0.32 ± 0.06, and the ?ngstr?m exponent(α) was 0.73 ± 0.27. Aerosol optical properties revealed significant seasonal characteristics. Frequent sandstorms in MAM(March–April–May) resulted in the seasonal maximum AOD, 0.41 ± 0.04, and a relatively smaller αvalue, 0.44 ± 0.04. The tourism seasons, JJA(June–July–August) and SON(September–October–November) coincide with serious emissions of small anthropogenic aerosols. While in DJF(December–January–February), the composition of the atmosphere was a mixture of dust particles and polluted aerosols released by domestic heating; the average AOD and αwere 0.29 ± 0.02 and 0.66 ± 0.17, respectively. Different air masses exhibited different degrees of influence on the aerosol concentration over Dunhuang in different seasons. During MAM, ranges of AOD(0.11–1.18) and α(0.06–0.82) were the largest under the dust influence of northwest-short-distance air mass in the four trajectories. Urban aerosols transported by northwest-short-distance air mass accounted for a very large proportion in JJA and the mixed aerosols observed in SON were mainly conveyed by air masses from the west. 16Highly efficient and selective removal of low-concentration antibiotics from aqueous solution by regenerable Mg(OH)2显示文摘The prevalent presence of fluoroquinolone antibiotics in aquatic environments has attracted considerable attention because of their harmful effects on humans and the ecological environment.Magnesium hydroxide nanocrystals were found to act as a simple and effective adsorbent to remove low-concentration ciprofloxacin(CIP)in aqueous solution.The as-prepared Mg(OH)2 nanocrystals exhibited excellent CIP adsorption performance and high selectivity toward CIP molecules compared with other antibiotics or aromatics,e.g.,norfloxacin(NOR)and eosin B(EB).The adsorbent showed pH-dependent adsorption,indicating that the adsorption process is probably dominated by an electrostatic interaction mechanism.In addition,structural analysis of the adsorbent indicated that coordination and hydrogen bonding between CIP and Mg(OH)2 nanocrystal might also be involved in the adsorption process.Moreover,the adsorbent could be easily recovered by pyrolysis and hydration without significant reduction of adsorption capacity.The superior adsorption behavior of Mg(OH)2 nanocrystal indicates that it may serve as a potential adsorbent material candidate for the selective removal of CIP from aquatic environments.Yongjing Wang Jingjing Lin Yonghao Wang Zemeng Liu Jinlu Lian Minghua Liu 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,1:1
