1The origin and geological significance of lunar ridges显示文摘Lunar ridges are a kind of familiar linear structures developed on the lunar surface. The distribution pattern, formation mechanism and research significance of lunar ridges are discussed in this paper. Single lunar ridges are usually distributed in the form of broken lineation, and, as whole, lunar ridges are trapezoidal or annular in shape around the maria. As to the formation mechanism, only volcanism or tectonism was emphasized in the past, but the two processes are seldom taken into combined consideration. On the basis of detailed analyses, the authors thought that tectonism is a prerequisite for the formation of lunar ridges, while volcanism is the key factor controlling their particular shapes. 2Geospatial technologies for Chang’e-3 and Chang’e-4 lunar rover missions显示文摘This paper presents a brief overview of the geospatial technologies developed and applied in Chang’e-3 and Chang’e-4 lunar rover missions.Photogrammetric mapping techniques were used to produce topographic products of the landing site with meter level resolution using orbital images before landing,and to produce centimeter-resolution topographic products in near real-time after landing.Visual positioning techniques were used to determine the locations of the two landers using descent images and orbital basemaps immediately after landing.During surface operations,visual-positioning-based rover localization was performed routinely at each waypoint using Navcam images.The topographic analysis and rover localization results directly supported waypoint-to-waypoint path planning,science target selection and scientific investigations.A GIS-based digital cartography system was also developed to support rover teleoperation.Kaichang Di Zhaoqin Liu Wenhui Wan Man Peng Bin Liu Yexin Wang Sheng Gou Zongyu Yue 2020Geo-Spatial Information Science2020,23,1:3

4Mapping Lunar Olivine Using Clementine Spectral Indices and Chemical Composition Parameters显示文摘Olivine exposures at the central peak of Copernicus crater of the Earth's Moon have been confirmed by telescope observations and Clementine spectra data.Using these exposures as training sites,this study used a method of combining two spectral indices(950?nm/750?nm and 2000?nm/1500?nm),one maturity index(Is/FeO),and four chemical content indices(FeO,Mg,Al,Ca),through a decision tree classifier,to map olivine-rich units on the west lunar surface based on mosaicked Clementine image(500 m pixel size).Most classified olivine exposures are found inside craters or on their rays,suggesting that olivine exposures are directly associated with the impact processes.The results have been validated in several selected sites,though further validations with data from the newest missions are strongly needed.YUE Zongyu XIE Hongjie DI Kaichang OUYANG Ziyuan 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1:2
5Hydrocode Simulation of the Impact Melt Layer Distribution underneath Xiuyan Crater, China显示文摘In this research, we studied the distribution of impact melt layers underneath Xiuyan crater using hydrocode simulation. The target was modeled by granite based on the rock type distribution around the crater and projector by iron, because most small and isolated terrestrial craters are formed by iron projectile. The simulated crater diameter and depth are 1 710 and 320 m, respectively, which are in good agreement with observations of 1 800 and 307 m(except for the postimpact lacustrine sedimentation). The validated model shows that impact melt materials were first formed along the transient crater floor and wall by highshock pressure, and then refilled inward the crater along with collapse of the crater wall. The final style of impact melt materials is interbedded with shock breccia underneath the crater center, which is verified through two layers in the borehole located in the crater center.Zongyu Yue Kaichang Di 2017Journal of Earth Science2017,28,1:2

