| 1 | Poly(amide-6-b-ethylene oxide)/[Bmim][Tf2N] blend membranes for carbon dioxide separation显示文摘Poly(amide-6-b-ethylene oxide)(Pebax1657)/1-butyl-3-methylimidazo-lium bis[trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]-imide([Bmim][Tf_2N]) blend membranes with different [Bmim][Tf_2N] contents were prepared via solution casting and solvent evaporation method. The permeation properties of the blend membranes for CO_2, N_2,CH_4 and H_2 were studied, and the physical properties were characterized by differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). Results showed that [Bmim][Tf_2N] was dispersed as amorphous phase in the blend membranes, which caused the decrease of Tg(PE) and crystallinity(PA). With the addition of [Bmim][Tf_2N], the CO_2 permeability increased and reached up to approximately 286 Barrer at 40 wt%[Bmim][Tf_2N], which was nearly double that of pristine Pebax1657 membrane. The increase of CO_2 permeability may be attributed to high intrinsic permeability of [Bmim][Tf_2N], the increase of fractional free of volume(FFV) and plasticization effect. However, the CO_2 permeability reduced firstly when the [Bmim][Tf_2N]content was below 10 wt%, which may be due to that the small ions of [Bmim][Tf_2N] in the gap of polymer chain inhibited the flexibility of polymer chain; the interaction between Pebax1657 and [Bmim][Tf_2N]decreased the content of EO units available for CO_2 transport and led to a more compact structure. For Pebax1657/[Bmim][Tf_2N] blend membranes, the permeabilities of N_2, H2 and CH4decreased with the increase of feed pressure due to the hydrostatic pressure effect, while CO_2 permeability increased with the increase of feed pressure for that the CO_2-induced plasticization effect was stronger than hydrostatic pressure effect. | Yongtao Qiu Jizhong Ren Dan Zhao Hui Li Maicun Deng | 2016 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,1: | 3 |

| 3 | Ameliorative Effect of Ginsenoside RT-5 on CDDP-Induced Nephrotoxicity显示文摘The aim of this study is to explore whether RT-5, one novel active ginsenosides from Ginseng, has protective effects against cisplatin(CDDP)-induced nephrotoxicity in vivo. One model of acute renal failure induced by CDDP in rats and one model of xenograft tumors of human cervical cancer in nude mice are established. Four groups are assigned: control, CDDP, RT-5, CDDP plus RT-5, in which the RT-5 is administered via oral gavage 24 h before CDDP intraperitoneal injection. The significant increase in blood urea nitrogen and creatinine are induced by CDDP treatment at 6 mg/kg, which are attenuated by pre-treated with RT-5 at 10 mg/kg. RT-5 could ameliorate CDDP-induced morphological damages in kidney by PAS staining, and reduce tubular apoptosis evaluated by TUNEL staining. Pretreatment with RT-5 notably inhibits CDDP-induced oxidative stress in kidney tissues. Interestingly, RT-5 does not interfere with the in vivo anti-cancer effects of CDDP against the growth of xenograft tumors in nude mice. | 8 | Modulating surface cation vacancies of nickel-cobalt oxides as efficient catalysts for lithium-oxygen batteries显示文摘Rechargeable lithium-oxygen batteries(LOBs)have received incremental attention owing to their high energy density and applicability to mobile devices and electric vehicles.However,the lack of robust,low-cost,and environmentally benign bifunctional catalysts is a major impediment to the commercial application.The introduction of vacancies is one of the effective strategies to enhance the performance of cathode catalysts for lithium-oxygen batteries,but the preparation is complicated.In this work,needle-like microsphere cathode catalysts of nickel-cobalt oxide containing cationic vacancies are constructed by controlling the annealing temperature.It is demonstrated that the presence of cationic vacancies can modulate the electronic structure of the catalyst,reduce the energy barrier for the oxygen electrode re-action,meanwhile enhance the bifunctional catalytic activity.Impressively,the nickel-cobalt oxide-based LOB with cationic vacancies exhibits large specific capacity(12,205 mAh g^(-1)at 200 mA g^(-1))and good durability.This work provides worthwhile insight into the formation and catalytic enhancement mech-anism of transition metal oxide catalysts with cationic vacancies,and to some extent,the creation of efficient and low-cost oxygen electrocatalysts for LOBs. | Yuan Yang Linna Dai Jianwei Qiu Zhibiao Hu Peng Wang Yongtao Zhao Huanhuan Guo Pengchao Si Rui Song | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,8: | 0 |
