1Rapid removal of bisphenol A on highly ordered mesoporous carbon显示文摘Bisphenol A (BPA) is of global concern due to its disruption of endocrine systems and ubiquity in the aquatic environment.It is important,therefore,that efforts are made to remove it from the aqueous phase.A novel adsorbent,mesoporous carbon CMK-3,prepared from hexagonal SBA-15 mesoporous silica was studied for BPA removal from aqueous phase,and compared with conventional powdered activated carbon (PAC).Characterization of CMK-3 by transmission electron microscopy (TEM),X-ray diffraction,and nitrogen adsorption indicated that prepared CMK-3 had an ordered mesoporous structure with a high specific surface area of 920 m 2 /g and a pore-size of about 4.9 nm.The adsorption of BPA on CMK-3 followed a pseudo second-order kinetic model.The kinetic constant was 0.00049 g/(mg·min),much higher than the adsorption of BPA on PAC.The adsorption isotherm fitted slightly better with the Freundlich model than the Langmuir model,and adsorption capacity decreased as temperature increased from 10 to 40°C.No significant influence of pH on adsorption was observed at pH 3 to 9;however,adsorption capacity decreased dramatically from pH 9 to 13.Qian Sui Jun Huang Yousong Liu Xiaofeng Chang Guangbin Ji Shubo Deng Tao Xie Gang Yu 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,2:8
2Effects of Straw Incorporation Methods on Nitrous Oxide and Methane Emissions from a Wheat-Rice Rotation System显示文摘The incorporation of straw with a microbial inoculant(a mixture of bacteria and fungi, designed to accelerate straw decomposition)is being increasingly adopted within the agricultural sector in China. However, its effects on N and C trace gas emissions remain unclear.We conducted a field experiment to investigate the effects of different straw incorporation methods(with and without microbial inoculant) in the wheat season on nitrous oxide(N_2O) and methane(CH_4) emissions from a wheat-rice rotation system in China.The treatments comprised N, P, and K fertilizers only(NPK), NPK plus rice straw(NPKS), NPKS plus Ruilaite microbial inoculant(NPKSR), and NPKS plus Jinkuizi microbial inoculant(NPKSJ). Rice straw incorporation before wheat sowing significantly decreased N_2O emissions during the wheat season and stimulated N_2O and CH_4 emissions during the subsequent rice season. Compared with the NPKS treatment, the NPKSR and NPKSJ treatments decreased N_2O emissions during the wheat season, but had no effect on N_2O or CH_4 emissions during the subsequent rice season. Annually, the two treatments were comparable regarding N_2O emissions.Although the global warming potentials of the NPKSR and NPKSJ treatments were lower than that of the NPKS treatment during the wheat season, no significant differences were observed during the subsequent rice season, or over the entire rotation cycle. The annual greenhouse gas intensity was slightly lower in the NPKSR and NPKSJ treatments than in the NPKS treatment. 3Variations of Stable Carbon Isotopes of CH4 Emission from Three Typical Rice Fields in China显示文摘Little is known about the stable carbon isotopes of methane(CH4) emitted(δ^(13)CH_(4emitted)) from permanently flooded rice fields and double rice-cropping fields.The CH4 emission and corresponding δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) under various field managements(mulching,water regime,tillage,and nitrogen(N) fertilization) were simultaneously measured in three typical Chinese rice fields,a permanently flooded rice field in Ziyang City,Sichuan Province,Southwest China,a double-rice cropping field in Yingtan City,Jiangxi Province,Southeast China,and a rice-wheat rotation field in Jurong City,Jiangsu Province,East China,from 2010 to 2012.Results showed different seasonal variations of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) among the three fields during the rice-growing season.The values of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) were negatively correlated with corresponding CH4 emissions in seasonal variation and mean,indicating the importance of CH_4 production,oxidation,and transport associated with isotopic fractionation effects to the δ^(13)CH_(4emitted).Seasonal variations of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) were slightly impacted by mulching cultivation,tillage,and N application,but highly controlled by drainage.Meanwhile,tillage,N application,and especially mulching cultivation had important effects on seasonal mean CH4 emissions and corresponding δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) with low emissions accompanied by high values of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted).Seasonal mean values of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) from the three fields were similar,mostly ranging from —60‰ to — 50‰,which are well in agreement with previously published data.These demonstrated that seasonal variations of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) mainly depended on the changes in CH4 emission from rice fields and further indicated the important effects of methanogenic pathways,CH4 oxidation,and CH4 transport associated with isotope fractionation effects influenced by field managements on δ^(13)CH_(4emitted).ZHANG Guangbin MA Jing YANG Yuting YU Haiyang SHI Yaping XU Hua 2017Pedosphere2017,27,1:6