7A Numerical Investigation on the Effects of Intake Swirl and Mixture Stratification on Combustion Characteristics in a Natural-Gas/Diesel Dual-Fuel Marine Engine显示文摘Natural gas/diesel dual-fuel combustion strategy has a great potential to reduce emissions for marine engines while the high fuel consumption is the major problem.Pre-chamber system is commonly employed as the ignition system on large-bore dual-fuel marine engines especially under lean-burn condition,due to its advanced ignition stability and engine efficiency.However,the ignition and combustion mechanism in such dual-fuel pre-chamber engine is still unclear and the effects of in-cylinder swirl flow and mixture stratification on combustion require further investigation specifically.This paper numerically studied the detailed ignition mechanism and combustion process in a marine engine equipped with a pre-chamber ignition system,and revealed the flame development process in main chamber.Moreover,the effects of mixture stratification and swirl ratio on the combustion rate and further engine thermal efficiency are investigated under decoupled condition.The results mainly show that the jet flame develops along the pre-chamber orifice centerline at the initial stage and premixed combustion play an important role,while after that,heat release zone only exist at flame surface,and premixed flame propagation controls the combustion process.In addition,with higher swirl ratio the combustion rate increases significantly due to the wider ignition area.Mixture stratification degree plays a role in accelerating the combustion,either too high or too low stratification degree reduce the combustion rate,while a moderate stratification increases the combustion rate.And appropriate stratification degree by verifying the gas injection parameters can reduce fuel consumption in 0.3%.YE Ying LIU Haifeng LI Jingrui LIU Teng DONG Jingjin LIU Bo WU Chaohui YUE Zongyu YAO Mingfa 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,1:0
8Mineral abundances and different levels of alteration around Mawrth Vallis,Mars显示文摘Spectral indices from OMEGA hyperspectral data show that there are two main phyllosilicates exposed in and around Mawrth Vallis:Al phyllosilicates and Fe/Mg phyllosilicates.Detailed analysis of CRISM spectra shows that Al phyllosilicates such as montmorillonite,hydrated silica,kaolinite;Fe/Mg phyllosilicates such as nontronite,saponite,serpentine are widespread on the light-toned outcrops.Though similar stratigraphical sequences,morphologies and textures are observed on both sides of Mawrth Vallis from HiRISE images,suggesting that the geological processes that formed these units must have operated at a regional scale;the multiple endmember spectral mixture analysis(MESMA) derived mineral abundance indicates that there is a higher level of alteration in the western side relative to the eastern side.We suggest that the observed phyllosilicates,stratigraphical sequences and different levels of alteration might have been caused by sedimentary deposition processes in which the composition of the external source sediment or the local solution was different,or by a pedogenic process closely related to the leaching of abundant liquid water with different chemical properties.Sheng Gou Zongyu Yue Kaichang Di Jinnian Wang 2015Geoscience Frontiers2015,6,5:0
9Development of the ignition delay prediction model of n-butane/hydrogen mixtures based on artificial neural network显示文摘Based on the experimental ignition delay results of n-butane/hydrogen mixtures in a rapid compression machine,a Genetic Algorithm(GA)optimized Back Propagation(BP)neural network model is originally developed for ignition delay prediction.In the BP model,the activation function,learning rate and the neurons number in the hidden layer are optimized,respectively.The prediction ability of the BP model is validated in wide operating ranges,i.e.,compression pressures from 20 to 25 bar,compression temperatures from 722 to 987 K,equivalence ratios from 0.5 to 1.5 and molar ratios of hydrogen(X_(H2))from 0 to 75%.Compared with the BP model,the GA optimized BP model could increase the average correlation coefficient from 0.9745 to 0.9890,in the opposite,the average Mean Square Error(MSE)decreased from 2.21 to 1.06.On the other hand,to assess the BP-GA model prediction ability in the never-seen-before cases,a limited BP-GA model is fostered in the��X_(H2) range from 0 to 50%to predict the ignition delays at the cases of��X_(H2)=75%.It is found that the predicted ignition delays are underestimated due to the training dataset lacking of“acceleration feature”that happened at��X_(H2)=75%.However,three possible options are reported to improve the prediction accuracy in such never-seen-before cases.Yanqing Cui Qianlong Wang Haifeng Liu Zunqing Zheng Hu Wang Zongyu Yue Mingfa Yao 2020Energy and AI2020,2,2:0
