1Chinese Stroke Association guidelines for clinical management of cerebrovascular disorders: executive summary and 2019 update of clinical management of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis显示文摘Aim Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST)is a less common cerebrovascular disease that predominantly affects young patients.The incidence of CVST is 2-5/10000000/year,accounting for 0.5%-1%of all stroke.To reduce mortality and morbidity associated with CVST,Chinese Stroke Association commissioned the authors to write the current guideline on the management of CVST.Methods PubMed(MEDLINE),CNKI and Wanfang database were searched for studies related to CVST from 1 January 1990 to 31 July 2019.Data were synthesised by evidence tables.Each recommendation was fully discussed by the writing group members and reviewed by Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Fellow Committees.Levels of evidence grading algorithm of Chinese Stroke Association was used to grade each recommendation.results This guideline mainly focuses on the diagnostic evaluation,therapeutic strategies and secondary prevention of CVST.CT/CTV and MRI/MRV are recommended in the initial imaging evaluation of patients with suspected CVST.Anticoagulation therapy with low-molecular weight heparin should be initiated in patients with CVST immediately.After the acute stage,warfarin is recommended for 3-6 months to prevent the recurrence of CVST and other venous thromboembolic events.Conclusions The guideline summarises the current evidence regarding the management of CVST,and provides references for diagnosis,treatment and secondary prevention of CVST in China.Yuhua Fan Jian Yu Hongbing Chen Jian Zhang Jiangang Duan Dapeng Mo Wenhao Zhu Bo Wang Fubing Ouyang Yicong Chen Linfang Lan Jinsheng Zeng Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Council CVST Guideline Writing Committee 2020Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,2:14

5Synthesis of 1,8-naphthalimide-based fluorescent nano-probes and their application in pH detection显示文摘Two kinds of fluorescent nano-probes(pH-A and pH-B) with different diameters for the determination of H+concentration, based on photo-induced electron transfer mechanism, were synthesized through click reaction. In which 1,8-naphthalimide was employed as the fluorophore and N,N-dimethylethylenediamine as the receptor. The effects of particle size and linker length on the photophysical properties of the probe were studied. The results revealed that the nano-probes were more sensitive toward pH with increasing particle size. The fluorescence intensity at 529 nm(I529) of the nano-probe p H-A of 120 nm exhibited good linear relationship with solution's pH in the range of 6–8. 9Post-industrial Economic Restructuring and Wage Inequality in Urban China, 2003-2015: A Sectoral Perspective显示文摘Income inequality in urban China has attracted growing attention from China’s urban researchers and policy makers. Whereas many studies have interrogated the pattern and process of the income gap in Chinese cities undergoing the institutional transformation from plan to market, relatively little is known about how such unequal distribution of income is related to China’s ongoing structural transformation toward a post-industrial economy. Drawing on a decomposition methodology based on the Theil index, this study aimed to address this lacuna through an empirical investigation of China’s urban wage inequality from a sectoral perspective. Our empirical study identified the low-wage manufacturing sector and the high-wage producer services sector as the two biggest contributors to urban wage inequality in China. Urban wage inequality within the producer services was found to be caused by the spatial concentration of a disproportionate number of high-paying jobs in a few developed, high-tier city-regions on the eastern coast. 10lncR-GAS5 upregulates the splicing factor SRSF10 to impair endothelial autophagy,leading to atherogenesis显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)play a critical role in the regulation of atherosclerosis.Here,we investigated the role of the lncRNA growth arrest-specific 5(lncR-GAS5)in atherogenesis.We found that the enforced expression of lncR-GAS5 contributed to the development of atherosclerosis,which presented as increased plaque size and reduced collagen content.Moreover,impaired autophagy was observed,as shown by a decreased LC3II/LC3I protein ratio and an elevated P62 level in lncR-GAS5-overexpressing human aortic endothelial cells.By contrast,lncR-GAS5 knockdown promoted autophagy.Moreover,serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 10(SRSF10)knockdown increased the LC3II/LC3I ratio and decreased the P62 level,thus enhancing the formation of autophagic vacuoles,autolysosomes,and autophagosomes.Mechanistically,lncR-GAS5 regulated the downstream splicing factor SRSF10 to impair autophagy in the endothelium,which was reversed by the knockdown of SRSF10.Further results revealed that overexpression of the lncR-GAS5-targeted gene miR-193-5p promoted autophagy and autophagic vacuole accumulation by repressing its direct target gene,SRSF10.Notably,miR-193-5p overexpression decreased plaque size and increased collagen content.Altogether,these findings demonstrate that lncR-GAS5 partially contributes to atherogenesis and plaque instability by impairing endothelial autophagy.In conclusion,lncR-GAS5 overexpression arrested endothelial autophagy through the miR-193-5p/SRSF10 signaling pathway.Thus,miR-193-5p/SRSF10 may serve as a novel treatment target for atherosclerosis.Yuhua Fan Yue Zhang Hongrui Zhao Wenfeng Liu Wanqing Xu Lintong Jiang Ranchen Xu Yue Zheng Xueqing Tang Xiaohan Li Limin Zhao Xin Liu Yang Hong Yuan Lin Hui Chen Yong Zhang 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,2:1

13Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial Activity of New Ln(Ⅲ) Complexes with an Unsymmetrical Schiff Base Ligand显示文摘A new unsymmetrical Schiff base ligand (H2LLi) was synthesized using L-lysine, salicylaldehyde and 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde. Three solid metal complexes of this ligand \[Ln(H2L)(NO3)\] NO3·2H2O (Ln=La, Sm, Ho) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, UV spectra, TG-DTG and molar conductance. The antibacterial activities of the ligand and its complexes are also studied. 15Host protection against Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages by prior vaccination in spring 2022 COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai显示文摘The Omicron family of SARS-CoV-2 variants are currently driving the COVID-19 pandemic.Here we analyzed the clinical laboratory test results of 9911 Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages-infected symptomatic patients without earlier infection histories during a SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in Shanghai in spring 2022.Compared to an earlier patient cohort infected by SARS-CoV-2 prototype strains in 2020,BA.2.2 infection led to distinct fluctuations of pathophysiological markers in the peripheral blood.In particular,severe/critical cases of COVID19 post BA.2.2 infection were associated with less pro-inflammatory macrophage activation and stronger interferon alpha response in the bronchoalveolar microenvironment.Importantly,the abnormal biomarkers were significantly subdued in individuals who had been immunized by 2 or 3 doses of SARS-CoV-2 prototypeinactivated vaccines,supporting the estimation of an overall 96.02% of protection rate against severe/critical disease in the 4854 cases in our BA.2.2 patient cohort with traceable vaccination records.Furthermore,even though age was a critical risk factor of the severity of COVID-19 post BA.2.2 infection,vaccination-elicited protection against severe/critical COVID-19 reached 90.15% in patients aged≥60 years old.Together,our study delineates the pathophysiological features of Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages and demonstrates significant protection conferred by prior prototype-based inactivated vaccines.Ziyu Fu Dongguo Liang Wei Zhang Dongling Shi Yuhua Ma Dong Wei Junxiang Xi Sizhe Yang Xiaoguang Xu Di Tian Zhaoqing Zhu Mingquan Guo Lu Jiang Shuting Yu Shuai Wang Fangyin Jiang Yun Ling Shengyue Wang Saijuan Chen Feng Liu Yun Tan Xiaohong Fan 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,3:1

18Ethnobotanical survey of plants traditionally used against hematophagous invertebrates by ethnic groups in the mountainous area of Xishuangbanna, Southwest China显示文摘Hematophagous invertebrates such as mosquitoes,leeches,mites,ticks,lice and bugs cause various problems for humans.Considering reports on insecticide resistance and requirements for improved environmental and toxicological profiles,there is a continuing need to discover and develop new insecticides and repellents.Ethnobotanical surveys of traditional plant-based repellents provide a direct method of identifying plants for potential use.During five field surveys in Bulang,Jinuo and Lahu villages between August 2018 and July 2019,semi-structured interviews were conducted with 237 informants(151 male,86 female;mean age 63).Frequency of citation,use value,informant consensus factor and Jaccard index were employed to statistically analyze the collected data.A total of 709 use reports relating to 32 plant species and 71 remedies were collected.Similarities and differences between the three groups,as well as the Dai and Hani of Xishuangbanna,who were studied earlier,were shown through network analysis.These five ethnic groups living in the same area have a common understanding of traditional botanical knowledge against hematophagous invertebrates,but each group also possesses unique knowledge.Recording and protecting this traditional knowledge is potentially useful for protecting this cultural diversity and related biodiversity and can also have important practical applications.In this study,traditional knowledge provided us with many new potential plants for follow-up research for the development of new insecticides and repellents,among which Artemisia indica,Nicotiana tabacum and Clausena excavata are the most promising.Yi Gou Zhennan Li Ruyan Fan Zuchuan Qiu Lu Wang Chen Wang Yuhua Wang 2020Plant Diversity2020,42,6:1
19Crystal Structure and Geometry-Optimization Study of N-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldene)-4-aminoantipyrine显示文摘N-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldene)-4-aminoantipyrine has been synthesized. The structure is determined by X-ray diffraction method and elemental analysis. The crystal system belongs to orthorhombic space group P(2)2(1)2(1). The geometry has been ob- tained from the density functional theory (DFT) method and the B3LYP method employing the 6-31G* basis sets. The calculated results propose that the latter is close to the experimental data. The structural parameters from the theory are close to those of the crystal and the calculated total energy of coordination is ?31677.172 eV. 20Abnormal expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase in Duchenne muscular dystrophy muscles显示文摘Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a fatal genetic disease for the youth and children. 8 biopsies of DMD patients were determined and demonstrated that the membrane_binding nitric oxide synthase was enriched in normal skeletal muscles and was little in DMD muscles. The results from Western blot and immunohistochemistry showed that inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) was overexpressed in DMD muscle fibers, while a small amount of highly localized iNOS can be found in normal fibers.