4Construction of Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)nanoparticles with multiple hetero-interfaces for enhanced electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘Nanocomposites with heterogeneous structures and magneto-electric synergistic losses have broad prospects for improving electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption performance.In this study,we synthesized Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)nanoparticles with abundant hetero-interfaces and multiple magnetoelectric loss mechanisms by a facile hydrothermal method.The excess 0.5 oxygen atoms in MnCo_(2)O_(4.5) produce more vacancies and contribute to the enhancement of electrical conductivity.Sequential nanoneedle clusters facilitate multiple reflections and absorption of EMW in the materials,which are accompanied by an abundance of heterogeneous interfaces to improve the dielectric loss.The Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)composites showed a minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of30.01 dB and a superior effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 6.12 GHz(11.88 GHze18 GHz)at a thickness of 2.00 mm.Computer Simulation Technology(CST)revealed that the obtained particles show very low radar crosssection(RCS)values and almost full coverage angles.The maximum reduction of RCS at vertical incidence reaches 19.98 dB m2.The Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)nanoparticles exhibit outstanding radar attenuation properties,which can effectively inhibit the reflection and scattering of EMW.Therefore,the prepared Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)absorbers have great application potential in the field of EMW absorption.Yi Zhang Shujuan Tan Zhuoting Zhou Xiaomeng Guan Yu Liao Chen Li Guangbin Ji 2023Particuology2023,,10:5
5Heterostructure design of Fe^(3)N alloy/porous carbon nanosheet composites for efficient microwave attenuation显示文摘The self-dissipation and attenuation capacity of materials play an important role in realizing efficient electromagnetic absorption,in this case,the roles of macroscopic composition and micro-structure should be emphasized simultaneously in the reasonable design of microwave absorbent.Given that,Fe_(3)N alloy embedded in two-dimensional porous carbon composites were fabricated via facile sol-gel and sacrificial template methods.Satisfactorily,the magnetic/dielectric materials combination and porous structure introduction are conductive to the optimization of impedance matching property,as result of the enhancement of microwave absorption capacity.In addition,sufficient magnetic loss capacity,strong conductivity as well as polarization attenuation bring about the outstanding microwave absorbing performance with an effective absorption bandwidth of 6.76 GHz and a minimum reflection loss value of-65.6 d B.It is believed that this work not only lay a foundation to achieve microwave response materials in a wide frequency range,but also emphasize the significant role of the component selection and structural design.Weihua Gu Xiaoqing Cui Jing Zheng Jiwen Yu Yue Zhao Guangbin Ji 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,8:3
6Elevated atmospheric CO_(2) reduces CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions under two contrasting rice cultivars from a subtropical paddy field in China显示文摘Elevated CO_(2)(eCO_(2))and rice cultivars can strongly alter CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions from paddy fields.However,detailed information on how their interaction affects greenhouse gas fluxes in the field is still lacking.In this study,we investigated CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions and rice growth under two contrasting rice cultivars(the strongly and weakly responsive cultivars)in response to eCO_(2),200μmol mol^(-1)higher than the ambient CO_(2)(aCO_(2)),in Chinese subtropical rice systems relying on a multi-year in-situ free-air CO_(2)enrichment platform from 2016 to 2018.The results showed that compared to aCO_(2),eCO_(2)increased rice yield by 7%-31%,while it decreased seasonal cumulative CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions by 10%-59%and 33%-70%,respectively,regardless of rice cultivar.The decrease in CH_(4) emissions under eCO_(2)was possibly ascribed to the lower CH_(4)production potential(MPP)and the higher CH_(4)oxidation potential(MOP)correlated with the higher soil redox potential(Eh)and O_(2)concentration([O_(2)])in the surface soil.The mitigating effect of eCO_(2)on N_(2)O emissions was likely associated with the reduction of soil soluble N content.The strongly responsive cultivars had lower CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions than the weakly re sponsive cultivars,and the main reason might be that the former induced higher soil Eh and[O_(2)]in the surface soil and had larger plant biomass and greater N uptake.The findings indicated that breeding strongly responsive cultivars with the potential for greater rice production and lower greenhouse gas emissions is an effective agricultural practice to ensure food security and environmental sustainability under future climate change scenarios.Haiyang YU Guangbin ZHANG Jing MA Tianyu WANG Kaifu SONG Qiong HUANG Chunwu ZHU Qian JIANG Jianguo ZHU Hua XU 2022Pedosphere2022,32,5:2