10Supercritical thermophysical properties prediction of multi-component hydrocarbon fuels based on artificial neural network models显示文摘A good understanding of the thermophysical properties of hydrocarbon fuels at supercritical pressure is important to research on experiment and numerical simulation of fuel supercritical spray.Experimental measurements are difficult to conduct directly because of the extremely high pressure and high temperature.In this study,back propagation(BP)neural network,BP optimized by mind evolution algorithm(MEA-BP)and BP neural network optimized by genetic algorithm(GA-BP)are established to determine the nonlinear temperature-dependent thermophysical properties of density,viscosity,and isobaric specific heat(C_(2))of hydrocarbon fuels at supercritical pressure.Meanwhile,approximate formulas for these properties prediction are primarily proposed using polynomial fitting.In this paper,models that can predict three types of physical properties of three kinds of hydrocarbon fuels and their mixtures in a wide temperature range under supercritical pressure are established.In the prediction of density and C_(2),BP neural network has a good prediction effect.The results show that the MAPE is lower than 2%in the prediction of density and C_(2),but the MAPE of viscosity prediction is slightly higher than 5%using BP.Furthermore,MEA and GA are used to optimize the prediction of viscosity.The optimization effect and computation of the MEA is better than that of GA because MEA does not have the local optimization and prematurity problems.The present work offers an efficient tool to predict the thermophysical properties of hydrocarbon fuels over a wide range of temperatures under supercritical pressure which can be easily extended to other fuels of interest.It will be beneficial to the experiment and numerical simulation studies of supercritical sprays.MING ZhenYang LIU HaiFeng WANG QianLong YUE ZongYu CUI YanQing WEN MingSheng YAO MingFa 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,4:0

12Numerical Simulation of the High-Boosting Influence on Mixing,Combustion and Emissions of High-Power-Density Engine显示文摘Future high-power-density engines require high level of intake boost.However,the effects of boosting on mixing,combustion and emissions in existing studies are inconsistent.In this paper,the mixing,combustion and emission characteristics with intake pressures of 100-400 kPa at low,medium and high loads are studied.The results show that the increase of intake pressures is conducive to the enhancement of air entrainment,while the air utilization ratios are reduced,thus requiring injection pressure to be optimized to effectively improve the mixing.For the intake pressures of 100 kPa,the average chemical reaction path is low-temperature reaction route,while the path of higher intake pressures is dominated by high-temperature pyrolysis.For soot emissions,when the equivalence ratio is lower than 0.175,the oxygen in the cylinder is suficient,so the effect of temperature decrease is more significant,which leads to the increase of soot emissions with the increase of intake pressures.Otherwise,the effect of increasing oxygen concentration is more significant,so soot decreases accordingly.When the peak of global temperature is lower than 1800 K,the effect of the increase of oxygen concentration is more dominant,so the NO_(x)emission increases with the increase of intake pressures.Otherwise,the rule of NOxemissions is consistent with temperature changes.WANG Can YUE Zongyu ZHAO Yuanyuan YE Ying LIU Xinlei LIU Haifeng 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,3:0
13Progresses and prospects of impact crater studies显示文摘Crater is a geologic structure in solid bodies(including the terrestrial planets, moons, and asteroids) formed by hyperspeed impact, and the impact process is extremely important to the formation and evolution of these celestial bodies. This paper presents a review of the studies on remote sensing observation, formation mechanism, and scientific application of craters. On the remote sensing study of craters, the topographic characteristics of the micro-craters, simple craters, complex craters, and impact basins are described,the related parameters in the morphological studies of craters are subsequently introduced, and the distribution characteristics of the minerals and rock types during the impact excavation process are analyzed,the methods of crater identification and the crater databases on the Moon, Mars, Ceres, and Vesta are summarized. On the studies of crater formation mechanism, the general formation process of the craters is firstly described, and then the most frequently used methods are presented, and the importance of the empirical equations is also elucidated. On the scientific applications of the craters, the principle and currently utilization of the planetary surface dating method with crater size-frequency distribution are firstly presented, and the applications, including modeling the lunar regolith formation and thickness derivation of both the regolith and basalt, are reviewed.
