1Heavy metal pollution in intertidal sediments from Quanzhou Bay, China显示文摘The concentrations of eight heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Cr, Ni, Hg, and As) in the intertidal surface sediments from Quanzhou Bay were determined to evaluate their levels and spatial distribution due to urbanization and economic development of Quanzhou region, southeast China. The ranges of the measured concentrations in the sediments are as follows: 24.8–119.7 mg/kg for Cu, 105.5–241.9 mg/kg for Zn, 34.3–100.9 mg/kg for Pb, 0.28–0.89 mg/kg for Cd, 51.1–121.7 mg/kg for Cr, 16.1–45.7 mg/kg for Ni, 0.17–0.74 mg/kg for Hg, and 17.7–30.2 mg/kg for As. The overall average concentrations of above metals exceed the primary standard criteria but meet the secondary standard criteria of the Chinese National Standard of Marine Sediment Quality. Several contents of Cu and Hg exceed the secondary standard criteria at some stations. The results of geoaccumulation index (Igeo) show that Cd causes strong pollution in most of the study area. There are no significant correlations among most of these heavy metals, indicating they have different anthropogenic and natural sources. 4Uniform analysis of a stabilized hybrid finite element method for Reissner-Mindlin plates显示文摘This paper presents a low order stabilized hybrid quadrilateral finite element method for ReissnerMindlin plates based on Hellinger-Reissner variational principle,which includes variables of displacements,shear stresses and bending moments.The approach uses continuous piecewise isoparametric bilinear interpolations for the approximations of the transverse displacement and rotation.The stabilization achieved by adding a stabilization term of least-squares to the original hybrid scheme,allows independent approximations of the stresses and moments.The stress approximation adopts a piecewise independent 4-parameter mode satisfying an accuracy-enhanced condition.The approximation of moments employs a piecewise-independent 5-parameter mode.This method can be viewed as a stabilized version of the hybrid finite element scheme proposed in [Carstensen C,Xie X,Yu G,et al.A priori and a posteriori analysis for a locking-free low order quadrilateral hybrid finite element for Reissner-Mindlin plates.Comput Methods Appl Mech Engrg,2011,200:1161-1175],where the approximations of stresses and moments are required to satisfy an equilibrium criterion.A priori error analysis shows that the method is uniform with respect to the plate thickness t.Numerical experiments confirm the theoretical results.GUO YuanHui YU GuoZhu XIE XiaoPing 2013Science China Mathematics2013,56,8:1

6Integrated computer-aided formulation design:A case study of andrographolide/cyclodextrin ternary formulation显示文摘Current formulation development strongly relies on trial-and-error experiments in the laboratory by pharmaceutical scientists,which is time-consuming,high cost and waste materials.This research aims to integrate various computational tools,including machine learning,molecular dynamic simulation and physiologically based absorption modeling(PBAM),to enhance andrographolide(AG)/cyclodextrins(CDs)formulation design.The light GBM prediction model we built before was utilized to predict AG/CDs inclusion's binding free energy.AG/γ-CD inclusion complexes showed the strongest binding affinity,which was experimentally validated by the phase solubility study.The molecular dynamic simulation was used to investigate the inclusion mechanism between AG andγ-CD,which was experimentally characterized by DSC,FTIR and NMR techniques.PBAM was applied to simulate the in vivo behavior of the formulations,which were validated by cell and animal experiments.Cell experiments revealed that the presence of D-α-Tocopherol polyethylene glycol succinate(TPGS)significantly increased the intracellular uptake of AG in MDCKMDR1 cells and the absorptive transport of AG in MDCK-MDR1 monolayers.The relative bioavailability of the AG-CD-TPGS ternary system in rats was increased to 2.6-fold and 1.59-fold compared with crude AG and commercial dropping pills,respectively.In conclusion,this is the first time to integrate various computational tools to develop a new AG-CD-TPGS ternary formulation with significant improvement of aqueous solubility,dissolution rate and bioavailability.The integrated computational tool is a novel and robust methodology to facilitate pharmaceutical formulation design.Haoshi Gao Yan Su Wei Wang Wei Xiong Xiyang Sun Yuanhui Ji Hua Yu Haifeng Li Defang Ouyang 2021Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2021,16,4:1