13Responses of the methanogenic pathway and fraction of CH4 oxidization in a flooded paddy soil to rice planting显示文摘Rice planting(RP)is significant to methane(CH4_(4))emissions from paddy fields,but its effect on the relative contribution of the acetoclastic methanogenesis to total CH4_(4) production(F_(ac))and the fraction of CH4_(4) oxidized(Fox)is poorly understood.To quantify the responses of the F_(ac) and Fox to RP,we investigated CH4_(4) fluxes,CH4_(4) production and oxidation potentials,dissolved CH4_(4) concentrations,and their stable carbon isotopes in a flooded paddy soil.The mcrA and pmoA gene copies were also determined by quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR).Compared with the unplanted soil(control,CK),the seasonal CH4_(4) emissions from the planted soil were significantly enhanced,13.6 times,resulting in large decreases in the CH4_(4) concentrations in the soil solution.This indicated that much more CH4_(4) was released into the atmosphere by the RP than was stored in the soils.Acetoclastic methanogenesis became more important from the tillering stage(TS)to the ripening stage(RS)for the CK,with F_(ac) values increased from 17%-20% to 46%-55%.With RP,the F_(ac) values were enhanced by 10%-20%,and it significantly increased the copy numbers of the mcrA gene at the four rice stages(TS,booting stage(BS),grain-filling stage(GS),and RS).Furthermore,the effect of the RP on the abundance of the mcrA gene was highly concurrent with the effect on the F_(ac) values.At the TS,the Fox values at the soil-water interface were around 50%-75% for the CK,being 15%-20% lower than those of the RP in the rhizosphere.It increased to 65%-100% at the GS,but was reduced by 20%-30% after the RP.These differences might be because the copy numbers of the pmoA gene were significantly raised at the TS while lowered at the GS by the RP.This was further demonstrated by the strong correlations between the effect of the RP on the abundance of the pmoA gene and the effect on the Fox values.These findings suggest that RP markedly impacts on the abundances of the mcrA and pmoA genes,affecting the pathway of CH4_(4) production and the fraction of CH4_(4) oxidization,respectively.Yuting YANG Guangbin ZHANG Jing MA Qiong HUANG Haiyang YU Kaifu SONG Xiaoli ZHU Xi MIAO Hua XU 2021Pedosphere2021,31,6:1

18Calibration for GOCE Gradiometer Data Based on the Prior Gravity Models显示文摘The determination of the calibration parameters of the gravity gradiometer play an important role in the GOCE gravity gradient data processing.In this paper,the temporal signals and outliers in the GOCE gravity gradient observations are analyzed.Based on the different global gravity field models,the scale factors and biases are determined in all the components of GOCE gravity gradients.And then the accuracy of the calibration results is validated.The results indicated that the effect of the ocean tide is at mE magnitude in the measurement band,which is equivalent to the precision of the gravity gradiometer,while the effect of the non-tide temporal signals,such as terrestrial water is in the order of 10-4 E,is slightly less than that of the ocean tide.The outliers in all the gravity gradient components are larger than 0.2%.And after the calibration using global gravity field models except EGM96,the stability of scale factors in the V xx、V yy、V zz、V yz components reaches 10-4 magnitude,and the V xz component reaches 10-5 while that of the V xy component is about 10-2,which are in accordance with the accuracy differences of the gradient components.Qingliang QU Xiaotao CHANG Shengwen YU Guangbin ZHU 2019Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2019,2,4:1

20Tribological properties and tribomechanism of nickel nanoparticles in-situ synthesized in rapeseed oil显示文摘Nickel(Ni)nanoparticles can be enriched on the surface of iron-based frictional pairs,which provides the possibility to get rid of the competitive adsorption between the polar species of vegetable oil and the surface-active nano-additives thereon.In this paper,nickel acetylacetonate was used as a precursor to in-situ synthesize nickel nanoparticles with an average diameter of about 12 nm in rapeseed oil(RO)as the reducing agent,surface modifier,and solvent as well.The tribological properties of the as-synthesized Ni nanoparticles were evaluated with a four-ball tribometer,and their tribomechanism was investigated based on the characterizations of the tribofilm on rubbed steel surfaces by the scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).It was found that the Ni nanoparticles in-situ prepared in the RO with a mass fraction of 0.3%can reduce the wear scar diameter(WSD)of the steel ball by 36%.This is because,on the one hand,the Ni nanoparticles are adsorbed on the rubbed steel surfaces to repair or fill up the micro-pits and grooves thereon.On the other hand,Ni nanoparticles participate in tribochemical reactions with atmospheric O and steel substrate to form the tribochemical reaction film on the rubbed steel surfaces with the assistance of friction-induced heat and applied normal load.In addition,an amorphous carbon film is formed on the rubbed surface via the carbonization of base oil under the catalysis of Ni nanoparticles.The adsorbed Ni layer,the tribochemical reaction film,and the carbon layer comprise a composite tribofilm composed of amorphous carbon,polar fatty acid,metallic nickel,iron oxides,and nickel oxides on the rubbed steel surfaces,which contributes to significantly improving the antiwear ability and load-carrying capacity of the RO for the steel-steel sliding pair.Wenya XU Guangbin YANG Shengmao ZHANG Jun XU Yujuan ZHANG Tianhua SUN Ningning SONG Laigui YU Pingyu ZHANG 2024Friction2024,12,3:0
