| 2 | Plant pattern-recognition receptors controlling innate immunity显示文摘Plants are exposed to numerous potential pathogenic microbes. To counter the threat, plants have evolved diverse patternrecognition receptors(PRRs), which are receptor kinases(RKs) and receptor proteins(RPs) specialized to detect conserved pathogen/microbe-associated molecular patterns(PAMPs/MAMPs). Although only a handful of RKs and RPs are known PRRs,they belong to the receptor-like kinase(RLK) and receptor-like protein(RLP) superfamilies that undergo lineage-specific expansion, suggesting that many of these RLKs and RLPs are potential PRRs. Analyses of existing PRRs have uncovered ligand-induced RLK-RK or RLK-RP oligomerization as a common mechanism for immune activation. PRRs can recruit additional components to form dynamic receptor complexes, which mediate specific cellular responses. | 3 | SIS accuracy and service performance of the BDS-3 basic system显示文摘On December 27,2018,the basic system of the third-generation BeiDou navigation satellite system(BDS-3)completed the deployment of its constellation of 18 MEO networking satellites as well as the construction of the operation control system(OCS)and began to provide basic navigation services to users worldwide.Compared with BDS-2,BDS-3 aims to offer users better navigation signals and higher precision with a series of new technologies.For example,the spaceborne atomic clock of BDS-3 is upgraded for higher performance,the Ka-band inter-satellite link is adopted for inter-satellite ranging and communication,and new B1C and B2a signals are broadcast in addition to B1I and B3I signals(compatible with BDS-2).In addition,a 9-parameter model based on a spherical harmonic function is employed for ionospheric delay corrections.Using the observation data from 18 satellites of the basic system,this paper conducts a comprehensive evaluation of the pseudorange measurement characteristics,signal-in-space(SIS)accuracy of navigation messages and global service capability of BDS-3.The results indicate that the pseudorange measurement multipath effect and observation noise of BDS-3 satellites are better than those of BDS-2;additionally,with the support of inter-satellite links,the user range error(URE)of the BDS-3 satellite broadcast ephemeris is better than 10 cm,the precision of the broadcast clock parameter is better than 1.5 ns,and the SIS accuracy is better than 0.6 m overall.Different from the traditional Klobuchar model,the BeiDou global broadcast ionospheric delay correction model(BDGIM)can provide ionospheric delay corrections better than 70%for worldwide single-frequency users.The service capability evaluation of the basic system consists mainly of the accuracy improvement of the B1I and B3I signals according to BDS-2 as well as the global positioning accuracy of the new signals.These results prove that the BDS-3 basic system has achieved the design goal;that is,both the horizontal and the vertical global positioning accuracies are better than 10 m(95%).In the future,6 MEO satellites as well as 3 GEO satellites and 3 IGSO satellites for regional enhancement purposes will be deployed for full operation;consequently,BDS-3 will definitely provide a higher SIS accuracy and better service capability. | JinPing Chen XiaoGong Hu ChengPan Tang ShanShi Zhou YuFei Yang JunYang Pan Hui Ren YueXin Ma QiuNing Tian Bin Wu Yang Yu | 2020 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,6: | 14 |

To meet the demand of rapid energy supply during the driving period, it is necessary to establish a fast charging station in public area. However, EVs arrive at the charging station randomly and connect to the distribution network for fast charging, it causes the grid power to fluctuate greatly and the peak-valley loads to alternate frequently, which is harmful to the stability of distribution network. In order to reduce the power fluctuation of random charging, the energy storage is used for fast charging stations. The queuing model is determined to demonstrate the load characteristics of fast charging station, and the state space of fast charging station system is described by Markov chain. After that the power of grid and energy storage is quantified as the number of charging pile, and each type of power is configured rationally to establish the random charging model of energy storage fast charging station. | 5 | Slightly ruthenium doping enables better alloy nanoparticle exsolution of perovskite anode for high-performance direct-ammonia solid oxide fuel cells显示文摘Fuel flexibility is one of the most distinguished advantages of solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs)over other low-temperature fuel cells.Furthermore,the combination of ammonia fuel and SOFCs technology should be a promising clean energy system after considering the high energy density,easy transportation/storage,matured synthesis technology and carbon-free nature of NH_(3) as well as high efficiency of SOFCs.However,the large-scale applications of direct-ammonia SOFCs(DASOFCs)are strongly limited by the inferior anti-sintering capability and catalytic activity for ammonia decomposition reaction of conventional nickel-based cermet anode.Herein,a slightly ruthenium(Ru)doping in perovskite oxides is proposed to promote the alloy nanoparticle exsolution,enabling better DA-SOFCs with enhanced power outputs and operational stability.After treating Ru-doped Pr_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.75)Ru_(0.05)O_(3-δ) single-phase perovskite in a reducing atmosphere,in addition to the formation of two layered Ruddlesden-Popper perovskites and Pr_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles(the same as the Ru-free counterpart,Pr_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.8)O_(3-δ)),the exsolution of CoFeRu-based alloy nanoparticles is remarkably promoted.Such reduced Pr_(0.6)Sr0.4Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.75)Ru_(0.05)O_(3-δ) composite anode shows superior catalytic activity and stability for NH_(3) decomposition reaction as well as anti-sintering capability in DA-SOFCs to those of reduced Pr0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O_(3-δ)due to the facilitated nanoparticle exsolution and stronger nanoparticle/substrate interaction.This work provides a facile and effective strategy to design highly active and durable anodes for DA-SOFCs,promoting large-scale applications of this technology. | Xiandong Xiong Jian Yu Xiaojian Huang Dan Zou Yufei Song Meigui Xu Ran Ran Wei Wang Wei Zhou Zongping Shao | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,30: | 3 |

