2Effects of Silver Nanoparticles on Soil Microbial Communities and Bacterial Nitrification in Suburban Vegetable Soils显示文摘Silver nanoparticles(AgNPs) are widely used antimicrobial compounds; however, they may pose a threat to non-targeted bacteria in the environment. In this study high-throughput sequencing was used to investigate the effects of different concentrations of AgNPs(10, 50, and 100 mg kg-1) on soil microbial community structure during short-term(7 d) exposure. The amounts of Acidobacteria,Actinobacteria, Cyanobacteria, and Nitrospirae significantly decreased with increasing AgNP concentration; meanwhile, several other phyla(e.g., Proteobacteria and Planctomycetes) increased and dominated. Nitrosomonas europaea, a well-characterized ammoniaoxidizing bacterium, was used to study the sensitivity of bacteria to Ag NPs and ionic silver(Ag^+). Flow cytometry was used to monitor the toxicity of low(1 mg L^(-1)), middle(10 mg L^(-1)), and high concentrations(20 mg L^(-1)) of AgNPs, as well as Ag^+(1 mg L^(-1)) released into the medium from 20 mg L^(-1) concentration of AgNPs, towards N. europaea. After 12 h of exposure, the survival rate of N. europaea treated with 1 mg L^(-1)Ag^+ was significantly lower than those treated with low(1 mg L^(-1)) and middle concentrations(10 mg L^(-1)) of AgNPs, but the survival rate in the treatment with high concentration(20 mg L^(-1)) of AgNPs was much lower. Additionally, necrosis rates were higher in the treatment with 20 mg L^(-1) AgNPs. 3Multi-scale validation strategy for satellite albedo products and its uncertainty analysis显示文摘Coarse-resolution satellite albedo products are important for climate change and energy balance research because of their capability to characterize the spatiotemporal patterns of land surface parameters at both the regional and global scales. The accuracy of coarse-resolution products is usually assessed via comparison with in situ measurements. The key issue in the comparison of remote sensing observations with in situ measurements is scaling and uncertainty. This paper presents a strategy for validating 1-km-resolution remote sensing albedo products using field measurements and high-resolution remote sensing observations. Field measurements were collected to calibrate the high-resolution(30 m) albedo products derived from HJ-1a/b images. Then, the calibrated high-resolution albedo maps were resampled(i.e., upscaled) to assess the accuracy of the coarse-resolution albedo products. The samples of field measurements and high-resolution pixels are based on an uncertainty analysis. Two types of coarse-resolution albedo datasets, from global land surface satellite(GLASS) and moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer(MODIS), are validated over the middle reaches of the Heihe River in China. The results indicate that the upscaled HJ(Huan Jing means environment in Chinese and this refers to a satellite constellation designed for environment and disaster monitoring by China) albedo, which was calibrated using field measurements, can provide accurate reference values for validating coarse-resolution satellite albedo products. 5Quantitative differential diagnosis of breasttumors using shear wave velocity and differentprobe orientations显示文摘Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the additional benefit of the difference of maximum and minimum shear wave velocity(SWV) values obtained at different probe orientations(D-value) for the differential diagnosis of breast tumors.Methods SWV(m/s) was measured in 123 breast tumors(92 benign,31 malignant) in 76 female patients with the probe placed on the transverse,longitudinal,and 45° planes.The areas under the receiver operating characteristic(AUROC) curves were compared with respect to the maximum SWV,minimum SWV,D-value,maximum SWV combined with the D-value,and minimum SWV combined with the D-value.Results There was a significant difference among the values of the maximum SWV,minimum SWV,and D-value for the 3 planes(P < 0.001).The AUROC curves for the maximum SWV,minimum SWV,and D-values of the 3 planes were 0.751(P = 0.379),0.486(P = 0.863),and 0.603(P = 0.204),respectively.The cutoff value for the maximum SWV for differentiating benign tumors from malignant tumors was 2.51 m/s(sensitivity 67%,specificity 50%).The cutoff value for the minimum SWV was 1.61 m/s(sensitivity 53%,specificity 50%).Adding the D-value increased the AUROC curve for the maximum SWV from 0.571 to 0.733 and the minimum SWV from 0.486 to 0.504(P = 0.964),respectively.Conclusion SWV differs in different planes of breast tumors.The D-value can provide a reference for the differential diagnosis of breast tumors.Yuan Huang Youbin Deng Liping Wang Xinwu Cui 2017Oncology and Translational Medicine2017,3,2:3
6A triboelectric/electromagnetic hybrid generator for efficient wind energy collection and power supply for electronic devices显示文摘Harvesting energy from ambient environment has been considered as a promising strategy for driving portable electronic devices in a sustainable way. A wind driven triboelectric-electromagnetic hybrid nanogenerator has been fabricated to convert wind energy into electricity. It is composed of an electromagnetic generator(EMG) and a triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG) with the output power of 35 and 0.32 mW, respectively when the wind speed is 5 m/s. Generally, TENG shows a low current output with a high voltage output characteristic, on the contrary the EMG shows a high current output and a low voltage output. This hybrid nanogenerator overcomes these problems and exhibits comprehensive and efficient performance on scavenging energy.Moreover, in view of the output performance and charging ability of the hybrid nanogenerator, it shows high stability, making it suitable for charging capacitors or batteries and driving portable electronics sustainably. 