9Extraction of Herba Lycopi Polysaccharide and Study of Its Antioxidant Activity by Cellulase Method显示文摘[Objectives] To optimize the extraction process of Herba Lycopi polysaccharide by cellulase,and study its antioxidant activity.[Methods]The single factor test and orthogonal test were conducted to study the effect of p H,enzyme dosage,enzymolysis temperature and extraction time on the extraction of Herba Lycopi polysaccharide. And the test was done about its scavenging effect on DPPH radicals and superoxide anions,and the antioxidant activity was evaluated. [Results] The optimum extraction process by cellulase method was as follows: p H value of 7; enzyme dosage of 4 ml; enzymolysis temperature of 40 ℃; extraction time of 2. 5 h. The average extraction rate of Herba Lycopi polysaccharide was 10. 70%,and RSD was 0. 17%. The antioxidant activity test showed that Herba Lycopi polysaccharide had a significant scavenging effect on radicals. 11Prediction and Verifcation of Forming Limit Diagrams Based on a Modifed Shear Failure Criterion显示文摘The forming limit diagram plays an important role in predicting the forming limit of sheet metals.Previous studies have shown that,the method to construct the forming limit diagram based on instability theory of the original shear failure criterion is efective and simple.The original shear instability criterion can accurately predict the left area of the forming limit diagram but not the right area.In this study,in order to improve the accuracy of the original shear failure criterion,a modifed shear failure criterion was proposed based on in-depth analysis of the original shear failure criterion.The detailed improvement strategies of the shear failure criterion and the complete calculation process are given.Based on the modifed shear failure criterion and diferent constitutive equations,the theoretical forming limit of TRIP780 steel and 5754O aluminum alloy sheet metals are calculated.By comparing the theoretical and experimental results,it is shown that proposed modifed shear failure criterion can predict the right area of forming limit more reasonably than the original shear failure criterion.The efect of the pre-strain and constitutive equation on the forming limits are also analyzed in depth.The modifed shear failure criterion proposed in this study provides an alternative and reliable method to predict forming limit of sheet metals.Haibo Wang Zipeng Wang Yu Yan Yuanhui Xu 2023Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,5:0

13Genome assembly of wild loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) and resequencing provide new insights into the genomic evolution and fruit domestication in loquat显示文摘Wild loquats(Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.)provide remarkable genetic resources for studying domestication and breeding improved varieties.Herein,we generate the first high-quality chromosome-level genome assembly of wild loquat,with 45791 predicted proteincoding genes.Analysis of comparative genomics indicated that loquat shares a common ancestor with apple and pear,and a recent whole-genome duplication event occurred in loquat prior to its divergence.Genome resequencing showed that the loquat germplasms can be distinctly classified into wild and cultivated groups,and the commercial cultivars have experienced allelic admixture.Compared with cultivated loquats,the wild loquat genome showed very few selected genomic regions and had higher levels of genetic diversity.However,whole-genome scans of selective sweeps were mainly related to fruit quality,size,and f lesh color during the domestication process.Large-scale transcriptome and metabolome analyses were further performed to identify differentially expressed genes(DEGs)and differentially accumulated metabolites(DAMs)in wild and cultivated loquats at various fruit development stages.Unlike those in wild loquat,the key DEGs and DAMs involved in carbohydrate metabolism,plant hormone signal transduction,f lavonoid biosynthesis,and carotenoid biosynthesis were significantly regulated in cultivated loquats during fruit development.These high-quality reference genome,resequencing,and large-scale transcriptome/metabolome data provide valuable resources for elucidating fruit domestication and molecular breeding in loquat.Danlong Jing Xinya Liu Qiao He Jiangbo Dang Ruoqian Hu Yan Xia Di Wu Shuming Wang Yin Zhang Qingqing Xia Chi Zhang Yuanhui Yu Qigao Guo Guolu Liang 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,2:0

17Design and experiment of high-productivity two-stage vacuum pressure swing adsorption process for carbon capturing from dry flue gas显示文摘A two-stage vacuum pressure swing adsorption(VPSA)process that coupled kinetically controlled and equilibrium controlled separation process with reflux has been investigated for capturing carbon dioxide from dry flue gas(85%N_(2)/15%CO_(2)).In the first enriching stage,carbon molecular sieve(CMS),which shows kinetic selectivity for CO_(2)/N_(2),is adopted as the adsorbent to remove most N_(2)in feed gas,thereby upgrading CO_(2)and significantly reducing the amount for further refinement.The second stage loads zeolite 13X as adsorbent to purify the CO_(2)-rich flow from the first stage for meeting the requirements of National Energy Technology Laboratory.Series of experiments have been conducted for adsorption isotherms measuring and lab-scale experimental validation as well as analysis.The effect of feed composition on the separation performance of the PSA system was studied experimentally and theoretically here.The optimal results achieved 95.1%purity and 92.9%recovery with a high CO_(2)productivity(1.89 mol CO_(2)·h^(-1)·kg^(-1))and an appropriate energy consumption of 1.07 MJ·(kg CO_(2))^(-1).Further analysis has been carried out by simulation for explicating the temperature,pressure,and concentration distribution at cyclic steady state.Xiuxin Yu Bing Liu Yuanhui Shen Donghui Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,3:0