| 8 | Association between thyroid hormone levels and frailty in the community-dwelling oldest-old: a cross-sectional study显示文摘Background:Changes in thyroid hormone levels are commonly recognized characters among the elderly,which were reported to potentially influence incident frailty.Therefore,we examined the cross-sectional associations of thyroid hormones(THs)with frailty as well as the five components characterizing frailty(fatigue,resistance,ambulation,number ofillnesses,and loss of weight)among the oldest-old.Methods:Four hundred and eighty-seven community-dwelling oldest-old from a local community in Haidian District,Beijing,participated in our recruitment campaign between April 2019 and May 2020.The primary outcomes were a definitive diagnosis of frailty according to the FRAIL scale(Fatigue,Resistance,Ambulation,Illnesses,Loss of weight)and a positive score for each frailty subdomain.Demographic information(age,sex,marital status,and educational status),comorbidities,and details on the participants lifestyles were recorded.Serum THs including free triodothyronin(fT3),triiodothyronine(T3),free thyroxine(fT4),and thyroxine(T4)and thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)levels were also measured at the beginning of our study.Logistic regressions were conducted to screen for potential risk factors for frailty and its subdomains.Results:Among the total 487 subjects at enrollment,60(12.23%)of them were diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism and 110(22.59%)of the total population scored positive for frailty.Logistic regression analyses adjusted for all potential confounders,showed that frailty was significantly associated with the serum TSH concentration(odds ratio[OR]:1.06),fT3 concentration(OR:0.54),and subclinical hypothyroidism score(OR:2.18).The association between fT4 and frailty was absent in our observational study.The fT3/fT4 ratio characterizing peripheral hormone conversion was also tested to be correlated with frailty.Conclusion:Subclinical hypothyroidism,higher TSH level,lower fT3 level,and decreased fT3/fT4 ratio were all associated with frailty assessed by the FRAIL scale among the community-dwelling oldest-old,suggesting a relevant role of thyroid function in aging.Future longitudinal studies are warranted to determine the casual relationship between thyroid dysfunction and frailty in the oldest-old. | Bo Guan Jiakun Luo Xin Huang Fan Tian Shasha Sun Yufei Ma Yan Yu Ruihan Liu Jian Cao Li Fan | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,16: | 2 |

| 13 | Thermodynamic analysis for a chemically recuperated scramjet显示文摘Endothermic hydrocarbon fuel is regarded as an optimal fuel for a scramjet with regenerative cooling,which provides extra cooling through endothermic chemical conversion to avoid the severly limited cooling capacity when conventional fuels are adopted for cooling.Although endothermic cooling is proposed from the view point that the heat sink of a conventional fuel is insufficient,the heat-absorbing through endothermic chemical reaction is actually a chemical recuperation process because the wasted heat dissipated from the engine thermal structure is recovered through the endothermic chemical reaction.Therefore,the working process of a scramjet with endothermic hydrocarbon fuel cooling is a chemical recuperative cycle.To analyze the chemical recuperative cycle of a chemically recuperated scramjet engine,we defined physical and chemical recuperation effectivenesses and heating value increment rate,and derived engine performance parameters with chemical recuperation.The heat value benefits from both physical and chemical recuperations,and it increases with the increase in recuperation effectiveness.The scramjet performance parameters also increase with the increase in chemical recuperation effectiveness.The increase in chemical recuperation effectiveness improves both the performances of the fuel cooling system and the combustion system.The results of analysis prove that the existence of a chemical recuperation process greatly improves the performance of the whole scramjet. | QIN Jiang BAO Wen ZHANG SiLong SONG YuFei YU DaRen | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,11: | 2 |
| 14 | Spatio-temporal Characteristics of Area Coverage and Observation Geometry of the MISR Land-surface BRF Product: A Case Study of the Central Part of Northeast Asia显示文摘The Multi-angle imaging spectroradiometer(MISR) land-surface(LS) bidirectional reflectance factor(BRF) product(MILS_BRF) has unique semi-simultaneous multi-angle sampling and global coverage. However, unlike on-satellite observations, the spatio-temporal characteristics of MILS_BRF data have rarely been explicitly and comprehensively analysed. Results from 5-yr(2011–2015) of MILS_BRF dataset from a typical region in central Northeast Asia as the study area showed that the monthly area coverage as well as MILS_BRF data quantity varies significantly, from the highest in October(99.05%) through median in June/July(78.09%/75.21%) to lowest in January(18.97%), and a large data-vacant area exists in the study area during four consecutive winter months(December through March). The data-vacant area is mainly composed of crop lands and cropland/natural vegetation mosaic. The amount of data within the principal plane(PP)±30°(nPP) or cross PP ±30°(nCP), varies intra-annually with significant differences from different view zeniths or forward/backward scattering directions. For example, multiple off-nadir cameras have nPP but no nCP data for up to six months(September through February), with the opposite occurring in June and July. This study provides explicit and comprehensive information about the spatio-temporal characteristics of product coverage and observation geometry of MILS_BRF in the study area. Results provide required user reference information for MILS_BRF to evaluate performance of BRDF models or to compare with other satellite-derived BRF or albedo products.