8声辐射力脉冲超声弹性成像对乳腺实质性病灶的诊断(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of our study was to make the qualitative and quantitative analysis to breast lesions using acoustic radiation force impulses (ARFI), and assess the diagnostic value of ARFI for differentiation between benign and malignant solid breast masses, meanwhile evaluate the influences of ARFI with breast imaging reporting and data system (BI-RADS) of suspicious masses. Methods:Seventy-five women with 86 breast lesions underwent conventional breast ultrasound examination. Then B-mode BI-RADS features and assessments were recorded and standard breast US supplemented by ARFI elastographic examination were repeated. The data were recorded and analyzed as following:area ratio of breast lesion, the shear-wave velocity, the ratio of the shear-wave velocity between lesions and surrounding normal tissues, and according to the elastographic data reconsidered the BI-RADS category, all the results have been correlated with pathological results and make statistical evaluations of ARFI for differentiation between benign and malignant solid breast masses. Meantime our study has correlated the adjusted BI-RADS category of suspicious breast lesions with the pathological results and made assessment. Results:Thirty-eight patients were malignant breast carcinoma (31 invasive ductal carcinoma, 5 intraductal carcinoma in situ, 2 medullary carcinoma, 2 invasive lobular carcinoma), 48 patients were benign breast lesions (23 fibroadenoma, 12 benign nodular hyperplasia, 5 phyllodes tumor, 6 adenosis, 2 intraductal papilloma). Underwent conventional breast ultrasound exam, 42 cases were BI-RADS category 3, 23 cases were BI-RADS category 4. When adding elastographic data, 46 cases were BI-RADS category 3 and 20 cases were BI-RADS category 4. Compared with pathological results showed for both the specificity of BIRADS features and the area under ROC curve has risen. Virtual touch tissue imaging (VTI) and virtual touch tissue quantification (VTQ) data showed the area ratio (AR) between elastographic lesions area and B-mode lesions area, SWV (maximal shear-wave velocity of lesions), R-SWV (shear-wave velocity ratio between lesions and surrounding normal tissues) in benign breast lesions were lower than those in malignant lesions which has statistical significance and the cut-off point were 1.1, 4.65 m/s, 5.18 respectively. 15Advances in the pathogenesis and clinical application prospects of tumor biomolecules in keloid显示文摘Keloid scarring is a kind of pathological healing manifestation after skin injury and possesses various tumor properties,such as the Warburg effect,epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT),expression imbalances of apoptosis-related genes and the presence of stem cells.Abnormal expression of tumor signatures is critical to the initiation and operation of these effects.Although previous experimental studies have recognized the potential value of a single or several tumor biomolecules in keloids,a comprehensive evaluation system for multiple tumor signatures in keloid scarring is still lacking.This paper aims to summarize tumor biomolecules in keloids from the perspectives of liquid biopsy,genetics,proteomics and epigenetics and to investigate their mechanisms of action and feasibility from bench to bedside.Liquid biopsy is suitable for the early screening of people with keloids due to its noninvasive and accurate performance.Epigenetic biomarkers do not require changes in the gene sequence and their reversibility and tissue specificity make them ideal therapeutic targets.Nonetheless,given the ethnic specificity and genetic predisposition of keloids,more large-sample multicenter studies are indispensable for determining the prevalence of these signatures and for establishing diagnostic criteria and therapeutic efficacy estimations based on these molecules.Yijun Xia Youbin Wang Mengjie Shan Yan Hao Hao Liu Qiao Chen Zhengyun Liang 2022Burns & Trauma2022,10,1:1

18Ultrasonographic features of breast ductalcarcinoma in situ显示文摘Objective The aims of this study were to analyze ultrasound features of breast ductal carcinoma in situ(DCIS) and to evaluate the value of ultrasonography(US) in early diagnosis of DCIS.Methods From July 2013 to March 2015,180 patients with histologically proven DCIS were evaluated.US features recorded included the size,shape,margins,internal echogenicity,microcalcifications,posterior echogenicity,and blood supply.The data were analyzed and compared with mammographic and histologic findings.Results Among 180 cases of DCIS,168 patients had positive findings on US;the lesions were divided into 3 categories:(1) hypoechoic lesions with or without microcalcifications(n=94);(2) hypoechoic dilated ducts with or without microcalcifications(n=59);(3) microcalcifications alone without any other findings(n=15).Of the 180 lesions,microcalcifications were demonstrated by mammography in 128(71%);among these 128 lesions,90 were identified with microcalcifications on US.Only 80 cases(44%) manifested as masses or asymmetric densities on mammography.The diagnostic accuracy of US and mammography was 67%(120/180) and 69%(124/180),respectively,which can be improved to 80%(144/180) if US is combined with mammography.Conclusion US can be used as an important tool in diagnosis of DCIS.The combination of US and mammography can improve the diagnostic accuracy of breast DCIS.Liping Wang Youbin Deng Xinwu Cui 2017Oncology and Translational Medicine2017,3,2:1
